We had a great stay at Tango Beach Resort. Nice and helpfull staff. The breakfast buffet was great and when we orded food for lunch and dinner in the restaurant is was very good. Try the seafood at night it is great. The waiters in the restaurant were great and very serviceminded. Nice and clean rooms. We had booked a family room but got upgrated to two junior suites. The pool and pool area was held clean all day long. Nice beach with good sun beds. We had a great time and would go back to Tango Beach Resort

We were positively surpriced by the look of the hotel. It looked much nicer than on the internet. And our boys loved the waterslide! People at the entrece desk were helpful and friendly. And the location of the hotel is great- if you want to be near Chaweng Beach (10 minutes walking distance) but still have a more quiet beach with nice little restaurants on it. We were disappointed by the breakfastbuffet of the hotel. With the exception of one morning, the fruits were not cut freshly and the tomatos and saussages were cold ( already at 8.30am). And the service at breakfast was not very attentive. So we had to get coffee and tea most of the time ourselves, although there was a lot of stuff standing around ( well, we like to drink more than one cup of tea and we do not like to wait 15 minutes for each of it). As I mentioned before we did not like Chaweng itself ( but around Tangobeach it is nice). We found Chaweng dirty, noisy and crowded. And the food in the restaurants (actually food at the restaurant of Tango beach is great)was very good but for sure more expensive than we are used to from Thailand itself- so were the taxis. The taxiprices around Chaweng are really high! If you go to Tangobeach resort ( I would still go there again, if I would go to Chaweng again), do not miss the great massage in front of it. The ladyboss of it is amazing in giving a massage- we got there one of the best massages we ever had.

Absolutely a terrible choice! When we arrived we were accompanied to our room in the hotel of the resort that actually is a building seperate from the resort up the hill on the street... We had a seaview room, just that to see the view you should tear down some trees and buy a binocular... in the room there was a lizard, a spider, dirty sheets, and worst of all the bathroom with a dirty brown shower, brown water, and the sink would drain directly to the floor... After a whole day arguing with a very unpolite reception and manager we only managed changing to another room as terrible as the first with only a cleaner shower... Wouldn't recommend this hotel even to my worst enemy...

We only stayed one night there but maybe back to this hotel next time. The garden,superior room and breakfast is good. And the stuff are very nice. The beach in front of the resort is so so, but you can walk to nice beach in few minutes.If you go there with a baby or child, please pay attention to cats in the garden. One cat scratched my niece's face. The resort is quiet,but you can go to the market by walk to look for different restaurant.

This is a great hotel right on the beach, just a 10 min walk to the main shops, bars and restaurants giving it a quiet location. There is a 7 11 across the road and a nice bar next door. rooms are very well equiped and made up every day. staff are all polite, friendly and helpful, and the food here is fabulous with a wide range on the menu. I have allready recomended this hotel and will do to anyone thinking of staying in Samui. I received a first class service here and would love to stay again.

This is a lovely hotel with friendly staff. A nice place to chill out for a few days in a quieter area of Chaweng. We liked it so much we came back again a few days later after a trip to another island. My only complaint is that the air conditioning in our second room did not get very cool, and I told the front desk and they promised to send a technician. They evidently did not and the room ended up being fairly hot that night, which was a bit of a disappointment after such a nice stay previously. The bed in that room was also harder than the one we were in before. But in general, a great place to stay. Just check these things when you check in. Hopefully they will fix them in the future.

We stayed in the Junior Suite for 6 nights and enjoyed every minute of it. Its set up like the traditional Japanese house with three separate levels but all in the same room. The only down side was that there was no mosquitto/fly screens on the door or windows, so we invested in a mosquito zapper for like 200 baht. Our Junior suite was right infront of the hotel swimming pool which is actually quite nice. Dont know why this website does not have more pictues of it. They have a basic gym which I always got a good work out from and the buffet breakfast each morning was fine with a few variations of dishes each morning. Totally agree that the best massage is on the beach when you walk out of Tango and its only your left when facing the beach. Hotel staff were great and always smiling and happy. Looked geniune and not forced like some other hotels. Location of Tango beach is great, esp if you want to keep away from the noisy and annoying back packers who are on the other side of Chaweng Beach. But again, a short stroll (literally) to the main strip. Definitly would come back again!

We stayed at the family room during 18-23 Dec. Nice & helpful staff, they help me to reheat my baby's meal by using the only microwave at their restaurant's kitchen. The restaurant got good cooker, they made delicious food at reasonable price. Rooms are close to the beach, only a min of walking distance, beach is nice The hotel is a bit far from the chaweng beach (main beach), though it's only 15-20mins, but it's no good to talk a walk coz there's no light in the first 10mins Overall, our room is good except the light, it's too dim. And there has no intercom, so we had to go out to the front desk for help.

Beautiful hotel. Outside. Standard room was really damp and dark, except the glass door which provides you with light that will prohibit you from sleeping. Joy and Aon in reception are darlings and were really helpful with arranging snorkling trips and golf for my boyfriend. Breakfast is probably the best we ve ever experienced in Thailand, and we ve been here quite a few times. Locationwise it's just on the beach, but in the north end. Would take you about 15-20min to go to the centre of Chaweng, which was a bit annoying. Took the Songtaw (small red busses) for anything from 30-60baht per person. Taxi charges 200bath even though you re only going 500 metres. To sum it up, we would probably stay there again, but in a better room.

Perfect location, directly on the beach. Friendly staff, good food, great cocktails. The door to the room is frosted glass with no curtain so be prepared to be woken up at 6am by the sun. The hot water only worked in the mornings. Over all a very nice stay.

The overall environment is very cosy. We booked 2 rooms and my room (C6) was good and well kept. My friend's room (C14) had a few problems - Aircon wasn't cold enough and the toilet couldn't flush properly. The rooms have a safe which comes in handy. The staff are friendly and personal. The breakfast is ok, though the menu is the same everyday (would be good to have a bit of variety). The location is on the quieter part of Chaweng. (good - is quiet, bad - about 15 minutes walk to the shops further down which can be quite tiring). Overall I d rate it as a must stay hotel. I am back home now qand I already miss the place : )

The staff were all very friendly and our room was generally clean and tidy. We had a couple of problems with the toilet blocking and the air-con seemed stuck on one setting but nothing too serious. The pool was nice and was cleaned and cleared of leaves on a regular basis. The breakfasts were very average. Location wise, it's a 15 - 20 minute walk to the shops and bars.

I booked myself and all my family here, it was just as I expected, really friendly staff and great value rooms. We booked a junior suite but it was unsuitable as we have a 1 year old, and the suite has quite a few awkward stairs. After a little persuasion they upgraded us to a honeymoon suite for no extra cost and gave us a very late checkout for a minimal fee. I would recommend this resort to anyone looking for a small friendly resort with a laid-back feel.

Restaurant was the best value on Chaweng beach, with very friendly staff, food was top quality, good tunes...and a massage salon next door (too easy). after staying at Seaview in Koh Phangan, this was definately an upgrade(nothing wrong with Seaview - just on two totally different budgets). Staff were great and the place was pretty clean - i guess, i only used the place to sleep in coz i was doing a lot of sightseeing through out the day. after seeing the central of Chaweng - i definately made a good choice in terms of the location. It is about a 15 or so minute to the centre of the party life but at least at my end, it didn't smell so bad ;-) also, everything i want or need is within a stones throw away.

Tango Beach Resort is much more attractive than it looks from outside ,the staff are welcoming and the service is good.The pool is lovely and every thing is very clean. We didn't eat there in the evenings preferring to head into Chaweng,which has loads of great eateries and bars to suit everyone . I wasn't particularly impressed by either the snacks or breakfast at Tango Beach We stayed in a junior suite which was very attractive with a massive shower,dressing area, a lovely comfy bed and the complimentary coffee was filter although the tea was the usual lipton rubbish,on the down side there was some sort of service alley at the back of our suite which the staff used and we were woken several times around 8 in the morning by them going backwards and forwards it sounded as if they were in the room with us, there was also a full length window at the side of the loo on to the alley which was a little unnerving . The beach is lovely much quieter than further into Chaweng although a little shady immediately in front of the resort but there is plenty of room nearby. We stayed for 10 days before heading off to Bangkok,I would certainly recommend it although perhaps a different suite

This is a really good value hotel in Chaweng, situated about 10 mins north of main action in Chaweng, 15 mins from the airport. Our room was right next to the pool, which is a 30 seconds from the beach. They have a good restaurant right on the beach. The front desk staff are very helpful. It's worth booking your trips and mopeds etc there. The rooms are pretty basic but fine. They are gaps around the windows/ doors, so mozzies can get in - shut your curtains if possible. Would recommend highly.

The Tango Hotel was just a little too far away from the centre of Chaweng but not too much of a problem for us. It was almost impossible to get a sunbed on the beach in front of the hotel in the morning owing to the high tides. It was also very shady due to the trees. Two main negative comments about the rooms were the fact that the light used to come in very early in the morning as the door is frosted glass with no curtain and the other point is that there was hardly any draw space to put clothes etc. One night we were disturbed by a group of noisy teenage Koreans banging on each others doors and shouting all night. The breakfast was nice but could have been warmer at times. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful and all in all we enjoyed our stay at the Tango.

We absolutely loved Tango Beach Resort. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms are nice and were cleaned every day. If you are looking for somewhere to stay which is away from the hustle and bustle of the busy part of town this is the perfect place. You can walk 20 min down the road and do all your shopping and partying. Only thing I must say is the beach was a little narrow so you could not always get a seat on the beach unless you get there early. Otherwise Tango Beach Resort was wonderful! I would definately stay there again and recommend it to anyone.

Very helpful and nice staff. Stayed in a Junior Suite which was very nice too, clean, big shower, although a little dark and not enough possibilities to put your clothes. Value for the money is ok. Tango Beach is located at the northern part of Chaweng Beach. Perfect for quiet and relaxing beach days. In my opinion the water is too shallow and right in front of the hotel you had to overcome first a seaweed field to reach deeper waters. No problem as we found out 50m up there is no seaweed though. The hotels beach restaurant lazy wave served very good food too at a reasonable price.

A great hotel in North Chaweng where all the really nice restaurents are along the beach, and town is just a short walk away. The resort is such good value, only 1200 Thai Baht for a double room including a cooked brekfast. The satff are super friendly and all remebered my name. They will do anything to help you. I would definately recommend this hotel, especially if you want to be away from the hustle and bustle of central Chaweng, but still be able to walk into town if you need to. I am a single female traveller and I felt very safe here.

This is a small resort at the very north of Chaweng, yet only a short walk to centre of town. My deluxe room was very pleasant with a good sized bathroom.No bath but a large walk in shower/wet room. No problems with mosquitos as some earlier reviews had reported. Very friendly staff. Nice restaurant overlooking the beach which served great quality Thai and western food. Swimming pool very nice with jacuzzi- The pool area also got plenty of sun all day. Not much room for sunbeds as some of the rooms surround the pool, but this was never a problem as it was never crowded. I have stayed in many hotels in Samui during the past five years and this rates as one of the best.

there was a noising sound in our first room which we can't stand of it while sleeping, just right after check in and refresh ourselves for dine out, requested the front desk if possible to change the room, when back, yes, we got a better condition than original one.it was a great stay at Tango even it rained for 2 days, close to the beach, and 5 minutes walk to Amari hotel to have a fine dine there. two things for the comments, the staffs are please to serve, but need more smile to the guests, second is their presure and temperature of water is unstable, rest of all are good.

I highly recommend this resort to those who are with limited budget. It's really worthwhile~ excellent service, very friendly and helpful staff, clean bunglow, close to acess to the beach(just in front of the resort). I really wanne to stay longer there.

Tango Beach is a very nice resort, with comfortable and cozy environment, friendly staff and easy access to the beach (beach front). When I booked, they are having a promotion rate of 1200batt per night. It worth every penny! I'll definitely stay there again during my next trip. The only downside was, there was quite a lot of mosquitoes in the room at night. So it'll be good to bring some insect repellant with you.

I m very happy with siamwebhosting.com's services. Their responses are fast. Due to some unforseen flight re-schedule, my arrival/departure date had to be posponed by one day. I m really glad that siamwebhosting.com was able to accomadate the change in my date of stay even I contacted them one day before my initial date of arrival.

True to the pictures on the website. Very tasty interior decor though the furniture is not the cleanest. Good restaurant with nice ambience (Noir Restaurant). Staff are very friendly and helpful. The beach in front of the resort is not the best in chaweng, but it is very near to a sandbar to the left during low tide and the water there is pristine! Definitely a good location. Cons:- cleanliness of the room could be better. If possible get a room a bit further from the kitchen as the aroma does enter the bathroom on occasions.

No problems on bookings at all. However the reply to my email in changing the room from a double room to a twin room was slow.

Nice, clean hotel for a good price. Good breakfast and friendly staff. Location is good, 10 min walk to main chaweng with bars, shops and restaurants. Hotel pool nice and everytime very clean. Only bad thing is, that there was no water in the sea. Its not possible to take a bath there in july. Took 15 min walk along the beach to find a place to go swimming in the sea.

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel very much. Location is ideal, not far and not near the nosy heart of Chaweng beach. Breakfast is good. Pool does not closed at 6 p.m. as at many hotels so you can enjoy swimming under stars. Interior of the room (deluxe on the second floor)is very nice, wooden floor makes it very cosy. Thanks for the staff for making the home atmosphere.

Our stay at Tango Beach Resort was great. We were very pleased to see that the pictures online stayed true to what they really look like. The service staff was great and always accommodating. The area was also perfect since it was away from the hustle and bustle of central chaweng but everything was just a 5-10 minute ride away. The beach was also good - there are sandbars right infront of the resort where people can walk to. Overall, our stay at Tango was very good and memorable.

Everything about Tango Beach resort found on the travel site held true. We were picked up at the airport by the taxi and had friends coming in on a later flight so we told the staff and they quickly sent another taxi - no charge. Staff was extremely friendly - always remembered you. We originally booked a superior room but soon realized this was very very small and for a small price increase felt the deluxe was better for the price. Deluxe was very nice, huge walk in showers, clean towels and rooms everyday. Restaurant was great -right on beach, pool was big, clean. We rented moterbikes on-site for 24hr rental(200bahts- $7CND). If your looking for an in the middle resort (size, price, etc) just outside the downtown area (10 min beach walk) this is it!

Loved staying at Tango. We ended up extending our stay and are actually returning to Tango before we head over to Phi Phi. Staff were lovely, the rooms were clean and safe. The resort itself was perfect as our room was only 50m from the beach, the restaurant was right on the beach, good brekkie, and had a cool laid back feeling. The pool was clean and refreshing and the location of the resort couldn't be better. Far enough away to be quiet, but close enough to walk (10min) to where all the action is at. We will definitely be recommending Tango to anyone who goes to Chaweng.

Tango Beach Resort is located on the northern part of Chaweng beach and is much more removed from the crowds found in central Chaweng. It's only a 5 min walk to downtown so I loved it. The staff here is amazing, they always remembered which room I stayed in when I went to pick up my hotel key. The rooms are perfect for people looking to stay somewhere nice but not too economy. There are suites here for a little more money but overall it's a great value!! Scooter rental was $5/day and the overall experience here was fabulous. The beach is only steps away! They even offered me 20% off on my next stay which I will take advantage of. Defintiley recommended.

we have just returned from a very enjoyable stay at the tango beach resort,we booked a deluxe room which was ok, but very small and basic, but as we had a problem with the ac they moved us to a superior room which was of a much better size and standard and had working ac!! The staff at reception, cleaners and the restaurant were always very friendly and helpful. The food in the beachside restaurant was of a great standard and very reasonable, the spring rolls were the best I tasted on the island! we found the location to be great, within minutes walk to bars and restaurants and about 10-15 minutes walk into central chaweng(green mango) All in all we had a great holiday and would stay again at this resort

This place is a surprising little gem. It is situated in the less hectic north chaweng with good beach and facilities. It is close to the airport but also easily accessible to the more hectic main chaweng strip via beach or road. It is quite nice when you step off the main road into the open hotel lobby to see what is concealed behind. It has a good sized pool surrounded by rooms leading down to the bar/restaurant and beach area (this is quite a small area but is preferable to the busier resorts further down the beach). The rooms were of a good standard, cleaned & fresh towels daily and it also offers an efficient laundry service. It is a place that would appeal to all, we were a group of 8 young adults but families and couples were also staying there. As it is a relatively small place the staff seem to have a great deal of time for you, are very friendly and also they speak pretty good english.The food served in the restaurant is also of a good standard with a reasonable selection of western to thai food. There are also numerous eating and drinking options in the vicinity of the hotel. We had no complaints about this hotel, thought it was good value for money and would definitely stay there again.

I travelled right around Thailand and found Tango Beach to be the best place we stayed, the rooms were clean and spacious, the hotel was perfect with a great pool and perfect beach location close enough but far away enough from everything. The staff were the major difference between other hotels, they were extremely helpful and gracious and went more than the extra mile to make our stay perfect, even taking us out for a drink one night! On returning to the island on the 5th January to fly out we called in to say good-bye and they remembered our names! Truly one of the best places and I ve already recommended it to my family and friends.

Great service and friend staff. Facilities are great also. It has mosquito netting for your bed, water boiler, etc. Rooms are nice, but only thing is the king size bed in the Deluxe room I stayed in was actually two single bed joined together. Toilet is clean and nice. I would definitely stay here again.
