Accommodation and facilities:
We had a really pleasant stay at L Hacienda. The room is the same as shown in the picture, very clean and prettily decorated in Thai theme. We were welcomed by the check-in staff, and he helped us with the luggage. There is a very cute pool on the rooftop as well. It's in a great location with Bo Phut pier within 5 minutes walk. Will definitely recommend.

Fantastic location at one end of fishermans village! We absolutely loved the gorgeous room. We had a balacony that overlooked the sea and our room was spotless! Our bathroom was fantastic, too. The rooftop pool is small but perfect! It was great to laze in the pool with the beautiful views of the sea. We would highly recommend this hotel and area and would definately stay there again.

Hi, We stayed in room number two which had a marvellous view over the ocean and a covered terrace with a jacuzzi. The bedroom was well presented and the staff very kind and helpful. Unfortunately the bathroomdid not come up to standard for a 3900 B a night room. The shower was tiled with beach stones set in concrete and as such very hard to clean. The floor was concrete set with smaller stones and similarly felt unhygienic. The towels were very old and not really suitable for purpose. The sink only had cold water and the shower and trickle of warm.

We stopped at this hotel for one night between leaving Ko Tao and flying out to Hong Kong. Good points -it's very pretty, good location, and the pool is great. Bad points we paid extra for the room with a jacuzzi which didn't work and the staff made no attempt to fix it, so that was a complete waste of money. The curtains had velcro tabs which didn't work too well so when we drew them they kept falling off the rail. Blind in bathroom didn't fir properly. sSmall things let it down.

Hotel lovely and clean very nice comfortable rooms would stay again, only disappointment was the condition of the roof top pool, the water was dirty and cloudy which stopped us from using it.

my wife and i( 58 yrs) booked for three nights at the hacienda hotel.we had a beautiful room with stupendous sea views.the room was spotlessly clean and well serviced and we found the hotel staff to be charming.the young lady on duty in reception was particularly helpful.she immediately changed the faulty tv set and searched out reading books for us when we ran out of books to read.the hotel has a beautiful rooftop pool and balcony that gives views over bophut beach.we enjoyed our stay here so much that we booked in for a further six days.lots of great little bars and restaurants nearby and a relaxed ambience make this hotel and the bophut area ideal for a chilled out break.

Good enogh hotel and good location. But I have been disapointed by the poor welcome (Thaï woman perfect but the French owner very disapointing). For the breakfast it was necessary to book it the day before (not always confortable when you are in holidays). I will not go back in this hotel and I will not suggest him to my friends.

This was a nice hotel in a good location. The manager, Noi, is very nice. She upgraded my room to an ocean view. They took good care of me - making sure I was ok and booked my ferry ticket for me. The owners are not very friendly. I am not sure if they speak much outside of French. They seem to talk a lot to the French speaking folks. The hotel is for sale so they may be burt out. You will need a motor bike since the beaches near the hotel are not very nice. The town is nice and not too touristy.

Everything about this hotel was charming and lovely. From the beautiful rooms to the rooftop pool. Hotel is so quiet that most of the time you could have the pool to yourself... all of this was made up with the politeness of the presumably local girl who was receptionist. Only a few minutes walk to the busy part of town with shops and restaurants, so cannot really find too much to fault with this place! Over all I would definitely stay here again for a few nights without any hesitation :-)

The rooms are beautiful and have great view (if you have seaview). The hotel has a small swimming pool on the roof. The beach in front of the hotel is very small and not good for laying in the sun. The hotel is well located in bophut. Everything is at walking distance. If you order breakfast (which is not included) they come and bring it to your room and you can eat it on the balcony.

The hotel is located in Bophut Beach area which is about a 15 min drive from the busy and bustling area of Chaweng. This area is really quite and suited for couples and families even though it is situated near a pier where you can catch a boat to Koh Phagnan for the full moon party which is more of a young persons scene. I stayed in the deluxe room it was very average to dispointing, it had a/c, a very small tv, no room service, no room telephone and no hotel facilities to drop keys off. Basically if you were going out you had to keep the key with you which was large and a nuisance if you wore light clothes. The hotel was full of many cats, I don't know if that is a good or bad thing. However the hotel is situated next to the beach but its quite stony. Other than that it was easy to get a taxi and book excursions. The shower was the most disapointing feature of the hotel it was very low pressure and it was like that in all the rooms since it we as a group booked 3 rooms. The pool was horrid full of dead insects and we did not use it. In terms of value for money we would ve been better off booking something in Chaweng or if we really wanted to stay in Bophut it would ve been better to stay at The Waterfront or B1 Spa and Villa which are close by but they are slightly more expensive. Another helpful piece of advice I would give is to always get a receipt of any payments you make to the hotel as when we stayed there, a misunderstanding almost occured where we almost ended up paying twice, but this was resolved.

Good points: quiet, spacious and clean rooms, very friendly and helpful staff. Bad points: somewhat old-fashioned and tiny TV, beach-a bit on a rough side + a strong fishy smell (in November), yet the Bo Phut area was quiet without many touts ( a big advantage.)

This is my 2nd time in Koh Samui. We stayed on the ground floor room #1 for several nights. Here are pro's and con's about this room and the hotel. Pro s: - This room is right by the beach so you feel like it's your private beach. - This room comes with beach chairs so you can relax, read a book, stare the wave, look up the sky, or what ever you wish to do. - The room was clean, the bed was big enoght for 2 people and comfortable. - A nice swimming pool on the roof of this hotel. A great view! - Staffs were very kind. Con s: - A noise problem! There is a door between Room#1 and Room#2 so you get to hear all the noise from your neighbor! Which means you can hear their conversation and TV clearly. At night time, you can hear them wrestling on bed. You feel like you are staying at a cheap motel. - A fridge was pretty noisy. - There is a big window(without glass but with a bamboo curtain) between bedroom and a toilet so you can hear what ever you are doing in there. Overall, this hotel was okay but me and my wife will never stay here again.

The hotel is a perfect option for all individual travelers. The rooms are lovely decorated and the staff is friendly. The view from the pool on the terrace is simply stunning. Although the rooms without seaview can be a bit noisy. One minus point was, that the hotel overbooked the rooms for our last night, so that we had to move in a lower categorie. Otherwise we can recommend the Hacienda.

This is a very pretty little place although I wasn't too keen on the open lattice-work division between the bedroom and the bathroom. Bophut has its own special little charm which, unfortunately, wasn't helped by the all-night music coming from the Budhist temple a few blocks away. Ear plugs didn't help so we booked out and went to Chaweng Beach instead.

Great little boutique hotel in a nice and quiet location in Bo Phut. Booked a luxury seafront room and wasn't disappointed. Lovely little patio area overlooking the sea and beach, jacuzzi overlooking the patio then a nice little terrace with overhead fan. Room was nicely decorated and clean. Dividing the bathroom and bedroom is a trellis covered by bamboo screening which doesn't give much privacy, but not too much of a problem.

Great little hotel, We came last year and came back and also plan to go back next year. This is a great little place with great view of the sea , pool is heaven. Bophut village is full of small little restaurants, great ambiance and also very quiet.
