The Seaview Suite is fabulous. There are two large balconies and there is plenty of space. The large room upstairs is just as nice as the pictures suggest. The room downstairs is much more ordinary. The two bathrooms need renovating. The food in the restaurant is excellent and the service impeccable.

We were very happy with our stay at the Florist Resort. The room was clean and comfortable. The covered balcony was excellent, as we had a lot of rain during our stay. The pool was nice, and the restaurant was of good value. We didn't get to enjoy to beach much because of the weather, but the hotel is right on the beach and loungers are available. We would definitely stay here again!

I went there with my girlfriend for 3 days to relax after a crazy Thailand trip. This was the best 3 days. Meanam beach is great and not that busy, nice massages on the beach. The florist resort has very nice big rooms, with balcony and aircon and good views. Resort is right on the beach with restaurant on the beach. Breakfast was the best I found in the 5 places we stayed in Thailand. Can rent a scooter to do sight seeing and see the busy Chaweng and Lamai beach.

The family sea view suite had a great outlook, but the rooms were not interconnected and the access was via rickety stairs without rails, not suitable for small children. The restaurant food was poor. The overall condition of the resort was ramshackle and the price of 4500 baht was excessive. We checked after a night and moved to a resort that was a little more expensive but absolutely lovely

Upon arriving at the florist resort my husband and I were immediately disappointed. Hotel staff were ununiformed so it was hard to tell who was staff, check in reception area was very unprofessional, there were piles of discarded furniture stuff scattered around the hotel grounds. The room was a good size and bathroom was clean and a good size. However the room had grotty marks on the Walls making it feel dirty. The room had all advertised facilities but was a lot more worn out than the pristine condition as shown in photos. The hotel in photos looked like crisp linen and very clean which it is not. The pool was nice and clean which was a plus. However there were no pool towels supplied. The hotel advertised chill out coffee /tea areas near pools which were non existent. The hotel itself was not located properly on google maps and is pretty isolated from the shops ect, the hotel was shown on google maps as 150m away from the mecure where our friends got married which is another reason we booked here, but in fact it was 2km away!! On our first night we left for dinner and on returning to our room there were 3 people outside our hotel door, one shining a torch at the lock and one trying to get it - we thought our room was getting broken into as it all looked pretty dodgy - whilst it turned out it was hotel staff who claimed to want to change a lightbulb we wonder why they wouldn't have waited to ask us to come in while we were there. It all felt strange and we felt uneasy. The hotel restaurant whilst quaint boasted nothing of a professional feel. The next day we went to fisherman village where we found a new hotel - and arranged to transfer there immediately - the new hotel ended up cheaper, in the middle of busy fishermans village and perfectly professional crisp and clean!

The website is very easy to use and returned emails quickly when we had questions! When we decided to change hotels the staff at this website contacted the hotel to negotiate an early leave arrangement!! I have only good things to say about the website staff. The website itself portrayed florist resort as something more than what it was through pictures and info but I m not sure if they just publish what is given to them by the hotels??

We had seaview suite. Nice private area outside right at the beach. Private pool, but this was in the shadow and the water cold. The hotel is not good maintained. A bit dirty all over, and the service was at times not good. The breakfast is very simple. The resturant serves otherwise good and cheap food.

The Florist is on the very beautiful & peaceful beach of Mae Nam (it's not crowded or noisy here!). Good beach if you want to swim. We loved the location on the beach and the restaurant with a view on Koh Pha Ngan & Koh Tao. Hotel is very clean, staff is nice and helpful. We had 2 mini-superior for us and our children. The rooms are clean, a little old and basic but the location with your feet nearly into the pool is very great. Breakfast is ok. You can also eat there at night, not expensive and lovely because they put the tables on the beach with romantic lights. We spend 3 nights.

Florist Resort is a very nice hotel located right in the middle of Mae Nam beach. A friendly, relaxing place to stay with very nice staff and a personal touch. They were very attentive and responded to our needs instantly, always with a smile and genuine care. Mae Nam is a small city, not too far from the hectic life in Chaweng if one wants to go there it's just 20 minutes away by cab. The beach is simply wonderful, perfect for a bit more quiet vacation with everything within reach. We d be happy to come back!

We love the stay at The Florist Resort. The Resort was right on the beach. We stayed in a mini superior room right beside the pool, and only 1 minute to the relaxing beach at Maenam. Very nice hotel! I really enjoyed my stay there. I lived in a superior room just near a big pool. The service is great! The room was cleaned every day. The beach is fine, not steep at all. The staff is very friendly. Everyone has a smile for you. Breakfast was OK, though, not various. The same fruits, juices, and eggs every day. However, everything was fresh and tasty.

We stayed for 3 nights in a room which had direct acces to the pool (30 cm from room entrance). This was great for the kids and the pool was large - 25 meters.There was direct access to the beach from the hotel but the beach was not great - it was very steep and a few meters out the kids could not reach the bottom. Hotel staff was very, very friendly and helpful. The room was OK but not great. The breakfast buffet was good. All in all very good value.

Wir hatten für drei Tage reserviert und blieben drei Wochen. Das Florist ist eine kleine, zentral gelegene, ruhige und saubere Anlage direkt am Maenam Beach. Wir hatten ein Mini-Superior Zimmer mit direkten Pool Zugang. Für uns absolut perfekt... Alternativ hätten wir die Seaview Villa genommen, welche ein echter Hinkucker ist. Das Personal ist stets freundlich, hilfsbereit und zurückhaltend. Nach kurzer Zeit gehört man zur Familie... Das Frühstück muß wohl etwas besser als ringsum sein, denn es kamen Gäste aus anderen Anlagen deshalb vorbei. Das Restaurant, abends direkt am Strand, ist ein besonderer Genuss, den man sich schon mal gönnen sollte. Preislich nicht viel teurer als im Ort oder in der direkten Nachbarschaft. Der Strand lädt zu langen Spaziergängen ein, ist aber nicht sooo feinsandig wie z.B. Chaweng. Dafür ruhig und man kann schwimmen. Innerhalb von fünf Gehminuten findet man rundum alles was das Herz begehrt, bloß kein Nachtleben . Dafür geht es Abends per Roller bzw. Sammeltaxi nach Chaweng zum Kühe umschmeissen... Wir waren sehr zufrieden, hatten einen Traumurlaub und werden wiederkommen.

This was the second time that my girlfriend and I have stayed at the Florist, and it's perfect each time. The people are super nice and friendly. The rooms are clean, and cleaned daily (my girlfriend is very picky - she never has complaints here). The location in Mae Nam is very relaxing and chilled out, with great restaurants and a nice little cocktail bar on the beach nearby. And the full moon party is just a quick boat ride away, if you need a change of pace. All in all, it's a little slice of paradise at a very reasonable price.

We stayed one week in Florist resort.It´s nice hotel very close Maenam beach with a big pool.Rooms are big and light.The staff was very friendly, especially Tim, the lady in reception.She helped us in many ways.Also the boys in the restaurant tried their best always smiling and offerind the happy balloong to be sented on the beach.The beach itself is quite narrow on this part if you compare to Chaweng and the water became deep fast.Maenam is on the North side of the Island and so the sun comes from your back when you´re laying there.Otherwise the beach is very nice;more peacefull than Chaweng.We recommend Florist resort cause it´s nice and peacefull place.You can take taxi or local bus or scooter if you want to go shopping somewhere.

booked for 3 nigths, but stayed 13 nigths! for this price gategory this was a very good choice. we booked the mini superior, that has direct acces to the pool. it was really large room. the only negative thing is the condition of the pool and beach furniture. they where in poor condition. the lady at recepton was very helpfull and the most hard working thai we have ever seen.

I stay at the room that just beside the pool. It's great. Water in the pool is clean. The Lady help us check in was so helpful. She help us contact car rental company, keep the driving lience and remind me to take that back. I rent a 4 seats HONDA for THB1500 per day.So cheap. one thing need to beware that they give you the car with almost no gasline and you can return the car in the same situration. so the first thing you need to do when you get the car is go to gasline station. And the lady also help us to call to the airlines to change my flight! I will stay there again if I go to Koh Samui.

We stayed at Florist Resort for 2 nights - one either end of a trip to Koh Tao. It's a beautiful little hotel situated right on the beach. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. This hotel offers excellent value for money and we wouldn't hesitate to spend a full holiday there. Only downside were the restaurant staff (on second stay only) who were rude and unhelpful. There are plenty of other restaurants along the beach so these members of staff can be easily avoided!

We found the accommodation satisfactory and the swimming pools very good. Maenam is as the travelk books relate fairly quiet and nothing like as busy nor touristy as Chaeweng nor even Bo Phut. Our only real complaint against the resort was the restaurant which served a very mediocre breakfast which was very ordinary, repetitive and small portions. To call it a restaurant for other meals was over complimentary as it was little better than a canteen. We ate in one evening to be loyal to the staff but regretted it and were better off eating elsewhere.

Но чего-то отелю не хватает..Наверное пляжа большого, как в КокоПалме...И в наш период было много русских..Хотя отель не пакетный...Русские вели себя абсолютно безобразно: пили, пьяными купались ночью в бассейне и т.д.

The staff at the Florist Resort was very nice and always helpful. We stayed the first 4 nights at their Ocean View Suite which was a great room in Thai style with private porch and a beautiful view over the beach and ocean. The other 6 night we spend in their superior room which was very nice as well -with a big bathroom overlooking the nice pool. The rooms are very clean and friendly. At my next visit I will stay there again. Don't be alarmed when turning off the main road getting to the hotel - this road is one thing that could use some help.

We stayed at the Seaview suite and it was probably the nicest room we ve stayed in for that price range. There are much more luxurious rooms available on Koh Samui but this had so much character, and is just a few metres from the ocean. It was also very well cared for, spotlessly clean with regular deliveries of fresh flowers. The hotel itself feels very much like a family run business, everyone was very friendly and helpful, and we were allowed to keep our room until 3pm on the last day, which was a big bonus. The restaurant has a limited menu but the food is excellent, watch out for the specials, such as locally caught fish. The de-luxe rooms also looked very nice, and the hotel layout itself is lovely, but we wouldn't recommend the standard rooms as these are now a bit tired , and the de-luxe and seaview are such good value anyway.

We stayed in this hotel in the deluxe room for two nights. The room was very nice, new and modern. However the hotel itself was not anything special, the breakfast was very simple. The beach was OK, not many people, the location in Samui probably not the best. We would not go there again. It might be a good place for one night if you want to transfer from the beach to Koh Pangan or Koh Tao.

The location at the Mae Nam beach is really good if you don't want to be in the very touristic areas as Chaweng. The rooms at the Florist are nice and if you have any questions or demands they will answer it. The fish restaurants on the beach are very good.

This is a lovely hotel! Our room was spacious and the glass sliding doors opened right onto a swimming pool! The location on Maenam Beach was lovely- very quiet with a beautiful view of Koh Phanang. The restaurant at the Florist is completely lackluster but we enjoyed eating dinner on the beach at other nearby places. We would love to come back here again.

Great stay! some rooms smelled faintly of rotting damp laundry, but we were accomodated to one that was clean and right on the beach. The grounds are also kept neatly, and you cant beat the location, a few steps down are three wonderful beachfront restaurants, and situated on the other side of the property is the best kept secret in samui, the tiki tiki bar which plays great music and serves amazing drinks you can enjoy while gazing out to koh phagnan. good for families as well as couples.

The resort was very clean, and very accommodating. The staff were very friendly, and spoke english well enough to communicate. We had booked the deluxe room, but the superior room was better for the money so we moved rooms with no problem. The only bad thing to say about the resort was that they didn't have any internet access or telephone in the rooms so we had to go to the reception area to use them. The resort was about 30 steps from the beach. It's a very quiet beach with not many people to bother you. A great resort to hide away from the city life. Chaweng beach was only about 20 minutes on the scooter so if you wanted to see the city of Samui it was only a ride away. The pool is not as big as it looks in the picture but it's a very good size to swim and was being cleaned daily. There are couple of restaurants and bars on the beach with great price for the food and Thai massage and oil massages are all over the beach front with price range of 300 BHT. You can also rent scooters, bikes, cars, and jeeps for very low price near the resort. Make sure you get helmets, when you rent scooters cause the cops will give you a 300BHT ticket when they feel like it. The cheap eats near the resort was a place called Arun @ the Samui. on the main street right outside of the resort. You should try it. Maenam Beach is an area for families, couples and people who want to be secluded. The sand on the beach is a little rough compared to Chaweng Beach but a great hideaway. We had a wonderful time at the resort and in Koh Samui! We would definitely recommend staying here <3 Extra Information: -If you are coming in from Nathon Pier by the Ferry, the taxi rate shouldn't be more than 400 BHT. If they suggest you take a mini-bus before the ferry, It's the same price but the mini-bus won't take you into the resort. -When leaving out of the the resort to the Airport, the taxi ride shouldn't be more than 400BHT. We hope this helps and have a great time in Koh Samui~!!

We tried 2 types of rooms in the hotel: Superior and Seaview. Both of them were excellent, towels were changed every day, as well as general cleaning was made. Staff was really friendly and helpfull but actually their English was not too good but acceptable. Breakfast in the hotel restaurant was included in the price and it was very good. Overall food in the restaurant was tasty and cheap, but unfortunatelly no fresh seafood was offered. The only disadvantage of the hotel was the gutter located approximately 200m from the hotel on the beach, during the rainy weather some water coming from the road was in that gutter and subsequently got into the sea which is not good. In spite of this we liked the hotel very much and we'll definitely come back here again.

We had a wonderful stay in the New Deluxe suites at the Florist Resort in January of this year. Great facilities, gorgeous pools, very friendly service. Rooms were cleaned everyday to a good standard. Resort was nice and quiet with no children running about which was just great. Pickup from airport was all organised through SiameServices and someone from the resort was waiting for us when we arrived. Would stay here again for sure. Maenam beach is very pleasant and quiet.

Very nice hotel, rooms look just they are on the pictures here, our Standart was very good, just A/C a bit noisy. There are two pools - one small for children between two hotel buildings, and the other one 20m long between other two buildings, but there is no pool with see view as it was said here. The restaurant is very small, just about 6-7 tables, so if the hotel will be more than a half booked it would be no free place near pools or in a restaurant. It's a nice place for people who just want to have quiet vacation without nightlife.

This is a nice little hotel. Its about a 5 min walk to the heart of Maenam. We stayed in a Standard Room which was great...partial ocean view from the big balcony. The resturant was only really in operation for free breakfast, and the bar had been closed down. Still, not to worry plenty of eating places around either on the beach or in any of the streets. The hotel grounds are nice with 2 great poolsand the swiiming in the ocean is ok there too. Can also hire a motorcylce for 200 BT a day. Overall very happy with the hotel and staff...would reccommend

We only stayed one night at the Florist, but found the staff very helpful, the hotel cute and the restaurant food tasty. It is a very convenient spot if you are going to or coming from Koh Phangan and taking the Thong NaiPan taxi boat from Maenam pier, as the Florist Resort is right in front of it. The water was good to swim in and the beach a little more on the crowded side as far as the Maenam beaches go. Would probably stay again, but might pay the extra for the Superior Deluxe room as the amenities in the Deluxe are pretty basic.

Very nice hotel on Maenam beach. We stayed in the seaview suite which is fabulous. It is on the second floor (on top of the office of the manager) with a huge terrace with a table and two triangle pillows. 2 pools (one small and a very nice larger one), beach in our view one of the best on Koh Samui. We were here in low season, could be a little bit crowded in high season, as the beach is not very big (but thats just a guess). The restaurant is just ok at most - food ok, staff very bored and not really friendly. But the next two restaurants are very good, especially the grand sea view restaurant with extremly friendly staff. The only negative is that sometimes there is a bad smell as about 50 meters away (between the two mentioned restaurants) there is a gully, which sometimes is overflown... We would definately stay here again (were on the same beach 4 years ago in a different resort), as Maenam is a very quiet place (no action at all, shops close at 9 pm), and the sea is deeper that on most other beaches). If you like action - dont even think about Maenam...

The hotel is clean and well designed and the rooms are clean and simple. However the beach is not particularly nice. There were quite a few dogs/cats and what seemed to be an open sewer right next to the hotel on the beach! However there are loads of great cheap places to eat along the beach and if you are backpacking i think it is fine. Overall we were very disappointed in Koh Samui. But Koh Tao made up for it!

My wife and me booked a new deluxe room over siameservices for 10 nights. After a long trip about 22h we arrived late night at the florist. And I tell you, we were really impressed and surprised. The rooms are very nice furnished, absolut clean and the bathroom is so lovely installed, with decoration and everything you need. The aircon is as calm as you can't almost hear it. At daylight you can see why they call the resort the florist : beautifull blossoms, plants and banana trees for selfservice in a very good shape. We called it paradise. The restaurant very close to the beach get the next compliment, cause the owners and the staff made wishes reality. Doesn't matter what we wanted or what we asked for, they managed it. (Best regards to Joe and his frieds.) The kitchen of the restaurant ist very creative and tasty like I never had before, water is running in my mouth when I think about the BBQ. At last I like to say a big Thank you to Mike from the travel agency which is integrated in the florist. If you like to book a trip or a flight or rent a bike, anyway. Mike and his wife will and can help you. They did a great job. Hi Mike, hope your family is well. Great place. We had a wonderful holiday here and would definitely recommend it to others. We stayed in the New Deluxe Room for 10 nights and then had to move to the Deluxe A/C Room for the final 4 nights (not our choice by the way). The New Deluxe rooms are really nice and well maintained. The Deluxe A/C Rooms are also nice, just a little smaller and older. Rooms were cleaned and towels changed every day. Location is great - right on the beach. The bar/restaurant is really cool and chilled out, but if you don't want to eat here every day there are loads of restaurants in walking distance. Overall the resort is nicely designed and has a really cool, laid back feel to it. Perfect for couples after a quiet time. Its right on Maenam beach which is much quieter than Chaweng, which was perfect for us. If you feel the need for a wilder time or a bit of an adventure its easy enough to get around Samui. We just wanted to relax and do nothing and thats exactly what we did. Many thanks to Jit the owner and Mike the manager who are both lovely people and very helpful. Particular thanks to Me and Miao who ran the restaurant. They made our stay extra special and became good friends. We will come back next year.

Beautiful with some setbacks. Location right on the beach. Our room (sea view suite) was very tasteful and big. A big balcony with a potential of a stunning view facing the beach. Big refrigerator & TV. BUT the bed was stone hard and uncomfortable (unless you like hard beds) almost like sleeping on the floor. The view facing the sea was partly blocked by great numbers of cables that supplied other buildings with electricity. But if you stay in another apartment you don’t have this “problem”. Staff was really wonderful. So friendly and always happy doing everything they could to help you. You can really feel the family atmosphere. Since breakfast isn’t included you should try “You & me restaurant” ore “Twin sisters” across the street. Beside breakfast these restaurants serve great Thai food for about 80-150 bat a dish. If you want something cheaper & not so well presented you should try just crossing the street from the resort (beside the furniture shop). Here a lunch for 2 persons cost about 150 bat, and the food is GREAT.
