Dette er et meget fint og hyggeligt hotel. Det ligger 1. min. fra stranden og 1 min fra gaden. Stranden er helt perfekt mens gaden kan undværes. Man kunne godt ønske sig et personale der var lidt bedre til engelsk, da det ellers er lidt svært at kommunikere med dem. Ellers hjælpsomme og imødekommende.

Ved ankomst til hotellet, ville personalet have os over på nabo hotellet. Så hav endelig jeres dokumentation iorden. Ellers ingen problemer.

Отель очень грязный, в номерах практически не убирают. Завтрак разнообразный, но например фрукты - подкисшие были постоянно. Постель поменяли только на 4-й день пребывания, после разговора на ресепшене, потом начали менять через день. Нет пляжных полотенец. Полотенца в номерах - старые. Бассейн чистый, хороший. Расположение- отличное. In rooms practically don't clean. A breakfast various, but for example fruit - not fresh was constantly. Bed-sheets have changed only for 4th day of stay, after conversation on a reception, have then started to change every other day. There are no beach towels. Towels in numbers - old. Pool pure, good. Location - good.

Wir waren jetzt im Januar 2012 das 3.mal auf Koh Samui am Chaweng Beach.Leider war es auch das schlechteste und somit auch das letzte mal dort.Angereist sind wir als drei Erwachsene und bekamen im Bungalow ein Doppelbett mit Zustellbett,sprich eine lavede Schlafstätte!Nach unendlichen Diskussionen wurde dies abgeschafft.Frühstück wurde uns in Buffetform versprochen was dann auch ab der 2.Woche klappte.Die Auswahl sahen wir auch schon mal besser!Das schlimmste eigentlich war,das man die Liegen am Strand(wenn der Strand da war!)vom Nachbarhotel nur mit benutzen durfte wenn man auch sofort Getränke bestellte.Die Thais sind eben auch schon seeeeehr Europäisch geworden!Leider aber nicht beim sauber machen!15 Tage lang ließ dies zu wünschen übrig!Als krönender Abschluß erlebten wir auch noch,das der Hotelbus,den wir 2Tage vorher bestellt hatten,zwar da stand aber uns nicht zum Flughafen fuhr.Also suchten wir uns früh 8.00 Uhr(das ist nicht einfach um diese Uhrzeit!) ein Taxi.Abschließend,wahrscheinlich muß man auch in Thailand wohl 1* mehr buchen um das zu bekommen was man bisher gewohnt war.Für uns hat es aber leider seinen Reiz verloren.

Stayed for 9 nights at Evergreen and enjoyed every minute. Pros - Great location just off main road of Cheweng and a 2 min walk to the beach - Excellent room very spacious - Comfy bed - Nice pool - Friendly staff Cons - have to walk through another hotel to get to beach - breakfast is buffet and often cold , although is a decent offering by the Thais attempting a western breakfast - only 3 sun beds at the pool - as it is not directly on beach there are no beach sun beds and non to hire - no beach towels , although pool towels are available but only for the pool We would return although Cheweng is starting to lose its Thai identity as it becomes more commercialised. As such more likely to stay in Lamai beach next time or skip Thailand altogether and head to Vietnam.

Top Floor, Jacuzui suite! Fantastic clean room with excellent staff. Breakfast not very exciting very basic. Clean and neat resort looks better in real life than on the website, the website doesn't do the hotel justice. Lovely gardens and pool excellent value.

We saw the hotel a few years ago (last trip to Thailand) and decided to book a room for 1 night before we fly back to Bangkok this time. The hotel and the rooms itself look worn. Some fresh paint could help. Our room was not cleaned properly and the windows in the bathroom were damaged - there was always a gap between window frame and window where mosquitos flew into the room. The AC was very loud. The breakfast was ok but the restaurant area was too small.

We stayed there a night before our flight goes back to BKK the next day. We had a Superior Room in the main building, directly at the mainroad, cool for shopping, and 200m to go the beach. But in the night, its not so quite. The Beachfront Bungs. looked good in a more quite area with nice plants. Staff was really friendly, the interior was good incl. minibar, free-water and coffee-maker. We had breakfast incl. was very good. But: The bathroom seems to be not cleaned it the last 5 days. Hairs (pubic hairs) in the shower cabin, toilet dirty, even in the coffeecup was a hair. all in all okay for one night. The only bad thing was the bathroom !

Vi ar en familj med 2 vuxna och 2 barn som var pa Evergreen i 2 veckor. Aveende resorten ar allt till belatenhet forutom tva saker: 1. Pool/poolomradet ar for litet, det far bara plats med 3 solstolar som alltid ar upptagna om man inte vaknar kl 06.00. 2. Resorten har inga solstolar vid stranden sa man far ga och leta efter lediga stolar pa stranden. For ovrigt at Koh Samui inget jag kan rekommendera, Chaweng beach som vi bodde vid var full med folk och en massa forsaljare och annat elande. Nu ar vi pa Koh Phangan (Haad Yuo beach) ett helt underbart stalle med fina strander och inte sa mycket turister och forsaljare. Lungnt och skont. Jag kan rekommendera Long Bay Resort pa Koh Phanagn. Fint Poolomrade och ca 5 meter till strander - SUPER.

Fairly good location for the money, but this place was really dirty. The bathroom was so dirty! There was mould and pubic hair everywhere (previous guests). Luckily I was only staying 1 night or I would have been really Pee d-off. Didn't use the pool, but I wouldn't want to. It is tiny and crap. The breakfast was good though. Only good thing about this place.....

The Hotel is OK, however, it does not have its own beach territory, not many facilities. It is located in the center of Chaweng beach 2 minutes walk from Green Mango club, the most famous dancing club at Chaweng beach. The breakfasts are very simple. We stayed only for 4 nights, and most of the time it was cloudy, therefore, we didn't really needed beach chairs or towels. But it is not the best hotel if you want to relax in the sun.

Location was fantastic one minute walk from the beach & one minute walk from the main strip of chaweng, so it was really convenient. Stayed in the Deluxe bungalow which was great. Only downside was staff barely spoke english so communication was a real bother, it took us 10minutes to explain to them what an international plug was and they didnt end up having any anyway. Breakfast was ok.

The hotel has no own beach. It has the beach of BB Chaweng hotel. Rooms are big, not so bad at all. Bathroom is not new, has some small problems with door of wash cabin (in our room at least). View from standard room is on hotel yard with swimming pool. It's very noisy from chaweng road the whole night in standard rooms! Hotel has very beautiful garden on the way to the sea.

Was my first stay at Evergreen Resort. My girlfriend an me stayed in the Junior Suite Room. Really a great room. Especially the jacuzzi was super. One day the weather was not so good, so wie used this nice bathtub. Really great. The way to the beach only a few meters. But not only the Junior Suite is good. Allthough the other 12 normal rooms in the building are good. Breakfast allthough ok. If you stay on 2nd oder 3rd floor you have a great view. Better than to stay in the small bungalows in the garden. Next time I will go again to Evergreen and try to get a room on highest floor, because there you have a perfect view. Und jetzt für alle auf Deutsch, die es interessiert. Ich war jetzt zum 7. Mal auf Koh Samui am Chaweng Beach. Einfach immer wieder schön dort. Ein Ort zum Wohlfühlen und Ausspannen. Diesmal vom 13. bis zum 22. Mai. Waren insgesamt 9 Nächte im Evergreen Resort. Viermal habe ich bei meinen Aufenthalten im Montien House weiter im nördlichen Teil von Chaweng gewohnt, vor zwei Jahren im B.B. Chaweng rechts vom Evergreen und letztes Jahr im Baan Chaweng Beach Resort links vom Evergreen Resort. Das Evergreen war bisher die für mich beste Unterkunft. Nicht so groß und nicht tausend verschiedene Zimmerkategorien, wo man vielleicht nachher nicht weiß, ob man auch das bekommt, was man gebucht hat. Ganz wichtig ist auch die Strandlage der Anlage. Das Evergreen liegt meiner Meinung nach am besten Strandabschnitt von Chaweng und sehr zentral. Der Zugang zum Strand geht am Ende der Anlage ein Stück durch das Baan Chaweng Beach Resort. Kein Problem. Ist dann wenigstens die Bar für den nächsten Banana Shake nicht weit ;-)Eigene Liegen hat das Resort auch nicht. Auch kein Problem. Einfach die Liegen vom Baan Chaweng Beach Resort oder aber vom B.B. Chaweng benutzen. Dort jeweils etwas an der Bar bestellen und dann geht das klar ;-). Null Problemo. In Höhe vom Evergreen ist der Strand perfekt. Bin jetzt schon öfters den Strand hoch und runter gewandert. Aber von der Lage ist Evergreen wirklich top. Was hilft es, wenn man im Amari Hotel weiter nördlich wohnt, aber der Strandabschnitt für die Tonne ist. Da hat man dann auch keinen Spaß. Und der Weg in die Ark Bar ist auch nur ein kurzer Fußmarsch. Ark Bar ist für mich Pflicht. Geniale Atmosphäre und leckeres Essen zu fairen Preisen. Das Gute am Evergreen ist zudem die Lage, wenn man abends in Chaweng unterwegs ist. Im Hotel selber hört man abends nichts von dem Trubel. Aber innerhalb einer Minute ist man mittendrin. Bis zur Green Mango Road nur ein paar Meter. Wäschewaschen geht im Shop auf der Hauptstraße schräg gegenüber der Einfahrt. Das Frühstück im Hotel ist meiner Meinung nach ausreichend. Gut, im Baan Chaweng nebenan gab es letztes Jahr eine größere Auswahl, aber ich muss mir ja nicht schon morgens den Magen vollschlagen ;-). Mir reichen Kaffee, O-Saft und Marmelade. Außerdem gabs auch Rühr- oder Spiegelei mit Speck oder Omlette mit Speck. Dazu weiter noch Früchte. Also wirklich alles bestens. In der Anlage stimmt das Preisleistungsverhältnis. Wichtig ist für mich auch immer das Bad in den Anlagen. War beim Evergreen auch ok. Besseres Bad als im Baan Chaweng nebenan. Das Personal im Hotel ist sehr nett. Wer mit einem Motorroller die Insel erkunden will, hat die Möglichkeit, direkt im Hotel einen Scooter zu mieten. 200 Baht und gut ist für den Tag. Also umgerechnet nach jetzigen Kurs 5 Euro für einen ganzen Tag Motorroller. Superklasse. Empfohlen sei dann eine Fahrt ins Shoppingcenter an der Hauptverkehrsstraße, wenn man Chaweng verlassen hat und Richtung Nathon fährt. Rundherum kann ich zum Evergreen nur eines sagen: Sehr empfehlenswert. Dürfte mein neues Stammhotel am Chaweng Beach werden.

We stayed here from the 29th of January till the 7th of February in a Junior suit. Our room was nice but somethings like the floor and spa were not very clean when we arrived which was disappointing. The location is perfect! In walking distance to everthing! The staff are very friendly. Breakfast didn't have a lot to choose from but was lovely. 2 minute walk from the beach, through lovely gardens.Pool and bar were both great both BRAND NEW!

Location is perfect in the middle of the Chaweng beach. This was our 3rd stay in Evergreen. Stuff was very nice and friendly as always. We booked superior room but paid extra and changed to bungalow, because superior room was so dirty. It seems that after renovation they only make some minor cleaning for rooms and after few years rooms are getting very dirty, especially bathrooms was terrible. Its a bity for this nice hotel. Perhaps cleaner should be adviced better how to really clean rooms. Bungalow was much cleaner and I hope it will stay same.

I was disappointed with room- wery small, dark and with strange smell... Room cleaning was on low level. Breakfaste average (I did not expected more) - enough to be full up. Hotel don't have beach towels and chairs.

Stayed in the Deluxe Villa , which was OK - Airco on the room has been placed on a wrong location since the outlet was directed on the bed. The hotels misses it's own beach, which is an absolute must on Chaweng. Since the location is right in the center, you re close to everything.

Hotel is in very good location and has a nice pool area. Breakfast was ok but nothing special. We renter motorbike from the hotel and it worked good. Negative things: Room was little worn out, shower had funky smell and little mold. Also the temperature of water in shower was hard to adjust. There was also little ants in the room which wasn't nice. There was partly open window in the shower which maybe helped one gekko to enter our room...

I stayed in the Junior Suite on the 4th floor. Very nice room with spacious balcony and jacuzzi. All staff were pleasant. Nice pool and within walking distance of the nightlife. The beach is just 2 minutes away. Would definitely stay here again!

Generally ok, hotel is located in quiet area close to main street and beach. Rooms are fair-sized with balcony, but they looks worn out, air-condition is loud (except bungalows which have newer model). Bedding could be cleaner, it had funny smell. There is plenty of pharaon ants in rooms, about which cleaning staff doesn't care too much. Swimming pool is ok, beware of scooter rental, they aren't insured. You covers all damages! It is hard to say in what technical condition scooters are, in addition to poor quality roads it can cause accident.

We Stayed at Ever Green Resort for 2 days. Location is gr8, very close to chaweng beach. Just 2mins walk. Kind and helpful staff. Nothing much to say about the breakfast as we were vegeterians, so we just had juice n bread toast. Hardly few channels were playing.They should increase and put better channels. Had a pleasant stay!! Would definately suggest this hotel.

Good location in the centre of Chaweng. Unfortunately no own beach, beach access through another resort. Rooms are ok for the price paid (2300 Baht/night). Most boring breakfast I had in Thailand :-(. If the price was right I would consider staying here again.

I can honestly say i had the time of my life here! From the 1st point of contact in reception on arrival (Daw, Kan,keng and Jeab).The waitresses/bar staff (Peung, Beer and special mention to the lovely Som!!) the general manager, Nawee and even the owner, every one of the staff were excellent and so friendly and really would do their best to help in any way they could. Definitely one of the best places i ve had the pleasure of staying in. It was also an added bonus when i arrived to find a small swimming pool and poolside bar which does a full menu of food all day as well so you could just chill out and relax in the tranquility of the surroundings. My room i had was superb with all the usual air con, tv, coffee/tea facilities, en-suite etc etc and were spotless and housemaids were in every day in the 31 days i was staying there. The location of Evergreen is also superb. Situated right in the heart of the busy bustling main Chaweng beach road you are ony 2 minutes walk from the centre of everything. Very quiet at night too which is great. There are no bars at the top of the street meaning the only noise you will encounter is maybe the occasional drunk guest staggering back to their rooms after a heavy night out! Yes, i must admit, i was guilty of this on the odd occasion, lol. Also only 2 mins walk from the beach so you really do have the best of both worlds. I'll definitely be coming back and the other guests i spoke to said much the same as i have said here so i know i m not the only one who shared this opinion of this.

Excellent Hotel and facilities. Made our stay in Phuket very relaxing. Our room was superb, a deluxe pool view room - good size, clean and well maintained. The swimming pool was the most impressive part of the hotel. I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for a decent hotel, in a nice part of Phuket that isn't over-run by bars and night clubs. Patong is only a 10 min journey away on a tuk tuk if you would like to have a more hectic time

The hotel is in renovation actually (Sep-2008) so is not possible to have breakfast or use the pool. The rooms were clean, big and daily cleaned, the location is perfect for the shops and restaurants, but is not in first beach row, so you do not have sea views. If you have a disccount due the renovation, is a very good hotel to stay.

this hotel i would not reccomend for families or couples. Rather i would recommend for ppl who like me are comign with friends and just wanna have a great time and do not care much about where they stay. The room it self is very cleen, towles changed every day as are the sheets, floors get cleaned too as u tend to bring sand in to the room. the room has a flat screen TV mini bar and air con, as well as balcony. (not much of a view) its good for drying your swimm stuff and possibly the morning coffee. beds are comertable bathroom is big and very clean and sterel. loads of space to put all your cosmetics and stuff. The room also cas a small safe with a 4 digit lock. so nothing to fancy but very much comfertable and clean. Also one very very very big plus and also the main reason why i suggest it to party ppl is that the hotel is just 50m away from the main party zone in Chao wang i really had a blast with my friends and would defenetly opt for the same hotel when i return to samui

We have stayed in Ever Green Resort on two previous occassions and it was quite ok in a good location in Chaweng. Staff were always helpful and efficent. I tried to book a standart room at B 900 but only delux were available at ca B 1600 night. While the rooms were better than the standard they did not warrant the extra B 700. The air con was undersized for the size of the room

Hotel is in a ok location. booked the hotel for 5 days but could only stay 2 days. with all the construction going on next to ever green was to much to bare. the Jack hammers started at 7:00 am. es plained to the hotel that we could not get rest and had to leave. asked about getting my money back on the three days i didn't stay there. told they don't give refunds. so beware of your hotel first before you book it.

Hotel Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Motorbikes are for rent and travel agency services at reception. Also housekeeping was good, thank you for that. Location is good only short walking to the beach. Hotel does not have a pool or restaurang services but both are available in short distance. Rooms are little old fashioned and suppose all are smoking rooms so prepare facing a little smell. At least room number 116 was very good althought the water pressure in shower is quite poor :-). All rooms are equipped with safebox + aircon which is a plus. I would not recommend this hotel to families with children. We liked Samui & Chaweng. Will come back for sure.

We found the hotel to be surprisingly peaceful amid a chain of ticky-tacky businesses in downtown Chaweng. There are few amenities at the hotel, e.g. no swimming pool, nothing more than access to the beach, no restaurant/breakfast, etc. However, having said that, we enjoyed the hotel's styled rooms, accomodating staff within their limits, and proximity to other restaurants.

my 4th year running here, and still cant find fault with this place.a stones throw from the beach, and a 5 min. walk from the nite life (soi green mango). despite this, the place is silent at nite, and no traffic noise in the day. all the building work mentioned is now finished, so there is no problem there, end the staff are all great, and save you a bundlediscounted excursions. would reccomend, and will stay again. p.s the beach front restaurant next door takes some beating.

Excellent place and value for the money. Great location too, except that there is no pool and the walk to the beach is beautiful, but you pass by another hotel property and are not allowed to use the chairs on the beach. They are not open for Ever Green guests. So that was a bummer. We had to walk forever to find a bar with chairs open and of course pay for drinks to stay. But otherwise fantastic place and would stay there again.

Location of evergreen is perfect. Just off the beach. This resort is without breakfast and reception hours are not 24 hours, something which could cause problems for late or early check-out. No towels are provided for the beach unlike other resorts. When we arrived, the reception demanded a payment of 30 euros as a deposit for damages. I think customers should be treated better considering the long distance to arrive at Samui. We were very tired and could not wait to arrive at the room. The only positive aspect is the room. It was the best we stayed in. Very nice and clean.

Very nice hotel. We booked Superior Villa. Room is clean and comfortable. What is very important there was safe in the room. Air-con is good. Hot water - no problem. Good location next to bars, restaurants and to the beach. Staff is friendly. Our flight was delaied for 1 hour and we arrived to the hotel at 23.30. Though reception's working hours 7.00-23.00 security guard called somebody and man came for our check-in. Thanks a lot! One thing I didn't like... they have no own beach chairs. But you can use beach chairs from neighbor hotel. No problem with that. In general, everithing is good. Would certainly stay again.

Wir hatten die Junior Suite im 3. Stockwerk des Hauses. Wir hatten uns für das Evergreen entschieden wegen seiner Zentralen Lage zum Einkaufen und wegen dem schönen Whirlpool auf dem Balkon zum entspannen nach dem Shoppen. Nachteile des Hotels: Kein eigenes Restaurant, direkt an der Flugschneise, gegenüber wird ein neues Resort gebaut, kein eingenen Strandabschnitt. Für unsere Zwecke war das Resort aber ausreichend, da wir sowieso nur 4. Tage in Chaweng zum Einkaufen waren. Zimmer und Zimmerservice waren für den Preis gut.

We stayed in the Junior Suite and it was fantastic. This room has a spa on the large balcony with palm trees and the ocean lining your view. The hotel is newly renovated and this particular room is very large. Spacious bathroom, LCD TV, Cable TV, good aircon (cant stress the importance of GOOD aircon). Currently there is some building works next door but they aren't disturbing and knock off at 4pm. The flight path is right over Chaweng so this is unavoidable in most places you stay. The room doesnt come with the extras like breakfast but the buffet breakfasts at most hotels in Thailand are very boring, and generally poorly prepared (normally bacon and eggs). Personally I prefer to find my own restaurants in town. Saying this the town is on one doorstep and the beach is on the other doorstep. Close to everything. If choosing the bungalows outside of the main building they didnt look quite as flashy as the main hotel. I personally recommend spending a bit more and getting their Junior Suite. For about $120AUD a night its worth the extra baht.

GREAT WELCOME FROM THE STAFF. We have booked a superior bungalow. room was ok. good bed. bathroom was terrible, the floor seemed to be dirty all the time,also after the maid had left the room. Aircondition was really noisy. After 5 nights at the Evergreen, we moved to montien house 200 meters away. we paid 600 bath more, got breakfast and a much better room. But afterall, a ok stay at the evergreen!

The hotel is a few steps from the beach. The beach is quite busy not the best part to relax if somebody prefers doing that. Arround the hotel it is noisy at the moment as they build new hotels. The center is just behind the hotel, perfect for shopping and haveing good bars. The rooms have NO garden view as there is no garden arround. Towels for the beach are not provided from the hotel and it is not allowed to use beach chaires from the neighbor hotel, even it was told to us. People at the reception are very friendly but the cleaning in the hotel is not good. We had to remember them to clean the floor. The bedclothes were not changed within 10 days, only the pillow. The hotel is new but it alreay looks now as it is older because of not enough care about the building.

This is my third holiday to Koh Samui, each time staying at a different hotel, so I will try and give you a sound critique. Firstly, cannot say enough good things about the Evergreen Resort. The rooms (I stayed in a Superior Villa) are clean, comfortable and well maintained. It is a great choice for the budget traveler (excellent value for money). Most of the staff were very helpful, courteous and spoke a little English. The resort itself is well located in the heart of Chaweng. It was less than a 1-minute walk from my room to the shops, restaurants, pubs and nightlife. In the other direction, it was only a 1-minute walk to the (very crowded) beach. The only slight annoyance is the hotel is located under the flight path to the airport (although there is a curfew between 11.00pm and 6.00am). You do not want to stay any further north up the beach because the rock reef makes it dangerous to swim (you will see what I mean at low tide). The beach is far better, safer and quieter the further south you go. My recommendation is, if you fall into the 15 to 35 age group, looking for the heart of Chaweng nightlife and a crowded vibrant beach, then this is a great place to stay. In contrast, if you are looking for quiet beach to kick back, swim, relax and read a good book, then I suggest you stay further south. I hope you find this information helpful.

A very clean and comfortable hotel. Service impeccable and very reasonable room prices. We stayed one week in a bungalow which was totally fine but before we went home we also took a week in a deluxe room with jacuzzi on the balcony! Lovely! Ask for the top floor and you'll even see a bit of the sea from the jacuzzi.. We will definately stay here again. The only thing was that there was no breakfast or sunchair service but that wasn't too hard to arrange with the next door hotel.

The hotel was okay, i had the fortune to have a bran new bungalow and it was nice. Now the sad part: The reception refuses to transfer telephon calls from a thai people to the rooms. I told them that this is NOT their decition to make and that i whant every call put through. Next day same thing happand and the man called WAT was verry rude, ignored me and went in to office. I had to make a cene to get managers name and WAT's name. Talked to manager about this, so i hope they change policy. I NEVER stayd at a hotell anywhere in the world where the reception filtering the guests phonecalls...
