Accommodation and facilities:
We stayed in a Garden View, #204, just ok for a budget hotel, ok breakfast, kind reception personal, nice house keeping ladies perfect location, calm sea because of a rock wall that protects the beach from waves, perfect for little kids. the restaurant on the beach is just ok, nothing fancy, the one facing Chaweng road is better, 7 eleven just across the street, overall a good budget hotel.. lots of mosquitos thou and bad isolated rooms, they all get in ..get repellent and a cream at the drugstore to calm the bites :o)

Great place to stay, value for money. We were there with two small children and the beach is perfect. Rooms aren f perfectly clean, especially the bathrooms need a fix me up.. Breakfast isn't marvellous but good enough. Chaweng is really busy, but the beach has enough space

Villa's are situated away from the noisy street. They look better on the Internet than in real. Bathroom of villa 202 needs doing up, shower curtain too short, floor gets wet each time you shower. Daily cleaning and fresh (beach) towels is a plus.

Hello. My family and I had a great holiday at Chawenge Villa Beach. A very fine resort with good service, and the stuff was very smiling and helpful. Very closed to the sea. We lived in the garden huts, It was ok but the beds could be better, and the water pressure in the shower could be better. An old resort but good enough for the price. If you are loking for peaceful living with a private beach, find another Island.

This hotel was very dissapoiting.I have been to thailand about 10 times and stayed in the most basic bungalows ,and this hotel was worst than any of them.the drainage was terrible we had to stay in a room with a toilet full because it would not flush and they could not move us in the middle of the night.it could not of been renovated since it was built,the bathroom was black and felt very dingy and dirty.the breakfast was horrible,So my advise would be stay some where else.

The pool looked like a moldy pool that they did not fix and the whole hotel area was not good. We had 3 small children and the pool is esntiel, but i was not good. So we went to antoher place.

We booked Chaweng villa after some nights at The Island (few steps away) we decided to have the coconut house with loft, very nice, roomy and Thai inspired deco, we enjoyed very much our time there, the pool was great and location amazing, friendly staff, JUST make sure you check on your mini bar when you get your room, and check carefully all bottles are closed or they will charge them to you. Overall great value for themoney, clean and friendly resort, will def.come back next year.

My first visit to Thailand and I´m very pleased. Great hotel/pool with friendly and serviceminded staff especially our friend by the poolside - absolutely the right man on the job. Pepole like him make´s you want to come back! Otherwise the room was better than I expected and everything was nice and clean. Another positive thing was that no one of the salespersons from the beach where allowed at the hotelpremesis - sweet! As for the beach i thought it was´nt as clean as I had wished for, they would really have to clean it up. My overall experience thou is that if I go back to Samui and Chaweng than I would definetively stay at The Villa Beach Resort! Enjoy!

The pool was great. The split level wooden room was okay (somewhat old), and the staff not good. Overall, we felt we paid too much to stay there, but enjoyed ourselves regardless. The beach was very nice, with plenty of things to do.

Perfect location if you want to go out and find out everything you need. In Chaweng Beach are a lot of 7eleven, restaurants, shops, bars, etc. The pool is great with an awesome view on the beach. We slept with category wooden-level and liked a lot to have a kind of living room downstairs, with the sleeping room on top. It let a lot of space for your belongings. However, there is a night club closed to the resort which anoyed us during the night (and we hear the plane's landing and taking off as well). The garden is really cute, but the staff isn't so friendly. They didn't recognize us after 3 nights up there (we expect more service quality).

This is my 2nd time here, I love this place. The new pool is huge, location is perfect. I had the small 2 story room, it is a little noisy as the wood is a little old but me and my friends loved it. The staff was great and breakfast good. I will stay here again if i return.

Been there for 13 nights. Will never go back to this hotel. The tropical garden was not there. The beds were so hard that our bodys were killing us in the morning (also the to big pillows)- and when we asked for 3 ekstra blankets to lie on on the bed to soften it - it took the hotelservice 4 days before they had the time to come with the blankets. The poolbar (in the water) was never open and the pools were diskusting. The food in the restaurants were not to eat!We never come back!

I went to Samui with my girl friend. We went there for 6 days, and we spent our first 2 nights at wooden villa of Chaweng Villa Beach Resort. And we spent the rest of nights at Evergreen Resort. The biggest let down of Chaweng Villa Beach Resort was the renovation undertaking beside the pool and restaurant area. The noise from the construction area is so irritating while we were having breakfast and enjoying the pool. The wooden villa consist of 2 floors. Lower floor consist of living room, shower and place for washing. Upper floor is only half the capacity of lower floor, and consist of sleeping area only. We have to climb up wooden stair to reach our bed. It is not a good idea for party people, as i had to bring my gf on my back, climbed up the stairs, when she got drunk on the 1st night. The wooden villa is in very old condition, and the wooden floor making noises when we moved around. The wardrobe is so old, we didn't use it at all. And there is no safe deposit in the room. The only safe deposit is located next to the receptionist. So, we have to approach the receptionist every time we want to use the safe, which is very inconvenience. Nonetheless, great breakfast was provided, with variety of eggs and breads. The pool was okay as well, you can see the beautiful beach from the pool area. Compare to the other hotel that we stayed (Evergreen Resort), Chaweng Villa Beach Resort is comparatively weak in terms of the room, facilities and pricing. Chaweng Villa Beach Resort will not be my first choice, if i visit Samui again.

SiamWebHosting booking system is good, the customer service always response on time, and even sent sms notification for the bookings. I do not have any problem throughout the whole booking process. However, I do have a complain about SiamWebHosting. The biggest disappointment of the whole trip was during our visit to SiamWebHosting IT complex. I understand that i can enjoy free internet service at IT complex if i made booking thru SiamWebHosting. However, when we visited to the IT complex, we were not welcomed at all. The attitude of the receptionist was very bad and not helpful. We did not have our reservation number in hand, the receptionist was not willing to help us to check, and treated us rudely. Eventually, we left in great dissatisfaction. I do not think this is a good way to treat a 1st time customer who trusted in SiamWebHosting service, and made all hotel bookings thru SiamWebHosting. I really hope this can be look into and improve the service level.

Stay clear of this place - the security the rooms with sliding doors is appalling - I had $600.00 stolen from my wallet. The worst part is the they entered the room while I was sleeping. When we checked in we questioned how secure the room was - perhaps it gave them and idea! The attitude of the front desk staff is dreadful. The manager chuckled when we told him of the robbery. There are many good places and people in Samui - so stay clear of this place.

We arrived at the hotel after a week of luxury in Bangkok - and was hoping for a very nice room, judging by the pictures found of the hotel on the internet.. We were in for a big surprise :( We had booked a reasonable room in 2 stories (1st floor and a balcony for sleeping). Unfortunately, the picture we had booked the room because of - wasnt even close to the standard that we had expected.. On the contrary - it was worn down.. Judging from my backpacking days, I would say its a good place for that sort of travelling - but if your looking for a nice and luxuruious stay, then I would recommend Chaweng Villa. When thats said, we had a lovely time there (outside the room). The breakfast was average and ok, the pool was clean and nice (not big, but ok) - it had 2 areas to it. One where u could have your baby with you (about 40cm deep or so) and the normal area for adults. The service of the hotel was great - like any other place in Thailand :) Nothing to say about that.. There was even a fantastic friendly tour organiser that helped with transfers, boat trips, restaurant bookings etc. Im sure he's getting his commission - but he was really helpfull :)

Hotel is close to the animated part of Chaweng beach, but far enough, not to be disturbed by the noisy nightlife. I was in a gardenview bungalow. Room size is OK and well furnished, but the bathroom is a bit small and deserve a little renovation as it's made of wood. Every day service is OK, clean shits and towels. Never had breakfast, so I can't tell if it's good or not. I would say this place is good value for money. That was my second stay in this hotel, and I'll surely stay there a third time if I come back.

Very nice lowbudget bungalows. Old standard but ok for that price. The location is great and the garden was very nice. The tide water was very low i June on the north end of Chaweng but it was not far to walk to the south end. The sand is white and the water i crystalclear, very good beach! The pool is very small, only room for a few people at the time, swimming is not possible.

Great ppl indeed! If you are nice to them, they will try their best to help you out. Wooden level was a bit too old and little for us, so we changed to garden view delux, it was bit old, but clean and plesent stay. Swiming pool was a bit small, bt hey wat a view!!! locaation was great. breaki was good. tours are AWESOMEEEEEEEEEEE!!! love those delightful guides. special thanks to tour organiser Mr. Ting,He is a good man and always helpful thought our entire stay!!! Definitly go back again.

It's a terrible holiday.When we reached this hotel,because of a little thing,the taxi driver hit my boyfriend!!!It's so horrible,the hotel stuff didn't do anything and rejected to call police,although we were injuried .We spent 3 days in the hotel,my mother lost 3 pic Chanel mask!!When we come back in the second evening,our room's window has been open!!But we lock it before we go outside.So terrible,if you want to loss your things,if you want to feel angry,if when you need help,no one do only laugh at you and concern about their local villian,if you want to feel these,please live in this hotel.Or ,please ,please change anothe hotel .I feel it is a hotel which full with thief and villian,they don't know what is service,they only concern about money. By the way,when we left this hotel,a man suddenly go outside from their frontdesk ,he wantted us to use his car to go to our destination with a very expensive price,when we rejected him,he said two words :get out !! It's amust be the worst hotel in Samui .

geneal condition of the place was fair rooms were a bit old bathroom was dirty and water tend to get clogged after bathing had a bad experience with rums,i generally dont like ground floor rums and i was given one when i specificaaly asked for a rum on t5he 2nd floor with a balcony..... food at seaside cafe was superb wil not stay here again in future until they renovate the property had to pay extra 300 baht for late check out,whereas in big hotels around the world they are obliging to extend check out up to 3 o clock besides that,the staff also were not too friendly.....

Resort was fine. Good value for money/middle of the road resort. Rooms spacious enough. Resort very central. Only areas that needs some attention are 1. bathrooms needs a facelift (was not very clean). 2. Was very dissappointed in the new years eve party. 3. Breakfast not great. Will definitely go back and stay at this resort, if above 3 points can be looked into.

The hotel was in a great location on the beach, the room was basic but good, cleaned all the time to a very good standard, the free breakfast was basic at times, cold when should be hot is the only problem i had. Most of the guests seem to be german, this posed a problem when wanting to sit by the pool as most of the chairs were taken in advance.... very frustrating when you are unaware of this cultural trait...however is an ulright hotel for the price, their are nicer places further along if you would like to pay a little more.

stayed in the two bed bungalow; comfortable room; loved the porch. water preasure a little low but survived that. perfect location with great beach; massages good; great food in front and back restaurants, breakfast outstanding. very good price. Staff very eager to make all comfortable particularly the beach restaurant and bar guys who doubled as beach chair locators and umbrella placers. grounds and beach clean, cleaner than many nearby places.

The rooms were nice and our check in was warm and we felt very welcome. The room shower was the best part. The breakfast was not up to expectations as there was very little choice. On checking out we had a bad experience as we inquired to extand our stay and ask what were the rates. To our suprise the rates were increased. Even when the manager come in and said he hgives us a special discount the rates were higher than our first nite. you can guess, we left.

All was ok and nice. They were kind to accomodate my frequent date changes. The downside was the airport pickup i requested never came. When i called , was informed to wait for a while. A guy from hotel said he can pick us up but need to wait for another couple. Waited for 30 minutes, then took an outside taxi service. It was cheaper and ready to move immeduiately.
