Rooms are nice enough as well as garden Staff is so so. Some nice and some rude. Food was good but a bit expensive for portion size as it is small even by Thai standards. Resort a bit out of the way and it is a saengthow ride either way to a town. Do not recommend laundry service as blatantly overcharged.

The hotel is not on the beach as I thought and when you walk arounf the reosrt and down to the beach it isn't very nice ( there is glass all over the beach ). The rooms were fine but the seaview room doesn't have a seaview. It does have a very pretty garden and they have made the place look very pretty. Not a bad place but there are much better options on the island.

The staff were very friendly and helpfull. The room was nice, clean and quiet. The garden is beautiful! The beach is not too good for swim, but you can rent a motorbike or car at the hotel, so every facilities are available in the island easily. Price, value for money is very good.

The toilet did not fluch properly an there was little water pressure for a shower; no in room safe an no on spoke English so was very difficult to even order a drink; the resturant shut at 6.00pm. Not a resort but B&B

In this hotel staf only thinks about money everytime... We need help to know de pier ofo our ferry and in reception say us that they could call to ask but we have to pay 30 bahts... Everything in this line...

Super lugnt område. Fina bungalows, rent och frächt. Bra wifi, runt 40 tv-kanaler. Ca 3 km till Nathon, kostar ca 50 bath med Songthaew, flakbil som går runt ön. Ingen beach dock, ren o fin pool. Finns beach i Nathon. Äker gärna hit igen,tillbringade 7 nätter här.

We had a wonderful holiday on Samui thanks to Baan Bai Fern hotel and their kind staff. The hotel is on the quiet side of the island and it is perfect for peace loving people. The restaurant serves thai and western food. We appreciated their tuna sandwiches as their chicken curry. The pool is better for swimming than their beach wich is too shallow. During 12 days stay on peak season we had the pool always only for our selves. There are also vip bungalowes with private pool and jaccuzi. Ours was a superior sea view and it was all we needed, nothing to complain, only good memories. I have never seen a tropical garden as lovely as in Baan Bai Fern. Bravo to their busy gardener who nevertheless always had the time to smile and say hello. I highly recommend this hotel to all peacefull holiday and nature lovers.

Замечательный отель для тихого уединенного семейного отдыха.Жили там неделю в отдельном доме с террассой.Очень чистая и красивая территория,много зелени.Отель расположен в 7 мин езды до Натона,пешком мин 40.Добрый вежливый персонал.Один небольшой бассейн,но чистый.Пляж в 5 мин ходьбы от отеля,купались немного дальше от своего,т.к.дно не очень.На территории есть маленький ресторан,где можно вкусно и недорого поесть.В доме плетеная мебель,ТВ,холод-к,нет чайника.Все супер.За неделю заплатили за дом 5 тыс.руб.

Rooms are clean, but have a ants in bathroom. Territory is very good, nice pool. Location only for people who loves loneliness. There is nothing near the hotel - neither restaurants, no massages. Beach leaves much to be desired.

This is a lovely, well kept resort with beautiful gardens amd comfortable, clean rooms. It is a place to go and relax, it's very quiet and different to the busier Chaweng on the East. The staff were keen to please, although had limited English. The transfer rates (e.g. to the ferry port) are also very high; but getting an independent, passing taxi is difficult at any time of the day.

Best $25 hotel ever! We were so pleased with our stay at Baan Bai Fern. We had originally planned to stay one or two nights and then go to a quieter island like Ko Pha Ngan (not the full moon party part), but we liked it so much, we decided to stay for the whole week! The rooms--and the whole place really--are SO romantic and comfortable. You get an entire villa to yourself, and the garden view is a tropical paradise. The gardens are lush, the sunset view is great, and the cafe serves some tasty dishes. And the staff are so sweet. The beach is rocky in spots, but when the tide comes in a little bit, there's shallow water for a hundred yards out to sea, and it's really great for walking in or taking pictures of the clear, turquoise water. You do have to hop in the back of a pick-up truck to get anywhere, but to us, that was part of the appeal. We love being away from it all. We tried to figure out how to stay longer, but the penalty fees on an economy ticket are as much as the ticket. We should have stayed anyway. Plan at least 10 days if you go. Oh, and there's a great BBQ place just a little down the road towards Nathon--it's fantastic--all the locals eat there. In short, we hope you like it as much as we did. It's not the Ritz, but an excellent substitute (and knowing you re only paying 800 Baht gives you peace of mind, too!)

I had a wonderful 3 days at Baan Bai Fern Resort Ko Samui. It was so peaceful, relaxing and quiet. The west coast of Ko Samui does not have all the hype and tourist business of the East coast and is a good place to go to if you do want peace. I was well fed, well cared for and well looked after by the very attentive staff. I travelled on my own and could not fault staff. I was able to order a massage and a Thai lady came to the resort and gave me the best massage. The swimming pool was bliss as I basically had it to myself. I did not have to leave the resort for anything as it was a complete rest that I was after amd I was not disappointed. I would definitely recommend it to anyone wanting a nice quiet break.

the hotel was very good the rooms were clean the garden was marvelous beatifull swimming pool and the place arroud this very good for the money you spend to live there Most of people that worked there trying to help us but the only bad thihk was that the communication with them was not so easy becouse of not good english but this is general at samui.We will want to thank the boy that was working night time at reception desk for everyhing he did to help us and for his kindness.

We had a great stay here. Excellent place , cabins were spotless with great facilities. The staff were really friendly and welcoming. It is a little bit out of the way but easy enough to get a bus into places to eat etc. The pool was great would definitely recommend it.

My wife and I stayed for 1 night only as we were travelling to Koh Tao next morning. We found this resort very quiet and peaceful and room was fair value for the price. Staff were very helpful, although unlike the bigger hotels, English was very very limited. Beach unfortunately is in a little bit of a mess due to construction of beach front villas. The Hotel gardens are however very nice. If you are looking for something very quiet or a stopover on a budget this hotel is in all fairness fine.

Good but remote. Rooms are excellent, clean and well kept, grounds are well kept & interesting. This is NOT a beach facing resort and the beach is poor at best with no access from the resort. If you are content with a small swimming pool only then this will be OK for you. Prices are average.

We stayed here six nights and the weather could have been better. Cloudy and rainy.The bungalow was lovely. Nice pool as seen on the pictures. A very nice garden and very friendly staff. Here it´s quit and calm but not far from Chaweng coast( 20 min by car). Recommended for familys with small children. Close to Nathon where it´s very cheap.

Just spend a day in this resort after I spend two days in chaweng. Here is the opinion: good: Big room. Very quite resort with a lot of plants. Suitable for people who want to completely take a break from hustle and bustle. bad: the beach is not suitable for swim. Some construction work is progressing outside the beach. No restaurant and supermarket within a walking district. People who want to live in this resort must rent a car first.

We only stayed here 2 nights but the bungalow was lovely. The setting was lovely too. The facilities were good but as we were the only 2 staying there the massage wasnt available on the same day had to book for the next day, also the restaurant wasnt always open but if you walk down the road to Na Thon there are a couple of nice restaurants. They second one down is the nicest and sooo cheap had a huge fish steak dinner with rice and stuff, my friend had a curry we both had drinks and it was 250 baht!! Na Thon itself is quite a way, but the Baan Bai Fern do operate a very good taxi service, a very sweet lady comes to pick you up and will arrange to take you back. It is worth spending the day in Na Thon as the food in town is also cheap, you can arrange ferry transfers, the pharmacy is very good, and the shopping is amazing. Bartering!!
