Our beachside restaurant is open from 8am until 2 in the morning, you
can feed on our excellent choice of Thai or European food. Our offerings
include all day full English breakfast, Lunch, Snacks and Dinner. We
particularly pride ourselves on both the standard of preparation and
presentation of our food. At sunset we prepare a romantic setting on
the beach, overlooking the beautiful bay of Chaweng.
Our Chef prepares a buffet which includes freshly caught prawns, lobsters,
squid, shell-fish, crabs, plus many other varieties. At night you are
invited to join us for a romantic dinner full of eastern promise under
a moonlight setting on our beach. Just choose something from our buffet

Ark Bar Beach Hotel is located right in the center on the white sandy Chaweng Beach and in the hub of all nightlife and shopping facilities. Stayed in a good sized 2nd floor junior suite 100m from the waters edge and 60m from the nearest pool . Big comfortable bed , rain shower and couldn't hear a thing at night once all doors closed . The place to be if you enjoy a swim-up pool bar ( there are 2 others also ) lazy chill music good service , whether on the beach loungers or poolside during the day and a good atmosphere at night . Free beach party on Wed. and Friday nights and a stroll to nightlife/restaurants/massage/shopping/transport/bars if you fancy a change from the 4 bars and restaurants of The Ark Bar . Would love to stay in a similar room again . great value for money . Recommend .

This hotel is great for people aged 18 - 28. It has 2 amazing pools, one with a swim up bar. They have a live DJ playing daily in the arvo. Great pool parties on Sunday and Fridays. I hightly recommend this Hotel. It is right on the beach and in a beautiful location. Close to everything. The staff are very friendly as well. We would definetly return.

Had a great time at Ark Bar, we were in a Junior suite at Ark Bar 3(these seemed to be the nicest from pics,and did not dissapoint!) staff all very pleasant, towels and sheets changed everyday. We expected it to rain alot seeing as it was the beginning of November- it rained twice,for about 5 minutes each time, other than that the weather was fantastic! Plenty of things to do during your holiday, although people trying to lure you into their shops/taxis on Chaweng Beach Road is extremely annoying. This hotel is in a great location,very central and a stones throw from the beach- I d go as far as saying it's the place to be on Koh Samui, think it's more an institution than a hotel...everybody knows Ark Bar! Would definitely pay another visit here :)

My main concern was wether the wi-fi was going to be reliable as I needed internet for business purposes, and this surpassed my expectations without fail. Well done!! stannade här i 10 dagar, och det är ett mycket trevligt hotell, med ös hela dagen och kvällen.. så nära stranden, du äter din frukost 50 m från den. du kan även gå längs med stranden och njuta av andra hotells serveringar på stranden.. på kvällarna drar alla sig in på den livliga gatan genom byn... där finns ALLT... shopping, mat, massage, barer, apotek, 7eleven, mcdonald, burger king, subway,pizzeria, mm.. och du bor nära till allt detta. finns bara gott och säga om ark bar, och hit vill jag och min familj igen..

The room (Junior Suite) was exactly as shown in in the pictures (cosy, stylish and clean) but unfortunatley, the windows/sliding doors were unable to absorbe all the noises (espec. party music) from the giant beach bar which made it almost impossible to sleep. Hence, I would recommend the hotel (without any hesitation) only to those seeking long party nights amongst tourist crowds...

An OK room for start of the holiday but ruined by an adjoining door to the next room when the guest next door was very noisy and obnoxious one night. However the security tried to stop it but could not. We did get a free upgrade to a much better room - I would recommend this hotel but go for the expensive rooms. The bar itself is fantastic with excellent staff and delicious food.

We booked this hotel thinking it will be spacious and booked sea facing. But on arrival to our horror rooms were extremely small and no sea view room was available. Staff refused to give any other room. It is very noisy as in the middle of the happening nightlife. This hotel is only for those who only wants to party all day long n crash. but not for honeymooners like us. They have beach party but would not like to stay in the rrom neither itz romantic. We checked out the next day.

Although the very bad wheather conditions the stuff did its best to support the guests.Appreciating very much the free airport service, the reasonable room and foodprices as well as the service and very friendl stuff.. I liked the atmosphere at Ark Bar 1. A very good place for younger people interested in night life. But when checking in I ve had to deposit a key refund of €25,-- in cash, which I haven't got back while checking out. I ve mailed a request for a reimbursement via my credit card, but without any respond so far.

small hotel territory, swimming pool close at 8 in the evening.VERY Rude and lazy staff. Poor breakfast. Restaurant is not so good but rather expensive. very, very, very noisy. If you re going to sleep at night you can do it only about at 3 in the morning. we left at 7 a.m. and they didn't gave us our prepaid lunch-box, though they promised the day before. high appraisal is on siameservices.com service doesn't correspond to the facts.

Great location in the middle of the action on great section of the beach, good food, nice beach front dinners, the room we had I felt was bit too expensive and very small especially the bathroom, stayed for 7 nights and no issues with the hotel. It is on the best beach of those we visited on the island so I recommend this area and the hotel for sure.

We staid in superior room and the room was ok but the bed and towels was very dirty. The room was located on ground floor wich was vary noisy when people was getting after partying the whole night. We stayd for only one night and will never go back.

Ark Bar was a fantastic place to stay for us. It is located in the heart of the Chaweng Beach party precinct, and the rooms are well serviced....not to mention close to brand new. The staff were also very helpful, booking us taxi's for airport transfers, aswell as making sure our laundry was done as quickly as possible.

I found the new manager to be extremely unhelpful and rather rude as my sister who has stayed at Ark Bar several times had proved she had made a booking but there was no record of any such booking and as a result, the manager did not help at all or offer any apologies or alternate suggestions on what could be done. On a separate note, I don't like what they have done with consolidating the Ark Bar with several other hotels. It was a very different stay for me this time. The atmosphere of the place wasn't the same and the food was nowhere near as good as usual but I'll go back, simply to find out that this was a one off experience where I didn't enjoy it or whether I will be looking for a new place to stay in Chaweng.

Very nice Hotel on a good location in Chaweng. Just in the middle off the beach. Everything is around between 200 meters off the Hotel. Also the longe music with life DJ on the wednesday whas very good. Saw some movies on You Tube. Hotel room not big but everything is in it, good working airco and television, in house safe. perhaps the breakfast is a little bit poor and every day the same. Also it can bother some people about the planes which come over every our very low because off the runway is at the back off the otel.

Hotel was in a central location the room was good value for money although bench space in bathroom was very limited.Hotel was located off the main road which was great for noise reduction and the restaurant provided great breakfast.Easy access to beach and bike hire near reception was conveniant.
