Гостиница очень хорошее, брали Delux, хорошие номера с видом на бассейн, все что нужно в номере есть. Нам понадобился утюг, его в месте с доской принесли и не забирали пока мы не уехали. Полотенца и бельё меняли ежедневно, уборка хорошая, персонал супер, приветливый и улыбчивый. Самый большей плюс это расположение, по прямой три минуты и ту у моря. Спасибо большее персоналу нам очень понравилось.

Бронирование лёгкое, выбрал гостиницу и номер, потом вводишь номер карты (лучше с мастер карт)и через короткое время присылают ваучер на твое имя и все с этим ваучером и паспортом подходишь на ресепшен и все ты уже в номере.

It's a very nice hotel, clean and with friendly staff. It's quite and only 2 minutes walking distance from the beach. We can totally recommend this hotel and we had a very good time there. It's also great that you have free wifi in every room.

Great vacation, nice friendly staff,service with a smile. Love the location to all the great restarants and night life. Walking distance to everything. negatives were that non-smoking rooms smelled like smoke. Elevators were too small but for the price and location would stay there again.

The resort was close to the beach and also close to places to eat. There were many Europeans that didn't speak English. Breakfast there wasn't much variety in the 2 weeks that we stayed. The beds were like sleeping on a brick. Did ask for a soft top bed but they only put a blanket on the bottem. We stayed in a pool access room and it was very noisy. people swimming at midnight. Even though its not busy they will charge you for every hour past midday that you check out. our leaving time was 2pm. The free internet was poor and slow. we couldn't connect with our own computer even though they gave us the pass word. You had to use there computers to connect to the internet and it was slow.

We booked this hotel based upon its reviews and recomendations through both sawasdee.com and tripadvisor. It did not however meet up to expectations, I guess this is the hazard of reading glowing reviews, you get your hopes up. On arrival the staff were professional, but largely unfriendly/unsmiling which was surprising when compared with our past stays in thailand, however the welcome drink was refreshing. The room was a good size, with seperate bath and shower which is nice, supplied with in room safe, free daily water, coffee tea making facilities. The lovely pink feature wall was water stained roof to bed height from what appeared to be a leak from the room above at some time. The bathroom fixtures (shower and bath) at one time I believe would have been chromed, but over time and cleaning (I imagine) were tarnished flaking and rusted, resulting in an akward multi directional shower spray. The pool is small but adequate, however placed within the centre of the hotel so is shaded for much of the day by the buildings, hard for tanning purposes ;) also while we were there the water had a greasy film visible flaoting on the water so we only used the actual pool once and promptly got out on seeing this. Luckily the hotel is centrally located within kata beach with a short 5 min walk to the beach, and a 3min walk to main road, 7/11 s, taxi/tuktuks, restaraunts, and most importantly banana pancake vendors. Breakfast was fine - simmilar fare daily, selection of cereals, cooked meals, eggs on request etc... and only a very short walk not at all an inconvenience. We only stayed the nights booked through sawasdee and then found another hotel that we were happier with at the same cost. The things I have to complain about probably wouldnt have been such an issue had I not expected more, we have stayed in and enjoyed other hotels listed on sawasdee within kata beach - with lower ratings/feedback than the sugar palm so we were expecting something a cut above, sadly we ended up back at one of the other locations.

Fantastic place to stay, in the hub of kata beach close to the beach and surrounded by many places to eat. Vry clean and comfortable rooms and friendly staff. We had a room with balcony that overlooked the street, great for people watching and not too noisy either.

優點:酒店位置超方便,2分鐘唔使便到海灘,房間夠大夠舒服,酒店免費wifi都幾快,酒店杯welcome drink好好飲~~ 缺點:停車場太細,酒店泳池比房間圍住搞到太陽哂唔到,早餐太一般兼餐廳太多蒼蠅和蜜蜂(尤其果砵果jam)見到都唔敢食,另外在房內千萬不要放已開口食物過夜,否則會引來超多螞蟻

A good place to stay if the room is poolside. If not, you may be over some street noise from shops along the drive up to the hotel. I had a bad light bulb that was not fixed while I was there, and I did mention it to staff. Nice bathrooms, good bed, good TV with limited stations. Staff were friendly. Good breakfast buffet. Coffee shop is good for people watching in the evenings. Although their web site says there is a shuttle to the airport, it is not free, cost 900 baht.

Unfortunately, this hotel did not measure up with our expectations. Our room seemed to be nice at first glance however after a few minutes we became aware of houndreds of ants near by the balcony. We called the reception to tell them we had insects in our room. A few minutes later a very unfriendly staff member came in spraying anti-insect spray into our room. We went down to see the reception staff to tell them we can't occupy our room because of the smell of the spray. They told us not to enter the room for about 2 hours and then we should be fine. It was 8 o clock at night and we did not want to go anywhere so we told them that it was not our problem to have ants in our room and that we would like to have another one. They told us they were booked out. Well, we were starting to get quite angry so that suddenly there was a room available for us....end of story is that we got the other room but we had to change rooms again the next day. we just felt like being treated very rudely, which was a very new thai- experience...additionally the location is not very good, the only exception are some nice restaurants in the neighbourhood. We would not stay there again!

The hotel was more than we expected from a 3 star hotel. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. The staff was very helpful and kind. As for location it was very convenient, if you want to reach the beach in 2 minutes. You can hire a motorbike from the hotel and visit every spot of the island. If you are someone like me who doesn't want to think about what to eat and search for a place for breakfast, the breakfast served in the hotel can satisfy you. Otherwise it is the same stuff every morning.

Sawasdee was the best choice, we got what we asked for. The transportation service, which is an exception from other travel and booking websites, was excellent with aircon and smooth music.

We had an opportunity to check the quality of two hotels from Kata network - Sugar Palm Resort & Spa and Sugar Palm Grand Hillside. If you want to have a more relaxed & secluded vacation, you want to choose Grand Hillside: nice view, a fresher air due to elevated location yet rather specific Spartan interior. Also, it's rather hard to go uphill for children and elderly. The only bad thing about Sugar Palm Resort & Spa is a poor sound isolation. If someone decides to splash in pool during daytime, you'll hardly get your after-dinner nap. The breakfast is better than that in Hillside - soups are very good, two types every morning and never repeat throughout the week. The reason for this is the the breakfast is being done in Mali restaurant. We would recommend you Mali for dinners for their quality & pricing. Have a nice vacation!

Stayed in the poolside access room and really enjoyed it. The only gripe with the pool is that it wasn't large or deep but that is a minor issue. The staff were very friendly and always smiled, and they even booked my accommodation at the Sugar Palm Karon Beach Resort via phone for me (Kata Beach and the Sugar Palm Kata Resort is nicer than Karon beach and the resort there). Very convenient for the beach, restaurants, banks. All in all good value, good staff and great location and would not hesitate to return.

The transfer from the airport to the resort that I booked through the siamwebhosting website was a rip-off. Taxis at the airport were charging half what I paid.

Nice small hotel and great value for money with the current low season discounts (July). My travelling buddies and I all loved the pool access room , straight from the balcony into the pool. Comfortable bed. Location is great for Kata, only 3 minutes walk to the beach. Only a handful of tv channels, but a DVD player in the room. Beach was a bit rough at this time of year (good if you like a bit of surfing though). Ate some really ordinary food at the nearby restaurant (not Sugar Palms Mali but the other one across the laneway). Good massage just outside the reception area. Good place to stay for a few nights before heading over to Phi Phi

Tidigare har jag bott på det närliggande hotellet Sugar Palm Grand Hillside. Jämför man dessa hotell är skillnaden enorm. På detta hotell är rummen långt i från lika fräscha och moderna. Man betalar mycket mer för boendet. Vid frukostbuffén flyger det in fåglar och knaprar åt sig föda, utan att personalen vidtar några som helst åtgärder. Vissa grejer var dock täckta med lock, men mot bakgrund av de återkommande fåglarna, borde alla maträtter vara täckta med lock så att fåglarna inte ens kom åt slevarna som man tog maten med. Under vistelsen hade de gratis WiFi. Brukar kosta, men detta bjuder de kanske på under lågsäsongen? Bastun och hissen var trasig. Hissen lagades påföljande dag. Ångbastun var inte på under de tider den skulle vara på. Kommer ej tillbaka till detta hotell mer.

This hotel has a great location. Whilst it is trying to promote itself as a place for chic couples to chill, independent families can still use it as a base close to the beach and Kata centre. If you are a family expecting a resort-style hotel with all sorts of child-friendly entertainments laid on, large pool and sitting area - don't come here.

My husband and I with our 4 children and 5 grandchildren stayed here for 10 days in that time we found it was excellent when the airconditioner leaked and we rang for a maintence man honestly he was there with in 5 minutes we will stay again if ever we go to thailand again also at$34 a day per room you couldnt ask for better.The location was wonderful to shops,beach anything you wanted

Fabulous hotel with great rooms and facilities. Trendy, modern style throughout and great service to match. It's in a good location (only 3 mins walk to the beach, if that!) and the pool and spa pool are great substitutes if you re feeling a bit lazy. Really good value for money, only downside was beds a bit hard and water pressure kind of low - but I ve found both of these to be pretty common throughout Thailand. Overall, my experience was better than expected and would definitely recommend to friends and family. Thanks Sugar Palm!!!

The hotel is nice but it shows that they don't keep up with renovations. The staff was mostly helpful but at check-in they delayed us for almost an hour, and at check-out thay had charged us for items in the minibar that we had not taken and they refused to admit that they had made a mistake. The receptionists were VERY RUDE!!! Also, the pool-access rooms have no steps or ladder from the terrace so if you re not young and fit you should not expect to be able to get back onto your terrace directly from the pool. About 1,5 meters deep closest to the terraces.

Not happy at all as my bag was detained from me for 20mins while they checked my room and the lady on the front deak was not helpfull at all plus I was treated in a threatning manner and almost missed my flight.The taxi driver was upset over being held up for 20min which made it an unpleasent experiance.I would not recomend this place to anyone if they retain the same staff.

erstklassiges hotel für wenig geld ( ende märz ).lage zum schönsten strand super,keine 5 minuten...personal war sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich,besonders die beiden jungs vom empfang/concierge.zimmer sind riesig(deluxe)und sauber und gepflegt.tipp zum essen ist das mali restaurant direkt am resort.gehört zum sugar und hat erstklassiges essen.preise auf jeden fall gerechtfertigt im gegensatz zu manch anderen steak house einrichtungen.alles in allem zum erholen und geniessen ein super fleck auf phuket und sehr gutes hotel.

Hello, In general we had a fantastis vacation - nice staff, food and accomodation. But - on the day of our departure we had a few things that made us angry... When we checked out the clerk claimed we had used the minibar (mineral-water) in room 3313...not true! We never touched it! And when i tried to explain to the clerk about it he told me that had had misunderstood somethinf and that i had to pay... And - we ordered 2 vans for transfer to the airport, and we had already paid for them... but only 1 van showed up!! Not a good way to leave at all... Very nice hotel. Rooms, service and breakfast all of a good standard. Pool cool, clean and refreshing. Limited TV stations (Phuket Island View had many more!) but not much time for that! Free DVD's was a nice touch - we found a few of interest. Good location right in the main area of Kata - Beach, shops and good restaurants close by. Good in hotel: small hotel near to a beach, beautiful pure rooms, the friendly personnel. The bad: balconies opposite each other, cleaning in number during inconvenient time, the bad account - for a can of beer from a minibar to me was necessary to pay twice, a poor breakfast. The sea on beach Ката is delightful.

This hotel provides luxurious rooms. The pictures on the website are not exaggerating, the rooms are quite nice. The breakfast is good and its just a 2-3 minutes walk to the beach. The pool was a little cold when we tried it. I would recomend this hotel if you travel with children because of the distance to the beach and the calm suroundings, although there is a heavily trafficed road to pass on the way to the beach.

Great Hotel! just as in the pictures they published on the internet. only 5 minutes walk to the greatest beach in phuket. from my travel on patong-karon-kata. kata is the best location for beach-goers. hotel room is very update - chic and contemporary. but the age of the hotel is starting to show in these rooms. you still get the old-style flurry; blanket instead of a doona. the dvd rentals are great if you do not understand half of the language on TV. swimming pool is very clean and nice for a plunge in the afternoon. overall, will certainly come back if they can keep the standards of the room next year.

My second stay here (first one in 2006 when it just started operation) A very nice hotel. Clean,cute and very helpful staff. Free wifi, free desktop for public use, free Vedio (DVD player in room). The Spa is also very nice with promotion rate (buy one get one free for some packages) or coupon of 800 B for all hotel guests. Hotel is not on beachfront, but 2 mins walk to beach.

This hotel has lost its quality from waht it was before. We have stayed here 3 times before and were very pleased but this time we felt that it was the last time. From our poolaccess room there was a connected door to another room where we could see our nabour walking in the room. Also heard everyting what they said. The cleaning isn´t good anymore. Our daughter had lots of insects in their poolview room. We had a rat behind the tv every night. The breakfast wasn´t the same anymore.Staff have lost their thai hospitality.It was very noisy and can not reach the points it had only a year ago. Quantity more than quality actually....We moved out earlier

This hotel was great. It is very close to the beach, has a lot of activity nearby, and has a clean pool and rooms. I ve been here in SE asia for 2 weeks now, staying at 5 different hotels and Sugar Palm was the best of the 5. It had a bath tub, balcony, new fixtures, and nice staff that spoke english sufficiently. Also it was nice to have free internet and a decent breakfast (although it was the standard here, which one gets sick of). I d definitely stay at SP again, assuming I wanted to go to Kata beach.

This is a hotel that we like very much and been to before. Kata beach has been made more for tourists than last year but still is our favourite. This hotel is a very nice, a bit businesslike with dark wood and strikt but very comfy, both standard and delux (that of course is even better). The breakfast is good, the personal is professional and the pool is nice. The hotel is close to the beach (2min walk).

Whilst the room was nice, the service at this hotel was terrible. The safety deposit box broke and the staff expected tips at every point. Not the usual Thai friendly style and service. The pictures on the Sugar Palm website are pretty misleading. Its entrance requires you to travel through a tacky and noisy strip mall which dumps you to a an open front desk. Due to the number of massage palors leading to the entrance/follier of the hotel, many working girls congregate in front of the inn. The entrance is completely open, allowing anyone to wonder through the multiple levels of the hotel. This hotel is noisy, dirty, loud and the limited amount of English the front desk speaks makes the most simple of request almost impossible. From our exploration, we found many more desirable options in Karon Beach.

Poolview rooms are very nice. Good location with easy access to Kata beach which is very nice. The pool is cold and small and almost no sun there? Nice breakfastbuffet with a lot to choose from. They tried to rip us up at the front desk when we wanted to go to Kamala with a taxi. Much cheaper just outside the hotel. Laundryservice was very slow (two days). We can recommend this hotel for the rooms and location.

This hotel has a very pretty pool area.The rooms are large. The only problem we encountered was the toilet didn't always work properly. We needed to report it 3 times. It would work for awhile but then the problem would return. Staff was both friendly and helpful. The breakfast was varied enough that I think most travelers would find something they liked. The location of the hotel made it easy to access the beach, other restaurants,shops and bars.

We stayed in a deluxe pool room. Resort is very stylish, rooms are big, nice bathroom. Only negative is that the room/balcony is not very private as everybody on the other side of the resort can see you. Nice pool area, but no sun there. Shouldn't matter though since the resort is perfectly located near the main access road to the beach. The restaurant has very good and cheap fresh seafood and breakfast was also very good.

Very good resort. We stayed 13 nights at de luxe pool room. Both bathroom and room was very big and nice. Cleaning was fine.Breakfast was very good. Swimmingpool was ok, but only about 10 sunchairs and the area about pool not very big. Only about 100 m to the beach and 0 m to city center. The resort is very quiet even it was clote city center. Staff were very kindly. We were very satisfied and will be back again next year.

Good Welcome And was Allocated one Of there Stuido Flats. it Was just one step away From the Front Reception But wqe Felt it was better as we flet as if we were. living in our own flat.. The stuido was well kitted out with flat screen tv and dvd all on wall mounted. had seperate bath and shower lots of room large fridge. and microwave. own baloncy we could not ask for more massage palour was right at our feet below us.. the hotel breakfast was great too. serving both european and local dishes.. also you have free steam room and sanua.. which finish our days.. there was free internet but the only thing was the server didn't work all time we tried and i saw serval guest having same problem... the pool was shaded which was a let down but we spent most of the time on the beach which is only 100mertes away.. but all in all it was great there and i would recomend it.. we had christmas and the new years.and have no regrets i would give it 8 out of 10
