Very nice location and helpful staffs. Just 10-15 minutes to the Patong Beach on feet, quiet at night, the building is one of the tallest in the town, so you may have a very wonderful looking of the whole island through the bar on the high floor of this hotel. There is one beautiful and quiet walking-street in front of this hotel, which has lots of nice massage shops. There is also one local restaurant on this street where you may find very delicious traditional Thai food in. Will choose this hotel again when I come to Phuket next time.

Do Not, I repeat do not ever book yourself into staying at this terrible hotel. The front desk staff would try all they could to apply a surcharge on your bill when it's time to check out. It's a comfortable hotel, safe & clean, friendly staff, acceptable breakfast. The location of the hotel is good, within a 5mins walking radius, you can practically find anythings under heaven hehe ! Really ! 10mins walk to Jungeceylon(shopping centre), also 10mins to Patong Beach. But remember there plenty of good hotels around, some nearer to the beach, which cost less or about the same. I enjoyed my vacation and the stay at the hotel.

Lovely hotel, could be due for a renovation soon though - the super superior room we had was quite dated but clean and tidy - maybe not quite up to standard for the price paid. I booked 9 superior room at Royal Wing. Before this, i request all the 9 rooms to be at the same floor and non-smoking rooms.As the result, 6 rooms in the same floor and 3 more rooms in the lower level.But we all are still happy with the room arrangement because most of the room are locate at the same floor.Our flight delayed and reached hotel 30 mins late, bt the hotel staff still served us with smile face, and all my family members are happy with the nice welcome drinks.The room just the same with the display picture in the website.The room was great, nice, comfortable,me and my cousin enjoy the bed and the bathtub very much.One of my cousin's bed have some small insect and bite her till her body gt many red dot and make her feel pain,after we told the staff at counter, they send the worker to check immediately nt more than 3 mins to check.And of course, my cousin have very nice sleep in the following night. Its breakfast also have many choices, it was nice. The hotel located at the center of patong beach. Near with lot of restaurant, shopping center,easier for us to get to the nearby .The check out procedure also done in 5 mins although we have 9 rooms.I really like this hotel , and i will be back to Royal Paradise Hotel !

I do not have a good impression of the hotel. I booked 2xsuperior room in the royal wing, which supposed to cost more and bigger in area, due to the noisy music (Boys Club Pub) just opposite the street, i requested to change to paradise wing on the next day. The receptionist attitude wasnt good, i dont mind paying additional cost just to have an enjoyable trip for my family, requested to view the room first to decide either to take superior or deluxe room. Finally we settle in at the deluxe room, front desk girl who handle this upgrading never wear a smile as if i have caused a lots of troubles for her, which i think as a service industry, smiling face is very important. My daughter left her soft toy in the royal wing, and we asked the hotel for assistance. The room wasnt occupy in that night, and they open the door for us, its was neat and tidy on surface, but they never clean the room thoroughly, my daughter soft toy was found inside one of the bed. On surface they looks good, but housekeeping never actually do a detail clean up i feel.The coconut coffee cafe has limited variety on its daily breakfast, and i saw a small cockroach crawing at the porrige counter. In one of the day of my staying, we woke up late, the house keeping will keep knocking at the door request to come in to do her housekeeping, i was having shower, with my tower on to open the door and explain to the chambermaid to come back 10min later. Another day, there was no housekeeping to both of our room, in the afternoon where we returned from coral island dirty and tired, called up for housekeeping, the chambermaid said she ring the bell and no one answer so did not come in to do housekeeping. And we have to empty the room for half an hour for her to do the work despite we are all tired and dirty. Overall my husband and i think in our next return back to phuket we will try out other hotel rather than Royal Paradise.

Could not fault Royal Paradise Hotel. Great location, staff were extremely helpful and always smiling. Breakfast was good and pool area luvly. We had upgraded to a Super Superior room purely because I am quite fussy with bathrooms and we could not fault either the room or the bathroom. The room had wooden floors not carpet which was great and the bathroom was spotlessly clean with piping hot water every single time. The room was cleaned daily and the views were amazing over the hills, the pool area and sea view too. Once again, we could not fault the hotel at all and we would give it 5 out of 5 for value, location, cleanliness and friendly staff.

We stayed in the tower, the rooms very big but needs renovation. Very good location, close to the nightlife and the beach. The staff very friendly. We stayed 3 nites at Royal Paradise. The room is nice and clean. Bath room is also nice & big with bath-tub and shower. The staff is friendly and also upgrade our room to the Royal Wing but the noise from the pubs downstair is very loud with throbbing music even though we are on the 6th floor. The air con is not cold enough even we put it at 18C. Apart from that, we find the hotel very pleasant and staff helpful and friendly.

we were in the hotel for 2 nights 3 days, the first day we arrive earlier than the normal time for checking but the hotel allow us to go to the rooms at 10 am instead at 12pm, the last day they allow us to have late check out and they allow to use the hotel services incluided the SPA room to shower and change clothes before our departure. IT is a very good hotel, very efficiency and friendly service. I would recommend it without any doubt. It overcome our expectations.

This was our first time to stay at the ROYAL PLAZA HOTEL in Phuket- and we will come again for sure! the service was more than exellent, the staff were very very friendly and even remmember our room number evry time we came over. the hotel is the best hotel for gays and for other who want to be ant the center of patong beach! the rooms are very clean, well equipped and have a very lovely design. the pool, gim both of the saunas were great. at breakfirst you could find what ever you want to have- large scale of food good for all. there are no things to say but- IT IS THE BEST HOTEL in patong beach. everything was so good that we didnt want to go back! we recommend this lovely heaven on earth to you all!!!

Hi there, I have to say that the deluxe rooms at the Royal Paradise were exceptional. We had a room that was on the 3rd floor and we looked straight out at the mountains and down to the pool.No other rooms could look directly into ours and the balconys are nice and private.A friend of mine stayed in a Superior room in the main building and the rooms seemed a bit second rate and run down. One issue is that there is a Gay Bar scene directly behind the deluxe room building and they seem to yell and scream all night up to about 2am letting off fireworks etc.They don't seem to care about the guests in the neighbouring hotel.Since we were out late most nights it didn't really affect us, but if you were with your family the noise would be quite disturbing I d imagine. The hotel is about a 10 min walk to Soi Bangla and from there another 5 min walk to Patong Beach.On the main road that runs near the hotel, there are also some small good quality Thai restaurants at reasonable prices as opposed to what you pay down near the beach. There is also a walking street nearby that has many Thai massage places that are well priced and laundy shops. I would probably stay somewhere closer to the beach next time but since we had a motorbike it wasn't too bad. I d give the experience 3.5 Stars.

The hotel is nice but does show some age. but everything in the hotel work well, internet was 500b per 24 hours, that cost was to high and was very slow for that price.Service was great, location is great with a big mall ( 5 min. walk)to the left of the hotel when u come out of the front lobby. there are alot of gay bars in front of the hotel but found it funny but not a problem, but i would not recomend the hotel for kids. Lots of cheap and good food places just out side of the hotel. the pool at the hotel was great, pool seen. i would stay in the tower that is older better place to stay. all in all my 6 night stay there was very good and i would stay there again.

Shower was only a trickle but maintenance fix it till the evening. Only one of the front desk ladies could speech and understand English (was some time a hassle when I/we was asking for something). Breakfast buffet was small and limited at this time (maybe of low season, but as guest I don’t care, variety wasn’t great this time!) but quality was good. After all again a nice and enjoyable stay, maybe we stay again next year during Songkran there

This hotel is great!!We stayed in the Paradise wing which has fabulous views over Patong city.Only criticsms are,yellow bathroom tiles which we lived with anyway and the breakfast and dinner buffets were nothing special.Smelly air conditioner when switched on.Our maid(Jittra)was so nice,funny and friendly as were the reception staff.I would stay there again.Location was central to everything in Patong.We were also upgraded to the new Royal wing for one night,but we preferred Paradise wing for the views.

Room and pool were nice, but staff were miserable. Food in buffet restaurant was cold and manager was not interested when we complained. Breakfast was ok for 2 star hotel. Bacon was alternate days and then rationed to 2 small pieces. I would not stay here again.

Very nice hotel with great views, a fantastic swimming pool, about ten minutes walking to the beach through a very lively part of town. HOWEVER, I left my key in my room one day to keep the power turned on and had the do-not-disturb light on, and that evening when the maid opened the door for me, my key was gone and in it's place keeping the power on was a plain white card. The hotel swore that no one had entered my room all day, but could never explain how that white card (which only hotel staff can have) magically appeared in my room, and I had to pay 2000 baht for the missing key. I m sure most people have a good stay here, but I was so angry I'll never go back.

Wonderful!!! I loved the Royal. Situated about 5 mins (through the Boy massage district) to Patong beach. The pool is huge with many different levels and the swim up bar with its chirpy staff are a great surprise at the end of a hot day shopping! Our room was beautiful in the new Royal Wing . Fantastic beds and even better views over the whole district. We had a little trouble on the first night as they gave my husband and me a twin room but we were gladly exchanged the next day without issue. The first hotel we stayed at on our 3 week journey. Was so good we tried to book in for the last night of our stay. But apparently the quality is not a secret as it was booked out. Oh well, next time!

Plus points about the hotel: great location, great view from high floor (we stayed at level 23) and great foods from its Chinese restaurant. Minus points: room facilities are rather worn-out. The worst was the bathroom. It flooded each time we bathed! The dirty water from the bathtub actually seeped to the bathroom floor, flooding the whole bathroom with 1 cm high of dirty water! The dirty water would stay a few hours before it gradually flowed down the drain. We had to wear slippers while using the toilet or wash basin as such! The water stoppage plug in the bathtub was not working well too, and we had to bathe using cold water because the hot water tap was not working! But that was acceptable due to the very hot weather but imagine if it were Nov or Dec! As we stayed for only 1 night we did not bother to complain to the hotel about the bathroom flooding. If we had booked for a longer period, we would definitely asked to change room. The bathroom flooding was dirty, inconvenient and unacceptable to any hotel guests. Given there are so many other hotels to choose from in Phuket, we will not return to this hotel again.

The location was good, near to restaurants and massage places. 15 mins walk to beach, which was good cos patong beach area was too crowded. Stayed 3 nights in the highrise wings (old wing) cos the new wings were fully booked. The room was okay for 3 star hotel standard, not fantastic but was clean enough. Quite noisy along corridors during the day. The best thing in this hotel that we enjoyed wasThe swimming pool- was nice. Overall not a romantic hotel for couple but more suitable for group of friends or families. Had stayed at other 4-5 star hotels in phuket before, of course were much better... Booked for a superior room on the royal wing, all rooms may face the pool, but door which faces the road, has bars and night clubs that go on until 4:00 in the morning. This side of the hotel makes it not suitable for families, distance from the beach is a 5-10 min walk but ok. Hotel overall is good and so is service. If you book the royal wing enquire abount not being on the main roadside which is the front of the hotel, go for the back part.

Hotel was comfortable enough - 10 minutes away from the beach, close to the girlie bars (if that's your thing) and deep in the heart of the gay part of town (if that's your thing). Perfect location for good food - I did not try any hotel restaurants (not even brekkie) but some of the places looked a little pricey, compared with many of the great places to eat that are just a couple of minutes walk from the hotel. All in all, a decent hotel - but expensive internet connection. 420 Baht per day! Crazy.

Hotel room is a little old for my standard but clean & quiet. For those who love swimming, shd consider the new wing nearby. Expect to pay more. Nov.is high season. Budget is in your itinerary, go during June-Oct. Checking-in was hassle-free. Staffs were cheerful. Tour Desk staffs were informative & speak good English. Shop around to get better rate though. There are plenty of tour agencies outside the hotel. Always double check the price. Money is everything to them. For diehard shoppers, Phuket Town is the preferred choice-smiling staffs but poor English. Again do ask around for airport transfer, expect to get better service & rate. Try Hasan (Royal Paradise Hotel Limo Service), offered us excellent service during our stay. Speaks excellent English.Phone: 081-677 8997. Hotel Breakfast is very basic..the same foods everyday. Note: Phuket is a holiday paradise for caucasian. We(M sian) find things are very expensive. Changmai's shopping is so much fun-shop till you drops.

Very very nice hotel, we got a very good rate. Delux room is the most you should need, the more expensive wing of the hotel is right beside a very active red light area and tends to be quiet noisy into the early hours. Excellent staff. Mostly speak good english. A smell in air con the first time we switched it on but the fixed it immediately and was perfect from then on. Was very cool as air con goes in hotels which was very welcome in the heat. Good breakfast, everything you could want, it stops exactly at 10 so don't expect to get a late breakfast. 5 mins from main shopping area of pating and 10 mins from beach. shuttle to beach provided free by hotel. Pool area beautiful and staff are brill there. Would def stay there again.

Hotel was great. There was 6 of us travelling. 4 stayed in the tower and my wife and I stayed in the Royal Wing. The views from the tower were great. Great pool, we used the swim up bar every day. Beds in the Royal wing very hard. Close to everything. No noise from the clubs out the front. Very interesting some of the sights we saw out the front in the gay area. Highly recommend this hotel for price and service. Nice breakfast every morning.

A large clean comfortable hotel located in the centre of Patong, and just a short walk to the very happening Bangla Road. We stayed in the newer Royal Wing and really like the rooms. This wing is adjacent to the gay bar district, so expect a little noise at night. Seeing the Lady Boys is a hoot. We would definitely stay there again. Good friendly service and a very nice buffet breakfast. Indulge yourself and have a massage in the Hotel's luxurious Spa centre.
