1 day before check in date, the hotel informed us no available room & want to tranfer us to another accomodation nearby but we didn't agree since this booking was made 1 month prior while the hotel was not fully book. We report to the siameservices.com. Then the web staff confirmed with hotel manager no such change as said above. Until the moment we arrived, the hotel manager came & apologized there was no spare room for our booking (!!!). Really get mad about this, it seem the hotel hv premeditated to leave us no choice in the last minute but accept such situation while most of the same level hotels surround was fully book at that moment. SiameServices.com also could not control & insist them to preocess the original booking. To the end, 1hour nego with a tired face after long day flight, we accepted the condition they offered with unhappy mood in the first day of Luna New Year (bad luck ever). not see u again !!!

an education for us to learn that don't refer to cheap price & booking via web agent during the high & peak season but should go direct due with the hotel. since we fully paid prior to visit & hard to claim back, the siamwebhosting.com did not take full responsible if the hotel take any action of selling their guest to another lower level hotel under any possibly reasons.

Ok location, but as most hotels in Patong it's a 10 min walk to the beach. The receptionists didn't even bother to see who walked in to the hotel. The walls are very thin and as this is a low-budget hotel it had many young aussie-guests who consumed too much alcohol 24/7,with hammering at doors 5 am every night. No security at the hotel. You get what you re paying for. Recomendable for young partygoers!

The A/C in this place is not working good , we had to change 3 rooms because of it , the water was in and out , you may get ready for shower and NO WATER ... and in top of it I saw a mouse running in the eating area... The only one good thing about this place was location !

Great place. Clean. Good location within walking distance of the new mall. Nice pool. Good breakfast. I found the beds to be the only problem at the hotel - springs in the mattresses were noticeable and lumpy. Also, they offer daily snack specials -but when I order them got a no have . Otherwise the food was tasty.

For the price the accommodation was excellent and located between the markets, beach and Bangla rd it's not to far to walk most of the time. Pool was ok (on mortar used on the pool tiles which was a bit different. Breakfast was a good selection, considering the price. Didn't to many smiles from reception but they were easy enough to deal with.

hi, I stayed at this hotel for 27 nights & found it great, very central, the staff was great very friendly & helpfull, breakfast was very good,,if people want 5 star accom in a 3 1/2 star hotel,, let them book a 5 star hotel,,,,money wise it was the best value .. very clean,, I would book it again with out resevation. a good stay for retired people

The premises is good, security is good, breakfast is normal, but the swimming pool needs maintenance due to the sharp edges from broken tiles. Room size is reasonably spacious with exception of the small shower area. The computers at the business need to be updated with its application as I noticed certain website cannot display the embedded flash properly. The hotel staffs are very friendly and helpful as well. I will not hesitate to stay in this resort again.

Great middle class hotel, fresh and clean. Good service. You get exact what you pay for, no more no less. Try to get room at poolside, other side is a bar with music. On poolside you dont have any neighbourgs and theres a big open space before Otop market. Really quit.

Most dissappointed with room offered having booked, payed for in advance,and requested a high level room with balcony.Room offered was on ground floor with an outlook onto a covered car parking area.On expressing our disgust,and told that no other rooms were available,and after strong protests, we were urged to upgrade to The Horizon Beach Hotel at a cost of 2000 baht. We felt that we had no alternaticve than to reluctantly accept this offer. In view of the above we feel we are entitled to some comensation, we await your comments.

The hotel is convienientally located near shopping and entertainment centers and is a 5 minute walk to the beach. My first room faced another hotel across the soi and was spacious. I asked to be moved to a room overlooking the pool but it was lot smaller. There are several rooms that do not have windows. The hotel was clean and the staff was pleasant and polite. The buffet breakfast had a variety of items and was more than adequate.

Don't be put off by the outside appearance. Good clean tidy rooms, but be aware - bathrooms are very small, but adequate. Nice pool and lounge area. Basic and repetitious breakfast, but plentiful and adequate, even for a person with special dietary need, ie: Coeliac. Friendly and helpful staff. Fantastic location!! As family of 2 adults and 2 teenage boys - we loved it, and will definitely stay there again, as the price is very affordable and location was perfect!!! NB: (We had an issue over missing pool towels - staff were obliging and resolved it without too much hassle).

Patong Beach Lodge was a great hotel for the price. i had a room with my 8yr grandson and my wild 28yr sone had his own room next door. We were very handy to Jung Ceylon (5 min walk) and a short scooter ride away from the beach. I would recommend it to anyone. Very clean, friendly, relaxing and not too busy. Great restuarants, bars markets close by. would definetly stay there again.

The hotel is situated in the centre of Patong, really close to everything. The hotel itself is ok, but the interior is wore down. The pool is nice but small. There is no soap in the bath room, instead you are given a small small bottle of bath gel. The staff is unfriendly, we asked to switch rooms and the receptionist did not say one word, she just sighed. Never a smile from any of them. Breakfast not very good. If you book the hotel, make sure you get a pool view room (although what you really see is a swamp). The rooms with view to the other side will hear the noise from the bar opposite the hotel. The bar, Vech s, is really nice though, try their Piña Colada. Overall, the hotel is cheap and if you don't have too high expectations it's ok.

Excellent location , rooms are good vaue for money and good breakfast but I have a little bit bitter experience. I had a 1000 Bhat deposit but last day of my visit (I paid for 5 days but I stays only four day) the counter lady refund back my money after deduct for room mini bar (one Chang Beer, one big and one small bottle of water)charges. She refunded back 650 Bhat (too much over charges.Please check carefully your bill before settle with reception.

Patong Beach Lodge is a value for money hotel in Phuket. Excellent central location, decent size rooms (but small bathrooms) and unlimited continental breakfast. However, got a room without a view, inspite of requesting one with nice view . Superior Triple room has folding third bed (not very comfy). Overall, good experience and would recommend it to anyone looking for a low budget stay.

Good points: The stuffs were nice. Room was neat. It is very closed to the main streets but quiet. They provide towels, small bottle of shampoo and body soap. Free safebox behind the info-counter. Bad points: somehow the AC didn't work well. I booked a triple room, but one bed was a portable one. :(

We booked a triple single bed, but were given a room without any windows at all.Room is big enough for a proper 3rd bed but was given a portable one that is too soft that gave a backache. Breakfast was good but was the same everyday. Service is overall good. Location is good too where is accessible to shopping areas easily.

We knew when we booked that it wasn't going to be a 5-star hotel, but we were positively surprised. The hotel is clean, well kept and the breakfast is good. The staff is very friendly and service-minded. The air-conditioner on our original room made a lot of noise, so we decided to ask for a new room. It didn't take them more than 10 minutes to get us another room and move our bags. We even got a better room that time, with pool-view and balcony. That's a tip - ask for pool-side of the hotel. The hotel doesn't offer much of a view, but it only takes about 5 minutes to walk to the beach once you find the shortcut. The air-condition was VERY good, more than enough to FREEZE the room - and it is not controlled by the key so you can leave it on all day. Due to circumstances we changed hotels after just half the planned stay, but we still think that we can recommend this hotel. Considering it is so cheap, you get your money's worth and then some.

For a group of younger adults (20 s) this hotel was great. Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. We stayed in a 3 person room (fold out bed) and the room was HUGE. No problems, my friend found the shower a bit small but I had no problems with it. Nice breakfast, not a lot of choice but for the price it was great :) No problems at all with this hotel or the staff.

the above hotel was a good find we enjoyed our buffet breakfast, and location location was unreal. The staff were friendly and obliging. The room we booked was superior, and when they showed us our room, i asked for another, they checked and relocated us without a problem, handy to all markets, beach and night life. We shall book again with siameservices and stay at the lodge if available thank you very much.

Poor rooms and 414 without balcony and only a small window. like a prison. was charged 500 Bath each night for visitor in the room. Had booked for 1 week but changed hotel after 2 days.Manager not to be reached in weekend.My friend had to go in reseption and pay more deposit at night cause it was missing 32 Bath. Been travel around and live in Thailand for many years but this is firsth time i change hotel.Will NEVER stay there again

What a find ! Best value for money accom.that I have stayed in for long time. Great pool friendly staff and we had excellent room on 5th floor( be sure to ask for room with a balcony). 5 min walk to beach. Great restaurants close by, be sure to visit sumittra best thai food on the planet and make sure you visit bar opposite entrance to Lodge..its part of the beauty salon..great people to get to know..say hi to Charlee for me!

Never again!I booked a superior room,then we got a room with no window! The pool is very small and really clean,but the staff is friendly. I can't recommend this hotel.There are bether once in patong for cheaper.

extremely good value hotel for the price. nice atmosphere - personal good service nice pool - with all the basics right in the room, well positioned near the action but in quiet spot. we stayed at the beginning and end of our moto touring holiday. would book again without hesitation.

booking could be a bit simpler wasnt able to book separate dates in one go.
