i strongly suggest that you assign your staff to do the on-site check The hotel is totally far away from your http://www.siameservices.com/hotel/phuket/malaihouse/ i booked 1 standard room The funiture looks very old and cheap , the room smelled the bed sheets also very bad. No hot warter in the basin how could you put 9.2 points on your website the web page is cheating the client i want to you to apologize to me ,it is totally not worthy RMB 550 a night !

We got upgraded to deluxe room the first nite and superior room for the rest of my stay due to hotel did not receive my reservation from siameservices..thus the check-in waiting time a little bit longer but it's worth it as we were compensated with ungraded room :) overall i feel karon beach is dirty beach and food around hotel not very tasty..

Отель Малай Хаус - это второе здание отеля Шуга Палм. Территория у них одна, ресторан и бассейн тоже один. То есть фактически за небольшие деньги мы имли возможность пользоваться отличной инфраструктурой более дорого отеля. Малай оказался даже лучше, чем мы себе представляли. Довольно большая площадь номера, огромная кровать. Детскую кроватку поставили в номер по первой же просьбе, причем бесплатно. Постельное белье и полотенца меняли каждый день. Для меня это было очень важным, убирали чисто. Балконов в номерах нет, нас это не стесняло. Мы не заказывали завтраки, поэтому про качество еды ничего сказать не могу, но выглядело все довольно аппетитно (там открытый ресторан и мы иногда проходили мимо во время завтрака). очень удачное расположение отеля, буквально в 3 минутах от пляжа и в 3 минутах от самой оживленной части центра, где все кафешки, массажные салоны. При этом сам отель как-то так расположен, что в нашем номере вообще не было шумно, ночами спали спокойно. Отель могу смело порекомендовать.

Хороший, чистый отель. Нет балконов (а собственно зачем?). Практически нет территории(тоже зачем? мне и не нужно). В номерах просторно, свело, чисто.Есть все необходимое. Все по Тай стандарту(чайник,тв,холодильник,шкаф с плечками,сейф,мыло,шампунь,шапочка,полотенца банные и пляжные,зонт)Ну,что еще ндо?.Уборка каждый день.Персонал хороший.Добрые веселые ребята и девченки. Хорошее расположение,1-2 мин до моря пляж Карон. Рядом все есть (рестораы,магазины)и т.д. Есть бассейн. Есть пару тренажеров.(мини тренажерный зал). Интернет бесплатный, как в холе компьютеры,так и в номерах (Wi-Fi). При отеле хороший массаж салон.Прокат мопиков. Мне понравилось.Отправила туда свою маму.Поеду еще.Вернусь.Nice hotel. I'll be back

Malai House was a real little gem for money. It's only a short walk from the beach and shops/restaurants. Internet and swimming pool facilities of the adjacent Sugar Palm Resort were available to us. Breakfast included cooked meals that changed every day and could suit everyone's taste and needs. In fact, it was equal to at least 4 star hotels breakfast - we were amazed by it. Every day the room was cleaned and 2 bottles of water provided. The room included towels, bar fridge, toiletries and the most important: air-conditioner. We recommend Malai House and Sugar Palm Resort to all budget travelers as they are simply great value for your money.

Stayed for the first time at Malai House which is under sugarpalm management. It is awesome! Malai house is a basic guest house which is just beside Sugar Palm Karon. Guest from Malai House can use Sugar Palm Karon's facilities which has a Olympic length pool and fitness room. The standard room was bigger than the pool access room at Sugar Palm Karon which was really surprising for such a cheap price. Breakfast was really delicious as menu changes everyday so you wont get sick and tired of eating the same food. Beach was very clean and only 2 minutes walk from the guest house. There were many shops and convenient stores just right outside our guest house. For those who want peace and quiet but at the same time with many shops and convenient stores nearby, Malai House and Sugar Palm Karon is a great place to stay. I have stayed in Sugar Palm Kata back in 2007. Sugar Palm management and staff are a bunch of friendly and trustworthy people. I recommend this place for those who both young and old and have a limited budget but still wants comfort!!

The best place in Phuket, close to the beach and even close to the night life but not noisy. Very nice and helpful stuff and they are always smiling. Any of them speak english. Breakfast is very good. Free internet point. Rooms are clean and made up every day. Pool is long enough to swim. When you check-in you get a cold welcome drink (fresh fruit juice) and a cold refreshing towel which was really live-saver for us. :) I do recommend this place for anyone and I really would like to go back again!

This hotel i would highly recommend. The staff are very friendly, the rooms are clean & spacious. The local area is great you have lots of restaurants & shopping around the corner. The beach is approx 2mins walk. To get to patong beach approx 300baht ($10aus). The pool is clean & the massage service is fantastic.

The Malai building is very old and dark. The way to the room is so dark and so smell. However, The room is looks ok, clean but the toilet is very narrow, dirty and facility is very old. I feel uncomfortable in the toilet. By the way, I suggest to pay a little bit more and stay at The sugar plam Hotel the building is connected to Mali Guesthouese because the mamagement is the same. And the room is look so nice and clean and new! You will love it.

I think Malai House is the great hotel in this price(520 THB/Night/Room Only) that I ever stayed. Especially Malai house near the Karon beach,Free internet cafe, Swiming pool, room self it's O.K.,bath tab with hot water, boiler with free tea and coffee,made will clean your room every day.I love Malai House.This hotel is my first choice for my next trip at Phuket with saver price and quality.

I ve stayed in hostels in Eastern Europe that were nicer than Malai House. We were incredibly disappointed to end up in such a horrible place after traveling all day from Japan. The AC didn't work. The hot water didn't work. The bathroom was cobbled together, old and crumbling with a nasty shower curtain. The room was dark. There were small bugs scurrying around the floor. The bedding just felt gross. I know this place got decent reviews both here and on trip advisor (the reason I booked in the first place!) But let me assure you... it's not a nice hotel. Luckily we were able to upgrade to the hotel next door (Sugar Palm) for the next 3 nights. The 2 hotels are connected and share a reception desk. We only paid maybe $80 to upgrade and it was definitely worth it! The Sugar Palm had great rooms... TV, a pool, a great free breakfast buffet, etc. Do yourself a favor and skip Malai House!

It ended up being fine, but was a bit of a pain in the ass. You have to pay the full price before arriving in 2 installments several weeks apart... and hope the email reminding you to do so doesn't end up in your junk mail folder!
