Kata Lucky Villa is a very pleasant, nice and quiet place on Phuket. We spent here 3 nights in the Villa de luxe and it was excellent. To the beach it was 5 min by walk. I would recommend the villa for relaxing vacation in very nice villas. Otherwise the beach and the city is very crowded so I would preffer another place in Thailand next time. The beach I would compare to Italy or Spain. There are a lot of nicer beaches in Thailand.

Familjerummen var stora och rymliga. Perfekt när man skulle ställa om till thailandstid med två barn. Hotellet ville först ge oss ett annat rum än vi bokat och när vi påpekade det var alla rum upptagna så vi fick sova i fel rum en natt. Barnen älskade poolen och maten Hotellet ligger lite långt från stranden och centrum men erbjöd taxi ner varje timme

Bon hôtel au calme dans un écrin de verdure. Loin des bruits de Kata. Seul le chant des grenouilles et des lézards peuvent vous perturber. Petite piscine et peu de place. A 1 km de la plage avec une navette régulière. C est notre deuxième séjour et nous avons retrouvé d autres habitués. Petit déjeuner copieux et bon.

No drawers in room, had to buy spray for all the bugs in the room, so staff were nice but the staff on the desk were very rude and spoke very little English. Too far from the beach and the road is very dangerous to try to walk to the main road. Would not stay here again and would not recommend it.

Хороший отель для отдыха с детьми. Тихо, уютно, по семейному. Есть детский бассейн. Напротив отеля потрясающий Итальянский ресторан, прямо у дороги. Владелец Итальянец, бывший футболист, блюда просто потрясающие! Не рекомендую 105, 106, 107, 108 бунгало. У них окна выходят на стену за которой прачечная и бывает шумит персонал в 8 утра. Ещё не очень хороший вариант 115 и 116 номера, рядом пруд с лягушками и они ночью поют. Но это всё мелочи и если придираться, в целом - отличный вариант за свои деньги. До моря 5-10 минут пешком по дороге или 3 минуты на мотобайке. Каждый час ходит тук-тук доя моря бесплатно или за 100 руб. могут отвезти в любое время.

I stayed at Kata Villas in a pool side room with my partner for 3 days and was at first slightly hesistant when we were taken down some windy streets but when we eventally arrived we were very pleased with the place. It is quite random in that you dont see any restaurants nearby or the beach but you soon realise all of that is not far away at all. The staff were friendly considering their limited English, the pool was superb and the rooms were far more spacious and cleaner than we expected. The place is only a 10 min walk down into Kata centre but this walk is not ideal for kids/pushchairs or the elderly due to no paths. The breakfast was a good selection every morning and Kata beach is very nice compared to Patong so if you are looking for a nice beach, chilled out surroundings with a little bit of atmosphere then this is the place to stay. If you want nightlife and more to do then go to Patong. Kata Villas offer a free shuttle bus to and from the beach as well which is very useful. Although the place is a little dated/tired in places, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here as a couple travelling around Thailand as this is a great base if you want to go off for the days or spend time by the pool and is far enough away from any noise Kata may offer at night. Value for money definately! Not ideal for families or those wanting to stay somewhere longer than one week.

The staff was not very firendly, when we had to check in after 20 hour travel, there where 3-4 staff members, but no one helped us, first after 5-10 minutes. The rooms and pool was OKAY, the breakfast was not very good. Have been in thailand many times, and i have never stayed at a hotel where the staff was so unfriendly. I would not ever stay here again, or recommend it.

Отель понравился. Сервис ненавязчивый, ежедневная уборка номеров, зелёная территория, просторные номера с большой открытой верандой, гостинной и мини-кухней. Не понравились только застиранные полотенца, как пляжные, так и банные, но меняли их ежедневно, даже, если ушли утром с полотенцами на пляж, всё равно ложили в номере чистые. Бассейн, хоть и небольшой по размеру, но очень оригинальный по дизайну. Так как море не очень близко, поэтому в бассейне купались ежедневно - очень рано утром и вечером. До моря не очень удобно идти, т.к. на дороге нет тротуара, но весь транспорт спокойно объезжает пешеходов. Каждый час из отеля до пляжа возит тук-тук, но с 9-ти утра, а мы частенько ходили пораньше. Но пройтись тоже не вредно, поэтому мы без претензий. Я ездила с мужем, сестрой и её мужем. Отелем остались довольны все. Буду советовать этот отель своим знакомым.

Сомнения были, но отзывы в интернете были не плохие. Все подтверждения пришли очень быстро, при заселении никаких вопросов не возникло.

Stayed at Kata Lucky Villa for 3 nights. Rooms are spacious and clean. Resort overall is very clean. Rooms with the pools outside the back deck are great. Very good resort for the price that is paid. Good economy resort. A little far from the beach so some sort of transport is handy like renting a motorcycle or something unless you don't mind walking 15 minutes to the beach. The south end of phuket is the place to be. Kata, Katanoi and Naiharn are beautiful beaches that are a bit quieter than the others north. Service is a bit lacking though.

We stayed in Kata Lucky Villa from 23.July to 7.August. It offers two diffrent types of accomodation. (Pool Access rooms and Garden Villas)We choosed the Garden Villas. It was a great vacation. Everything was fine and we will stay there definitely next year again. Rooms: It is not a room , it is a suite!! You have a spacious livingroom with small kitchenette, huge fridge and very big veranda. Next to that is the bedroom with king- sizebed and also very spacious. Bathroom looked quite new. Service: was always very good and friendly. Poolbar, rental service, roomservice, booking service is availeable and we used all of them . Personnel friendly and helpful. Facilities: Very very nice pool and garden area. The pool is quite small.When we stayed there it was sufficient and could get always a good place, but I could imagine that it will be more crowdy in peak season! Location: It is appr. 10min to the beach and the center. (with the bike only 2min) For us perfect because it is quiet if you want to relax but within 2 minutes ride you are in the middel of everything

Чудесный небольшой оазис в шумном поселке. Мы жили в двухкомнатной вилле. Свежий ремонт, хороший санузел. Тишина, птицы заливаются...Завтрак нормальный, но без изысков. От моря далековато, ходить приходиться загруженной улице без тротуара, но на третий день привыкаешь. На пляж Каты сходили пару раз-там тысячи людей. Гораздо лучше загорать и купаться на Ката Ной или уезжать на такси или тук-туке на пляж Най Харн. Всем хорошего отдыха!

We lived in a house and they were very spacious, clean rooms, good shower. The villa consisted of a room with a kitchenette and kitchen furniture. The other room was a spacious bedroom with king bed in which at least two adults and a child seat. Even one extra bed in with no problems. Breakfast was buffet and all you need is there. It is also a bus from the hotel every hour to the beach. Taxi service is available at the hotel where they had a really big and spacious minivan. You could also rent a moped. the whole hotel area is very lush and cozy where children could walk between the houses to play with each other. The hotel also has another part housing that offers pool access with private pool outside each room. I can highly recommend this hotel if you want to stay tidy, quiet and comfortable with beautiful surroundings and a cozy pool with bar and massage behind.

Был приятно удивлен как самими домиками, так и общим впечатлением от отеля. Наш номер был с гостинной+кухней, была просторная веранда. Бассейн дочке понравился очень, хотя он небольшой. Жена тоже осталась довольна. Минусов немного, и они весьма субьективны: - дорога до пляжа, если идти пешком, а не ехать на бесплатном туктуке, холмистая и без обочин - стремно с дитем было ходить. - завтрак немного однообразный, правда вкусный и сытный. Основные ЛИЧНЫЕ негативы вызваны мелочностью и жадностью одной тетки там, видимо, управляющей. До появления этой мадам на горизонте даже персонал был любезнее. Поначалу она стрясла с нас дополнительные 50 бат (бугага!) за туктук с Ката Нои, на котором мы ехали с парой французов и стоимость за туктук, вроде как, делили напополам, а ей захотелось с нас срубить лишних грошей. Мелочь, но как она смешно лаялась :) Ну когда перед выездом наша доча расколотила какую-то хрень, ценой бат в 500, эта мадам выкатила 3000, и сблаговолила прогнуться до 2500. Она, конечно, была в праве требовать с нас компенсацию за побитое, но какая ж она жадная и сварливая! :) В общем, не ломайте и не разбивайте там ничего :)

Hotel molto carino e riservato, sembra di non trovarsi a kata beach.....camere molto spaziose (quasi troppo) infatti hanno anche un soggiorno con lavello. Piscina carina con bar all interno. L unica pecca se cosi la si può chiamare è la colazione che rispetto agli hotel della stessa categoria è molto semplice e poco scenica (come lo è invece in altri hotel della zona).

Wonderful hotel with very friendly staff. One free bottle of water every day. Good breakfast buffé, they fix fresh omellette if you ask them. Transfer to beach every hour, but i took only 5-10 min to walk. We had poolside room and loved it!

I stayed at Kata Lucky villa and poolside from 3rd.to 11th.December. This was my fourth visit to this resort but my first stay in the brand new poolside accommodation which only opened for guests in November.I was offered poolside because the villas were allegedly fully booked.The swimming pool and sun bathing areas are very good but the accommodation,in my opinion,is not as good as the less expensive villa part of the resort.The room felt less spacious,storage for clothing was very restricted and the top shelf in the wardrobe is only accessible by persons 2m tall! Tea and coffee making facilities are available in the room but tea and coffee supplies are only provided on day one after that they are available at a charge of 50 baht each time. This is very penny pinching for a resort of this standard. Also,the refrigerator is much smaller than those in the villas. I personally like the location,it is a 10 to 15 min. walk to Kata beach but is far enough away from the other Kata activities to ensure peace and quiet,if that is what you prefer.The staff at the resort were all very pleasant and helpfull and the changed format (and location)of breakfast with a buffet style arrangement is a big improvement. Overall I had another pleasant stay but the poolside accommodation was not worth the additional cost. One final point,upon my arrival I asked if the villas were fully booked and the reception staff told me that there were vacancies so I felt that I had been used as a guinea pig to try out the new facilities during a soft opening period!

Great place to stay on Kata. Staff is wonderful and very helpful. Quiet and out of the way. Nice, private villas in a lush garden overlooking a wonderful little pool. Massage ladies are good. Breakfast is good. Pay separately for Wifi or hotel computer, very reasonable. I highly recommend getting a motor bike at 200 baht per day. Its a fst way to the beach and a great way to explore the surrounding lookout points and villages.

Great little place. Quiet and out of the way. To get to the beach just rent a scooter or they have a shuttle bus. Very peaceful, not for the party crowd. The staff was immensely helpful when my transport to the airport didn't show up. They arranged an alternate at the last second, got the original transport company to pay for it and got me to the airport on time. Now that's service!

What a lovely, lovely place! The staff, the grounds, the pool, and the suites were wonderful. The grounds are actually nicer than in the pics, as the landscaping has matured and been added to. The pics of the rooms (suites actually) are accurate. There are fridges in the suites......along with a hot pot. The included breakfast is very good. They also have some motorbikes for rent at a good rate without having to leave your passport at some strange place. The pool water was non-burning.....of VERY nice quality. They also have some jaccuzi jets at one end of the pool, along with a child's pool. It is about a ten minute walk to the beach......or the resort will shuttle you down there. A warning about the mini-bus service the front desk booked for us from Phuket to Ko Samui though......do NOT use them, they are thiefs. Their name is Nopparat Tour at tel.# 081-8945486. They took us about 3/4 of the way to Samui (while driving like stark raving lunatics) and kicked us out and told us to go get a motel room and they would take us the rest of the way the next day! Of course, that was not the resorts fault.....but I suggest making sure you do not use that particular mini-bus company. Otherwise, many thanks to Kata Lucky Villa's staff for making sure our stay was so wonderful!

Great Deluxe Villas, spacious (1 bedroom + 1 living room/kitchen) and clean. Very good pool, beautiful garden. Relaxing and quiet location just a five minutes stroll away from the beach (they also provide a shuttle service). The only drawback is that the AC in the bedroom is very intense (even on lowest level) whereas the living room/kitchen is only equipped with a fan. Altogehter the Lucky Villa is very good value for money.

I absolutely loved Kata Lucky Villa. The villas were unexpectedly large with 2 rooms (kitchen/dining room and bedroom) and a private terrace. The garden/pool were great with trees and bushes and grass and plenty of space. The pool could be larger, but they had a pool bar! The resort is a bit far from the beach and they offer free hourly tuk-tuk to/from the beach. (We didn't care as we always rent a motorbike for the whole stay.) The breakfast was very good - there is a choice of continental/american/traditional thai food, fresh fruits, etc. What ruined most of the impression that there was an ongoing construction on the adjacent plot just behind our villa where the workers started drilling at 7 AM in the morning!!! They also had the construction near the restaurant so you couldn't eat in silence either. I would definitely recommend this resort given two conditions: 1) you have a car or motorbike 2) you don't get a villa near the construction area. Besides that, Kata Lucky Villa is great!

The hotel is in a relatively quiet and peaceful part of Kata and is only a short (10 mins.) walk to the beach and restaurants/bars. Nice swimming pool area and well maintained gardens. Staff are polite,courteous and efficient.

Very quiet, a bit away from the beach, but you can easily walk and there is also a shuttlebus every hour. It does not look nice from the outside, but it is :0) We had a villa near the pool, very nice with a little tea kitchen. Big fridge. Terasse. Friendly staff, not many rooms=guests. We used laundry service, internet and had a footmassage there. If you want omelet or pancake for breakfast you have to wait a little too long for it, to be made in the kitchen. Nice poolarea. There is a little nailshop/hair salon named KAW on the street. To the right from the hotel, near the 7/11 shop. She is VERY nice. Makes beautiful nails and hair. :0)

We stayed here for 8 nights although was low season but we got many chances to swim in hotel's lovely pool. Rooms are very clean and staff are friendly. The hotel is about 10 mins walk to Kata beach but hotel also have free transportation every hour to the beach so that is good choice on the hot day. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip to Kata. Remember to visit Mama restaurant: Great food , Great service , reasonable price !

The Hotel was more than great, very nice and helpful personel. We stayed there for 14 days, and we loved it, and will deffently be back again. Location fine, it takes about 10-15 min to walk to the beach. Kata Beach is more quiet than Patong Beach, so if you want to party every night, then is Kata Beach not the right place. But there is very nice there, and very good restaurants and shopping possibility..

We really got value for money here. We ordered 5 days and renewed our time for another 6 days. Good service, nice looking pool with a pool-bar, friendly staff. The room is huge. It is as they say a villa. The villa consists of 2 rooms: 1 huge bedroom with queen's bed and 1 kitchen/all-around-room where you spend your time if you are many. The rooms are in good shape. There's nothing old about them. Not to forget a large balcony you can sunbath from (if your room is faced towards to sun of course). The only thing I can pick on is the location. From the look on the map via siameservices.com it looks like that the hotel is kinda closer to the beach, but it was way outta walking-range, and it's quite nerve-racking to walk along to road, even though it was little. But they do have good motobikes you can rent, which makes the life much easier. We'll stay here again for sure.

Villas are well planned and have good location. But it is strange that in furnitured kitchen there is no equipment even to boil a water. A lot of insects, especially in the bathroom were some kind of disturbing and the aircon was situated exactly on bed. Otherwise room was OK. Staff is not very helpful and money is charged for every movement even if it is done wrong. Breakfast is very good.

The room was very clean and spacious and the staff very cordial. Wireless internet not too expensive and available in the room, but a bit slow. Far enough away from the hustle-bustle of the main beach road, but an easy walk to the sand. The pool is a bit small, but very attractive. Cheap scooters extend your range to the larger island. Bars on the windows (all are on ground floor) made me wonder about security, but there is a safe in the room and the people on the island are quite friendly and before long I felt quite secure. E.g., I left my helmet on the scooter handlebars all day without losing it.

The kat lucky is a lovley peaceful haven a very busy place the staff are very helpful but had difficuly with our scottish accent as they normally only have scandinavian guests but they tried very hard kata is a very tourist place ok if your on a package deal but for individual travellers you dont see thailand at its best however it is better than some places we have been on our travels, up from the lucky villa is a very good thai restuarant and serves really good for 30bhts and 60bht for a bit better they also do carry out meals overall i would recommend lucky villa

We choose Kata Lucky villa after reading the reviews on this site. We are truly glad we did since it turned out to be a lovely place to stay at. Very nice bungalows and good environment for children. 10 minutes walk to the beach. The road is very narrow and may not be so good to walk with smaller children in baby carriage. Free ride with shuttlebus from hotel to the beach/city centre. We recomend this hotel since it's a very quiet, peaceful and relaxing place to be.

We stayed at Kata Lucky Villa for 14 days, and we had a wonderful time there! Our kids, 4 and 1,5 years old, just loved the pool and the super friendly staff. Clean and spacious bungalows with a nice terrass. A beautiful garden with banana and mango trees. We were very well taken care of! An extremely relaxing place! With small kids and a stroller I would recommend to take a tuk-tuk or the free shuttle to the beach, because the street is very narrow and there is a lot of traffic. We highly recommend KLV!

Absolutely good location in Kata. The villas are very spacious and clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Its true, breakfast ist not exiting but we were filling our fridge with exotic things from the marked and had a lot of fun with the staff allowing us to even use the kitchen. The pool in the garden is a dream. I felt very at home in the Kata Lucky villas. To the beach its a 10 min. walk along the road. Rent a motorcycle at the hotel and you will enjoy exploring the area.

We stayed here for 15 nights and loved it. Very nice quiet resort and great for families. The resort is only about 3 years old going by the gardens and young palms which have been planted. The grounds are flat with well kept lawns. There are 28 villas, paired together in 14 separate buildings, all joined by a flat winding footpath, laid out in an oval shape around the pool which is in the middle of the area. This is a great hotel for families with children from very young through to older kids as the grounds are neat and flat so you can see the kids if they want to have a walk around the footpath, and for older kids if they want to go in to the beach by themselves. The hotel is situated about a 5 minute brisk walk away from the beach or a 10 minute slow steady walk to the beach. There is only one small hill, hardly a hill more like a slight rise in the road, between the hotel and the beach, the rest of it is flat. The roads in and around this section of Kata are very narrow and there is no footpath so when walking in for meals or beach you have to walk single file and stay close to the edge of the road. Having said this, the traffic is also very aware of pedestrians. The hotel runs a free shuttle to Kata Beach every day between 7.00am and 5.00pm which we used to go in to the beach a couple of times per day. Kata Beach, Kata Noi and also Karon are probably the nicest beaches clear water, good sand and location. There is a 7 Eleven about two minutes walk away from the hotel which was convenient for buying snacks and drinks and the odd Beer Chang or three. The staff at the hotel are very friendly and polite and reception will take very good care of you. The hotel owners are there every day also which I have not seen before at other resorts and they take a very hands on approach and will help with anything you need. One last thing, the shuttle driver, breakfast area attendant and pool attendant named Or, he's the best and if anyone is going to stay there, please say hello from Max. Great place to stay and would definitely stay there again.
