Fel kan uppstå i alla hotell,men hur man bemöter och åtgärdar det är det verkligen stor skillnad på. Som i vårat fall när allt avloppsvatten kom fram från handfat dusch och toalett stol så måste man ju åtgärda det omedelbart,men inte här Förslaget blev att vi skulle vänta till i morgon eller checka ut.Efter mer och mer högljuda diskussioner skulle vi kunna få 2st rum i dag och 1 i morgon. (vi hade 3 st rum) Ingen kunde dock ta något beslut före chefen kom så vi valde att checka ut (7st personer) ut och leta hotell. Tack och lov hjälpte oss SiameServices så det löste sig bra.SKITHOTELL.

Overall impression of the stay was very good. The hotel itself is conveniently located near the beach and main streets, but in a quiet, no noise from the streets. Clean, comfortable room with a balcony overlooking the pool., Swimming pool with Jacuzzi, cleaned every morning, two saunas, a decent breakfast. Very good impression staff, very helpful and polite. Within two weeks, no negative points were revealed. My wife was delighted.

My family stayed here for 10 nights. We booked a suite with extra bed for our 8 year old. For the price we paid were extremely happy. The location perfect, step outside the door and your right in the heart of it. Breakfast simple but adequate, had all the required items including an egg counter where they will do your eggs to your request. Communication a little hard as english not the spoken language, but with a little patience and persistence we did not have a problem. We were 1 of only a couple of english speaking tourists there, majority from Scandinavian countries (Germany, Sweden etc) which we found excellent as we can meet other Aussies at home.

Think that this used to be a nice hoyel once upon a time. Now it just feels worn down. Staff was very uninterrested and most of the ones manning the reception was really bad at english. Pool was green from algy and minimal efort was put in to get it clean. We were upgraded to a villa which was really nice. Could have been great if it had been properly cleaned and if all things had worked as the should. For instance: there were no bottomplug in the tub, and the staff couldn't get one either. SInce the hotel is quite far from the beach one would have guessed that the pool area had been well planned and large. But far from it. The ones going here are to enjoy crowds and crowds if people. I m glad I ve seen it so that I can avoid it in the future.

Маленький отельчик, тянет на свои 3 звезды. В номере есть все необходимое. Убираются каждый день. Если оставляешь чаевые, то уборка просто идеальная. Кондиционер гудит так, что создается впечатление, что рядом взлетает самолет, независимо от того включен он или выключен. Завтраки очень простенькие, но голодными вы не останетесь. До моря идти минут 5. Если рассматривать отель как место ночлега, то это хорошее место для вашего отдыха (дешево и сердито). Если хотите сервиса и излишеств, то нужно выбрать что-либо еще.

Vi bokade ett standard rum, vilket inte gick att bo på. Det var slitet till tusen och väldigt slarvigt städat.Vi uppgraderade till en villa suite. Rummet i sig var fint men inte städat ordentligt på väldigt länge. Lankanen i sängen hade fläckar. Vi hittade massor med hårstrån överallt. Badkaret var inte städat. Badrumsgolvet skulle varit vitt men var ingrott med smuts. På framsidan av villa suiten fanns en såkallad bubbelpool, den var mycket motbjudande då den var smutsig och fylld med löv och en och annan groda. Poolen var inte speciellt inbjudande kändes smutsig, vi badade inte. Solstolarna var trasiga och nedsuttna. Vissa i personalen var trevliga. Hotellet kändes nedgånget och absolut inte värt att bo på. Rekommenderas INTE.

The standard of the rooms does not measure up to the rates! We had booked a standard room, it was awful, dirty, small and very por standard. We upgraded to the villa, it was better but not worthy the rate. The staff were not as kind and serviceminded as I have experienced in many other hotels in Thailand! Cleaning was bad, big dustballs under the bed, leaking taps in the bathroom...a jacuzzi outside that would be a risk for your health to use. And the pool area was depressing. We never went in the pool, would also be a helathrisk! I will never stay at this hotel again!!! You can find better hotels at better prices in the near area, or pay the same rates but get a much better standard.

OK, I will give you the truth, no bull. The hotel was very good and clean, ideally situated, about 3 minutes from the beach, about 30 seconds from the nearest bars and restaraunts but you could hear no noise at the hotel from the street located 50 metres away, it was situated just perfect in my opinion. The hotel staff were very freindly and helpful. The rooms were clean and air conditioned. We never had a problem. The breakfast was a very wide choice from fruit, through to rice, bacon, or omelettes and anything in between. Lots of ammenities very close by but all out of ear shot. My only gripe was the price of the hotels trips. An example was a trip to Phe Phe islands, they said 3300 bt but will give me a good discount, 2800 bt each for me and the wife. 100 metres away outside the hotel on the street corner, the same trip on the same boat, picked up from the hotel door and delivered back to the hotel door was advertised at 2500 baht each, then they said big discount on top, I asked how much for me and the wife, 2400 bt in total, thats only 1200bt each, a big saving, over £60 cheaper for the same trip. OK so the hotel has to make a profit but they were not charging me £60 more for the trip. You compare if you go there, it may be cheaper now but that was our price quoted through the Christmas period. Apart from this little gripe we have no regrets, it was a great place to stay, ideally situated, no traffic noise, very good breakfast and very pleasant staff. Mr & Mrs Fletcher

Hotel was ideal for children - we had direct access to the pool which was great. hotel was clean however, one of the hotel receptionists was very rude and chose what to understand and what not to understand. When we booked we booked three rooms, one of which was for two adults and two children aged 9 and 6. However, upon arrival there was no bed for the 6 year old and nothing I could say to the rude receptionist made any difference to her; hence the 6yo slept with his parents each night when she refused to make another roll away bed available. She kept blaming the booking agent. Also on enquiring about using internet she announced it was 100 baht for 2 hours yet the sign on the door stated 50 baht for 1 hour. When I stated I did not want it for two hours, she continued to chant 100 baht for two hours. Gave up and went across the road where it was 1 baht per minute with a minimum of 20 baht. Very rude young lady. We avoided her the best we could during the rest of our stay. breakfast was good but on one night service in the resturant was horrendus with one person not receiving a typical thai dish until all other 8 people had finished their meals. all in all not a bad stay. would I stay again - probably not.

We found Phuket to be a beautiful place to vacation. We were very impressed with how friendly and accomodating the staff was. We were pleased with the service of the staff also. The Hotel was clean and grounds were beautiful with lots of greenery. Only a 5 minute walk to the beach and close to restaurants. I would recommend this Hotel to anybody. They offered wonderful relaxing massages. The nightly entertainment with Bong the singer was wonderful to listen to. We will plan to stay there again.

So windy in the restaurant that things blowed away when you eating. And the food was not good. The staff was not nice and they charged to much money on the room. The hotel was okay, medium-class. Located in the centre of Karon, not at the beach. You have to cross a road with heavy traffic, when you go down to the beach but it is not a big problem. There is a pool at the hotel but I didn´t use it. Staff were okay, some of them couldn´t speak english.

Karon Whale Resort Phuket. In 2004 April I stayed at Woraburi next to Karon beach. While is its pricey, it provided wonderful services. This time I crossed my fingers and booked with Karon Whale. Not only is Karon whale cheaper, the room is much larger, personels were extremely efficient and competent. Only thing is right next to it there is a construction going on that can get slightly noisey. But i didnt stay in daytime much so I wasnt affected much. TRIPLE A+ Service!

Excellent, reliable and fast. Definitely cheaper then other websites I reviewed. SiamWebHosting was able to get me room at Karon Whale in and instant while other websites made me wait a long time afterwhich they told me Hotel is full (???)

We arrived in the morning,had boked 2 rooms.We got them right away. Karon Whale is a nice little hotel about 60 rooms.It worked good whit pickup service nice and friendly staff. the only minus was at breakfast mutch of ants crowling round the bread and the sweet things. But we had a nice time there,near to beach and everything you need.

When we arrived after been travelling the whole day we were told that the hotel was overbooked and that they did not have any rooms for us! We had booked 3 superior rooms 4 months before arriving and we were very disappointed. The manager wanted us to stay and two different hotels even if we were one family. He also suggested tha we could share 2 rooms instead of having 3 doublerooms but this what not what we expected. After some hours waiting for a solution, looking at different proposals, the manager finally found a good one for us. Late in the afternoon we got 3 rooms at The old Phuket (a very nice hotell!)and we were all very tired but also very satisfied.

Very good, fast and convenient. Will use it again!

Great staff,pleasant room, good breakfast.Quiet for sleeping yet close to lots of restaurants & the beach.Good value.Not many rooms have a good view but ours had a lovely hill view.

The hotel was very cleanand the staff were pleasant & helpful. Our stay was 2 weeks and no major problems arose. It was nice to be able to charge drinks and meals to the room from pool area.a kettle in the room would be nice for early morning coffe on your balcony.Well worth the price. We foud it to hot on the beach in the afternoon so we enjoyed the shade around the pool
