Accommodation and facilities:
We were able to locate the hotel using a map. Most people we asked didn't know where it is. The hotel is a short walking distance to the beach and the street where it is located has a lot of stalls selling cheaper clothes than other stores along Bangla road. The one who assisted us in the hotel premises is Ou . He is very kind, helpful and hospitable. He even coordinated with our tour agency and taxi service going to airport. The room is ok considering the cheap price we pay, plus the hotel has free wifi. We can connect to the internet even inside our room.

I love this place...about 10 mins walk from Bangla Road so its not too noisy, clean rooms and friendly receptionist. Price could be cheaper though, I ve stayed here at least 4 times and on average the price is 800 baht to 1000 bath per night, which is a bit pricy for its facilities.

I stay at beach road inn for 2 weeks room were clean and cleaned ever day and the staff there were good but did not speak english to well the only problem i had was when i had to check out i paid a deposit of 3000 baht on line to scure booking and i had to pay the rest when i check out and the staff try to make me pay for the full 14 nights so i had to try and get them to understand i already paid 3000 baht and they were saying my boss didnt tell me i did get it saught tho the other thing is to walk to the hotel you get people in your face trying to sell you something everday but it come with going to phuket, beach road inn staff were not told about the deposit i had paid

friendly staff and great location.tv works,a/c works,hot water works. no difference between big room and small room.need new matresses. swaped rooms after first night. 1st room was dirty. not cleaned since tsunami wave maybe last time washed out so i complained so swaped rooms. it was cleaner but still bad smell and matress springs still poking through. i booked a big room and my friend a small room. my big room was smalled than my friends small room. i complained. they game me a discount so only paid small room price in end. this place has great potential but needs cleaning and revovating.

Easy check in and check out. In good location, 2-3mins walk down the lane to the main street where you can find watsons, hagaan daz, starbucks and macdonald. Just across the road is the beach. Aircon was strong and hot water from heater was readily available (no need to wait for it to heat up). And counter staff was friendly, spoken some english. Only 3 problems - the occassional mosquitos, the climbing of 4 storey to our room (no elevator), and a distant music from the nearby pub. Not for those who need complete silence to get to sleep.

The location is really perfect - 3 min walk to the beach, lots of cafes nearby, and the market is right the way to the hotel. The room is OK, the WC is clean and everything works perfect - hot water, flash, enough egl, soap and other things. AC is OK, safe-box in the wardrobe, minibar with good prices. The only thing is look out of the window - the opposite wall in 30 cm in front of you, but it is OK as nobody would walk there and look into your room. The staff is perfect, nice people, and they gave us as many towels as we needed, on the last day we had 6 ones. Just the price could be a bit lower, I think 600 baht/night would be more reasonable for such kind of hotel, but as it was peak period it was OK for us.

( This was my 7.th time in Thailand) Location i's perfect for shopping and close to the beach. It is also very easy to get to know people that works around in the area. We stayed 2 nights in this hotell. The room was OK. Really hard to find this hotell, far down in a dark soi. The Indian pepole in the soi try to sell things to you every time you walk in the soi. (Do not walk alone) Really irritate, annoy, when you thanks no, the will be aggressive. The first night there was no manger in hotell, no security. All lamps was of. We felt really unsafe and frightened. Later we move to Puttasa in next soi. BIG better and nice rooms/manger

The hotel itself is clean and comfortable located only a block from the beach. Be sure you have their phone or a map to the hotel, because no driver in town has heard of it. Every time you enter or leave the hotel, you will have to travel an alley where the the most aggressive and obnoxious Indian merchanats will frazzle your nerves. They will grab you and refuse to turn loose. I would recommend this place only to those traveling with body gaurds.

We stayed at some pretty nasty places. Paid 1000bath a night and found it to be very nice. Clean rooms and most important to us a nice clean toilet and shower. We stayed for 11nights. The owner don't talk english that well but he tried and always greeted us in the morning. A wellrun little guesthouse- hard to find though. We liked our stay very much and if you go to Patong-look this up! Just across the street from the beach and very nice people. And not far from Bangla Road, easily walkingdistance about 10min.

We were pleasantly surprised after reading mixed reviews on SiameServices. The Room was spotlessly clean with freshly laundered sheets and fresh towels everyday. There were 2 bottles of water on the first day. The room was cleaned everyday and the bathroom was spotless. Only minor comment is there is a mild smell of drains and the plughole can overflow, when everyone is having their shower in the morning. Also the internet on reception was very helpful. (Oy, the receptionist was fantastic and even took us to the beach with her husband and daughter!) Very centrally located; the beach is right opposite. It is rather difficult to avoid all the shops on the approach so you will be running the gamut a bit, so try not to commit to buyinh anything or they will hassle you a bit. Also when you first arrive at the hotel (we came by taxi from the airport) it can be a bit difficult to spot. Best landmark is the entrance to the shopping street is 2 doors down from the Haagen Dasz ice-cream shop. (Taxi fare from airport should be about 650 baht)

For a budget stay during the high season.. this guesthouse is located at a convenient location, just right outside the shopping stalls... and 3-5 mins walk out to the Patong Beach, McDonald, Subway, etc.. The room is clean and air-conditioned. Although, we had problem with the shower heater, the repair service was efficient. Very friendly and helpful staff at Beach Road Inn.

After 5 minutes in the room we started to discus if we should try to find a new room ASAP. Dirty and disgusting. We were in Thailand for 3 weeks and we stayed at 5 different hotels. This was the only place I don't want to recommend to anyone. For sure I will sleep on the beach or stay up all night instead of spending one more night at this hotel. Hi Traveler, the hotel start with poor documentation when check in, after check in the room is unclean condition someone just used the toilet, no changing bed sheet and towel daily the reason they give is don't have the spare key to open my room and the worse thing is i forgotten my key in room i have to break through myself. the only good i can say is 3mins walk to the beach.

Beach Road Inn soi sea beach avoid this one completeley bad hotel bad service their web site bears no resemblance to the hotel or the location at the end of a noisy claustrophobic small soi with about forty stalls and shops trying to stop you and sell you some tourist junk every two steps, this was the least of the problems i experienced, when i turned up on and tried to check in to my pre-booked deposit- paid room it quickly became clear that there was no room available and the manageress took me around the corner to the patong rose guest house--owned by the same people-- the hotel here is rundown and grubby the room here was small and filthy the bedding was not changed from the previous occupant and smelled like it had not been changed for a week,took the pillowcase to reception and told the boy there it was men (thai for smells bad-dirty) yes his english was not too good, got the manageress from beach road inn asked her change the bed completely,went out for some food and to look for another hotel came back to bedding replaced but not laundered to the standards usual in thai hotels--next problem no towels --i want to have a shower and sleep after the flight and no towels same story as before have to go get the manageress they eventually produce one badly laundered towel and one filthy used towel, the next morning i walk they can stuff the rest of the booking not one more baht from me and ilocked the digital room safe for them--paybacks a bitch haha. on a positive note moved to the wanna house hotel rat-u-thit 200pee road nice clean room great friendly staff so go there instead.

a budget guesthouse.. so can't expect too much.. there is only a common hot flask at the 1st level.. thus would be a hassle if you want some hot drinks yet staying at the 3rd level.. mosquitoes here & there as per norm. A good number of TV channels variety! Staff are very lovely and helpful! Overall a good stay still. Would recommend travellers on budget and busy with outdoor activities.

Pleasant stay, quite, clean room, comfortable, nice size. Excellent location from beach, barely 10min walk and about the same to Bangla Rd where the centre of all the nightlife is. Will most likely stay here again.

very good price, very good situation, clean, it was not safety box in the room... but it was not robery in the hotel alsoo quite dificult to find : say in the same road than narry hotel

to make it short: i will come back as it was exactly what i wanted. to give some more info: i had the honeymoon suite (actualy just the biggest room i think) for 1200 a night. the room is on the first floor and has a big balcony (actuallz just the rooftop of the reservation box). that means i had a big place to sit in the afterrnoon and evening overlooking the beach road (actuallz just a narow alley with the typicall shirt and gift shops). cause the beach road inn is at thedead end of the road you can watch the tourist passing by and realizing they hace to turn around and go back. had some fun with the girls selling stuff waving down to them. it is jusr a 2 minute walk down that alley to the beach. some more info on the hotel: if you need more service (like food, breakfast or recomendadtions what to do) you can not get it there as the woman running the hotel speaks just some english (good enough for the necceassry stuff) and is also running a small shop in that alley. but if zou have been in thailand before you can get that stuff or info anywhere else. so: if you know what you want and you want a cheap (for patong) hotel close to the beach and not to far from the action (bangla is a 5 minute walk away) you can take the beach road inn. it is a little noisy in the daytime but very quiet at nuight and in the morning.

Very friendly staff, goo clean room, good location. The only negative is all the shops you have to pass every time you go from or to the hotel. Otherwise good value for money and again...very friendly staff.

Room is clear and nice, close the beach, very convenient. the staff is very kindly. Only problem is the water stop time to time, when the water is stop, you have to wait for 5 - 10 minutes to waitting the water coming again.

According to the 18 year old backpacker in the lobby upon arrival, the Beach Inn is a great place to stay due to its close proximity to the beach and Patpong nightlife. This might be true. However, our room was filthy (the filth of patpong was cleaner than our bathroom) and appeared to be a haven for homeless mosquitoes. Having booked a triple room we were naturally expecting three beds, however we had been cunningly deceived, since what looked like a 3rd bed was in fact a bed minus the mattress (said mattress being on the floor). Sleeping on concrete would have been more comfortable. The pre-mentioned matress was devoid of a duvet since it belonged to the the bed that wasn't really a bed. The staff, although friendly enough were a little perplexed as to why we didn't bring the 3rd bed issue to their attention immediately. After explaining that we only noticed the error at 2am in the morning and we didn't want to wake the receptionist who was asleep behind the front desk - they agreed to let us off the extra bed charge. If you re expectations are very low then i m sure this is a great budget place to stay but if you enjoy a few creature comforts (like an actual bed) then I would probably steer clear.

Value for money. Location is good, about 5 mins away from the beach and starbucks. And, about 10-15mins walk away from Bangla Road (where the discos and pubs are located).. walkable distance to the new mall - Junceylon too! :)

It was my 1st time staying there. The hotel looks cheap outside, but looks like 4 star hotel rooms. I was in a big room which cost 1500 baht per night with a big balcony. Location in the heart of patong, All disco & pubs etc.. is within walking distances. Overall I rate this hotel 4 stars! I am sure i will be back there again!
