I can truly recommend this resort to anyone who wants to stay in a quiet and relaxed place for a nice price. I had happy dreams listening only the sea, cicadas and geckoes! I stayed 5 nights in Andamania Beach Resort in the end of the season in April. I had booked a garden view room, but when checking in I was upgraded to a sea view room. Apparently there was room in the hotel because of the season was in the end. The room was huge and very clean. There was fresh flowers changed in to my room every day! The view to the sea was not actually from the room but from the terrace. That did not matter much because the resort is right in the beach and there was only couple steps from my terrace to the pool. My room was in the ground floor so it smelled a little bit of mould or then it was the chemical they used in cleaning. Restaurant on the beach was reasonably priced and the food was good. There are some small restaurants and massage places on the beach too. The only minus is that the resort is really far from Khao Lak village and there is no Seven Eleven nearer. The resort though offers clients free shuttle bus to Khao Lak village every hour through the day. From KL you have to negotiate price with taxi drivers which is annoying. The staff spoke really poor English, but well this is Thailand! All the staff was always very friendly and helpful.

Poor service throughout the resort. Garbages left unemptied for days at the beach. Not enough beach chairs at both the pool and beach. Our room was not ready upon arrival at 3.00 P.M. And then we get to room and carpenter is replacing floor boards. Soon after check-in we wanted to check- out but were trapped here because SiameServices cancelation policy, won't make that mistake again. Would not stay there again and would not recommend.

The Hotel is a bit out of the way .we hired a car for a few days to get about,but the hotel provides a service to take you into town. We had the jaccuzi room with sea veiw,athough these rooms appear to only have a small veiw of the sea. the room was big and bathroom also.TV but only one english channel which was BBC world news. the gardens where very nice which in walked to get to the beach .sunbeds on the beach were good and a there was a little beach bar for any drinks at good prices. breakfast was basic but you can pick from a menu which had several breackfast meals like egg bacon and eggs done to your request. staff where very nice and helpfull.Overall it is a laid back Hotel in a nice beach setting away from everywhere.there is some small beach bars and places to eat up the right hand side of the beach approx 5 mins walk and one I can reccomend is Ma Ma Greetings .

We stayed in many hotels in Thailand,..but this hotel was really below expectations for the price.at arrivel there was nobody to greet us or tell us where to go.when they showed up they asked us what we were doing here.they had no idea who we were or why we there for.no friendly greetings.no welcome drink.they brought me into a small dirty office room where i had to print out my reservation on a very slow computer,to show who we were.rooms old, door wont lock good.just a very small lock.2 cm below the door open.anything can crawl inside easy. windows in bathroom with a 2 cm space below it.bathroom, many things broken. the wooden floor makes so much noise.everything in the hotel looked like chaos.and felt like that.only burmese staff...so couldn't even speak thai with them.restaurant below expectations.no paved road to the hotel,just a dirt road.booked for 9 days checked out after 2 nights.we will never come back here again.thanks to the sawasdee site and special thanks to Ms. Wiki, she was a great help just perfect.

We just had a stay at The Andamania for 2 weeks. A great hotel, nice and quiet with a good atmosphere - very friendly staff. Breakfast was perfect and the beach is not crowded and it all took place in a very slow pace. Was a bit far from town, but no problem with a taxi. A nice hotel - but maybe something unfinished about it. Very large nice rooms, good bathrooms. The hotels is not so large, so plenty of room by the pool and beach even though it is full. Beautiful location, although it is far from everything. You can order the hotel-taxi to get around. To Kao Lak center 90 baht per person or 300 for 5 or more. Many nice excursions are perfect with Kao Lak as a starting point. Not very good food in the hotel restaurant. Good breakfast.

We had three great days at Andamania, the privat beach and the pool helped to keep our 2 years old son to be entertained as well.The surroundings is pure nature, only forest and lagoon with many birds, as a nature photographer I enjoyed it very much. Evening dinners on the beach is fantastic. Some maintanance work should be done regarding the building, and we missed the Internet from the room a bit, but still I can highly recommend, especially for families, not for teenagers who would like to go to party.

We have spent nice and restful days at the hotel. However, food was a little expensive perfectly well. The refreshment bar of morning food was OK. Unfortunately, the croissants were always away. The rooms are supernice and comfortable. However, with the everyday cleaning more care must be a little. But wars perfectly.

the hotel globally was very nice, but need to be refurbished on certain part : kitchen ceiling damaged, pool side floor defecting, beach & pool mats dirty and old, beach chairs where old...but if you just stay 1-2 days you would not see those...I would complain that too many staffs do not speak english enough to communicate with and to be helpful, but they all were very nice and smily. Food is ok and at reasonable price. Massage by the beach is wonderful and at affordable price. Pool was very well maintained and clean. The resort was spacious and clean. As the hotel was far from center, I would stay the hotel taxi rate was too high, they rather do a shuttle free service. Anyway, globally we were very happy there, as kids enjoyed.

Nice resort, though really deserted in low season. Quality of services is impacted by this... especially in the restaurant. No fruit, cook already gone at 8.30 etc. Great value for money however, we paid only 1100 TB for huge, beautiful room at the pool. I think the deluxe rooms are far better located then the jacuzzi deluxe.

We stayed in grand deluxe jacuzzi rooms which were very large, nice and clean. The garden was beautiful and beach was fine. If you want a quiet holiday with beach, flowers, and pool the Andamania Beach resort is a good choice. But there is abosultely nothing to do near the hotel, so you have to rent a motorbike or pay taxis if you want to see anything else than a beach. The restaurant is quite expensive, and the bar closes at 10 pm. The staff is friendly but with very poor language skills.

This hotel represented excellent value for money.We had a ground floor room near the pool and it was large,clean comfortable.The staff were friendly and we could not fault anything. The only niggles were nno umbrellas(it rained a lot) and we had no hot water,but as we were only checked in for 2 nights no real problem,however it has to be said that transport of some sort is essential as the place is a good 3 miles from the main road. The beach is beautiful and in the high season would have more than enough beach bars etc. opinion well worth a visit for a quiet restful break

very nice hotel ,i love it คุ้มค่ามากเลยคะ สำหรับราคาที่จองไป โรงแรมสวยดี โดยเฉพาะห้องนอนสวยมาก ,สระว่ายน้ำก็ ok มีของเล่นในสระให้เล่นด้วย (ลูกบอล ,แพยาง),อาหารเช้าก็ดี อาจจะมีให้เลือกไม่ค่อยเยอะมาก แต่ก็อิ่ม , ชายหาดที่นี่ดีมากๆเลยคะ หาดมันกว้างมาก ไม่มีชาวประมง ไม่มีชาวบ้าน ค่อยข้างสงบมาก นอกจากชายหาดจะกว้าง ยังยาวมากอีกด้วย เห้นทะเลเต็มๆ แต่โดยส่วนตัว ยังเล่นน้ำทะเลที่เขาหลักไม่ค่อยหนุกเท่าไหร่ เพราะกลัวสึนามิ ถ้าไม่มีคนอื่นมาเล่นด้วยหรือคลื่นแรง จะไม่ลงน้ำเลยคะ อ้อ ! อย่าลืมกินอาหารเย็นที่นี่ด้วยนะคะ ยุงอาจจะเยอะหน่อย อร่อยดี

Vorzügliches Hotel, traumhafter Strand, toll angelegter Garten, sehr nettes Personal, leider gibt es Probleme mit dem Wasserdruck, daher immer versuchen möglichst im Erdgeschoss ein Zimmer zu bekommen. Man sollte sich allerdings ein Moped leihen um abends in die Stadt zu kommen. Ansonsten sehr empfehlenswert wer die Ruhe mag.

wee stayed at the Andamania Beach Resort for 7 days. It is a nice quiet resort, but situated on a lovely beach. walk down the beach and you find some small thai restaurants with cheep and good food. hope to come back next year. lone madsen

Very nice great hotel, needs to provide tranport or rent motor bikes as it is a little isolated. We enjoyed our stay, the beach is very private, nice pool. Big rooms comfortable beds.

Our second stay at this hotel so it´s obvious that we like it! It´s quiet and calm. There´s sunbeds on the beach and the beach itself is long and not crowded at all. Perfect for long walks and now there´s some small food and massage-places along the beach so you don´t have to be hungry or thirsty. The hotel has big rooms with nice balconys, there´s free beachtowels. The restaurant is serving good food (but we do hope that they change the meny next year) and the service is good. But don´t get upset if the service vary from day to day. It´s just one of those charming things about this hotel. It´s clean and everyone is friendly.

Vi har bara mycket bra erfarenheter av denna tillflykt personalen härlig polen bra frukost grymt bra varierad varje dag. thailändsk menyn ok kunde varit lite bredare men den är bara att gå ut på stranden till höger så existerar allt du kan önskar.Stranden kan inte bli bättre.Rummen stor och mysiga. Stayed here for 4 nights and had a great stay. Hotel is quiet at this time of year and will appeal to people who wish for peace and romantic break. Hotel room we stayed had jaccuzi bath and the bedroom was enoromous clean and bathroom was beautiful. Beach is very clean staff at the hotel kind and polite. I recommend that you rent a motorbike for exploring the area and outside restaurants and bars if you seek more wild nightlife. A very nice resort to stay with buffet breakfast in a quiet location but very enjoyable.

Without any question, the nicest staff I have ever had the pleasure of meeting in a Thailand hotel. All very polite, helpful and genuinely friendly. The hotel is in three blocks contained in a lovely well kept garden with a great pool. Its open sided restaurant is pratically on the beach with views along the coast. Rooms are huge clean and well appointed. We downsized from the jaccuzzi room to the still big double room to be a little nearer the pool. The hotel is about 1.5k from the nearest shops and is quite isolated. Perfect for total relaxation, but can be a little too quiet for some. All in all I enjoyed my stay very much.....Thankyou Martin Watson

Very quiet stay on beach front property with spacious tasteful rooms. Rooms come with a large balcony. the resort is generous with large towels. Breakfast is by menu choice and served in their restaurant on the sea. This is a quiet resort suitable for a peaceful stay. Recommend visitors rent a small motor scooter to be able to visit other sites or go to the stores for supplies. There was a problem with the utilities, but other than that, it was a perfect stay.

July is not the season and we were only three to four couples in the hotel. We reserved a room with a Jacuzzi. The room is great and the Jacuzzi is wonderful for a romantic vacation. The hotel is far from any other places (it was very difficult to find it in the evening of check in) and I not recommend to book there a place without renting a car. The service was good and food including breakfast average. The beach and the swimming pool were very good. We had a very romantic and great vacation.

Wonderful hotel right on the beach we opted for the Grand Jacuzzi room, which was large and very tastefully appointed with two very comfortable double beds, fridge, tv and a large balcony with a great view. The bathroom was my favourite part of the stay, it was large with a rainfall shower and big jacuzzi bath. Everything in the room was a pleasure with no expense spared. The staff were freindly and attentive but unobstusive, service was quick efficient and of a high standard. At the time of our stay the hotel was being finished off for the peak season, I was a little worried about this imagining pnuematice drills and hammering, but this in no way affected out stay. I would strongly advise hiring a moped/scooter as the hotel is 3-4 Kilometers from the nearest shops and quite a long way from the main Khao Lak town but the staff will help to arrange a bike at a reasonable rate. We stayed during the low season so we pretty much had the beach to ourselves which was wonderful. This was without a doubt the nicest hotel I have ever stayed in and throughout the rest of our holiday we kept on turning to each other and saying god I wish we were back at the Andamania We will be staying here again
