Location is good and the staff are nice but Front Desk & Management are always trying to Rip You Off!! I will never go there again. Was very disappointed to find out there was not available car parking. I am not sure who to blame it on, the hotel or the booking service. I didn't have any idea the hotel was walking access only until I got there. I had to spend an hour finding the place and finding parking once I got to Pattaya. Although room was small, the bed was ok, and at least it was a room near by where I wanted to be.

not as i expected, pool small and in lobby area, sun deck/roof not been used in a year or two, the Jacuzzi had been out of service for sometime. The gym was rubbish in every aspect. Not a great hotel for couple's but if you are single and just want to be in the action it is ok, but for me, no thank you it did not really work and the web-page is well out of date, 10 years or more, quite sad

I stayed here for a week. Hotel is very old and just in need of some paint and upgrading. But don't let that deter you. Good things - employees are very friendly, hot water is plentiful (seems to be a rare precious commodity in some hotels.) Bed was comfortable. (Some hotels only use a box spring - no mattress.) Hotel is loceted in the heart of Walking Street but they put you in the upper floors away from the noise. Negatives - wifi is expensive & can only be used in the lobby. Free Breakfast is minimal.

for a single person on a budget, this is the perfect hotel, right in the middle of walking street where all the action is. Its a low priced budget hotel and thats what you get. But i found the service of the staff was fantastic and very helpful.

Facts:big rooms, clean, affordable,high floor rooms no noise at all, set american breakfast ok,newspapers in lobby, renovated and extremely nice roof garden with splendid views, indoors swimming pool... Possibly the best location/price for a place in Walking Street. In staggering distance of all the local bars - the action is literally on your doorstep! Nice/pleasant staff, always friendly and helpful. Rooms are tidy, but are old and show signs of being patched up - so don't expect gleaming surfaces. Rooms not clean, dirty sheets, towels etc. Location of the hotel was good, its on the walking street, good for singles or group of friends i would NOT recommend this hotel to couples. Booked for 3 nights and stayed only 2. For this hotel book only 1 night in advance and then if you are ok with the place you can extend your stay by paying the same price.

The hotel was a bit difficult to find initially. Once there it was ideally situated if you are in Pattaya for a party, no if you want a relaxing quiet weekend. The room was very basic, no added extra at all, but suitable I had a great stay there as all I was there for was a party and served my purpose wel. The ladies at reception were really great and very helpful at all times.

Hotel was decent and the front desk staff helpful. If you want to be where the action is i.e. go go bars, then this is THE perfect place for you. The property is right on walking street . I think I got a refurbished room with sea view and I found the room to be quite okay. If you want to take a taxi to Bangkok, don't book it via the Hotel, as it will cost you a lot less outside.

Staff were friendly and helpful. however found the rooms old and run down and questionably clean for the value. plus requested non smoking room but room smelly of stakle smoke. Due to limited room avaial;bility over the new year I had little options avaialble to myslef therefore took the gamble on a hotel on top of walking street. My last trip to Pattaya could not stay here so stayed in the Pattaya Gardens one travel report for this hotel said the staff where rude, i did not find this did find them realy helpfull, however i found the guest extreemly rude, if they talked to me in that manner i would have knocked them on there arce.All ways rember before winging if you want Hilton hotels then pay for them, as these 2 hotels are not only great value for your dollar the staff are great, rember be nice and polite & the staff will be nice & polite

Check-in was easy and staff was very nice from bell service, management, security, and maid service. Everyone remembered me and treated me with respect during my stay. The maids sometimes stayed late to clean my room after I woke up late and they had no problems. I would recommend anyone to stay here during their next visit. One thing that I didn't like was that I couldn't control the A/C in the room it was like the V2O bar. LOL!! It was cold but I just opened the window during the night and it was perfect in there.

I made a mistake to book a hotel that turns out to be smack dab in the middle of the walking street scene. The desk clerk was cursory and the room, though large, was quite primitive - dark, not very clean, inconsequential door locks. It looked out on the noisy street - noisy even in the afternoon, and I could hear too much of what was happening in nearby rooms. The hotel was clear that having in-room safes was not a wise idea. Although other staff were friendly, I could not imagine having a restful visit: I checked out the same afternoon I checked in and moved to a much pricier, but known hotel - the Marriott.

I was given room 4007 and it was grotty, especially the bathroom floor with water retention in spaces between the tiles that when you stepped on them water oozed out from the floor. Paintwork was bad. However staff were efficient and friendly. grungy looking place and comes across as dark and gloomy cause they are too cheap to turn on the stair and corridor lights during the daytime. the indoor pool looks creepy. poor lighting basically throughout the hotel. generally the whole place has a run down feel. however, the location is good if you are there for the sex industry on walking street. but the bed is too soft and is probably too old. the hot water is iffy at times. worst of all is that i had to kill 7 roaches during the two nites i stayed there. the breakfast is pathetic but then again if you are really staying there for the nightlife, no one really takes breakfast seriously. the bottom line - if hygiene and ambience matters to you, you should stay away. but if p***y is more important, it's ok for a short stay.

For my third visit to Pattaya I chose this hotel so I would be in the thick of the entertainment scene - and I was not disappointed. No luxuries, but I didn't expect any at this price. Remarkably quiet considering the location, probably because I got a room away from the noise. Companion friendly, just had to pay for the extra breakfast. Will be back next year.

This is the third time I have stayed at the Diamond Beach Hotel during the past 15 months. I think the hotel offers the best value for money of any hotel in Pattaya. The delightful and helpful staff are the backbone of the operation. E mail is now available in the lobby and I believe that renovations have taken place since my last stay - the walls looked repainted. Two bugs - the swimming pool is indoors and the cost of a telephone call. Bring a mobile !!

Although the rooms were a little dirty and could do with a little restoration, however for the price you cannot complain at all. Even though the hotel was situated within the heart of walking street, I barely heard a squeak from the noise outside. However the greatest asset of this hotel was the staff, who were fantastic throughout my stay. Very helpful, very informative the rooms were cleaned very quickly, the mini bar was reasonable the food was good. A big thumbs up from myself and I will certainly stop their again on my return.
