Io e mio marito siamo appena rientrati dalla Thailandia e l ultimo hotel nel quale abbiamo soggiornato è il Phra Nang Inn. La sua posizione è davvero esagerata! Praticamente davanti allo sbarco delle long tail e all incrocio delle due arterie dello shopping e dei locali d intrattenimento!! Il personale è cortese e simpatico e l albergo rispecchia le tre stelle: pulito, semplice ma nello stesso tempo accogliente e in stile thai. La piscina è grande anche se un pò in ombra. La colazione è abbondante e delizioso è il gustarsela nella terrazza proprio di fronte al mare!!! La camera è comoda e noi avevamo una bella vista piscina e mare! Insomma buon rapporto qualità-prezzo!!! Senz altro ci torneremmo!!

The hotel is a top spot, especially for families. No trace of sleaze to be seen. Facilities excellent for kids, two safe pools, and across the laneway to the beach which is also very safe for kids. Food in the hotel restaurant is above expectations also. In fact the whole AoNang area is very good for families. Hotel is located right in the centre of things as well. We liked it so much we stayed an extra 3 days.

The hotel may look run down, very different from the photos online but the rooms are just ok.The room's main door has gap which mosquitoes can enter. Breakfast normal. It is near the beach that is good. A little expensive.

We stayed in the Suite at the front of the hotel with a balcony looking over the beach and one looking over the pool. The rooms were really clean with a small kitchentte, living area and TV in the bedroom. Breakfast was more than adequate and location was great. Would definitely stay again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay until the last day upon checking out. When it came to paying any outstanding bills we were presented with costs for a bottle of fairly run of the mill (house) rose wine to accompany our new years eve gala dinner, of approximatley £26, with an additional service charge of £5. The waitress that waited at our table throughout the new years eve gala was uninterested, unsmiling and lethargic. In fact, I ended up collecting the bottle of wine myself from the bar area.In addition to this, we were also being charged for a supoosed broken tumbler which we disputed, and voiced our disatisfaction at the way we had been treated. Overall, the hotel is a great location if you want to be in the heart of all that's happening. It has a good restaurant with a fairly extensive variety of breakfast options. The young lady that cleaned our room daily was fantastic as were some of the other staff. That said, as a frequented traveller to Thailand, I would not recommend this hotel based on the fact that I did not find the staff as welcoming, friendly and accomodating as I have done at other hotels

I booked this hotel in July 2010 at a reasonable rate. It wasn't until many weeks later that we were told that the rates we were given were incorrect and should that we will have to be charged 2010-2011 rates. I tried to negotiate for a fair reduction, but to no avail. Given we were travelling during peak season and that there was little options available to us by this stage, we agreed to pay the additional difference. SiamWebHosting.com were a website that I would have previously recommended, but not anymore.

The hotel is ideally loctated with a gorgeous pool etc. However management was not ideal. The first night we had no hot water and it took a day to repair. There was also a problem with the generator. The power was off for a day due to electrical maintenece in the area however the diesel fumes from the generator would come through the air vents and into the room which was not ideal.

we booked a beach front room, too bad, it was on 1st floor, so called beach front .. the view is block by trees and wires .. we also waited for an hour for the hotel to get our room ready, even we arrived at 2.30pm.. on the last day we stay there .. there is no electricity and water ! >< it is really pain in the ass but luckily it was our last day there, but they said whole krabi has no electricity, so we understand that part.. but no water supply? erm.. the breakfast is good,but our advise is do no try dinner there, it is really not hotel standard. there is also no children play room.. >< overall, it is a ok hotel.

1. Generally fine though room a bit small. 2. Has mosquitoes on and off. 3. Be careful as housekeeping left my balcony door opened! Came back late afternoon and saw balcony door half opened. Plus it just had a heavy down pour. I usually lock and latch the bottom for balcony. 4. Housekeeping also on another day, opened my door and left it wide ajar even though i put out the not to disturb sign + the housekeeping personnel was nowhere to be seen. 5. Receptionists - everyone was very nice and helpful. 6. Restaurant wise: pretty alright. Some mosquitoes. But for night dinner, the staff help put some mosquito coils around where there are customers. 7. Oh, no supply of tooth brush - caught unaware. haha. 8. The free transport service that came with my booking - the hotel driver did not turn up even after 1hour15minutes. The booking service siameservices helped arranged for me to be sent to the hotel. Well, the hotel gave me a free dinner and lots of apologies to compensate. Point is, i would have preferred an on time pick up as it was my first trip by myself there and seeing all the passengers were picked up before me even though i was the first to leave the plane and immigration.

Overall, the hotel was a good deal - good location, clean rooms with excellent service (they were quick to fix our broken sliding door lock; helped to chase away a huge frog we found on our room door when we came back to our room). I wouldn't say there was anything bad about the place but something they can improve on is the breakfast buffet spread (should have more variety every day), and perhaps to provide mosquito repellents in every room. We enjoyed our stay there from 8th - 11th December 2009. Will definitely stay there again if we ever go back to Krabi. Highly recommended!

We arrived at the Phra Nang Inn and were really disappointed. The reception was a rundown room and hotel felt the same. There were too many holes around the decking that our 14 month old would have fallen down given the chance. They had very small rooms and bathrooms and we could not stay there so we found accomodation next door at the Aonang Villa which was about the same price but a hundred times better. There was no comparison between the both as far as standard goes. The staff however, were very understanding and lovely toward us which we really appreciated.

Simple hotel, simple management. Don't believe the pictures, it's very small. We stayed at this hotel for six nights with two little children. Despite having reserved a family room through SiameServices, we were suprised to get a tiny room instead because the air con in the room for us was supposedly broken. it took them two nights to fix it, although I suspect the manager lied about it and just put other guests in there. After pleading for a change for two days they moved us to the larger family room on the pool which was much nicer. When we checked out, an exceptionally rude receptionist - Chantina Ch. tried to accuse us of stealing a pillow!!!???!! and would not compensate us for the two nights we had to spend sqweezed in a tiny room yet paid the highest rate for. That was a major turn off. Also you must know that the sewage comes up into the bathroom every day, making the room smell awful. The location is nice though, on the beach and close to all the shops and resteraunts. We will not go back - there are nicer looking resorts down the road.

Nous avons passés 4 nuits dans cet hotel,fin avril 2008.La principale qualité de cet etablissement est sa situation face à la baie d Ao Nang. Les chambres pas tres grandes sont décorés avec gout.Nous avions une chambre au RdC qui donnait directement sur la piscine,Sympa. Bon buffet de déjeuner et personnet préveant. Le bureau d aiccueil meriterait d etre plus chaleureux.Bon rapport qualité prix dans l ensemble.

The hotel is unfortunately a big construction at this point in time. The reception, parts of the restaurant, basement and some rooms are under construction, so be prepared for some noise during day time. The overall hotel is not that nice to justify the fairly high price, even though perfectly located in the middle of Ao Nang.

A very nice hotell excellent rooms. We had a nice time och vill probably return next year. One thing was bad. We had booked a deluxe room but when we came to the hotell it was overbooked so we had to have a standard room. If we did not complain we had not got any deluxe room at all, but we got a deluxe room after one night. We had our friends wwith us who was their first time on Thailand. I Think this is very bad and i hope that it will be better next year.

We had booked the room and paid up front before arriving. When we got there, they told us the room was not available and that we would have to stay in another smaller room with no discount offered. We weren't happy at all. Staff were quite rude and it took them ages to sort something out. It seemed to be a recurring theme as we heard two other groups having the same issue the next day. The water also stopped working one morning so we couldn't shower or use the toilet and it took them all morning just to get someone to come and take a look at it. Overall, wouldn't recommend this place.

Sad story for us about this hotel and how we where acted as guest. Our reservation was made 9 month ago, De Lux room, and when we arrived they did´t have our room for 2 nights. We changed hotel after 1 night depending 4 beds in a singel room and they forgott that we was 4 people. Standard room with 4 beds!!! After we changed we wanted our money back and they promized 3 times in different ways, chech, cash and transfer the money to our new hotel. Today 14 days after we still don´t have our money!! Never, never stay at this hotel.
