Accommodation and facilities:
The bungalows beach front are great. We had our 3 babys with us, and it was big enough. Breakfast are very good. We didn't try the lunch, but diner was OK. We found the prices of the restaurants on this bay very expensive (prices are multiplicated by 3 compared with the rest of Thailand). And as you can't go anywhere else, you re obliged to eat there. It's also very long to arrive on this bay, so I wouldn't recommend to go there for only 1 or 2 nights. You can take the ferry from Puket; it's very comfortable, safe, and quite cheap, but it takes 4 hours (1 hour stop in Tonsai Bay, and 45 more minuts to reach the bay of the hotel). And there are only 2 ferrys per day (7 am and 1pm I believe). You can of course take speed boat from Puket or from Tonsai, or even long tail boat, but it's a lot more expensive. I definitly recommend this hotel; it's quiet, beautiful, people are nice, but it's better to know that it's more expensive than Tonsai.

This is a resort of two halves. The location is beautiful, quiet and picturesque. However, while the accommodation is reasonably priced the mark-up on food and drink is obscene! I paid 147 baht for a lemon juice! They have cheap buffets but the food isn't great. However down the beach is a great little shack called Jasmin that does delicious food and dirt cheap!

the hotel itself turned out to be much better than it d been described on the tripadvisor. Yes, you do have a feeling like the resort lacks good gardening . housekeeping is quite good and the toilet doesnt stink. Brekkie was not tasty. they have a tiny swimming pool if you are interested in it but it was clean as well. what I really loved was a small private beach as it was quiet and clean and amazingly good water in comparison with Phi Phi Island Village which often has a pretty low tide in the morning. you can hear what your neighbours are doing and saying if you are staying in the building so I had to get up early morning with my neighbours divers.

In my opinion the resort itself is very well kept. The deluexe room had an extremly great location near the ocean with majestic views of bamboo and mosquito islands. However there is a long walking distance between the room and the reception/leamtong beach. The room is very nice but a little bit old and not well kept for a 6500 bhat/night room. Breakfest and service were ok however the reception staff need to know better english.

nice hotel in general. We had the cheapest rooms, very far away from everything (reception, pool, beach). The rooms looked amazing on the pictures: not so good in reality (the bathrooms are very old: we did not have hot water, and no water at all on the last day), but very spacious, quiet, and confortable (except for the bathroom). The lady in the reception agreed to give us a villa for 30 min before check out on our last day so we could take a shower before leaving: they were not worth the price, as the balcony look old and the view on the sea is not as extraordinary as some other places in the island. the people working in the hotel very very very nice and helpfull for everything. We took all our meals (except breakfast as they are included) outside the hotel: and really enjoyed the gipsy village, with all the joyfull children playing on the beach, and the good and cheap food (buffet in the hotel looked awfull!) this hotel is really far from Tonsaï center, but we booked trough the hotel reception a 6 hour trip with a taxi-boat and loved it. It was also the opportunity to discover the gipsy village: maybe we wouldn't have done the move if we had stay some place else, and definitely we would have missed something. Ask for the place to watch the sunset as there are 5 min walk from the hotel and really great (not crowded, people don't know about it)

Reservation service:

Deluxe cottage standard is OK, but other than that the hotel is very lacking. Staff are friendly and try hard, but they are too few of them (that's the impressions anyway) and so the impression is a lack of service. Trying to get lunch is a mission as the hotel is more interested in the daily groups of Tours that unload their boats for lunch than the people staying in the hotel. The facilities ourside the room are poor, poor quality and withouth some attention will only contine to decline, even the newely renovated room sare already showing signs of being tierd .

Accommodation and facilities:
I really liked this resort. Prices were reasonable. The resort is located at the end of a strip of beach and staff was really friendly and helpful. No wifi and internet available only in the lobby for 4 baht per minute. The only thing I didn't like was that we had to walk a bit to get to our room, but I loved how remote and quiet it was. We made the mistake of not communicating to the resort of when we were planning to arrive so there was no one to pick us up from the ferry site. We ended up getting jipped by the longboat guy and a shouting fight broke out between two longboat guys over our fare. We arrived in time to check into our room, change and quickly walk to the other side of the small island to see the beautiful sunset that we will cherish! The resort has their own longboats and tour packages. We took the 4 hour snorkeling that took us to three sites. One island was a reserve and had to pay to land. We were not told about the fee (200 baht) so we decided to just go to the next island. Our driver/longboat didn't understand English but we managed and he was pretty cool. The resort has 2 dinning options, seperate breakfast and lunch areas. The first night we had a fantastic buffet bbq dinner with the most amazing rice. I had the beef skewer and my honey had the bbqed squid. They had a lip-sinc show that was included in the price. You had the option to eat at other restaurants along the strip. I loved this beach area. It was not the heart of town, rather remote, but had a few other resorts so that we were not the only ones there. I would go back. Oh, this place had the easiest shower and great pressure. The tv was very small and had terrible reception, but we didn't really go there for tv,so that was not a problem.

Reservation service:
I had several questions so we had several email exchanges before we finalized. The service says it could take up to 24 hours to respond but response was pretty quick.

Perfect situated for those who (like ourselves) want some private beach in combination with really good snorkelling. We had a deluxe bungalow (no 102) in front of the beach with perfect snorkelling just 50-100 meter straight out in the sea (with anemones, clownfishes, moray eel etc). The breakfast and lunch buffet was OK but not very exciting. We had therefore all (three) dinners in other restaurants, one in Holiday Inn and two in Sawasdee. Room was good - OK standard in combination with perfect location and view. The location thing is really the unique selling point for Natural Resort since it is placed as the last resort up in the north corner . It is a perfect combination of the best location to a very good price and there are 3-4 other restaurants on the same beach, as an alternative to the food at the resort. Staff was really friendly but the English skills varied.

Reservation service:
Perfect booking service! We paid both the hotel and the bus/boat transfer from home and it was both easy and safe.

Phi Phi Natural Resort

Accommodation and facilities:
It’s like this – if you want to stay on perhaps the best beach (Laem Tong) on Phi Phi but you can’t afford to pay $300+/night and are the kind of person who doesn’t require 5 star luxury or service then this place is for you. I looked at it like property – you buy the worst house on the best street. We booked this through siameservices.com (which I had read good things about on Trip Advisor) about 2 months before our trip and of all the hotels and guesthouses we pre-booked, Phi Phi Natural Resort was the only one that required full payment before arrival. On booking through SiameServices.com we payed an initial deposit and then the balance about a month before we arrived – all of this happened smoothly and with no problems. Having not found a cheap and easy way to get to Phi Phi from Patong in Phuket where we were, I rang Phi Phi Natural Resort the day before we were to arrive to arrange a transfer. They arranged each leg of the trip – picked us up in a mini-van to go to the pier, directed us to the ferry to phi phi which took us to a Ao Ton Sai (TonSai bay - the main tourist beach of Phi Phi), transferred us to another boat and then took us up to our beach (Laem Tong Beach) where a resort long-tail boat took us in to shore. We paid for the transfer on arrival at the resort which cost us about AUD40 each (for all bits of the journey). Yes, there was a car and 3 boats to get to our final destination but it was defiantly worth it! The only thing I would change about the transfer would be I would book it with the accommodation in Australia so I didn’t have to worry about it! When we arrived, the resort staff carried our luggage out of the beautiful long-tail boats and up the beach to the resort where we were greeted with a welcome drink. We checked in and were taken to our room which was the cheapest twin room (standard room) available – town house style accommodation away from the beach for 2450 baht per night (approximately AUD125 per night). The room was more than adequate and if you have been staying in cheaper guesthouses you will find it great. Quite big rooms with veranda, excellent air conditioning, safe, mini-bar, tea & coffee making facilities, toiletries – just those little touches that make all the difference. My only word of warning would be that they are a bit of a hike from the restaurant, pool, reception and the beach – I would say about 300-400 metres on a bit of an incline – it was enough that we would pack a bag with our stuff for the day, go to breakfast and not come back until late afternoon! As you might be gathering, I had no major complaints with the resort itself but the service and facilities are pretty basic. The food available in the restaurant is well below average for Thai food (although the view is amazing), the pool is average and a bit grotty and there are no other ‘resort’ style facilities like a gym, hire equipment or activities (traditional craft making etc) like the other resorts have. This place has soooo much potential but they don’t seem to know how to ‘up-sell’ –their promotion of extra items is non-existent. For example, there is no real information about available tours (some sun-faded print outs of information in a window only), gear you can use or hire (I asked if they had canoes and they said they could arrange one for me for what was I think about $25 for a few hours but this was not advertised). They have a massage area which is crummy and again not advertised – you have to ask at reception how much it is. You also have to book at reception which I think puts a lot of people off – they wander up to the massage lady and ask and are directed to the reception but they can’t really be bothered going to the reception so the sale is missed. All the other resorts are along the main beach but one plus for Phi Phi Natural was there private beach. I have read posts here that have said what a crappy looking beach it was and they felt cheated that the very small stretch of sand was there ‘private beach’ and so they just went to the main beach. These people have missed out. Although not good for swimming, this little beach is amazing for snorkelling – straight off the beach! Just bring rubber thongs you can wear in the water so you can get past the rocks. Go out to the edge of the reef where the water drops off to see all kinds of marine life including little nemos in their little homes! It was truly amazing! Overall, I was more than happy with our stay at Phi Phi as this island is just a magical place and we could not have afforded to stay at the other resorts on this beach (Erawan Palms Resort, Holiday Inn and Zeavola). We did lunch almost everyday at Holiday Inn (which I will point out cost us about 1000 baht each day (about $50) for 2 meals (burger / pizza / salad), 2 cocktails and sometimes another juice or coffees). But it was just sooo nice there – right on the beach, tables on the sand and the atmosphere was super relaxed while the service was attentive without being over the top. We also had a cocktail at sunset at Zeavola and although the cocktails cost as much as you would pay in Australia (and we didn’t eat there as the meals were certainly more), I would definitely recommend it.

Reservation service:

Accommodation and facilities:
This place is pretty cool. From the pier to the hotel costed us 700 Baht, and when we checked out it costed 600 Baht to get back. We arranged our own longboats so I think we got pretty good prices. Be carefull when you come back because if you ride with some of the Sea Gypsies, they will take you to an inconvenient part of the beach when you return to Tonsai Bay. It's not horrible, but they do park their boats at the end of the beach and it's a pain to walk back to town with luggage in the rain. Besides the longboats, this hotel is pretty great. The room was really great. Very clean with a nice bed and good safety box. I suggest shopping in Tonsai Bay before you come out because there is no place here to shop that's cheap. Things are a little pricier on this side of the island. The Resort Beach is nice, quiet, private and very very hot. The main beach is cool, but the portion of the beach that belongs to the resort is the best area. If you stay here, walk to the other end of the beach and relax at the Holiday Inn's beach. You can grab some beach chairs and a hammock and chill out. It's easy and this part of the beach is the clearest water. For a sunset, walk through Erawan Beach Resort. If you want, they have a restaraunt that has a great view of the sunset. It's a nice place to have appetizers and get a cocktail. For dinner, if you want to splurge, go next door to Zeavola. It's very stylish and delicious. For two people, we paid about 30 dollars for dinner and drinks. The hotel grounds are really nice. But, there is a elementary school in the middle of the property. But, that doesn't really get in the way and I never even saw any kids. The pool is pretty good, it's 0degreez. But, if you look down where the water spills out it can be very dirty. I would give the pool a 3 out of 5. The restaraunt near the pool is really cool. It overlooks the pool and the ocean. For breakfast, the buffet is really good. The crouissants were amazing. Overall, i give this place a 4.3 out of 5. It's a great, relaxing, peacefull and beauitfull beach resort. But, it's pretty boring. There aint much to do out here. For the money we paid (1400 Baht) it was perfect.

Reservation service:
We booked 3 nights but only stayed 2. The booking agency refunded our 3rd night 100%. They have good prices and good service.

Accommodation and facilities:
This resort is located in the Northernmost tip of the island, which means that it is the farthest from TonSai port.So once you are there, you are cut off from the rest of the world which can be an exhilarating feeling. The bungalows are attractive and well maintained. The gardens are full of fruit and flower trees and the walk from the lobby to the bungalow is very picturesque and interesting. The resort has a small private beach that is very good. Snorkelling was very good just 50 metres from the resort, and you cound walk to it in low tide. Food is a bit expensive, though this is understandable considering the logistics. The staff are very friendly, though english is a problem. My family and I had a good time and will definitely come back for more

Reservation service:
Very good as always

This resort has already seen its best times. The price to value ratio is not justified compared with other resorts in the same category. The staff is nice. The location is also nice if you don't mind to be away from the world. Swimming and snorkeling is very limited due to tides and currents. Boat trips to the main part of Ko Phi Phi are expensive. (700-800 THB). I would not choose this resort anymore.

Reservation service:
Exzellent service. I recommend it.
