a truly magnificent location, waking up with the sun rising over dalam bay was glorious. the location of this hotel is its high point, the low point is the hotel has no elevator so if you are on a higher floor (like i was) you have to carry your own luggage upstairs. Only 4 floors high though so ain't too bad. Rooms were spotless clean too, which is good

Great hotel, we had booked a mountain view room but our room had some ocean view, I guess we were lucky! The hotel is located very close to everything, and a 2 min walk from the pier. The room was big with everything you d want; balcony, beach towels, TV, AC, fridge, safe etc. The only downside was the loud music from the bars at Ao Long Bay, you could hear this until about 2 AM. This is probably a problem throughout most of Phi Phi, unless you go to the remote parts. Mind that check in starts at 2PM. When you take an early boat you'll have to wait for a while. They will store your luggage for you for free.

The rooms and location of this Phi Phi Hotel are pretty good. Nice size rooms and location is very close to the pier. But they have has so many rules it's like being on a school trip. When we arrived the receptionist who served us was called Ying. I showed her the confimation email and voucher on my iPhone, but she wouldn't let us check in because we didn't actually print the voucher even though they had our booking in the system. We asked if they could print it out, but she blatantly said that the hotel does not have a printer (which I find very hard to believe). We told her we were tired after a long trip and asked if it alright to check in first and print out the voucher later. Ying the receptionist, instead of being helpful or understanding, was extremely rude to us. She would not let us check in until we printed the voucher and even said I not care about what you say . So we had to go find a internet cafe to print it out. After we check in they told us the other rules in this hotel: 1. No non-registered guest in your room after 10pm, even though it is a double room for 2 people. And I believe they fine you 2000 baht if you break this rule. 2. No late check out past 11am. They will charge you 500 baht for every hour that you check out late. 3. No food or drinks by the pool. So you can't sit with a cocktails or even a can of coke by the pool (which was btw quite small). 4. Children are not allowed in the pool even though there had a shallow children pool. We actually saw the staff tell 2 kids that they could not swim and told them to leave the pool area. After this I could imagine spending all 3 night we booked there. I immediately called the online agency where I booked the hotel and asked if they would refund they the other 2 nights. They said it was against their policy to refund after the we had check-in but when I explained to them what happened they agreed to refund the other 2 nights (Thank God!). We ended up getting a room in a nice, clean guest house with a friendly, helpful receptionist for 1/3 the price of this hotel. If you want to stay in a nice hotel with a pool there are many more choices on Phi Phi: PP Cabana, PP Casita, PP Banyan Villa, PP Palm Tree, PP Villa (and I m sure they don't treat their guest like children with all those rules)

Booking service is good. They speak very good English and they will try their best to help you. It was against their policy to refund after the we had check-in, but they did anyway because of our unpleasant experience with Ying the receptionist.

We and our friends had a wonderful trip in Phi Phi island this May by staying at this hotel. It is not the best but overall is just good. For families like us, with little kids together, we really had a good choice with Phi Phi Hotel. The location is good, and the reception girls were kindly enough to meet all my requests including low floor, quiet area etc. Only 1 thing not making me happy was they refused to refill water for our bottles during breakfast, which might indicate how valuable the driking water is in this island.

Although we normally prefer bungalows we have chosen PPH for the second time because of its perfectly central location(very close to th pier,in the middle of all activities )and because it's rather quiet.We did not want to walk for half an hour every night to get back to our bungalow ( Long beach) , be blitkrieged by monster techno sound till 2 a.m ( Loh Dalum)or do alpinism to reach our room ( View point). The pool ( if you need it) is O.K,so is the buffet type breakfast, rooms are clean .We are altogether satified again with this hotel.

Phi Phi hotel was a pleasent surprise, definitely more than we expected. First, the location is convenient, very close to the place from where you can take boats to tour the island. The facilities of the hotel are quite nice and the room was kept clean. Buffet breakfast was standard. The only issue is the music/noise from the nearby bars that stops only at 3-4am. However, compared to the other accomodation that we ve seen on the island, we d definitely recommend Phi Phi Hotel.

We ve booked the transfer from Phuket airport to Koh Phi Phi with SiamWebHosting service. It took around 6-7 email exchanges to finally get all the information from the agent about the transfer options and costs. The driver was waiting for us at the airport and took us to the Phuket pier. However, once there we were asked to buy the tickets for the boat even though we have already paid for everything (car + boat transfer) in advance. It took 20min and several calls to Phi Phi hotel and SiamWebHosting customer service to convince the driver to pay for the tickets. This was really a hassle and should be avoided by SiamWebHosting providing some kind of e-tickets or vauchers.

Had a mountain view room as beach views were booked out, but still enjoyed the view. It is very very close to the pier, so it was easy to carry our heavy suitcases. The island itself was disappointing, its a big shopping market with beaches u can find anywhere. I dont scuba dive but i am told this is the reason to go to PP. If u dont scuba Koh Chang is more beautiful in our opinion.

Undeniably good location as it was near the pier & everything was just nearby. However, there wasn't any elevator available for us to get to our room. Moreover, the rooms do need some makeover.

The hotel is very close to the pier, to all night life, to the shops, but it is still quietly at night. Good view to the beach. For 2 nights (not more) - it is perfect place to stay, you can visit Maya Bay early in the morning almost alone, as all the tourists from Phuket and Krabi are there from 10-11 a.m. It is just awesome!

We are a returning customers in Phi Phi Hotel. This year we reserved the Ton Sai Suite at the highest floor (5th floor) for 2 weeks (room n. 514) and the last night we moved in the Maya suite at 4th floor for the last night. The Ton Sai suite is very spacious and has a wonderful overview of the Ton Sai village and the Sea. Both rooms were very clean and comfortable. The bed on the contrary was to much hard for me since I have problems with my low back; the chambermaid gave me an additional coat to put on the mattress in order to let it more soft. Anyway I suggest this Hotel for several practical reasons: Perfect position, save in case of tsunami, clean, and with a gentle staff but most of all value for money.

Tonsai suite had a malfunctioning AC (didn't have gas in it) so the room was extremly hot due to the fact it's facing south. Had BED BUGS in the room - I actually killed about a dozen of them before going to bed! I don't expect that for a 3700 bhat/night room!!!! Decent breakfest. Staff knows basic english.

We stayed in a Mountain View room on the 4th floor (Room 421) for 3 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The room was huge, clean and tidy. We had a small balcony, large modern bathroom with a screen separating the shower from the toilet and sink area. The air-con worked great, we got 2 free bottles of water each day. The pool was nice although they could use more sun lounges. They had 24hr reception and key minding service and free hire of beach towels. The location was great! Only a short walk to anywhere on the Island, and very quiet with no noise from any of the beach bars. My only complaint is that breakfast was pretty boring. It was the same every day and quite a limited selection. Overall a fantastic hotel and we would definitely stay there again.

This is an average hotel but it is in a good location if you want to get off the boat and go straight to your hotel. It can be quite noisy and it doesn't have a lift which is not great when you have to walk up 5 flights of stairs every day.

We got a mountain view room. It was nice and clean.Our room was on the 5th flr and I had to drag my 7 months pregnant belly up to the top flr!But it wasn't an issue anyway as I see it as some sort of exercise.We only had little problems with the very hard bed and the shower hole.We were dropping our bodies to the bed after checking in the hotel when thud!! . It was just so hard, my body was aching for few days after that. The shower hole~the shower place was flooded in no time when you on the water..so for the next person to use the shower room, we had to wait for all the water to go away. Location: Very strategic.You can even see the hotel from the ferry when you arrive the island. Breakfast:OK.Acceptable. We did not hear any loud music even when it was peak season. I can only hear them when we open our balcony.And sometimes you can hear your neighbour.

It lies by the pier, in the village. On phi phi you go by longtail boat wherever you go if you dont want to hike through the forest(and over the mountains) on small paths, not so easy to climb with flipflops. So we where satisfied to have choosen a hotel in the village. And I think this is one of the best and have good value for the money. Very nice room, a pool, good breakfast. Though we had booked montain view we could see the ocean. Free safe deposit box in room. No complaint.

Overall is good except that we are only allowed to check in to Phi Phi Hotel at 2pm where our ferry has arrived before 11am. The hotel didn't allow us to check in early and we have spent 3-4 hours at the lobby waiting. Apprently, i had booked for Seaview and they had mistakenly given me a mountain view room and i had to report to the counter by walking down from 5th floor because the hotel had no lift service. The breakfast could taste better if the chef can constantly update the menu. To be honest, i find the room a little run down and i think the room needs a little renovation and touch up. However, the view from the room is too awesome (no word could actually express the beauty of the view) because i am able to see part of the island, the jetty, the blue sky and the sea from the room.

Excellent location. Our sea view room lived up to expectations with a fantastic view! Hotel itself is a little dated however room was clean and tidy. Beds are very hard! Breakfast was adequate with a choice of western food aswell as thai. Pool is very small for such a big hotel, but with a beach like that who needs a pool! Overall a pleasant stay at Phi Phi Hotel.

Very good location, about 2 mins walk from the pier. We had a sea view room which had a balcony and great views. Found a bed beg on the first night, which was a little off putting. The hotel doesn't have a lift which can be a pain when lugging your rucksack up the stairs, especially if you are on the 5th floor. Staff were quite helpful and check in was very quick. They have a swimming pool, but the water doesn't seem to have chlorine, it was another chemical which they used, that dried out your skin. Also they only had a max of 6 sunbeds. Just feel that this was hotel was a little overpriced for what you got.

We have stayed at this hotel several times on Koh Phi Phi. Our room which was on the 4th floor with seaview was just so fantastic & perfect. The room was very clean & the staff very polite. Breakfast which we were able to make on 2 occassions due to our late night partying was wonderful with western & thai food available which you pick yourself as much as you want. Ample orange & apple juice ice cold for all those with sore heads from the night or early morning before. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone who should visit Phi Phi island. Great location & Plenty entertainment available in easy or staggering distance!!

Hotel is right near the wharf on Phi Phi. Very central with just a short distance to walk to either bay (swimming one side, transport to Phi Phi Don the other). Pool was lovely for a refreshing dip before strolling down to restaurants for tea. Roon fairly basic, but clean and reasonable quality.

The hotel was the biggest in the island so we spotted it before we got off the ferry. The room and breakfast were fine. We stayed on the 5th floor which had a great view, but there were no lifts so it was a bit of a hike getting up the stairs with luggage on a hot day. Staff were ok but not as friendly and helpful as in other places we stayed.

Great little hotel, central location on this small island, with the best access to the beach ( 5 mins walk) and shops/stalls. Fifth floor seaview rooms offer stunning views (ask for odd numbered rooms 501,03,05 etc, for the best views over the best beach) but the stairs may be hard going. 4th floor views are also good (odd numbered rooms again)Breakfast is fine if repetitive. A recent problem is the noise ( boom boom from bass speakers)from the sunset bar on the beach, which starts at 10pm and goes on till the early hours. Take ear plugs. No point in trying a different hotel, none of the better site will be immune fron the racket, although the pricey cabana does have rooms a bit further away. Still its ou second time, so can't complain

This hotel is located just off the pier when you dock at Phi Phi. As there are no cars on Phi Phi Island it was perfect location and very easy for me and 3 other girlfriends to stroll our rather large suitcases to the hotel. We only stayed 3 nights but wish we booked for longer. The rooms and facilities are great, very clean and no complaints. Walking distance to the main bars and we even walked 10 or 15 minutes to the beach parties at night. The pool was nice but quite small. This didn't bother us as not many people were using the pool anyway. This hotel is great value for money. I can't comment on the included breakfast, unfortunately we never woke up early enough to take advantage of it..

Hi we stayed at Phi Phi Hotel for 5 nights in February 2009 we were a group of 11 people we had no complaints at all the rooms were cleaned every day and fresh towels provided the breakfast was nice self service the pool is a bit small we went to the beach at the back of the hotel every day it is a great beach. The hotel is clean and modern but sadley no lifts for those who need them (we did not) over all great holiday and would stay again at the Phi Phi hotel

This is a bad hotel. Everything is grotty, humid, smelly, dirty etc. It has all the flaws that (unfortunately) come with phi phi accomodation - and then some. Trouble is, I can't think of anything really good in Ton Sai or Ao Lo Dalum. You have to go to the east coast for good service - but then, what's the point of going to phi phi. Depressing, but true.........

Once again it was a great place to stay. Great location very close to the pier, and the beach is a 2 minute walk behind the hotel. Rooms are big and always clean with two bottles of complimentary water each day. Reception are always happy and helpful. And if you feel like sitting in to watch some tv they actually have perfect tv reception and movie channels in english (unlike some of the other hotels in Thailand.)Rooms have a nice sized safe to store belongings. Breakfast was nice: selection of eggs, toast, cereal, bacon, noodles, sausages, fruits, yoghurt, juices, coffee..something to keep everyone satisfied. Nothing bad to say about the stay here, would stay here again and again no questions asked!

Fantastiskt trevligt hotell. Snyggt och prydligt. Inte mycket i övrigt att önska. Underbar utsikt, trevlig personal, god frukost. Lite smolk i glädjebägaren blev det dock vid utcheckningen då personalen konstaterade att det saknades en TESKED från vårt rum. De lät oss inte slippa undan med mindre än att vi betalade 30 bath för den simpla skeden. Tråkigt att ett så bra hotell inte inser vilken badwill en dylik snikenhet ger...

Great location, in the middle of all the Phi Phi action (Pier, markets, bars, restaurants). Simple but adequate room (not recommended for honeymooners). The only downfall was the loud noise from nearby beach bars at night, although im sure all the hotels have the same problem. Oh, and lock up all razers as the cleaner stole mine! :-(

It was great! Convenient, Friendly Staff, and Very Clean. Breakfast was ok. Pool was a nice plus. Massage parlours and even laundry service is slightly more expensive near the hotel, walk further down and you'll have many more cheaper options. There are three English channels (movies and AXN) just in case.

The hotel is placed right in the middle of Phi Phi town and only 5 min. from the ferry pier. Nice room with everything you need, big breakfastbuffé. I would recomend to stay a day or two because that the beach is not very nice with longtail- and speedboats everywhere.

Cozy Place had a warm friendly feel when we first arrived. The room was quite large and clean. The staff were very quick to pressure us into booking a tour through them. They guarenteed that they would get a good price for us, however, when on the trip we found out the others got more for less money. The tour operators picked us up two hours late. So DON'T book tours through Cozy- shop around! After the first day the staff were not as friendly and became very slack at cleaning our room (i.e., refreshing the towels and supplying water). Overall I wouldn't stay at this place again, would be okay for a one night stop over.

The hotel was very average and for the price the rooms definately need an upgrade. My husbands duvet cover was torn and despite asking for it to be changed for the six nights we were there it was never done. The rooms were never cleaned properley and the hotel has a terrible problem with blocked surage. Our toilet was blocked for 3 days with little concern from the hotel. We had to ask for toilet paper and to have tea and coffee replaced. We had young boys staying in the room between ourselves and our daughters and they entertained ladyboys every night. There seemed to be no control over who came in and out of the hotel. On the positive side the hotel is well situated and close to the markets and beaches. I would not choose to say at Phi Phi again as it is really commercalised and very busy with all the day trippers coming in on the boats.
