Overall the hotel was very good - the staff were welcoming and helpful. Main criticism (like other individuals comments) was lack of sunloungers - many were broken or poorly repaired. Locally, the main road can be dangerous at night time with speeding vehicles and little or no street lighting. The nearest ATM is about 600 metres away along with the more local style of restaurants offering meals at a very reasonable price.

Гостиница не плохая, пляж чистый и песчаный - без камней, что на Ланте не везде встретишь. Персонал очень дружелюбный и все просьбы выполняют быстро.Рядом много ресторанов и в киллометре 7/11 (магазин). В отеле можно взять в аренду скутер. Скорость Wi Fi высокая, но рядом с ресепшен, т.к. маленький радиус действия, в дальних бунгало плохо берет. Соотношение цена качество великолепное. Бунгало убирают через день, старая мебель. Мы жили в бунгало на первой линии и по ночам нас грызли песчаные мушки и мы не могли от них избавиться (использовали разные средства аэрозоль и раптор). Завтрак скудный по меню.

Basically you get what you pay for and nothing more. Based on the price I didn´t expect anything special and didn´t get it either. However I was surprised that the staff looked quite bored and didn´t seem to enjoy working there at all. No Thai smiles that you see almost everywhere else. Sometimes it felt as is you were disturbing the staff in their daily rounds of cards... Also the breakfast was a bit poor, at least they should offer real coffe instead of the instant powder you had to mix with hot water. Don´t expect much of the breakfast cause you won´t get it. Food at the restaurant ranged from good to very good so no complaints there and finally the location and the beach is great.

Breakfast is sort of a joke, but you can make do. Restaurant staff are unfriendly but Eagles when it comes to waiting for a tip! Sheets should be changed every other day- this is a beach hotel! Clean the A/C's please. Usual & Typical Thai money games when it comes to booking activities. Everything else is fine. I WOULD stay here again.

I have been living and travelling in Thailand for over 3 years and have sampled many rooms at different budgets. In my opinion this room is not worth paying more than 600 Baht a night for!! The location was excellent but the room was in very poor condition, dirty, and infested with mosquitos and cockroaches. You would be better off paying an extra 200 baht a night to get a much newer and cleaner room. I will never stay there again.

The place is average, but OK. Receptionist was unfriendly when we arrived - let alone any welcome drink, but at least a smile and Hello would be sufficient. We didn't get even this. Our room wasn't fully cleaned after previous guest as we entered, so I had to go back to the reception with a complaint. But it was solved quickly. Room (side beach) was OK. Hotel is located very close to the road, so one would want to have room closiest to the beach just to avoid noise. The beach itself is not that great as Long Beach (Phra Ae) on the north of Lanta. Pool equipped with sun beds was a big advantage, especially considering sea was so stormy it was almost impossible to swim. What we absolutely loved about the place is the restaurant which offers gorgeous indian and thai cuisine. All dishes are simply to die for! Lots of people from other hotels were visiting for dinner. Overall, I suppose this is not ideal value for money, but still I can recommend it.

Wonderful. Fantastic Family run resort. Staff are very helpful and couldn't do enough. One staff member was competing in the Thai Boxing, so they laid on transport and we headed down to support him, alas he lost, and was very apologetic, bless him! I would/will definitely go back to Lanta Nice. If you are looking for peace and quiet this is the place to be.

The beach front rooms are very tired and also quite noisy as they are right near the dining area. The standard bungalows, whilst on the other side of the road, are newer and much nicer and offer really good value for money. The food is fairly average but there are dozens of good eating places near by. Klong Nin beach is absolutely beautiful. Would recommend this resort on its location and value for money.

the resort is well situated in the island, the more you go to the south of the island the better is. I took the cheapest room. Fot Koh Lanta i paid a lot for not a good room. But the rooms more expensive where good. Food was fantastic. If you don't want to spend more than 1000 bht for a room i wouldn't recommend this hotel, but if you have a superior room i would recommend this hotel

Nice part of the beach. The bungalow-rooms with fan are very very simple. About 18 squaremeters in this bungalow. Only a big bed inside. No furniture, no possibility to sit now. You could only use the bed. No freezer or TV. Bathroom with cold water and the toilette without flush. But fan effective but little bit loud. Hotelstaff very helpful and all together a good guestservice. Distance to some small shops, tailor and 7eleven about 300 m.

This resort is on one of the nicest beach on Ko Lanta, we did not get met at the harbour as told we would be and had to pay our own taxi, when i asked the hotel they just shrugged. We did not find the staff that friendly, especially the reception, the barman and one waiter were the only friendly ones there. We booked a superior bungalow with fan, what they don't explain on any website about this accomodation is that when you book a fan room, you don't get hot water, with these rooms only if you book A/C, you also don't get a flushable toilet, just a bucket to flush with. We did get used to this but was a big shock and upset when we first arrived, would of been nice to of known, and we weren't the only ones decieved by the website. All in all we enjoyed our stay here but had nothing to do with the staff or the standard of the accomodation, great bar across the road called Roadside bar, friendly and lovely atmosphere.

The NICE in the name definitely refers to the beach and not to the resort! For the same price you'll find much nicer basic accommodation on Ko Lanta. Don't expect any service even if you are prepared to pay for it. You stay a week and you wont even get a change of sheets or towels, or the rubbish bin emptyed. Elsewhere you find people who always do this little extra effort to keep the guest. Here you re just not really welcomed, so you better stay away.
