Accommodation and facilities:
There's no doubt this is a very good value resort in low season especially with SiameServices's offer of stay for 2 nights and pay for one and the mattress is a jewel. But this time the room felt damp; the bed linen, sugar and smell and the air conditioning wasn't very efficient. Only one member of staff (Au) really has a clue how to give good customer service.

hi i had recently stayed in krabi aquamarine resort and spa. I enjoyed the stay as it was a family room with one double bed and one extra bed also it had a sofa. my younger child enjoyed sleeping on the sofa. the most amazing thing was the price one night stay one night free. we booked two family rooms. the service was best. breakfast the most enjoyable. The hotel authorities must add halal food in the breakfast.

Stayed in the two bedroom app for 17 nights. Good points- Large spacious rooms,ex air cond.Clean pool,free shuttle to town,quiet location(unless its Somkran Thailand New Year then all hell lets rip)Ok breakfast.Free bike hire although they don't have a bike for children. Not So Good Points- Lazy staff,poor cleaning of rooms,staff perfer to facebook all day.

I like to travel here again, clean, modern and well run hotel in studio design, good staff who volunteer as drivers if necessary. Good breakfast buffet and restaurant, excellent housekeeping, good beds and pillows. Complimentary fruit bowl in room. Clean and frech saltwater pool. Environmental policy, you can choose whether to have swapped bedding or not. Two bottles of drinking water for free every day. Conform to what is displayed on the website. Free WiFi, however, entitled choppy. I like to travel here again, clean, modern and well run hotel in studio design, good staff who volunteer as drivers if necessary. Our hotel experience was overall quite good. I can't think of any real problems or bad experiences. On the other hand, the wow factor was missing. The room was OK, the pool area was OK, and the location was OK as it was easy to use taxis to go around. Employees were friendly and service was good.

We had a really nice stay at the Aquamarine. Hotel was a little further out of town than expected but this had the benefit of reduced noise from traffic and bars in the centre of Ao Nang. Great place for a family holiday.

LOCATED BACK FROM THE BEACH THIS HOTEL HAS A SERIES OF 1 STORY BUNGALOWS AROUND A NICE SWIMMING POOL. A QUIET AND VERY PLEASANT ENVIRONMENT.ROOMS ARE VERY CLEAN AND NICE. I HAD A 2 BEDROOM SUITE WITH A KITCHENETTE AND LOUNGE. A GREAT PLACE TO STAY. NOT FAR FROM A BEAUTIFUL BEACH.

The hotel and its surroundings are in dire need of some tender, loving care. The owners have clearly let this place run down. A lick of paint could do wonders but the overall design and maintenance of the place suggest that improvements are not imminent. The staff, on the other hand, were excellent - serviceminded and keen to please. They deserve a better place to work. And you deserve a better place to stay.

Cosy hotel with bungalows nicely set around a spaceous pool. Has a very homey garden atmosphere. Rooms are very spaceous with large and clean bath rooms. Breakfast is a good selection of continental food. Free transfer to AoNang beach (5min) with hotel shuttle.

Booked Krabi Aquamarine because of good reviews from others. Was a little let down. Pool ok but lots of chloride. One morning two bags were thrown up in the pool for sanitation. Did not feel for swimming that morning. Room was ok. Clean and quite big. Good breakfast and relaxed atmosphere. Really nice people who were very helpful especially when one of our kids went ill. Also shuttle service to Ao Nang was great. The area is somewhat boring. It is quiet, but no view of the sea, cliffs or anything really. Close to Nopparat Thara Beach, but then again this beach is not really good for bathing. You have to take a longtail boat anyway to Poda,Tub Island og Railey. We paid about 3000 THB for rooms and value was ok, but since we have been a lot around I will not call it a bargain.

We stayed in the resort for 8 days, 2 adults and 2 children 4 and 6 years old. We stayed in the large 2 bedroom family room wich was lovely decorated with nice furniture and plenty of space for 4 people. It was also a very nice kitchenarea with plenty of pots and things like this. The beds were lovely and comfortable and the rooms were always kept clean and nice. The staff was very helpfull and friendly we felt very comfortable with the kids. The location is good, nice and quiet for familys but a little bit far from everything if you like to be close to the center. The hotel provided taxiservice to Ao Nang center or beach free of charge, very good service. The beach close to the resort is not nice for swimming and the beach in Ao nang not much better. The breakfast is ok, nothing over averege it´s the usual Thai breakfast with omelette and toast with marmelade. All over this is a nice and friendly resort with very good standard.

Very good small resort,queit and relax.They have large rooms, and beautiful swimming pool. The bathroom is really good design. Very good quality! This resort is far from aonang beach, about 40 minutes by walking. They have free shuttle to send you to aonang beach, but not every time. The bicycle rental is free. Breakfast buffer is not really good, so simple for chiose.

Este resort no está en la mejor localidad, está muy lejos de todo y se debe tomar un tuk-tuk o un taxi para salir a cualquier hora del dia, el hotel proporciona un automóvil que lo lleva a uno hasta Ao-Nang, pero esto funciona hasta las 18:00. Para el regreso al hotel, considero que si se tiene niños, como en nuestro caso, lo mejor es tomar un taxi pues el camino no está iluminado y es un poco desolado, realmente no hay nada cercano, excepto una venta de licores y un bar no muy recomendable. La habitación estaba limpia, excepto abajo de la cama, nunca limpiaron esa parte, siempre estuvo sucio, pero lo demás, muy lindo todo, la cama es la más cómoda en la que he dormido en mi viaje a Tailandia, buenísima, tiene un t.v plasma muy moderna, el baño, muy limpio y muy bien equipado. Tiene también una jarrilla para calentar agua, esto resulta muy bién cuando se viaja con niños pequeños, proporcionan café y té todos los dias en la habitación, un frigorífico muy pequeño pero muy útil, el armario es bastante espacioso. La piscina está muy bién, ni muy grande ni muy pequeña, todas las habitaciones están alrededor de ésta y las puertas son tan delgadas que ésto ocasionó un par de veces que se entraran las ranas, dándonos un buen susto, un balconcito pequeño no vendría mal para sentarse a tomar un vinito mientras los niños duermen. El equipo de trabajadores, se portaron siempre muy atentos y amables con nosotros, como es conocido en Tailandia, especialmente con los niños, extremadamente cariñosos. El desayuno no era lo esperado, dos o tres frutas, 2 tipos de jugo, pan blanco y huevos al gusto, café o té. Creo que no me volvería a hospedar en este resort, preferible en Ao-Nang.

El hotel es muy tranquilo pero no está muy bién ubicado, está un poco lejos de todo, la playa Nopparatara no es muy linda y no se puede nadar, para nadar en NOpparatara deben ir hasta el final (lado derecho viendo hacia el mar) recomiendo para esto mejor Ao Nang. Regresando al hotel, las habitaciones son amplias, muy bien equipadas, con tv. plasma, AC funcionó perfectamente, la cama muy cómoda, a pesar que en Thailandia las camas por lo general son muy duras, pero esta, estaba muy bién, revisando abajo de la cama (es lo primero que veo cuando entro por primera vez a una habitación de hotel) pues había mucha suciedad y ésto no dice mucho del hotel, pero en realidad es lo único negativo que puedo decir. El baño, muy lindo y limpio, amplio con una decoración muy bonita, espejo grande, bañera espaciosa. Suficiente espacio para la ropa, jarrilla para calentar agua, café y té disponibles, ésto fué de mucha ayuda para mí pues viajaba con dos niños pequeños y la jarrilla me sirvió para hervir el agua y poder tomar los cereales. La habitación que nos dieron era una Delux, en un principio pedí a SiameServices un apartamento con dos habitaciones y me dijeron que el hotel estaba lleno, para mi sorpresa cuando llegamos, el hotel estaba casi vacío y no entiendo por qué razón me dijeron ésto. La entrada del hotel, no parece hotel, pues de lejos no hay algún rótulo o algo que lo identifique, al llegar se puede uno dar cuenta que hay un pequeño ranchito que es la recepción, pero realmente alguien que no sabe que es allí el hotel Aquamarine se pasa de largo y desapercibido. El desayuno no es la gran cosa, huevos al gusto, en el buffet hay dos o tres tipos de fruta, pan blanco, un cerealito, croassaints, mermelada y miel. Jugo de naranja (de caja) jugo de piña (también de caja) leche, café o té. Del personal, como es de costumbre en Thailandia, sumamente amables y siempre con un sonrisa, dispuestos en todo momento a ayudar, la recepcionista del turno de la noche, muy platicadora, con excelente inglés, muy preparada y amable, ella nos reservó un auto con Budget y todo salió perfecto. Este hotel en general es pequeño, nuevo y me dá la impresión que todavía no terminan de construír algunas partes pues como decía antes la entrada no es muy de apreciar y no parece un hotel, la piscina es amplia y nunca ví a alguien nadando, probablemente porque era temporada baja, pero en fin creo que a las personas que puedan leer este comentario, yo les aonsejaría que se buscaran un hotel en Ao Nang, que esté cerca de la playa, porque hay más vida y no es como en otros lugares donde se escucha música fuerte todas las noches. Aconsejo también que cuando vayan a la playa de Ao Nang, vayan hasta el final, (lado izquierdo viendo hacia el mar), van a encontrar miles de monos paseándose por la playa, ellos viven entre la jungla pero bajan a la playa de vez en cuando, se dejan que les tomen fotos, pero no hay que molestarlos porque se ponen furiosos. Esto fué una experiencia inolvidable. De parte del hotel tienen servicio de taxi gratuito que lo llevan a uno a Ao Nang, es de mucha ayuda, pero no aconsejo caminar de regreso hacia el hotel por la noche pues está todo completamente oscuro y desolado, para salir a cenar, se debe llamar a un taxi a o Tuk Tuk pues está un poco retirado de los restaurantes y el taxi gratuito funciona hasta las 18:00 horas. Debo decir que todo funcionó perfectamente, desde la llegada al aeropuerto de Krabi, el hotel, los traslados, el recorrido que hicimos de Krabi a Phuket, en dos horas y media fué lindísimo, la autopista es excelente, en fin, vacaciones inolvidables, pero a este Resort, mmm, me parece que no regresaría.

Couple of nights well spent especially at low season rate. That has got to be the best bed I ever slept in. Staff more than pleasant although nothing more than basic help. But good value, good pool the Suites are well worth the extra. Choice of TV channels is abysmal.

Krabi Aquamarine Resort & Spa is a new hotel and it´s not completly finished.We stayed at the resort 3 days. The breakfeast was served to the room and was very poor. It doesnt matter what you choose for a breakfast a ham, sausages or bacon the staff will bring what they have, for example we ordered tea, they bring us coffe, instead of pineapple they brought orange juice. The hotel has WiFi, for which you have to pay (100 baht per hour), we bought one WiFi hour coupon, but the time finished very quickly, we hardly used 20 minutes, it is not very honest from the hotel side. No problem with accomodation, it is good, clean and nice large room. All rooms are arranged around the pool-area. The pool it not that big, but quite enough. The resort is a walking distance to Noppara Thara Beach, but quite far to Ao Nang. Anyway both beaches are not good, the water is dirty, its much better to go to Railey beach for swimming by long tail boat (10 minutes for 100 baht per person)or book a hotel right there, Railey is a very beautiful and picturesquare place to relax. Dont waste time at AO Nang or Noppara Thara Beaches! There are much better places in Krabi area. In overall the resort is not bad, but I would not reccomend it for staying even on promotion like stay 3 pay for 2 nights. Nothing to do at this resort!

The resort is new. It opened in April 2009. It's a smal (round about 30 rooms) resort. All rooms are arranged around the pool-area. Our room was big (normal room) clean room with AC (a little bit noisy), Flat-TV, Hair-dryer, Fridge, every day two bottles drinking water, Tea- and coffee-maker, a big wardrobe and cupboard, phone, safe and couch. The baby cot was also new! The pool it not that big, but quite enough. It has a separated Childeren area. The food at the restaurant is fresh an very delicous. The fruit-shakes were fresh prepared. The staff was every time friendly, very helpful and children are welcome. Our son (~ 2 years) was playing with the staff. Don't trust the map at SiameServices. From the resort to Noppara Thara Beach it's about 150 m (you can walk) -> it seems at the map much more. The resort is beside Mild bungalow . This beach is nicer than Ao Nang. But at high tide there is at both beaches no beach (the water reache to the quay). The have beach towels, you can change every day!! A big plus for a small suitcase. We can absolutely recomment the hotel!!

Nice hotel. Recently opened, but everything in working order. Spa still beeing built, but can offer massage as of now. Very very helful and nice staff. Rooms fresh and inviting, Family apparment with 1 double bed and the large single beds, were fitted without a problem, even though the room is smaller than it appears on the internet.The same goes for the pool. The area around the pool is supposed to be surrounded by palm trees, these need to grow! At the moment there is no natural shade arrround the pool, but sufficent number of sunbeds and umbrellas. The hotel offers transportation free of charge to Ao Nang Beach, which is nice. walking distance to Nopparathara beach, which is much quieter than Ao Nang.

Worked well, no problem. they charged us 300 thb to múch and couldn´t refund. insted we were given a nice fruit basket on arrival at the hotel.

this hotel was very new it was very pleasant but could do with a few improvements such as providing meals at night and bar getting lighter umbrella stands so they could be moved to put you in the shade as the poolside is very exposed to sunshine. The walk down to restuarants is very busy and dark this could be improved with lights outside resort,but these are small things and easily fixed.The staff were very pleasant and helpful and the 3 for two offer great value
