Accommodation and facilities:
Large room ..very nice. Room 10 away from the road, there is a generator in the Hotel next door which creates a background noise, though okay for us. Staff very friendly, service and food was good. About 10 min walk to the town, no problem, taxi back 20 baht each. You can easily get boats to the islands which r lovely, just make sure u go am (risk of rain pm) and low tide so that u can enjoy sand banks....we enjoyed our stay at the Cha Wan

Great place to stay. Small & quiet, no young families so very good for older travellers. Short walk to main street & beach but far enough away to be a retreat. Fantastic service, staff so helpful. Rooms were excellent but did notice that a leak came from air conditioner. Would stay again.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Cha Wan Resort. The room was beautiful and huge and all aspects of the hotel were very clean and well kept. Included breakfast on our patio was always right on time, abundant and delicious. Very friendly and helpful staff. Spotless swimming pool. We would highly recommend the Cha Wan to anyone visiting the Ao Nang area.

The Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is huge but always very nice. The meal we had in the restaurant was delicious. It is quite a walk to the main shopping area of Ao Nang but we knew this and enjoyed the exercise. I would suggest when booking you request an upstairs room as our downstairs room was very dark and stuffy.

Ett jättefint och mysigt litet hotell. Underbar service med frukost på den egna stora balkongen. Det är lite långt till stranden och shopping men det är inga problem då det finns Tuk Tuk som du åker in till stan för 20 baht/person.

What an amazing place. Service excellent, rooms beautiful and cleaned daily, relaxation areas wonderful. We even got a free spa treatment from the hotel and it was glorious. Breakfast, order what you want they have everything and what they don't have they will get the next day for you. Any questions you have just ask reception and they will organise anything for you. We only had one dinner there but it was very nice. This is really a boutique style hotel only 10 villas. The place has so much charm. We hired a bike whilst we stayed here to get around and see all the different areas. Take long boats to the islands it's amazing. Thank you Cha Wan for making our holiday so special for us. What a fantastic little resort- a home away from home. Beautiful big rooms, great food, wonderful service from lovely staff. The only slight issue was the swimming pool which went a bit green after a few days. Apart from that excellent. Another tip- rooms 5 and 6 seemed the best located, and if travelling request the groung floor, where the balcony is enclosed.

We had a wonderful stay at Cha Wan resort. The service was extraordinaryly good and the location is nice - a little walk away from all the noice at the central street, yet just 15 min from the beach. We stayed there with our kids (2 and 7 years old) and it was perfect: the room was large and even better, the private balcon was so big, the kids could easily play there during the hottest hours of the day without getting sunburned. Especially for small children, it is perfect with a closed balcony so you don't need to bother if the kids are running too close to the pool etc. Also they deliver every meals to your room if you wish so - again perfect with children who don't like to sit on a chair waiting for the food and waiting for the parents to finish eating - they could just play on the balcony whenever it suited them. Two things could be better: the first couple of days we stayed in a room just next to the street - and there were quite some noise from scooters etc - try to avoid that, in the other rooms there are no problems. And our son complained when he had been in the pool, I am not sure it was very clean. But overall: VERY good value for money, we will definitely return another time.

Stayed at Cha Wan Resort for three days,then we had to move on but desidetto end ouer last three days in thailand at Cha Wan Resort, because this place was the best resort we ever have stayed on during ouer many yers of travelling.Great staff, alvis helpful, and smiling. The rooms vere perfect, clean, big and with a beatiful bathroom. Beautiful garden with a nice pool arear,2 pools alwis clean. we loved ouer breakfast (very good) served on ouer balcony every morning. Everything at ouer stay at Cha Wan Resort was perfect, thak you, we will absolutly com back. Love from Finn and Lene Denmark.

The Cha Wan Resort is fabulous. We had initially booked for three nights but stayed for six. The staff are really attentive and friendly, and made sure we were looked after at all times. The rooms were equally amazing. Beautiful large Thai styled rooms, polished timber floors, timber panelled walls, large tv and dvd. Whilst it was out of the main area, it was a lazy 10 minute walk to it, which we found to be no trouble at all. It is a small resort but stunning and peaceful. The pool area was lovely with sun loungers set up for us every day. Our room had a pond outside the door with various fish swimming in it. The dining room was above the reception and we couldn't fault the food at all. Large meals, very attentive staff Just great. Oh and best not forget great value for money..obviously, and quite a lot cheaper than some of the larger resorts. I must mention that we had booked into another resort closer to the main beach but on checking in, quickly checked out again and returned to Cha Wan. No comparison. Oh and did I mention free wireless internet in the rooms and free access to a computer in the reception area if you didn't take your laptop? We would not hesitate to stay there again, and would, and will recommend it to our friends and family, and anyone else who will listen!!

Ein sehr kleines, ruhiges und spezielles Hotel. Die Zimmer sind traumhaft und alles sehr sauber. Das Personal sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Internet Service gratis und in der ganzen Anlage WIFI verfügbar. Sehr schön um ein paar Tage nach dem herumreisen am Pool auszuruhen. Bis zum Strand sind es ca 10 - 15 Minuten.

A definite return. Great staff. Friendly. Great staff. Good food. Clean and pleasant pool. Imaginative use of fish ponds and fountains. Intimate. Rooms were great. Shower sometimes ran hot and cold but bath tub and Bathing area was spacious and open and wonderful. Beach a shortwalk. Beach food market and restaurants an easy short walk, or a TukTuk if you are so enclined. Many enjoyable restaurants almost next door to hotel to chose from. Hotel also did a good job of arranging tours. Hotel is Great for Couples.

Best hotel I ve stayed in in Thailand. Very helpful staff and gorgeous rooms with bath and separate showers. We booked Golden Suites which were lovely. Close enough to walk (5 mins) into the main bit of Ao Nang.

Great hotel, the staff was friendly and the rooms were big and very clean. I suggest to bring some lotion against insect-bites, since in the evening there will be many flies. I will defenetly come back

The internet booking system is very efficient and the responses are quick and precise. Booking from the site is cheaper than booking to the hotel directly. The tour-package that the site-staff offer you when you get there, are over-priced respect to what you can find in the local travel agencies.

The Hotel is very pretty, rooms are spacious, bathroom has big bath and shower. Hot water sometimes sparse. The hotel is kept very clean. Breakfast was amazing whatever you want brought to your own private balcony. location is about 10 minutes to Ao Nang beach and town. I would definitely recommend staying there. Staff bend over backwards to make you feel welcome and accomodate any requests graciously.

Highly recommended! We travelled as a 30-something Australian/English couple looking for a quiet and romantic break. The resort is small (only 10 rooms) but well done (4 star)the staff are amazingly kind, friendly and helpful. There are 2 small swimming pools although we almost always had the pool to ourselves, even though it was peak season. The rooms are big and very nicely decorated Thai style with all the comforts and conveniences. The rooms have large balconies and breakfast (included free) can be delivered to your room each day. The resort is right next to Queens Pavillion about a 7 minute walk to the main part of Ao Nang and the Beach. Alternatively there is a Tuk Tuk rank outside that costs 20bt per person (A$0.60) to travel anywhere in Ao Nang area. There are several very good Thai restaurants right outside the resort, and a great massage/day spa on the street called feel good . The hotel food is also excellent. A very relaxing place to stay.
