BRING YOUR OWN SUNBED!!!Extended Scandanavian families and older Germans feel it is their God given right to put towels,shoes,bottles of water and even bricks overnight to claim their sunbeds.Most days 40 sunbeds around pool,maybe only 10 maximum in use at any one time-VERY SELFISH.The people who do this please note that other people have paid to use these sunbeds NOT ONLY YOU!Sunbeds are far sunbathing and relaxing NOT somewhere to hang your towels!Management at Andaman Lanta needs to sort this problem out immediately!Otherwise value for money resort with good clean rooms right on very nice beach.Nightlife quiet and limited but pleasant stay.

myself and my daughters stayed at this resort for four nights. when we checked in our bungalows backed onto the main road. this is the only road in Koh Lanta and was very busy, the noise from thsi was unbearable at night! i asked to be moved and the receptioist said that was not possible, and sarcasticly said did i want her to stand in the road at night and ask the trafic to be quiet! Not the answer i expexcted! my daughters next door had dirty running water in their bathroom. we were told this would be fixed, it wasnt. the resort was mainly lovely swedish people which wasnt a problem, but felt if we were Swedish would have been treated different. the resort itself is beautiful and all the rooms by the pool looked lovely. If you stay here make sure you have a sea view! the staff at breakfast were very helpful with one wonderful waitress who remembered our names each morning. the resort is in a good location on the beach. we walked down to Golden Cottage resort as the food was very good there and free wifi!! if you venture further afield try next beach down, Thai Cat the best food we had all holiday and great staff! Koh Lanta is a beautiful resort for family s, not a great deal to do if staying for a long time. hire a moped and drive down to lighthouse and caves.

What a superb place to stay in! Extremely nice staff, good food in restaurang. Lovely view from our bungalow. The only bad things are other guests bad habits of booking sunbeds very early and then leave them unattended. We also had a lot of mosquitos in our bungalow. We were at Koh Lanta for 4 weeks but here there were extremely lot of mosquitos but not easy for the hotel to avoid.

Bodde 5 nätter på Andaman med familjen och så här tyckte vi om det: - Poolen var rent livsfarlig då det var massor av trasiga kakelplattor i den. grabben skar sig 3 ggr ordentligt i fötterna. - på restaurangen fick vi vänta på maten i 40 minuter och då beställde vi bara pizza. vi fick inte ens maten samtidigt utan när jag fick min mat så hade dom andra redan ätit klart så lunchen tog på tok för lång tid att klara av där. - ganska lyhörda rum - personalen pratade dålig engelska - internetcafét fungerade endast om det inte hade regnat :) - dåligt tryck i duschen så det vaer hårfint att man kunde blöta håret. Tyvärr så övervägde det negativa denna gång :( så något mer Andaman blir det inte

A very nice resort! If we are going to Ko Lanta again we should definately book here. We lived in De Luxe room poolside, clean and nice. The rooms on the other side is not to recommend. A lot of traffic on the street and very dusty. There could be better and more sun-chairs or sun-beds on the beach. Very good value for money!

We stayed in a superior room wich was quit good regarding to our price we get, 1200 TBH / night. The hotel restaurant was very very good and the staff was more than exelent, and the price as well.Our friends stayed in one of the 2 suites that was very nice placed with beachfront and very nice sunsets.

The resort and rooms, was very nice and comfortable, good cleaning. Nice pool area and fine pool. The beach, Was a little stonie, but it was usefull, when we walked a little bit right. Restaurant, was wery disapointing, the food was OK, but the staff, could not find out to handle the order of more families, the results was wrong food, or no food, becourse they forgot to bring the order to the cook. We were very disappointed with the Andaman Lanta Resort. Our Standard Room had a strong smell of mould and was in bad need of reparations. The corridor stank of sewage. Breakfast was ok but had alot of flies all over it. The standard was much below the general standard that you would get in Thailand for the same price. We would not recommend the hotel to others, and cancelled the bookings we had already made to some family members.

At best a medium choise. on th upside. Nice poolside and beachfront rooms. OK pool but to few deckchairs. OK restaurant. with the standard menu at reasonable prices. Nice sunset. on the badside. Do not accept rooms towards the steet. Bad an many ways. The least good part of the in all good beach. A lot of rocks especially at low tide. We (me and wife and a 5 year old girl) moved to Long beach, wich is a nicer beach in my opinion and there to a better resort. All in all 5 on a 10 scale

We stayed in one of the beach view bungalows. Were a bit disappointed at first when we saw our room, especially the bathroom with mouldy shower curtain, no water pressure (as with any other hotel on the island)and some wild life in our room. However, the bed was comfortable, TV, Aircon and fan all worked perfectly and we did end up having a good time in Andaman Lanta. The beach is great and the views of the sunset are amazing. You can hear the sounds of the ocean as you fall asleep. The hotel is located approx 5 min drive from Saladan town and hotel offers free one way transfers there. Taxi back is 50 Bht. We had a very nice and relaxing time and would definitely come back to Lanta but would stay at one of the hotels on the Long beach (the next one down) as it's even prettier.
