There are a few resorts on Koh Tao having a nice restaurant along with a nice spot for sunset and the view of Koh Nang Yuan. Dusit Buncha Resort is a new resort on Koh Tao that offers the splendid view unlike anyone. The resort is decorated blending to nature at one end of Sai Ree Beach on Yai Nee Cape. Therefore, Dusit Buncha Resort has privacy and serenity.

Guests can snorkel in front of the resort where marine lives are still perfect and beautiful or relax at our swimming pool which is opposite Koh Nang Yuan. We do not only offer the picturesque view of Koh Tao Sea and Koh Nang Yuan, but also the site of 2 different style guesthouses; the first 15 modern Thai style guesthouses being on the upper part and the other 15 tropical style accommodation guesthouses which are closer to the sea. However, all rooms are designed to have a beautiful sea view. The guesthouses have a wide balcony for you to admire the view outside.

These beautifully traditional designed villas have been constructed along with the natural landscape. Located hill side, these rooms have a comfortable bedroom and rustic bathroom. The hard wood terrace lends a perfect opportunity to relax. Air-conditioning, hot shower, TV, fridge, mini-bar.

:: Deluxe Villa Seaside ::

Built as so not to disrupt the natural beauty, the Deluxe Villa Seaside are an upgrade to our Superior Villas but with extra space and nearer to the sea. An extra room for relaxing away from all the clutter. Air-conditioning, hot shower, TV, fridge, mini-bar and safety deposit box are included as standard.

:: Deluxe Villa Sunset ::

The two nearest villas next to the sea like Paradise Seaside Villa, but smaller size. Bedrooms links to the bathroom and the terrace to have wonderful sunset view. Air-conditioning, hot shower, TV, fridge, mini-bar and safety deposit box are included as standard.

:: Deluxe Villa Romantic ::

These beautiful villas with the wider terrace to have panorama sea view than other Deluxe rooms. Bedrooms and bathrooms are decorated blended with the nature - some rooms having the natural rock as the wall. Air-conditioning, hot shower, TV, fridge, mini-bar and safety deposit box are included as standard.

:: Junior Suite Villa ::

Spacious, airy and light is the best way to describe these villas. Windows populate most sides of these rooms providing spectacular views of the sea and neighboring Island Koh Nang Yuan. We have 2 Junior Suite Villas -1st Junior Villa Room 110 has 2 bedrooms ( 2 double beds ) and 1 bathroom and -2nd Junior Suite Villa Room 105 also has 2 bedrooms ( 2 twin beds in one room and the other room with 1 single bed ) and 1 bathroom. Terrace with the sea view , Air-conditioning, hot shower, TV, fridge, mini-bar and safety deposit box are included as standard.

:: Family Suite Villa ::

Beautifully molded around the existing rock formations the Family Suite Villa gives you plenty of space for all the Family. The Villa contains a large open plan living room with the 2 bedrooms and main bathroom adjoining this central area. The master bedroom with large Queen-size bed has an en-suite bathroom. An enormous balcony runs ocean-side along the entire length of the villa providing incredible views throughout the day. Air-conditioning, hot shower, TV, fridge, mini-bar and safety deposit box are included as standard.

:: Paradise Seaside Villa ::

The most luxurious Villa in our resort, these are situated on the rocks practically touching the sea! A vast expanse of areas to be lounged in, slept in and bathed in. The living area contains all the expected facilities and adjoins a large bedroom containing queen-size bed, rustic bathroom - what more could you want! sensational views of sunset and Koh Nang Yan make this one of our most desired Villas. Air-conditioning, hot shower, TV, fridge, mini-bar and safety deposit box are included as standard.

All of the sea front bungalows have private access to the sea, some of them have a private open-air bathroom or shower so you can bathe in the sun and balmy air. Most rooms have a large deck where you can enjoy panoramic views of the ocean, and watch the sun set over Koh Nanguan while sipping wine on a romantic candle light dinner with your sweetheart.

SERVICES & FACILITIES

Restaurant and bar is divided into 2 zones; the open air terrace and Lanna style zone. Different styles of cuisines including Thai and European style food, B.B.Q. , cocktail are available at reasonable prices. Other amenities are internet, shuttle service, kayak, bicycle ,diving mask, diving tour, fishing tour.

The Dusit Buncha Resort is the paradise resort of natural decoration styles, locate on the most northern end of Koh Tao, at the quite end of the island, nice spot for sunset and the view of Koh Nang Yuan. Accommodation and facilities:
My husband and I had a wonderful time at Dusit Bancha despite the steep climb to our hotel room after breakfast, dinner or chilling out at the pool. I guess it's good exercise and build up to a hearty meal. I do feel that the breakfast offered was not sufficient from a choice point of view - it was very basic and limited. There should be more of an option from different breads, pastaries, cheeses etc to choose from. The staff were amazing. I can't recall the head waiters name, he is a real asset to Dusit and assist us greatly. Well done and keep up the great work. One last observation is the shuttle service into town - we felt that a return trip from town to the hotel should also be offered. The hotel is well out and getting from town to the hotel troublesome as you need to find a taxi etc which is extra costs that you didn't really budget for. it would also be great if you could hire a long tail boat or kayak directly from Dusit but unfortunately none of these facilities were there so once again you need to get into town to hire these and arrange for taxi back to the hotel again. The hotel on the other hand is very nice for people who want to relax and enjoy the sounds of the sea.

A beautiful remote resort. You can find here and there inefficiencies but the good service covers them and make your stay relaxing. Cottage is nice but somewhat simple. Sea by the hotel is a fine snorkeling area- no need to go to other places to find various fish and corals

We booked Paradise Seaside Villa for 4 nights because we were told that's the only room availalbe for that period. However, I certainly noticed quite a few empty villas on the hillside (above our villa) through out our stay. I think either hotel or the booking agent-SiameServices is trying to make us to stay most expensive room during busiest season so that they can charge highest price in the year! My reservation condition was that I need to have a separate living room to put in a bed for our adult child. SiameServices agent sent me more than 1 emails to confirm it. However, when we got there, a thin foam matrass was put next to our beds without a mosqito net in the main room. The so called living room was marely a 3-4 sqm area with 3 sides of glass door/windows! Very misleading in the hotel/agent's desription to the least! The food is one of the worst I ever had in Thailand hotels (particularly in a place you paid US$380/night!). We could not stand the compulsory New Year dinner and only stayed for 40 minutes while the staffs seem to enjoyed more than the guests. I also agree with other reviewers, this hotel certainly is not for other with bad knees or old aged. Not good for the family with small children either. There are so much mosquitos in the room. We had to request an extra mosquito net for the 3rd bed on the 3rd night after hundred bits left on our daughter's body!

Pros: Incredible place and view. it's like heaven on earth. stayed in the sea view room facing the sunset. it's worth it Will go there again. Friendly service Cons: mosquitos. remote location. must take taxi to nearby beach. no beach but directly connect to sea = ok for snokelling.

The hotel is located beside the shore, you can easily go swimming or snorkel there, but, the water is not very clean, just okay. The design is traditional thai architecture and traditional many ants. Don't bring any sweets there, or you'll wake up in the ant troop. The staffs were friendly there. And food is just so so. But what we could require to a free breakfast? Swimming pool is too small, when you jump and turn around it's the end of the pool. Sunbath there is a good choice. it will take 15mins to go to the center of the town by motorcycle. a bit far.

Great view and snorkeling. No longtail boat direct from resort to Koh Nang Yuan. A bit away from the town. 15mins by taxi from pier, free pick up. The road is a bit bumpy. But, a great place to stay. We stayed at the family suite sea view.
