An amazing place just next to the beach, the bungalows were spacious and perfectly clean, good showers, and the best customer service Ever! They were incredibly friendly and helpful all the time. I would definitely come back there for my next visit at the full moon Party, it's not too far and quiet. Perfect!

The stay was exactly what we wanted. afordable, nice and a centeral yet safe location for full moon party. the room was clean and the perfect size. good western toilet with hot showers. the beach out the front is not great for swimming but perfect for tanning and sunsets! song taew (taxi) services arroung the island are a flate rate so getting to and from parties was easy. there is a 7/11 near by for snacks, also ideal for after the partys. most importantly the little thai man theat runs the place is soo nice, friendly and really helpfull. he has a friend who organises good and safe mopeds to hire and will organise transport for you. he does all this with minimal english but its great!

My Phangan is nice place to stay. Is is located in the Ban Tai Beach so half moon party area is nearby. Its also few minutes driving from the Haadrin so the location is excellent. Beach isnt the most beautiful one. Other than that place was excellent to stay. Just laying on the hammock, watching sun setting down and drinking cold beer. And the staff is so nice and friendly. The owner doesnt speak much English but is just unbeliavable nice guy. Had a great time.

We stayed in My Phangan Bungalows for 6 nights and it was great. The staff was very, very friendly. Yo, the guy who does most of the things in this hotel, is very nice although he doesn't speak much English. They also let us use their computer for free. The location of the hotel is perfect. It is about a 20 min drive from Thongsala and Haad Rin. The area around the bungalows is full of great restaurants, a bar, 7-11, ATMs, laundry service and internet cafes. We stayed in the cheapest bungalow which was small but ok for the amount of money we paid. The bungalows are very cute, and are practically on the beach. The place is very nicely maintained; there are a lot of palm trees and flower bushes. The beach is not that great for swimming because it is very shallow but it was still pretty. On a clear day you can see Koh Samui very well! Overall, it was a great value for money and I would difinately come back!

simple bungalows with wonderful beach with palmtreas. But everywhere is lots of waste on the beach and also tar spots. That destroys the nice panorama. Some other resorts clean the beach. But the boss likes more to drive his Subaru. Unfortunately you find that on many beaches on Koh Phangang,

Myself and my 3 travel companions were 100% satisfied with our stay here. The hotel staff is friendly and helpful... especially impressive since 1 woman does almost everything. She is a Thai female version of McGyver. The location is equidistant from the Full Moon Party and Downtown Thong Sala Pier which worked out beautifully. Also there is a reputable motorbike rental down the street which will give you bikes for $6/day (save major $$ on taxis and explore the whole island) I would definitely come back here. :)

This is my second visit and although I enjoyed it, I do feel that the service and the general buzz there has gone really down hill. The food is awful so don't eat there and the rooms are now looking really jaded and could do with a spruce up. The price is good for what you get 500 baht a night peak season and Ban Tai is lovely and quiet and the beach is pratically deserted. If you want more life you can jump in cab 10 mins one way to Hat Rin or 10 mins the other to Thongsala. All in all I would recommend to someone who is not fussy.

the bungalows were a bit expensive for what you got. our shower suppost to be hot but there was hardly any wather comming from it. our zink was broken and the owners of the resort were not friendly at all. they did not speak englisch, I think they understood us but they didn't speak to us at all.

The rooms were small and in the showere was just in the bathroom pratically over the toilet. There was no hanging space at all for clothes and very little other space. In the restaurant, the food was ok but there were 2 dogs, 3 puppies covered in flies and ticks that lived in the restuarant/ reception area. A cat wandered around on top of the counter. The staff were initially reasonalbly friendly but when we ate elsewhere due to the numerous animals , seemed that they couldn't be bothered. We checked out 2 days early and lost some of the deposit but preferred to do that than stay. Reasonably priced and if you just want somewhere for a night it is ok but not to be recommended for an extended stay.

The resort was quite nice :) It was at a short walking distance from the main road, which came in handy when going around the island. Food was okay and the bungalows were clean. The staff was always smiling and were very helpful. The beach wasn't so nice but is still good for swimming in, and the resort offered a great view of the sunset which I really liked.

My Phangan was a real delight to stay in. Quiet and calm beach. Total contrast compared to Haad Rin Beach. My perfect retreat from my busy life in the city. The water level is very low. You can walk 200m down and its still within knee level. The staff was very friendly. I think they are a family cause they are so close. There's only 4 of them working. Their food is decent and affordable. I miss their egg sandwich! The room I got was decent. The superior deluxe(for 3 people). Totally no complaints on the room. Absolutely well maintained. BUT THERE S ONE BAD EXPERIENCE I WANT TO SHARE. During my stay, I rent a motorbike. The resort usually hook you up with a dealer so it wont be a hassle for us to find one. So Yusuf(REMEMBER THIS NAME!), the dealer, brought the bike to our resort. 250 Baht instead of the normal rate of 200 Baht. A new bike he says. I said ok, the bike looks good anyway. The next day, upon returning, Yusuf did a VERY THOROUGH CHECK on the whole bike! And he found some MINOR SCRATCHES UNDERNEATH THE MUDGUARD. For that I had to pay 4500 Baht(US$140) for that piece of cheap plastic! We argued for a while but later he threatened to bring this matter to the police. So, not wanting to face this trouble, I paid him 4500 Baht. MORAL OF THE STOREY IS, STAY AWAY FROM ANY BIKE DEALER BY THE NAME YUSUF!
