Wonderful place however too noisy for me. Directly next to asiabungalows an Australian man did rent the Central Bar for 2012. This bar was during my stay several times open till 2.30 o Clock in the morning and played techno music rather loud. The local people told me, that the Australian will loose the license for the bar at the end of 2012 - so please ask at asiabungalows. All other details of asiabungalows are: very good, very clean, very nice people, very good servive

bungalow sur la plage avec vue imprenable; eau cristalline,plage idéale pour faire du snorkelling; par contre, aucune réception à l hôtel, juste une dame thaï charmante qui parle à peine anglais; si vous avez un problème, vous ne savez pas à qui vous adresser; heureusement, les autres hôtels de la plage proposent tous services: restaurants, mini markets, location véhicules,plongée,réservation tours en bateau; sinon bungalow très propre, calme, avec 2 terrasses dont 1 sur la mer; à ne pas rater; vous pouvez demander à l hôtel de vous envoyer un taxi au port de débarquement (demander à l agence d appeler pour vous, ce sera plus pratique en thaï)

I would warn against not serious owners of the hotel. I had booked a bungalow with sea views and an extra bed and paid the deposit. I booked almost a year ago that I would be sure that I would get sea view and we would spend Christmas there. I had been confirmed by the owner and siameservices that I had the bungalow that I wanted. When we were checking in, they had rented bungalow with sea views to one another and said we would get another bungalow with a lot worse position. We were not offered compensation for their mistake and it took us a whole day to find new accommodation because it was fully booked almost everywhere because it was peak season and became the new living three twice as expensive from what we had planned. We stayed at Asia Bungalows only one night. Despite having booked at least 2 months in advance, the staff appeared to have no knowledge of our booking. We arrived with our 3 year old exhausted after 24 hrs of travel from Bangkok. We were so grateful and happy to be there and yet received nothing but suspicion and stony faces. Despite having empty rooms they seemed to begrudge us actually being there! To top it all the shower wasn't working so we had to wait a half hour or more before they came to fix it. Very, very disappointing.

Great place - clean, right on the water, big beds, friendly people, nice bathrooms, etc. No bar/restaurant/breakfast/canoes/snorkeling locations/equipment on the premises, but literally a walk on the beach and they are all right next door. Unbelievable value. Quieter than Haad Rin, but still with places to go and have dinner and a drink at night

Paradise, tranquill, absolute heaven! Some might say this place is too quiet - only 10 bungalows, no restuarant or anything else but...if relaxation and peace is what you need, this is the place. We could throw a stone into the water from our patio, the beach was perfect, the sunsets perfect. We ate at 4 places but found the place next door on the right (Salad Villa) the best. Snorkeling was great( hire next door). Hiring a bike from the resort was no problem and they booked the ferry to the next island for us. If you need to de-stress and have peace and quiet this place is perfect. We d like to move here permanently one day is how we felt when we left.

Great place to stay but the beds are rock hard. There are no restaurants so you have to walk down the beach to find places to eat. We rented the scooter off Asia Bungalows which we d suggest as a safe bet as one of the stores on the main strip tried ripping us off. We had a wonderful stay at Asia Bungalow.

Loved it. Beautiful bay with restaurants offering great food. The hotel was situated in the middle of the bay and very close to the beach. The bungalows were nice and clean, although quite simple. For the cost of the rooms, I highly recommend this place!

Asia Bungalows si trova a Salad Beach una bellissima spiaggia di Ko Phangan: sabbia bianca e morbida come borotalco, ed acqua cristallina. Ci sono 3 file di bungalow che partono dalla spiaggia e finiscono nel bel giardino. Tutti sono comunque a pochi metri dalla spiaggia. Io ho avuto la fortuna di avere un bungalow in prima fila con la vista sulla spiaggia e sul mare. I bungalow sono tutti abbastanza nuovi, molto puliti, dotati di aria condizionata. Nel mio c era anche la cassetta di sicurezza, ma non andava. C è una gentilissima signora che cura le pulizie, che dà anche informazioni, prenota taxi e barche, e fa anche il serviozio di lavanderia (1Kg/40BHT). Il bungalow non ha lo charme di tanti altri resort, ma è molto pulito, non costa molto, ed è in un ottima posisizione. Complessivamente un ottima soluzione per chi vuole dormire a Salad Beach e preferisce passare la giornata in spiaggia e al mare piuttosto nel resort. Il Bungalow non ha il ristorante, ma per fare colazione o mangiare si può benissimo andare nei locali sulla spiaggia che distano pochi metri.

A nice place right at the beach. Nice and clean. The beds a bit hard for our tast though. The waterpreshure was not good. No breakfast included but there are nice places to eat along the beach. We rented mopeds at Asia Bungalows and it was nice going around the island.

Beautiful (family) bungalow, very spacy, big beds, good aircon,nice bathroom (but a very bad shower due to lack of waterpressure). Spacy balcony with possibilately to hang your own hammock ;-) Every other day the lady comes and cleans the bungalow, changes towels and gets you clean sheets. Left over airbeds of toys from former gueastts, she will leave on your doorstep for your children to play with during your stay. Very nice and friendly staff. Big bungalows, not too close to eachother with a large green palmtree garden in the middle to give you a feeling of space and privacy. The beach is amazing and the bay beautiful. You could say that all of the bungalows are almost on the beach, the last one in the back is about max. 35 meter from the beach. The Beachsidebungalows have an amazing view (distance from the beach 1 meter). Perfect place (resort and beach) for families with children. Maybe a little boring for young people because there is no night life, for that you would have to go somewhere else. The service and bungalow and location are more than worth your money.

Asia Bungalows sind wunderbar geführt.Die Lage ist einmalig schön. Die Bungalows sind sehr geräumig ,die Klimaanlage funktioniert sehr gut und ist leise.Die Standardbungalows reichen völlig aus und haben einen schönen Blick aufs Meer.Einzig zu bemängeln sind die für unseren Geschmack zu harten Matratzen.Im September kommen wir wieder her .Natürlich Asia Bungalows mit SiameServices Travel.

Asia Bungalows are only a few bungalows in a beautiful garden directly at Haad Salad. This is NO RESORT ! There are only the bungalows, for us, the most beautiful place at Salad. Garden and room very(!!!) clean, we had garden view with AC Fan, fridge. 20meter to the beach. Balkony with fountain infront bungalow (some gnats! there) In the daytime the voltage is sometime unstable (affected AC water) Area is highly recommended !

We were very pleased with our stay and would recommend to anyone. Asia Bungalows are top class in the middle of the bay with no bar or restaurant to restrict you to the view of the beach. Salad Bay is the most tranquil bay in Koh Phangnan with only a few restaurants and bars. The beach is shallow with no coral near the shoreline. This is the perfect place for relaxing and if you need a bit more liveliness you can find it just round the corner in Had Yao.

Clean and new bungalows in idyllic surroundings 100m from the beach. We knew there was no breakfast/restaurant so were prepared to wander up the beach to an(excellent)restaurant. Staff were helpful and unobtrusive. Only complaint would be about the dogs that roamed the beach -ok if you\ re a dog lover I guess.

Reasonably priced option right in the middle of Haad Salad Beach. Comfortable, well serviced bungalows seconds from the beach. There is no on-site restaurant but a plethora of dining options either side of the bungalows along the beach.

My wife and I paid a visit to Asia Bungalows at the Salad Beach on Koh Phangan in last March. I had first booked a bungalow there for nine nights only. However, since we liked it there very well, I prolonged after some days until 17 nights. This nice resort was located directly on the wonderful beach, the beautiful bay and has very beautiful bungalows. Our beachfront bungalow had two terraces, a dark glassed sliding door to the beach and also otherwise was equipped well. AC and a safe were natural availably. The bungalow was very clean and the bed has a good quality. The bungalows were integrated in a park area with many palms and plants. The service was carried out by an older thai lady very well with her guys . These also cared about the whole garden area. One also could hand in laundry to the lady for washing. The operator couple was also very nice; guests remaining longer were picked up from the port or driven back by them or by the boss personally with the SUV. Both were always responsive for questions, too. Therefore a recommendation is worth Asia Bungalows any time. There still is a small disadvantage there, though. Of course one is not alone in the bay. There still are other resorts and hotels in the bay (Thats not a problem!!), but at the opposite beach lay several longtail boats there. It was the problem that these boats are started by its owners at 6 o clock in the morning. Some owners let the engines warm up substantially only. This then can be disturbing. Otherwise like to decide again to the Asia Bungalows . Thanks a lot for a pleasant stay at your resort. Uwe Kersten

Nice and clean bungalow. Cleaned every second day. The garden is very well kept. Only ten bungalows, three of them are right at the beach with a beautiful view over the lovely Salad beach. There is no restaurant and not even a reception. That makes it a very quiet place but it always looks a bit deserted and charmless. Owners are nice (if you ever see them...).

Nice,comfortable bungalows, nothing fancy, ours had air con and a spacious bathroom. The bed was two twins pushed together to make a king. Ocean view from porch, Haad Salad beach was just a few steps away. We only interacted with one woman who appeared to run the place and she was pleasant. The bungalow rents motor scooters (like everyone on Ko Phangan) and their is on site laundry service. We would stay here again.

Wonderful bungalow in a beautiful setting. No ammenities .... no retaraunt, wi-fi, TV .... just the beach and relaxation .... The noise was a problem when we were there but they say it normally is very quiet.

Stunning! Amazing! Beautiful! Asia Bungalows are right on the beachfront at Haad Salad. They are quiet, well kept and clean. The staff are very friendly and even arranged a taxi for us at 6am when we needed to leave. There are only 8 bungalows wich is nice as you dont have alot of people arong you. I recomend Asia Bungalows for couples and people with children who are looking for a quiet, relaxing stay.

This resort is great. Great location, nice, clean rooms with plenty of space. Although there is no restaurant in the resort, it's not a problem because there are plenty of restaurants along the beach. The people that run the resort pretty much leave you to yourself. Highly recommned it.

It was a bolevly place! the bangalow we had was clean, the owner sent a taxi to pick us up on arrival to the island. Pitty they don't have their own restaurant, but there are enough places to chill, eat, drink and you can easily rent a motor bike to discover the island.

I stayed here in August 2007 with a group of friends and we LOVED the place. I booked due to the good reviews we d read online and we were not disappointed. For the price (we paid NZD$36 per couple per night) it was absolute luxury. The rooms are tastefully (and newly?) decorated, beds were large and each room had a mini kitchenette with fridge/bench etc. The bungalows are set in a nice well kept lawn/garden area with little pagodas you can sit out of the sun in. It's only metres to the beach (which was unfortunately very shallow), and there are many restaurants to choose from if you walk up and down the beach. We found the place next door particularly good! Staff were friendly, motorbike hire was avaiable very close, all round a great place to stay!

Not cheap but new and very clean bungalows with service (towel cleaning etc). We enjoyed our stay there directly on the beatiefull quiet beach. The english of the stuff was not very good but they were very friendly so... no problem. I can recommend the bungalow 100% if the price is not to much for you.

My partner and I booked Asian Bungalows after we were unable to get into Salad Beach or Salad Hut resorts. In the end we were very pleased that we didn't get accomodation at the latter. Asian Bungalows was superb. A beautiful setting, spotlessly clean with really friendly people. While Asian Bungalows has no pool or restaurant - this didn't matter - there are plenty of restaurants within one or two minutes, village facilities were good too. If you re heading to Tahiland - By Pass Samui - it's passed it's use by date - head for Phangang and Asian Bungalows - a great stay.

Nicest resort at Haad Salad beach (and even on Koh Phangan) with a beautiful garden. Family who runs the bungalows is very friendly and helpful. Good neighbouring restaurant with young and friendly staff (Haad Salad Villa), where we ate each day. Book superior bungalow because the sea view from its terrace and even from inside the room is priceless! The interior of the room is also nice, only the mattress is hard, but it seems to be a common feature of Thailand hotels. A relaxing place with few people around in June.

Wonderful place. We like our stay stay at Asia Bungalows. Got free pickup from pier. We didn't get any pickup when we come but we get a superior bunglow right on the beach instead. Wonderful. Very clean but the beds are a little to hard for my taste. Have an excellent restaurant as neighbour with very good food. Will def. go back as soon as i can.

Nice bungalows in a quiet, peaceful garden environment. Very kind owners who invitetd us at the end of our stay for a BBQ! Simple, but very clean bungalows. The beach front bungalows should be equipped with 2 beds instead of one Grand Lit. Excellent restaurant next door (Salad beach resort) with very reasonable prices. During low tide swimming in the beach not possible. Very interesting reef just 100 m from the resort.

A superb and very informal site with just 5 semi-detached bungalows making 10 bungalows in all. No other facilities, no pool, and no bar, and as a result the bungalows are spaced out nicely in good well kept grounds. The furthest bungalow from the beach is only about 70 metres. This is possibly the cleanest place we have ever stayed at – anywhere! The bungalows were cleaned and all bedding and towels changed every 2nd day. The couple that run Asia Bungalows are very friendly and responded to all our requests in a genuine and positive way. They arranged our exit taxi for 6am and the driver turned out to be their son - good service and good value. On the beach there are a variety of places to eat with two of the best – ‘Bens Place’ for top quality barbecued fish, and passable, steaks right next door and next door to that a delightful little place called ‘Corel Beach’ – very Thai, and a reasonable selection of Western food as well - all at bargain prices. There are lots of other places to eat and drink along the beach, and just behind it, and that is where you will find the Reggae bar – well worth a call or two. The sea in this resort is lovely and shallow – safe for children and non swimmers alike - with a great sandy beach. We had a wonderful time and would definitely book this site again.

A very nice family owned place. Just 9 excellent bungalows close to the beach and a simple reception building, all in a nice garden-like area. No restaurant, BUT it is no disadvantage. All other hotels/ bungalows at the beach have restaurants and we went to different places both for breakfast and all other meales. Good and reasonable prices and more variation than you often get with breakfast included. The beach is worth an own chapter! Clean white sand with plenty of room. 75 m out in the water you find the coral reaf. Bring you own snorkel. It is not the best reaf in the world but clear water and plenty of fish and you can visit it as often as you like at no cost. We did find only one disadvatage with the bungalows, the beds. They are extremely hard. We will ask for an extra mattress if we return to Ko Phangan. If so we will definitely go to Salat Beach depending of the beach quality. Much better than Chaweng Beach on Ko Samui. All this is valid if you like a nice not too intensive vacation. If you like intensive night life and Indian tailors every 20 m go somewhere else!

very clean and comfortable bungalows, quiet, nice surrounding and perfect place on the beach! The beachfront bungalows (superior) are top with big terrace and balcony and very nice view! The owners are very nice and helpful. A lot of restaurants are available on the beach..

Die Bungalows sind sehr schoen und sauber. Es hat jeder Meerblick und die drei vordersten sind sogar Beachfront. Es sind Doppelbungis, was ueberhaupt nicht stoerend ist. Restaurants hat es direkt danaben und somit ist auch dies nicht stoerend, dass das Asia wirklich nur aus Bungalows besteht. Strand ist fuer Kinder optimal. Haette es nicht geregnet, haetten wir eine ganze Woche verlaengert.

Verry nice small village of bungalows put in nice spacious garden. There were only 10 bungalows when we were there witch makes this a very small hotel. The hotel isn't really a hotel though it don't have a reception or a resturant, but this is not any problem. The rooms are nice and the price is very low! The old lady that service the guest stay in a small building next to the hotel and that works out as an reception. Next door is another hotel with a cheap and good resturant where we had breakfast. The only negative thing is that the hotel dosen't really have any chairs for sunbathing/relaxing and they do not accept creditcard (only cash).

Really good location, the bungalows just a few metres from the beach, everything new and fine. Good aircon, fridge, cleaning everyday. Nice owner family and good service. Would stay there again.

WONDERFUL...We have stayed in resorts all over Thailand but this has been the best by a long way. Spotlessly clean rooms, well appointed with aircon and a fan, small fridge, instant hot water and nice decor. Cleaned every other day with fresh linen and towels, free drinking water and toilet paper daily. Laundry is available a 40 baht a kilo, it is returned the next day all laundered and ironed impecably. Penni and her staff keep the grounds and the rooms in excellent shape, flowers and grassy areas lovingly tendeded to.. Do not be put off by no bar or restaurant as there are many avilable minutes away. Pook and her staff next door just right of Asia are great, helpful and excellent food and prices. The beach is pleasant but does need a clean up well up the beach from Asia... An ideal retreat peaceful and beautiful, visit soon before they destroy it with up market botique resorts... The only down point I could find was the beds.....Hard to say the least....Have a great trip

Relaxed in Chang Mai; chilled in Samui; horizontal in Asia Bungalows. Fanbloodytastic. No radio, TV; just the lapping waves 5 yards away. Even our 17 year old lad managed to do very liuttle for 3 days! Don't worry about lack of restaurant, plenty in easy walking distance along the beach. Salad Hut highly recommended for food, beer and pool! Don't play Pong tho , Oh, you re english, you beat me easily . Yeah right, he allowed me to pot 2. Cheers! Not the best beach for swimming, but ok. Quite a few dogs around, had one that used to escort us from the restaurant back to the accommodation looking out for us!! V friendly, and he slept on the veranda. Beds a little firm but got used to it. Shower fine, fridge great, staff great. Would certainly go back...

Clean accommodation located on a quiet beach. Asia is a great place to stay on Haad Salad if you re looking for somewhere cheap. We loved our stay relaxing and doing very little. Asia doesn't have any restaurant or bar facilities itself, but the beach has ten places to eat and drink within 5 mins walk (Asia is conveniently located in the middle). Should note however that at high tide, there is effectively no beach to sit on; but I think this is the same for most of the island. If you ve got a little more money to spend, recommed Salad Hut or Cookies (both on the same beach).

we stayed at a beach front bungalow. the view from the bungalow is PERFECT and it's right on the beach. the bungalow was ok but we think it's a little bit costly compared for other resorts around. the bungalow was clean and comfortable, also the facilities around. there is no restuarant at asia bungalow but we think it's better this way since it's more quite and there are many places to eat with a few minutes of walking. also, the hotel location is great - just in the middle of the beach, so it's close to every thing you need. and the staff clean the bungalow almost every day. we enjoyed our stay and recommend it.

Some of the nicest bungalows on the finest beach in Koh Phangan, new and clean. We had the A/C Superior bungalow, which was at the beach side and had an extra balcony with view at the sea. Nice and quiet beach, pretty far from the main tourist areas. Taxi service available for reasonable price, bike/car rent at 2 min. walk. There are plenty of bars and restaurants at the beach, of which we preferred Salad Hut the most. Too bad there's no pool, but the seawater is clean and warm. Definately recommended!

Fabulous little place. FOund it on SiameServices and was unsure if only glowing reviews were to be trusted - they can be. On arrival bags were carried to beachside bungalow, close walk to several restaurants and view to beach fabulous. For full moon party they organised a taxi to Haad Rin for us, and left us to ourselves, save for cleaning every second day. Was just a wonderfully relaxed, safe environment. I will be coming back again - price is fabulous and there was never any attempt to rip us off, which is a nice change from many other places we ve stayed! Asking for a twin room meant 2 double beds which was great - not the most comfortable but still, bathroom was clean and place was well kept. An absolute pleasure, highly recommended.

This place was absolutely amazing! we stayed 5 nights and we loved every moment of it. cheap price, bungalows are brand new and clean, located on the best part of the beach, has refrigerator and sink, owners were extremely friendly and helpful they felt like family, the garden was beautiful, the Had salad restaurant next door has the best Thai food in Thailand we ate there 3 times a day. Restaurant staff was also very friendly and funny. Basically no complaints at all. Just a note this place is for a quiet vacation but if you want a drink and some good reggae music just walk all the way down the beach to Doulbe Duke. I would definitely come back to asia bungalows. thanks luu!

Loved the Haad Salad Beach. It definitely matches the paradise definition in my head. Very quiet (only waves and birds), cristal clean sea, corals 100m off-shore, delicious food, friendly people. Asia Bungalows have very nicely decorated, clean bungalows,also good value for money. Owner speaks limited English but very helpful & merry.

Asia Bungalows is a great place to stay if you like calm and quiet. Salad Beach is a quiet beach on Koh P, with several other resorts there. When we first arrived we were given a family bungalow which was not what we requested, but in the morning, we were moved to one of the bungalows that is the closest to the ocean. Asia Bungalows does not have a restaurant, but the other resorts do and they are really good. Both bungalows that we stayed in were very clean and the service from the owners was great. I would definately recommend this place for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway.

Clean hotell, very nice staff. We got a great room with a balcony and right by the beach. The lady who works there is very sweet, doesn't speek much English but she'll help you in a great way. Our second day there, we liked it so much that we asked if we could extend our stay until the 20th of December. We got the information that we could. But the 3rd of January we were told that we had to move, which was very short notice during peakseason. Luckily, we got a room at the place next door to the right, where we ate our breakfast everyday. We can really recommend this place too, which also is much cheaper but unfortunately unable to book via SiameServices.com.
