Accommodation and facilities:
This hotel (in fact there are a few dozens of bungalows) is right on the beach, great for families with young kids. In general it is on the pricey side, although requires better housekeeping, FREE WiFi (crazy charges for internet), and the water in the swimming pool needs to be cleaned better or changed more frequently. All in all it was a nice holiday, their restaurant is probably one of the best on the island!

Красивая территория, напрягает рядом проходящая дорого, но на Чанге так практически у всех отелелей. Есть номера с нормальными кондиционерами и есть с старыми очень шумными. Мы жили у дороги, но номер был после ремонта, все новенькое. Уборка в номере 1 бал, белье поменяли только после жалобы на ресепшин и то не все :), хотя, по их правилам должны менять каждый день. Очень красивый пляж, можно посидеть в шезлонге ногами в воде и под тенью дерева или на солнце. Не спите на пляже - кусаются комары и мошки.

Very good location with a lovely beach but the resort itself was a little disappointing. The rooms were simple but comfortable. We had three rooms booked and the shower drained poorly in two of the three. The reception staff sent someone to look but advised they couldn't do anything about the problem. We spent five days showering in ankle deep water... The food in the restaurant wasn't good and service was poor so we ate elsewhere for both lunch and dinner (breakfast was good). Reception staff were pleasant and helpful. Having said all that, we would probably go back just for the location ... but with lower expectations next time.

We used to be in the different countries in different hotels, but it's nothing to compare them to Paradise. Buried in tropical garden and coconut palm trees bungalows create privacy atmosphere as if you live on a desert island. Presence of other tourists and the personnel is not felt. Service at the highest level . All the staff friendly and always smiling. I believe it's the best hotel on Klong Prao. Super! Super! I want to come there again.

The resort is excellent and food and service on a very high level. Beach chairs and organisation around these chairs are very good. (No early towel allowed to reserve chair). Not so good quality of water ( floating seaweed and leaves together with some dirt( bottles and plastic) when we were there and not as good as previous years but just a short walk toward Palm Beach Restaurant ( excellent local place with the islands best fire show) to the left is sufficient to get better beach and water quality so not really a problem. Walking is always healthy and it is a nice walk along the waterfront in the shade under the palm trees back and forward to Klong Prao resort.

Very good standard! Our bungalow had everything one could ask for, and more. We stayed at the waterfont - right by the beach, with a nice swing right beneath our porch. My son loved it! The resort is in a quiet location and the beach is very nice. We prefer this beach compared to White Sands beach. It is not as commercial and more genuin. The staff at Koh Chang Paradise are really something extra! Everyone is very friendly and service minded! They even came to greet me with a cake on my birthday! I would definitely recommend this place.

Positive: -Very good breakfast -Right by the beach -nice personell -Very good spa (Body Work Spa. There Thai Massage is very good. We tried different spas but no one come close to this one) Negative: -you have to get up around 07.00 in the morning to be able to get a sun bed, otherwise they were taken by other guests (they place a towel on the sun bed). They need more sun beds by the pool and by the beach, they are way too few. -Very hard bed in our bungalow!! We asked for extra madresses which we got without problem. -Very noisy AC -The bath room in our bungalow (B6) were not especially clean or nice. Needs renovating. -At first look some of the personell seem to be a bit uninteressted, but they are in fact very funny, nice and helpful... Suggestions: -if the sun beds are unused the staff could take away the towel on them to free them for guests that want to use them and not just reserve them.

Stayed in Beachfront bungalow. Standard OK but extremely enoying air condition that never switched off and sounded too loud. No fan in the bungalow which would have been sufficient cooling during the night. Restaurant: Ok food but service probably the worst we have experienced. Service staff, slow or not present and not very easy to communicate with. No wine list and very bad wine which we returned. We walked over to the other Resort restaurants after the first evening spent at Paradise Restaurant. Breakfast Ok but not more. Water on this part of Koh Chang not very good and clear. Warm yes but the bay at this place made the water a little un fresh. Some what messy on the beach. You were not permitted to put any sun/beach furinture on the beach/sand, only on the grass. Very dispointing. Would not pick this hotel again but go for another on White Sand Beach or at Lonely Beach that seemed to have higher standard but not much more expensive!

Very quiet and nice hotel at the beach. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. We decided to stay extra days and they helped us each time. We stayed in three different houses/bungalows and liked the one closest to the beach the most. We would definately go back to this hotel if we decides to travel to Koh Chang again.

The hotel was a bit expencive, but we think it was worth every penny. We had two beach front cottage 10 nights. One with a family with 2 kidds, and one with grandparents. If you book beachfront ask for A01-A07, they are really by the beach. Our 2-year could go between the beach and the cottage on his own! Breakfast Good! REstaurang more expencive then the rest of the beach.

Beach is beautiful, but : privacy is something different. The buildings are much too close together, from roof to roof there is only 1 meter....Despite announcement they charged for kayak.

Arrived at Resort following train from Chang Mai, bus from Bangkok, ferry from Trat and fianlly the crowded taxi from the harbour, so were very glad to get to our romm and head to the beach for a swim. Room (Superior) very bright, clean, airy with a large balcony and also a large bathroom. Enormous bed, so with hindsigth did not need to get an extra bed for our 12 year old daughter. The bed would easily have acccomodated the 3 of us. Staff, friendly and helpful. Resort is with the little township so there is a bank, bars and restaurants near by for a break from the resort. Beach was nice as was the pool area, we used both frequently. Had our breakfast at the resort as we had paid for it as part of the deal and the choice was enormous and very good. If I was going to Koh Chang I would happily go there again.

Nice hotel, good for family, nice beach and good location, friendly stuff but spa receiptionist. We went to spa house and tried to find the suitable for our short time but the packages are not friendly and very expensive if compare to other hotel on the same level. I used to buy the package for 1.30 h for 45 m. for body scrub and 45 m. for oil massage at The Tide resort at Bangsan Chonburi cost 1250 Baht (and i can use Citibank credit card for 15 or 20% discount). But at this hotel spa cost 1800 for only oil massage or body scrub and don't have combination package and discount if we do both. Overall I like this hotel coz of value of money and will be back again without spa.

Koh Chang is a lovely island. The resort is a little paradise. The villas are clean and nice. Breakfast is very bad (plastic cups and plates like a camping). Only thai food or white toast with marmelade. No service at the table for coffee or thee. Coffee was very bad. Most of the staff are ladyboys or trainees and do not speak english. For this price i would expect a better breakfast.

Great hotel for family!!! We were staying nine nights at deluxe bungalow. Everything was great. Big and clean room. Great Location, only 10 min to White Sand Beach by tuk-tuk. Very helpful and friendly staff. Calm & beatiful sea. Good Spa. I really recommend this hotel for other people. And if i back to Koh Chang I will back to Paradise resort.

This Resort is set in a spectacular bay - lovely white sand beach with gentle sloping water waist high - no rocks -perfect for adults and children lovely swimming conditions. We traveled to Paradise Resort in Aug/Sept during the wet season - what rain?? and had a wonderful time. The resort is wonderful in a perfect setting. Unfortunately, the pool bar was closed along with the beach bar which was understandable as Koh chang was rather deserted of tourists at this time. There was a pool attendant who happily took orders for drinks and food which could be had in the deck chair or at the pool bar or delivered to your room. The restaurant food was very good with generous serves and drinks were very very cheap - in fact the mini bar drinks were the same price as the supermarket accross the road! The old part of the resort is being rebuilt with no disturbance to guests at all - the only time I heard the hammer banging was when I was upstairs in the Spa and it did not last long. During the wet season the resort offers discount on laundry, drinks and food as well as a massive reduction on most of the spa treatments - 2 for 1 or 30%off etc. The wife really took advantage of that. There are two shopping arcades accross the road - tailors, supermarket, italian food (great!) Thai and much more, also car hire, bank, police box - everything you need really. We booked a beach front standard room which was really good with a most amazing bathroom - huge! However we did want to be a little closer to the pool so we upgraded to a deluxe room next to the pool for Aus$10 per night!. We did try to book via SiameServices - however the resort rules the roost here - you can only book the deluxe beachfront via them. For travellers wondering which room they should book - any room beachfront or even the second row is fine and either standard or deluxe - you will be happy. The deluxe room was larger however a much smaller bathroom and no garden in a massive shower like the standard room. The pool is wet edge on the beach and is spotlessly clean. Pool towels are available and plenty of timber deck chairs with cushions. For on the beach you are welcome to take a folding deck chair which are collected again by the resort at 6pm. Lovely swings and rocking timber twin chairs are along the waters edge to watch the sunset. The staff are wonderful, kind and very helpful. At the end of our stay our airconditioner broke and had to move rooms so the resort did not charge for the upgrade (not that it costs much) but appreciated. There is a taxi/bemo car that waits outside the resort to take guests to where ever (at a cost) ie - 50baht to whitesand area. The resort has been around for a while and the rooms are a little tired however still quite good. The resort is starting to upgrade the inside of deluxe rooms during this off season. All rooms have a large deck with good chairs and a table and clothes rack. I think the resort is 3+ star rating - not a four star. We would highly recommend this resort to couples and families and would stay there again ourselves. We think it is like Koh Samui - 20 years ago - tourism has not got too much of a grip on this lovely little island as yet - so take advantage now while you can.

This is a very nice hotel. It is actually just as nice as the website picture it. It is clean, well kept and the personell is very friendly and helpful. The service was perfect and the organisation worked flawless, including the transport to and from trat airport. We where six persons who stayed during two weeks and everybody loved it. We all would love to come back.
