our room was always very clean, staff was very friendly, the resort was well kept all the time, everybody around us had been helpful towards us. what we totally did not like was that there had been around 90% russian guests, drinking and making noise the whole day and night, with very bad manners towards Thai staff and other guests.It is a pity, that those people are spoiling such a wonderful place.

The hotel need renovation. We stayed in the Seaview Villa which was nice. Bad cleaning in the room I had to remind them several times. Breakfast ok, nice beach, very slow service, restaurant had very nice food and quite cheap. Отдыхали семьей с 13 по 19 ноября, брали домики категории Seaview Villa , № 9,10, домики парные с общей террасой, разделены только калиткой, которая у нас всегда была открыта. Домики чистые и аккуратные, понравилось расположение сразу возле бассейна и моря, были удивлены: нет комаров вообще, хотя с одной стороны расположена лагуна. У отеля большая красивая территория, бассейн не большой, но места хватало, хотя с лежаки доставались не всем, но можно было просить мягкие матрасики и лежать под пальмами на песке. Завтраки нормальные, мне за 6 дней не успели надоесть, очень шустрые официанты, грязные тарелки убирали каждые три минуты. За территорией отеля направо есть несколько кафе, массажных салонов и турфирм, налево если идти по неосвещенной дороге минут 15 инфраструктура немного побогаче (надо дойти до 2-х больших слонов и войти вовнутрь, понравилась кафешка m&m. понравилось ездить на пляж White sun, каждый день огненное шоу в разных ресторанах на берегу.Заходили и смотрели другие гостиницы той же ценовой категории, своим выбором остались очень довольны.

Bodde i byggnaden nere mot stranden som hade mycket fina och fräscha rum. Poolen var bra förutom avsaknad av poolhandukar och tillräckligt med solstolar. Såväl restaurangen och frukostbuffén höll god klass och gav valuta för pengarna. Mc uthyrning i anslutning till hotellinfarten. Bra att ha eftersom hotellet ligger lite offside från kvällslivet.

lived with a small child. No children facilities but no cots. Breakfasts are good, but there are no highchairs. Taken in the building deluxe, deluxe, overlooking the lagoon has a more pleasant and a new interior. The room mosquitoes. Cheking in at 11 p.m., eat at that time absolutely nowhere, the food in the room is not available, you can only drink tea or coffee. In general, were satisfied, because price-quality ratio is excellent.

The rooms are very much below price segment! No mosquito nets, no outlets, bad reading light... There were about 10 umbrellas for 200 guests! How is that supposed to work out? There were never enough sun beds. Even when you got up at 7 in the morning there weren't enough left! I guess that there aren't more than 80 of them... again for 200 guests...

We booked a room category that we didn't get (there must have been a mistake somewhere) and since they were fully booked, we couldn't get the quality we booked... When we got there, we found out, that the rooms are cheaper when you book there and not over the internet?! How can that be? I mean we payed well in advance... I found it pretty annoying... But, since we will hopefully get the refund, that is not the problem.

Place is suberb between the sea and the bay. Location on the island is also optimal. Clean, peaceful and beautiful resort. Service is friendly an cosy. Food is good and fresh at breakfast buffet and also in restaurant. Rooms at least on cathegory Standard C are not in good shape as they should, f.ex. textiles are worn out, rooms have only two elecricity outlet which are reserved for tv and refrigerator. It is not possible to use WLAN-internet in rooms, only in reception. At the pool and on the shore there isn't sunbeds to all the guests. Therefore allmost all beds are reserved already early in the morning. Also they haven't enough towels for pool and shore. Owner should invest some money to renovate rooms inside, furnitures and balconys, Internetsystems, sunbeds anr towels. However I might come back some day!

After 4 weeks of island-hopping, we arrived at Klong Prao Resort. It´s a very beautiful place, best location on the beach. We stayed in room V106 = best! We had 20 m to the beach! We were 2 adults and 2 children i that room. The breakfast is fantastic. There´s a lot of russian people in this hotel and they are booking the sunbeds at the beach around 6 o´clock in the morning! Unfortunately there was lots of moscitos here, maybe because the hotel is situated by the lagoon. Use repellents! We will come back!

Замечательное место-Кочанг. Лучший пляжный отдых по моему опыту-это Klong Prao Beach. Сам отель-это большая территория(сад, лагуна, пляж) выше всяких похвал. Заботливый персонал, хороший массаж прямо на пляже. Потрясающе разнообразные и вкусные завтраки. Гости отеля на 60-80 процентов русскоязычные, впрочем это относится ко всему острову. Из недостатков: борьба за бесплатные лежаки начинается с 6 утра(не мешало бы увеличить их количество раза в два, место для этого навалом), в нашем номере было только две розетки (ТВ и холодильник), после захода солнца появляются москиты, у части людей на них аллергия(сыпь и сильный зуд). Лучшее место за небольшие деньги.

We enjoyed our stay at Klong Prao Resort very much. The room seemed a little small at first, given that we had en extra madress on the floor for our son, but it turned out ok. The seaview was great, food was ok and the staff was very nice and helpful. On the negative side, I have to say that the beds was not so good -very hard, which made it hard to sleep the first week, untill we got used to it. Second, you could have more sunbeds and umbrellas available around the pool and on the beach, so we didn't have to stand up before sunrise to have some place to stay during the day. Since we had a 4 year old son, he liked the pool bether than the beach, and then it would be nice not having to fight for sunbeds. Otherwise, we had a very nice stay, and will absolutely recommend this hotel to our friends and family.

Good place to stay and relax. A bit far away from night life, however not a problem if you hire a small motor bike. It would be a + if staff would smile and exchange some words from time to time. Also a + if tablecloth at breakfast would be systematically cleaned (brushed) before the next customer is coming. I would however go again.

Just returned from island. Klong Prao beach for those who likes calmness. All mess on White Sand. Lite breeze does your vacation on Klong Prao not so stuffy as on White sand. Hotel is nice, breakfast is ok. There are many Thai people in hotel with families. Beach is clean and perfect for children. We lived at C house. Rooms are ok for paid money. Everything was nice but moscito!! Use some repellents. Bites re disturbing and driving crazy for many days.

beside some very interested staff members to satisfy their customers most staff was unfriendly and some even lazy. Hotel service failed sometimes because normal desires of technical repairs let us wait for a long time until taking care. A lot of customer babys had to be brought into the swimmingpool, because the respective children's small pool wasn't in operation during our 2 weeks stay. Consquently the water quality was bad.

The reception staff recommended to make reservation in future directly per email at the hotel desk in order to receive better room upgrading conditions. We had to pay a surcharge for upgrading, because we could nt agree on the quality of the room being reserved at check in time. There was a leak in water supply and the room air has been very misty and stinking. The staff said this would be a problem throughout the resort rooms!!!!!

We stayed a couple of days over New Year. The hotel and the staff is good. Though a little overpriced in my opinion. My big complaint is about the restaurant were the service was lousy. Completly caotic I would say. We had to wait very long time for our food several times. The volume from The New Years cabaré was so load it was almost impossible to have any conversation.

Nice resort.Beautiful surroundings.Really near the beach and a lagoon on the other side. Pool and a poolbar also nearby. The location was great.Our bungalow seaview villa was perfekt. If you want a resort that is personal, then you have come to the wrong place. This is a big resort and a warning for big groups of people who are there for conferences.

We stayed for 10 days and were all very pleased with this place. Our children loved the pool and the staff. We had a seaview villa and were very happy. There were tiny ants in the bathroom but they left us alone unless you left food in the open. Will strongly recommend this place.

Very nice resort, which was recommended to us since Ko Chang Kacha was fully booked. The Klong Prao beach is very nice for relaxing and is only a five minute (50 bath) ride from the livelier Long Sand Beach. Hotel staff was very nice and the Sea View Villa was good value for money. Hotel restaurant fabulous with fresh vegetables and an extensive selection.

This is a fantastic hotel with an excellent location along the beach. The beach along the hotel area was very clean and nice. We stayed in a Sea view villa and it was far over our expectation, wonderful decorated, clean and really nice with the veranda. Breakfast was very good. Very nice staff. Only thing to complain about was the pool towels that very often we had to wait for, also number of sunbeds was not enough. Otherwise I would highly recommend this hotel, and would love to go there again.

My girlfriend and I was very happy with this hotel (resort). It was even (much) better than the pictures on the internet. We were very lucky that our deluxeroom (nr. V111) was directly on the beach, with a wonderfull seaview, but the room in itself was also very good and quite large. The breakfast was very good for both thai and farang, and the beach was great. I would absolutely recommend this hotel.

We booked a superior room because no standard room was available. We were given room C19 and had a shock. The room was very poor, lighting minimal and furniture worn out. The bathroom had no hot water, tiny basin and a minimal shower. When next morning we asked if it was really a superior room, they looked surprised. We asked to see a deluxe room which was OK but the price difference was 1100 baht per night. We decided to have one and managed to obtain number V510 on the ground floor in front of the sea,it was excellent . Otherwise the beach is superb and the pool is fine, breakfast is good with a comprehensive choice of products.

We made a reservation on the superior room. It was very disappointing to verify that the room standard was quite poor. The furniture was very old and showed some damaged areas. The bathroom was very small and not properly cleaned, the room as well. The bedsheets had stains.Breakfast was satisfactory but was lacking of more western dishes, such as yogurt,cheese and more varieties of cereals. However I would like to mention that the staff was very polite, friendly and helpful as well. I found out that the food at the restaurant, by the seaside, was quite good and with reasonable prices.

Beautiful hotel with the friendliest and most helpful staff. Set in amazing grounds with great facilities. We had a superior room which was large and my only gripe was the noise from the people upstairs. Breakfast was the best I have ever had. So much choice which changed daily. I travelled with a vegetarian who also had lots of choice. I would love to visit the resort again and stay for longer.

We had 7 nights at this hotel and enjoyed our stay tremendously, mainly due to the very friendly staff, clean and comfortable rooms, and relatively inexpensive meals. We were prepared to hunt other restaurants if necessary but ended up having all our meals at the hotel. The staff were very accommodating since we had 2 children and nothing was too much trouble. We stayed in the cheaper Garden View rooms and it was perfectly adequate for our needs. The only complaints I have (and very petty ones at that!) are the lack of English channels/movies offered on TV when it rains!, and the number of jellyfish in the sea that prevented the kids from swimming away from the pool. Apart from that, enjoyable and recommendable!

A fantastic resort. We stayed in the vip one seaview deluxe rooms. The rooms were fairly big though we only had a partial view of the sea. As has been mentioned before, the breakfast buffet is excellent. The restaurant on the beach was also very good and inexpensive. We ate there every night of our trip. There is a minimart on site beside the restaurant and although the prices are more than a local 7/11 they were still cheap. The pool was fairly large and had a nice rock garden theme to it. The ocean and beach in front of the resort was excellent. Shallow, warm and sandy. Klong Prao beach has beautiful sunsets. The staff, from the management on down, were all nice and friendly. Really easy to joke around with them. I will definately be back.

No doubt we relly enjoyed our stay at Koh Chang as well as Klong Prao Resort. Then room was clean and the hotel service OK. The only irritating issue was the complete chaos with sun-chairs. There were too little sun-chairs and many guests made reservation by leaving the towels on the sun-chairs over several days and nights. A much stricter system is necessary for a pleasant stay for all guests - not only a few.

The hotel, the beach, surroundings the two rastaurants are all to be recommended. The one restaurant is only for brakfast with a wide variety of choices. The pool was the most appreciated by the kids, while we grownsups liked the river coming out into the ocean, when you could go into the stream, depending on high- or lowwater. The river was at the south on the beach. Two smaller restaurants was at the north on the beach, but you could easily take a pickup taxi bothways out by the road for between 20--100 baht towards f.ex. White Sand Beach, depending how long you were going, when going for dinner/shopping. We can highly recommend this Island and this hotel, but with one big minus - We swedes seems to really crowd this Island and totally take over this hotel. So go here soon, cause in a few years, this Island is not a small paradise anymore... They were building new hotels everywhere!

We stayed in one of the 10 sea view bungalows (although there is a road between the sea and the bungalows)recently rebuilt and redecorated. They are beautiful, well furnished and have a nice terrace looking over the klong. The hotel is fine, the staff is kind and efficiant, the breakfast is good and has a lot to offer. The only thing which could be improved is the beach, where there are not enough sunbeds and umbrellas (the plastic umbrellas look really poor compared to the hotel standards).

This is a perfect place for kids. Cheap, interesting, friendly staff, nice pool. We had Seaview 2 rooms almost on the beach. The room was a little dark but big, clean and the bed good - you could find holes in towels and lined and it could be a hassle to get a pooltowel after 10 am. BUT we will be back and look forward to it.

I could warmly recommend this hotel if the reservation, made&confirmed 5 months earlier, should have been the case when we checked in. But we were sent to another hotel the first night, because they were full-booked!!! and when we checked-in again the next day, we got a room in another building than the one we had made in our reservation. So finally on our 3:rd night we got the room /VIP-1,that we should have had from the beginning.We asked for a compensation for all this inconvenience and got a extra night with a discount. So after all we had a good stay at a very good hotel, with a very fine breakfast and a friendly staff

Pretty satisifed overall with my stay. Nice beach and very good facilities.The pool is amazing! Had some bad experience with the restaurant however. Waited a long time for my girlfriends order and when asking for it we got the answer that we havent ordered? Sufficient to say we didn't go there to eat again.. Not that much restaruant area and bars in the Klong Prao Area so if it's partying you are after stay at White sands...

Klong Prao was beautiful. Service was really great. Staff was very friendly. We would highly recommend it to anyone. Our family had a great time. It is very family friendly. There were a few topless bathers on the beach, which it would have been nicer without those. That would be my only complaint. The resort itself was beautiful, the food really good, the atmosphere serene.

Hotel was lovely - with a great beach location at Klong Prao Beach. Hotel food was good. Staff were pleasant. We loved the breakfast buffet. The Standard room was a bit depressing - so we upgraded one level and found the room much nicer. Still simple - but with adequate lighting and AC. The Standard was dark, dank, and had a hole in the bathroom door.

We stayed 2 persons in a VIP-3 room on the 2nd floor and were very satisfied with the facilities, the pool was very nice, but pool personnel could be more service minded reg. cushions and towels. Breakfast buffet was very good, but refill after 9.00 o clock was not always sufficient. Rating 4 of 5.

Second time we stay at Klong Prao and it was a pleasure.Really nice place for kids,beach is wonderfull and the surroundings fine.Brakfast ok but the restaurang at the beach was a disaster ,we got food we had not ordered on two evenings and finally we gave up ! But we found a good restaurang after just 100 meters walk on the beach and that place had deliciuos food.But anyway i´ll recomend Klong Prao to my friends!

I stayed in C block. Excellent hotel, the toilet kept breaking, but was fixed quickly each time. Quiet area, right on uncrowded beach, a few restaurants nearby. Coast road had numerous pick up bus/taxi's for transport to other coastal area s. I would book here again.

Klong Prao was a relaxing place for families--especially with kids. Good swimming pool and beach. Staff were friendly and breakfasts were great. There were nearby restaurants for variety. However, there is still no other island quite like Phi Phi in my opinion. Charlie's was always our favorite there--but it was washed out by the tsunami.
