На остров приехали второй раз. Отдыхали в отеле The Dewa в марте в течение двух недель. Отель понравился: интересный дизайн,обслуживание на хорошем уровне, завтраки разнообразные, очень чистая территория. Пляж один из лучших на острове, во время отлива море конечно же отходит, но искупаться всегда можно. Питаться в отеле дороговато, ужинали в местных ресторанчиках, очень вкусно и недорого. Из недостатков: громкие кондиционеры ( с работающим кондиционером спать невозможно, а без него душно), сильная слышимость из соседних комнат особенно ночью. Однажды пришлось в 4 часа ночи побщаться по этому с соседями, причём мы на русско-английском, а они на китайском, но они нас поняли. Ещё не хватает какого-нибудь досуга ( тренажерного зала, тенниса-бильярда). Если ещё раз поедем на Ко Чанг, то остановимся скорее всего в этом же отеле, так как достоинства отеля преобладают над мелкими недостатками!

Excellent Beach and front desk services. There is a excellent and good value restaurant on the beach FAMILY RESTAURANT . The massage on the beach from DEWA is excellent and really comfortable . It costs only 250 bahts and more than an hour. The housekeeping is not so good. The strings ( that used for tie up the towels) can left on the floor for seven days. No one clean the dirts on the mirror (over the sink)for seven days. I need to complain about the facilities nearly everyday. The extra bed should have 4 wheels but my bed have only two wheels . So it broke down just few minutes after we get in the room. The housekeeping should know about it and they still using it. Then air-conditioner is too noisy. They tried to fix it but it didn't work. I used the ear plug instead. Then no hot water supply and the air conditioner leaked water. The shower didn't work in the bath sink because something was broken (the first time I use). I have been Thailand for many times but this is the first time that I faced so many problems in the room. Anyway they have quick responds in fixing anything except the cleaning (I didn't complain about it). The washroom and the bed is really big

Great staff! Very helpful. Get a room on the 2nd floor or above. We had BIG problems with the mosquitos and had to switch rooms after abt half our stay (in a villa).

Nice hotel and very friendly staff. The beach however is not the best on the island, and the water can be quite dirty at times, since the tide is so big. The hotel is very nice, child friendly with nice kids pool and large beach to play in the sand. We were upgraded to a villa, which was nice but it didn't have a view.

Были в отеле с 8 по 19 ноября, отель не плохой, хорошие завтраки, можно неплохо поужинать вечером на берегу, давит бетонный дизайн, купаться можно только до обеда, расположение не плохое, недовольны работой персонала по мелочам, то немнонго затопили, правда быстро исправили, были несколько проблем с пляжными полотенцами и уборкой, но это мелочи, в целом отель соответствует своему классу

Everything was great from the service, rooms and of course the birthday surprise flowers n cake from the staff. Close tot he beach, and with a big pool, one can relax easily in the hotel coupled with ample food and drinks available by the pool or restaurant. One area they need to improve is the internet connection which is very slow and intermittant. Nearby streets have a couple of shops and restaurants. It is about 80 bhat per person by taxi from the ferry terminal going to trat.

On the overall our stay was great. When we arrived, we were given the room 235, on the second floor. We didn't have any water pressure nor hot water. We then asked to move on the grounfloor, room 118. Although the water pressure was great ( and hot water) but we also had access to free wifi from the room (wifi is only available around the pool). Food at the restaurant is definitely overpriced for what you get, but there are lots of other options around the resort. The service was great and the staff most complaisant. It is a quiet resort compare to the Amari and we were really glad to have chosen the DEWA instead. Breakfast is great, accomodating all taste. I would like to add one last thing. Do not bother booking for your bus/ferry travel from the Bangkok airport as one person from the airport staff suggested (special BangkokAirways promotion). Total crap! A lady called Molly told us that we would have to pay far more money if we were going to take our ticket in Trat. Complete BS of course. Once you get to Trat airport, you realise that you pay for a full service (Trat airport to any resort on Koh Chang) for a fraction of the price, all inclusive of bus and ferry....otherwise, all good!

Our family of 4 stayed for 5 nights (31.12-5.1) at Dewa Koh Chang. Nice location, excellent pool, close to a very good beach (1-2 minutes away). The rooms are just 5 meters from the pool, amazing. A few, but good, cafes and restaurants in the hotel area. Easy to find alternatives nearby. Hotel/restaurant staff; friendly and welcoming, but their English is often poor. In total, Dewa is a rather small, high quality hotel with a friendly, personal and relaxed atmosphere. I recommend it and would absolutely return again.

If you are looking for five star service with a friendly, relaxed atmosphere, look no further. The hotel is just as the photo s, the staff could not be more helpful, the beach front is close to perfect and being 5-10 minutes from a mixture of good restaurants, we would have no hesitation to return to the DEWA. The only problem is when can we get back...!!

This hotel is a designers dream. They have thought about every detail-even the fork and knife at the breakfast table. We have nothing to complain about. All staff and a lot of staff were very kind and helpful with whatever asked for and not asked for. Perfect situated at private beach and a big beautiful swimmingpool. Big wonderful breakfast. Dinner right on the beach. We will recommend this resort to all our friends.

This hotel belongs to the most beautiful in Koh Chang. The beach is calm and cosy (and clean!!), great massage at the beach on the hotel sun decks at local prices!! (not to be missed). Good choice of breakfast buffet. Loong pool to chill out, tastefully decorated rooms..(free DVD collection). It can't get much better!!

The Dewa Koh Chang is a wonderful resort. Beautiful rooms and great bathrooms! I requested for adjoining rooms and got them! The pool was beautiful and huge. The service staff are all very friendly and efficient. It would just help to have a little more vanity light, but all in all we had a very relaxing vacation. Would recommend this place to our friends.

the hotel is nice. I ve seen many in thailand and this, being nice is average. Boutique, yes. On a nice beach (in winter of course). Problem. Evry Thai person knows how to cook well. They might not know at the DEWA, where the kitchen is really poor. I don't mean poor on international dishes, poor even on thai dishes. A simple Phad Thai was a conglomerate of noodles I had to cut with hte knife. It's a good excuse to seek for the good restaurants nearby. Breakfast is awfull. Large display of nothing...I m usually a positive person and I would accept it in the middle of africa, but Thai hotels spoiled me with great breakfast and one of the best cuisine...Sorry DEWA.

Great resort if not the cheapest. Rooms were stunning with enormous balcony and a great view over the pool. Lovely beach restaurant with fairy light and dinning right by the sea. Staff were very helpful and not snooty (more than can be said for some of the other guests stony faces). Would return happily.

Great hotel, fantastic contemporary design, as resort is brand new. But a major problem with the place is their service at the restaurants. The food is very good, but they forget parts of the order, serve wrong food, or generally serve very slowly, so that it takes a long time from the first to the last dish appear on the table. This was especially annoying for us travelling with small children, as our meal would end even before the children were served. This happened both at the restaurant, by the pool and when using room service.
