Accommodation and facilities:
This hotel actually consists of two parts, hill side and beach side, separated by the main road. Booked a room on the hill side, which was good value for money. There were no elevators and a lot of stairs. Nice swimming pool on the beach side. Hotel is located at the end of the walking street, about 10 minutes walk to the center. private beach is a joke; this is actually a terrace with sand on it. The hotel is located on a rocky shore; the actual beach ends about 100 meters before the hotel and there is no direct beach access from the hotel.

在白色沙滩区，宾馆很漂亮，自助餐也不错，但遗憾的是靠的海不是白色沙滩，有石头，游泳不理想，但游泳池还不错，晚上泳池里有光，还可以泡在里面的。周围足疗，海鲜馆也很近，很方便。性价比还是不错的。

жили 10 дней в вилле с бассейном. в бассейн заходили раза 3. номер хороший - но только для двоих - с ребенком 7 лет тесновато. отлель реально хороший, стоит хорошо, завтрак хороший, бассейн хороший. пляж маловат, по морю 50 метров в воде по колено огромный песчаный пляж. на острове этот отель расположен очень хорошо - мы объехали весть остров. Удачи!

Пожалели что переехали в Kacha.Рядом 7\11 отличные бассейны пляж хороший Если еще немного убрать мелких камней из места захода в море а это можно сделать за 2-3дня это место будет лучшим на Ко чанге!!!

We checked into this hotel seaside for the first 4 nights. The room was big, clean and modern. The view wasn't very good for the price of the rooms so we decided to move to another room in the cheaper price range which was over the road we took a room over looking the pool. The room was old and dirty it was a lot smaller than the first room, the towels were old and shabby and the bed sheets grey. As we had a child we decided to have breakfast one morning on the seaside as we had before it mention our child could play, we were told we were not allowed to eat that side of the road or pay more money to?? This is two hotels with share of the pools and sea access ( no beach) The seaside psrt is nice but still we have spent the past 10 years having holidays in Thailand this hotel is expensive for what it has to offer.

Mycket bra service, trevlig personal. Fin anläggning. Ingen strand men bra pool. Hiss är ett plus för oss som barnfamilj. Jättefina rum. Great rooms, excellent quality design and size. Hot water tap in the shower was almost impossible to control, fluctuated from cold to hot without any action on our part. Another negative: almost no choice at breakfast of Thai food, only Khao Tom.

Boede 4 nætter på Chang Buri i delux værelse på strandsiden. Værelserne store og meget moderne og har slet ikke nogen thailands stil over sig. Der er en meget lille altan med 2 strandliggestole. Der er ikke sandstrand ud for hotellet, men det er muligt at komme i havet af en rampe og svømme ud over store sten. Poolen er ekstrem kold. Morgenmadsbuffen har et stort udvalg. Om aftenen kan høres en stille larm fra barområdet, når man sidder på altanen, men ikke inde på værelset med lukkede døre.

Красивые номера, разнообразные завтраки, хороший бассейн, удобный заход в океан для тех кто любит плавать, близость к песчаному пляжу и вечерним тусовкам и в тоже время тишина. В тоже время есть и существенные недостатки - очень нерасторопный персонал ( не был вовремя подготовлен номер при вселении), у нас и наших друзей были выпиты спиртные напитки, хранящиеся в холодильнике. На пляже не хватает лежаков, зонтиков и пляжных полотенец. Не хватает столиков для завтрака на свежем воздухе.

A nice hotel and very polite and helpful staff. We traveled with four children and Chang Buri was perfect for us considering breakfast, food and pool area. The beach is only a five minute walk away and the only thing that could be a problem is crossing the road at heavy traffic time. The rooms were a bit worn but still it didn´t matter so much. We would stay at Chang Buri again if we return to Koh Chang.

Stayed at the hillside for three weeks. The location is perhaps not the greatest, there is about a 10 minute walk to the beach, but you can also just go to the seaside across the street and get down to the ocean from their steps (no beach though). Rooms and service is very good.

We had a nice pool villa for 3 days, wich was great with you own pool. Then we stayed one night in the most basic hotelroom, which was a little more simple in decoration, but non the less very functional. Good air condition, working hot water. One small downside, which is totally due to the low season, was that the sea was dangerous to swim in at the hotel. Probably because of high waves in combination with rocky ocean bottom (no beach at the hotel, just stairs). We are very satisfyed and can recommend this hotel.

The hotel was close to the biggest bar in WSB. But when you close the door to the room you couldn´t hear the noice from outside. Breakfast ok but it was very cold inside (ac) and a lot of small flies on the breakfastbuffé. No beach but slippery stairs down into the water. The pool were big and clean but there was a lot of trees arond the pool with big yellow fruits in it. This fruits fell of very often and hits the ground...or someones head! The smell of this fruits was no good=(

Good as always. Only that we have booked one room with twinbed. If you share the bed with a child, notice that the beds are very small. Book a kingsize (doublebed) instead! So you dont have to sleep on the floor=)

Жил в Hill side, вполне приличный номер балконная дверь с сеткой от комаров так, что ночью кондиционер можно не включать, свежий воздух идет от джунглей, была только одна проблема - не регулировалась температура воды в душе, шла или горячая или холодная. Персонал вежливый, но душ так и не исправили. Понравился завтрак. Пляжа, как такового нет, по бетонным ступенькам выход в море.

This is not a 3 star hotel i have stayed in lots of hotels all over thailand and all ways been happy with the service ,how ever chang buri has to be the worst value for money and service we stayed a week in the [hill side ] the showers did not work during this time dispite several requests they were very hot or very cold all in the space of one shower ,towels are not availble around the pool until breakfast stops at ten ,there is a 500 bart key deposit ,How ever on our return one night 1230 pm we found our key left on the front desk unmaned with no one insight. We stayed at the resort for 2 weeks. The rooms were very well kept and the staff were very nice. We had a pool villa that was very nice and the view was wonderful. The location was on its own area with no real beach to walk down to, but the pool side and ocean side area was nice and the sunset was always great. I would suggest asking the locals where the nice places to eat are and if you like the night life to visit Seabay Bar, they have dancing. Most of the places to eat were reasonable and were seaside dinning. All and all the resort was one of the best places I have stayed at in Thailand. We will be back again.

Booking was good. I did not get to speak with an agent which concerned me and we did call the resort a week before arriving, but the experience was good. I was not use to doing everything online and hoping for the best, so I did call to confirm. I was a lot of money for us, but it was well worth the trip.

the hotel is very oorly staffed; there was no sand access to beach and water was rocky so not children friendly; we had a pool villa that was very froothy at night and full of bugs by morning; the main swimming pool gets no direct sunlight due to trees so was quite cold: the restaurent is very small and cannot accomodate all guests around 9 am for breakfast;;;;;;althought the room was very comfortable you have to travel for the sandy beaches which are all privetly reserved for their guest so must lie on sand and not beach chairs like on ,ost other islands in thailand;;;;very dissapointed in koh chang and will not return again; the hotel room telephones cannot make outside calls and charge 5 baht a minute for use of the only hotel mobile; the gala dinner felt like it was left overs from breakfast and lunch;;;;;very pooor selection on behalf of siameservices; will not return

This resort has 2 areas, the first being the budget hotel style accomodation. The hotel rooms are very basic; cracked bathroom tiles, sheets with holes in them (in 3 different rooms) threadbare towels, 1 soap, 1 cable TV channel (despite adverstising otherwise), no tea/coffee facilities in the room, and little information in the rooms such as WIFI access or breakfast arrangments in the hotel. A very noisy generator that didnt work one morning at all. Great buffet breakfast though and very friendly nice staff. The second resort style accomodation is across the road and on the beach, although you cannot get to the beach it still has a beautiful outlook to the edge of the ocean. The pool here is gorgeous and the rooms are modern and lovely, but over-priced I think for Whitesands beach area during the low-season as it was disappointing to see much cheaper rack rates at other hotels down in the area. Still a limit on bathroom soap, and still budget towels and still only 1 cable channel with no WIFI or room information offered. The breakfast staff made me feel like a criminal, over-service perhaps but they hovered around and made me feel guilty for going to the buffet, despite the high cost at no extra value for the buffet on this side of the accomodation. But at least at the resort they let our family of 2 adults and 3 young children share one room as being at opposite ends of the corridor was very strange.

Such a beautiful hotel with perfect garden and swimming pool. The room is clean, modern and spaceous. Staff are helpful and eager to please you. Good selection of food and breakfast, though a bit expensive. The only 2 comments we would like to make are firstly, the hotel has no beach. We had to walk only a few min. on the road to reach the public access to the beach which is never a problem for us, 2nd comment would be for the hotel to improve on a better quality coffee !!!

I was very dissappointed with this hotel. It has absolutely no beach, which I didn't get from reading all the blurb. You can swim from a pontoon, but it's not very inviting. The pool is nice and they ve made a good effort with sun lounges by the raised water front and a sandy bit, but watch out for sand flies! The rooms are lovely and staff was fine. The massage in the Spa was great. The hotel itself has no heart and I will never go back there or to Koh Chang again! This island epresented the worst of Thailand to me. Crap things in the markets, a bit dirty, no fantastic beaches. We spent 8 days on Koh Mak before which we loved and would happily go back to.

Nice Bungalows and good Spa, thats all. There is no beach only rocks! Very narrow breakfast area, not nice if the hotel is full. And a absolute stupid but expensive New Year Dinner!!!

Hello. Room was nice (D423) and hotel Staff at the beachfront was very nice and happy and kind and helpful. Competency was nt so good. From room D423 was not strait access to pool. That was a small disapointment. However, hotel was good.

Lovely hotel situated very near White Sand beach, with a very hospitable staff. They have a great swimming pool just on the edge of the sea, with a great view of sun-set. I would say, the place is a value for money.

Very efficient and hassel free. Entire booking was completed within one day.

I booked this hotel because of the very swimming pool pictures no matter there is no beachon front of the hotel,but those beautiful pool pictures are just for the villa customers only, but the hotel location is great and the receptions are very helpful.

I had a Superior room, Hillside Hotel and cannot recommend it. There was a VERY distinct smell of mold in the room, from what seemed to be a construction fault. Water was dripping down from the ceiling (A/C within) down to the wood parquet flooring. The Hotell staff claimed never to have heard such a complaint earlier, wich I find unlikely, and we couldn't change room. I was glad it was only 3 nights we had there and that no one got sick.

Do not recommend the standard hotel rooms. They smell of dampness! We uppgraded our reservation to their luxuray bungalows facing the sea! They were absoluty fabulous! And the Spa....lost for words, it is great! Uppdrading to the luxuray bungalows was worth every penny!

Nice clean hotel with very friendly staff. See to book a room overlooking the pool and not the backgarden where is a working area at the moment + it´s rather dark. Notice that there is no difference between a superior room and a deluxe room. The only difference is a minibar, a hairdryer and a connecting door to another deluxe room. They charge you 700 bath/day for it. We were very disappointed that SiameServices didn´t inform this more clearly on their website. If I hadn´t asked the staff at the hotel about the difference we would have paid 6300 bath (9 nights) extra for nothing. After several and persisting phoncalls with SiameServices it worked out so we got a refund.

The resort is gorgeous! Fantastic villas, even those facing the swimming pool. Service is excellent and staff kind and helpful. The only negative point is that there is no beach in front of the resort. You have to walk 3/4 minutes to access the beach a little northwards. In any case the beach is soon completely submerged by high tide (starting from 1pm) and the sea had very strong and long waves. So, much better to stay at the resort swimming pool. The resort spa is fantastic. Very professional spa staff and absolute client oriented service. A real pampering time. Very poor night life in the village. Everything closes at 22.00!!

I stayed on the hillside across the street from the property beachside bungalow. The room is okay but they really need to replace the shower curtain in the bathroom! It has mold and mildew. The maid also leave the exit door open in the day and let in many bugs and mosquitoes in the hallway. The overall rating is good except for the dirty shower curtain.

Good location at white sands but away from the beach. Staff, food, etc were great. However, made reservation 5 - 6 months in advance and was stuck in unit facing outside the complex (towards small farmhouse w/ roosters crowing at 4am each morning). Don't know if due to reduced price reservation thru siameservices.com but have to wonder. Pool facing units are the ones to have.
