This international restaurant serves a variety of Thai and Western cuisine, classically prepared by Chef Somai Yuenyung. Signature dishes include "Khao Pad Rot Fai," or Railway Fried Rice, as well as a wide selection of pasta and sandwiches. The Railway Restaurant also serves a breakfast buffet, including both Asian and Western cuisine. Great resort, good value for money. The hotel has many classical details, form ceilings to light switches, giving it a very special atmosphere. The breakfast buffet is stunning, the service as you may expect from a 5 star hotel. Only comment would be that they have a insect problem in the rooms.

When going to Hua Hin don't hesitate. This is the place to be. Beautiful rooms (although the teak wooden floors can be a bit noisy if you have heavy footed upstairs neighbours) but the twenties style of the place is astonishing.

Extremely beautiful hotel, with excellent facilities and great rooms (we had the superior and they were spacious enough for a 3 p family). Three cons though; Hua Hin is a terrible place, the beach is not very inviting; and the staff is cold and distant compared with other hotels we have stayed in in Thailand.

Accommodation and facilities:
A beatuful, large hotel on the beach located right at the center of the town. We were upgraded for a jounior suite room upon arrival for booking a superior room which was a pleasant surprise. Hotel staff are very friendly and helpful and a large percentage of them can understand basic English for communication needs. We enjoyed walking in town for dining and shopping which we could find everything in about 20-min walking radious.

Went smoothly except for a moment of check-in process which seem a booking agency may have had a misspell or two. Nothing major.
