Baan Talay Dao is well located and has a pleasant garden atmosphere on the edge of the sea, but it is grossly overpriced for the facilities it offers. Australian hotels charge about the same for much better accomodation.

This was a beautiful resort. Quiet and peaceful, located right on the beach. The staff members were all very friendly and helpful...some of the best service I ve experienced. The only negative I d mention would be that there aren't any nearby restaurants (their own restaurant is decent, but overpriced). To compensate for that, though, they do provide shuttle service to town. Overall, I d highly recommend this resort if you re looking for rest & relaxation in Hua Hin.

1.ทุกๆพื้นที่ของรีสอร์ทถ่ายรูปออกมาได้สวย เนื่องจากสถานที่ร่มรื่นเหมือนกับที่เคยดูจากหลายๆเวป พื้นที่รีสอร์ทขนาดเล็กแต่จัดสวนได้น่ารักมากๆ กลางคืนเปิดโคมไฟตามต้นไม้สวยมาก 2.พักห้อง Duplex ค่ะ เข้าใจผิดอย่างมหันต์ คิดว่า2ห้องนอน จะไม่นับห้องใต้หลังคา แต่จริงๆแล้วนับห้องใต้หลังคาเป็น 1ห้องนอน ซึ่งขนาดเล็กกว่าห้องนอนปกติ และใช้ที่นอนขนาดเล็กวางกับพื้น 2 เบาะ จึงต้องนอนเบียดกัน จึงรู้สึกว่าค่าห้องแพง แต่ตัวห้องปลอดโปร่งดีค่ะ 3.ช่วงกลางวัน ไม่สามารถนอนที่ชายหาดได้เลย เนื่องจากเป็นด้านที่แดดส่อง และทางรีสอร์ทไม่มีร่มให้ ต้นไม้ริมหาดเป็นต้นสน น่าจะ 2ต้น ไม่สามารถบังแดดได้ ส่วนใหญ่จะอยู่แต่ในห้อง น่าเสียดายเพราะปกติจะชอบนอนริมหาด 4.เรื่องอาหารเช้าต้องปรับปรุงด่วนค่ะ ก่อนไปก็อ่านหลายๆ review เห็นว่าส่วนใหญ่จะcomment เรื่องอาหาร แต่ก็ไม่คิดว่าจะแย่ขนาดนี้ หากซื้อคูปองแยกก็ประมาณ 340-350 ค่ะ ถือว่าแพงมาก เมื่อเทียบกับอาหารที่เตรียมไว้ มีให้เลือกน้อย และไม่อร่อยเลย ถามพนักงานว่าอาหารมีให้เลือกเท่านี้หรือ พนักงานตอบว่าอาหารรีสอร์ทก็เป็นแบบนี้แหละครับ ดังนั้นอยากจะแนะนำว่าซื้อค่าห้องไม่รวมอาหารเช้าดีกว่าค่ะ และไปทานข้างนอก ซึ่งใกล้ๆมีให้เลือกหลายร้าน 5.พนง.ผู้ญ.ที่เก็บเงินค่าอาหารเช้า ดูหน้างอตลอดเวลา คนอื่นยิ้มแย้มแจ่มใสดี reception&roommaid โอ.เค.ค่ะ 6.แนะนำให้มีพนักงานคอยดูแลลูกค้าบริเวณสระว่ายน้ำริมหาดค่ะ เพราะบางทีเราต้องการความช่วยเหลือเล็กๆน้อยๆ บ้าง 7.ชายหาดพอใช้ได้ค่ะ ไม่ถึงกับสงบมาก เพราะมีรีสอร์ทติดกันหลายๆที่ มีเรือกล้วยด้วยแต่แพงมาก

Room was okay - the balcony was little bit poor because not really comfortable furniture. Over all it was okay - but for what you become it should be little bit cheaper!

Very nice tiny resort in the seafront. Room, pool and the seafront-breakfast all very relax. staffs are very nice and try to help! But only one problem: beside this hotel there is a building work, they are just start to build a hug appartement next door of this hotel. So big noise all the day, from 8 a.m. until very late in the night. this is some kind of noise which no body wants to support during a holliday time.

The hotel is nice, but we need some form of transport to the city as it is located in a small village south of hua-hin. The room had no sea-view, bathroom was rather smallish, but service was friendly and efficient. Due to the rise of the sea level in the world, the beach in front of the hotel is not accessible half of the day at high tides, which makes this place less attractive than expected.

We stayed at Baan Talay Dao Resort for two weeks in February 2008 and had a great stay thanks to the always smiling, helpful and kind staff. Our two sons aged 2 and 4 got so much attention from the staff members who treated them like small kings, brought them fruit snack whenever needed and helped us watch them around the pool and near the walls separating the resort from the pool area. We can highly recommend the resort for other families with small children. The pool is not very big, but perfect because it is possible to see the entire pool area from any deck chair and thus easy to watch kids playing in the water. The pool has a small section with shallow water and two small fountains which are great fun to play with. The garden of the resort is a lovely green, exotic place, perfect for small walks and for exploring plants and flowers as well as watching gold fish. The restaurant of the resort offers great fresh food. The prices are affordable, although a little high, but the atmosphere, the staff, the view of the ocean and the proximity to the pool area make the prices reasonable. Try the watermelon shake, the fruit shake, the crab cakes, the club sandwich, the pineapple boat with chicken salad and many other delicious dished! Our only (minor) complaint is that we could have wished for a better selection of ice cream for the kids. We stayed in the duplex suite which is very spacious with three balconies, two bathrooms, two bedrooms and one living room. The outdoor bath is very nice. We sure would like to go back to the Baan Talay Dao Resort.

The Baan Talay Dao was definitely a wonderful experience for our family. The villa we stayed in was perfect and the staff couldn't have been more helpful or courteous. We truly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend the resort. We have a 4 month old and a 6 year old. The resort was perfect for all of us. The only downside is the pool is very cold, as it is in the shade all day and all afternoon. Our son still had a blast in the pool with the other kids at the resort. Also, if you want to be able to lounge on the beach the Baan Talay Dao does not have beach for the majority of the day (in late December/early January) because the tide comes up to the resort wall. Honestly, the resort staff were some of the best we have experienced in our travels. Very accomodating and welcoming. We will stay again! Thank you.
