| The Restaurant: Located at beach front and near the pool, open all day at 7:00 - 21.30 hrs. The Restaurant serves everything from a buffet breakfast to an a la carte menu of Thai, Asian and International cuisine as well as Prachuapkhirikhan exotic seafood all prepared by our Master Chef. The dining room has a seating capacity of 90 people. The Coffee Corner (Cafe De WA): The coffee shop has a unique contemporary design with its upper desk where you can sit and relax. Out there, coffee klatch is easily made in a friendly and homey atmosphere. On the upper deck of Cafe de WA, you can also enjoy watching the sun first appears at the Pacific Ocean in the morning with a cup of neatly brewed coffee in your hand. อาหารเช้าไม่ควรจะคิดเงินกับเด็กที่อายุไม่เกิน10ขวบโรงแรมมีความเคี่ยวเกินไปเนื่องจากเด็กจะกินอาหารไม่มากแล้วลูกค้าส่วนใหญ่จะพาลูกหลานไปเที่ยว ในการไปครั้งนี้ทำให้คนที่มาครั้งแรกรู้สึกไม่ประทับใจและคิดว่าคงไม่หวนกลับไปที่นี่อีก แล้วพนักงานก็คอยจ้องลูกค้าที่ไม่มีคูปองโดยลูกค้าได้พาเด็กประมาณ5-9ขวบมาทานเด็กทานเพียงเล็กน้อยแต่พอผู้ใหญ่ช่วยเด็กทานปุ๊บก็มาบอกว่าต้องจ่ายตังค์มันเกินไปทั้งๆที่พักคืนล่ะ5850 เด็กจะเยอะกว่าผู้ใหญ่แต่เป็นเด็กเล็ก อาหารที่เหลือคุณก็ทิ้งโปรดอย่าเคี่ยวคุณรวยได้ก็เพราะลูกค้าอาหารเพียงเล็กน้อยอย่าคิดมาก พักครั้งนี้กับทางโรงแรมคุณก็ประมาณเกืบ50000 แต่พนักงานคุณพูดจาก็ไม่ดี แถมเคี่ยวเรื่องอาหารเช้าอีกมันงกไปไหมค่ะ

Lovely hotel.Our garden room was a good size and very clean. Very pretty resort with a nice large pool and good restaurant.Very friendly, helpful and sweet staff. The location was very quiet in August which really suited us. Most people who stayed in the area were Thai which was great - the area is still fairly undeveloped and I hope it stays that way.

A fine resort for the very reasonable price. The area is very quiet and the options limited, but for a short getaway trip it is very recommendable. The temple at the top of the nearby hill is absolutely worth a visit.

Was allocated a Twin room and not a double as requested. How could this happen, when the hotel had at best, 30% occupancy for the entire time we were their? Decided to stay in the room for duration of 10 day stay. Room is spacious with a large bathroom and outdoor shower. Beds firm and comfortable. Aircon is very good. Mini fridge was effective. Decent wifi reception in room which was great. Had problem with rowdy neighbors on first night which I eventually had to get out of bed at 11.30 PM to walk to reception to try and get the person on duty to attend to as NO English is spoken so he couldn't understand my initial polite request on the internal phone. Only 1 member of the staff could speak relatively decent English. Breakfasts were average, but sufficient food on offer. Swimming pool is great, but only 14 sunbeds on offer (for 100+ guests when full) resulting in the usual scramble from European guests to book their sunbeds with their towels. Beach is quite good, relatively clean by Thai standards and sunbeds and umbrellas for use by hotel guests. Water is murky though and no chance of viewing any fish life even 400 meters out. Hotel meals and drinks prices as usual, not at all good value, but there are 6 restaurants within 7 minutes walking distance. Overall though, would still recommend the hotel and resort as it offers good value for money if you use the alternate dining options.

Ban Grood Arcadia is a great place if you are looking for a relaxing holiday. The entire Ban Grood beach is very empty. The friendly and helpful staff made the stay very pleasant. Great swimming pool - one of the best we saw. Free use of bikes provided by hotel.Ban Krud is not a place for clubbers.We recommend the visit of the beautiful temple Thong Chai.

Booked two nights at 1400 baht per night with breakfast through siameservices website for nights of 3 and 4 jan 2010. Got allocated room 202 on second floor. Stayed there again on 4 February 2010 for one night and asked for high floor room - got room 402 which was on top floor and had sea view. This time we booked through asiarooms and paid 1100 baht per night with breakfast. On first stay, found out on arrival that we could have booked same room direct for 1200 baht per night. Booked standard room which is in a block at the far end of the property Seems to be mostly Thais staying in this part westerners are in bungalows near pool Great deal for large family is three bed villa at 6000 baht special rate instead of 15000 baht regular Standard Room is small but very clean with ac bathroom tv and small terrace Talked to german couple who are renting a bungalow for 1800 baht per night for two month stay Breakfast simple but good good choice of Thai food two types of fresh fruit two types of cereal freshly cooked eggs toast juice and coffee. Bread, coffee and juice were poor quality though. Great swimming pool - one of the best we saw on two month trip. Free use of bikes provided by hotel. Wifi and shared laptop in reception area free. Warning: beach is dirty in baan krut and locals are not friendly to non-thais. Also there is a problem with jellyfish so stay in the hotel pool or be careful when you swim. This is one of a series of 18 reviews posted during a two month stay in southern Thailand from Dec 2009 to Feb 2010.

Ban Krut is a Paradise where you can relax and there are no salesmen/women on beach. The water is clean, some days wavy and som days not. Baan Grood Arcadia is a nice place with a large pool area but we request more sunbeds and several more sun-umbrellas. Standard room is clean with good beds but very small and no wardrobe only a 2dm long hook to hang clothes on. Internet is free. Bicycles are free to borrow but they are very bad-maintained and rusty. Some pumps in the parkingplaces, a competent bicycle-technician and investment in oil would pay in the long run. Bring your own lamps for both front and back if you want to bike around at night to market or restaurants. There is one shop in the area you can bike to, where to bye bear, cookies and toiletry etc. There are some small restaurants and the best is, with no doubt, The Beach with good food and also music in evenings. We will be back again for 4-5 days for nice relax.

Great place if you are looking for a relaxing holiday. The entire Ban Grood beach is very empty and clean, with big waves. The hotel is located along the central stretch, and is a road away from the beach. The friendly and helpful staff, free use of bicycles and jacuzzi pool made the stay very pleasant. Did I mention about the swimming pool boasting a size that allows for proper swimming (not just dipping)? The spa facilities were not ready (not in operation) during our stay. But that wasn't much of a problem since we filled our days with cycling, swimming, and walks down the beach. Not a place for clubbers.

I liked this place so I returned. The standard room was compact but comfortable. The superior room was spacious. Both had balconies. The rear block was some 100 metresfrom reception but bicycles were free or they would pick you up in a golf cart if disabled (access good alround except small bathrooms). An ideal day's drive from Patong (504 km).

New, and very very clean. Nice facilities. pool and Bar/restaurant area is fantastic, like a 5 star hotel. The standard rooms are in a separate block at the rear, bit of a walk, but EXCELLENT value for money. WOULD STAY AGAIN!!!! Location opposite the beach is perfect!

Accommodation and facilities:
Although the hotels restaurant ran out of Singha beer (Thailands own brand)in big bottles for several days, and there wifi-connection is very very poor, the hotel has a very good loacation with a beautiful swimmingpool and very nice rooms with big and nicely kept bathrooms.
