Accommodation and facilities:
Staff very friendly and helpful. Difficult to find as the taxi drivers wouldn't stop directly at the hotel. Print off a small map as there are many siameservices inns in this area and you and the locals get confused finding it. Water in room wa greatly appreciated. Room cleaning good. No toilet paper must be put in the toilet so that is something to get used to. Many places in Thailand do not allow flushing anything apart from the obvious down the toilet. Bathrooms are dirty and toilet gets wet when you shower. A little noisy because of the location and many partygoers/backpackers stay here. Many taxi drivers outside the hotel harassing and hounding you everyday. Just explain you already have plans or reservations otherwise they will try to convince you that their plans or companies are better. Overall an average stay.

The location is fantastic, the airport express bus station is just in front of the hotel. The room is very small, the noise of A/C is a little big. however, I did not expect too much, it is cheap hotel.

We stayed there for 2 nights and our stay was pleasant. Though the rooms were small, they were perfect for 2 people. You can not beat the location though. In heart of Khao San area and very near to all amenities and tourist places. Good budget hotel for short stay.

The hotel is very efficiently run given the number of people the have to deal with. Room was fine and quite big enough, we were on the 4th floor but someone carried our bag up and down. A bit noisy, but then that is why you pick the area - to be in the thick of things! Also airconditioner leaked a bit. Very convenient to be able to go shopping, come back - have a shower change and go out again within 10 minutes! Breakfast included was fine, but we usually bought extra orange juice from 7/11 round the corner. We loved being near Khoa san road and the parallel street where we had dinner both nights we were in bangkok. Shopping is good, taxis can find it okay. however don't use taxis outside unless you are sure of the price, as they don't use the meter and will charge you abotu 3 or 4 times the actual rate. airport bus right outside was very convenient. we will stay again next time we come to bangkok. Was good value for money.

My family and I had a great stay at Sawasdee Khaosan Inn. Staffs were very helpful and we like the location. Easy to get the airport express bus, find the dining places and transportation to get around Bangkok. We shall come back to Bangkok and stay at Sawasdee Khaosan Inn.

the hotel is allright for a city hotel, but not really beautiful. internet is quite cheap 40 baht/hour the room was clean and you have everything you need, so in my opinion its perfect to stay near khaosan road. check out at 4pm is just 200 baht more, whats very helpful when your plain leaves later

Fantastic Location close to everything! Temples, Khaosan Road, Shopping. The Food in the restaurant is good and people friendly and the Free breakfast is a bonus. My room was clean and room service good. I did hear the band play We will Rock you from the bar across the street at 4am buy hey, this is Bangkok right? It's all good and a great Hotel.

It was an average stay. There was no hot water yet it was a more expensive hotel than others around that area. When we tried to check in after the struggle to find the place, the reception were doing too many things at once and not servicing customers very well. The beds were comfy though and the rooms were pretty clean. TV was a bonus with air con!

Simple and clean rooms, but too expensive fot this area and noisy. Unfriendly staff. I got the same around the Khao San Road for 200 instead of 750 baht. But other guesthouses can't be booked by internet, so only book for one night at your arrival and then move on.

This hotel is located in a strategic area: you can find an airport bus stop right in front of it; you can enjoy the nightlife in Khaosan Road located in the right side; you just need to walk to reach the Grand Palace and other tourism areas. Also, this hotel has tourist information and money changer counters, ATM, and the Internet cafe. The food served by this hotel for free breakfast is not bad. Few things I felt uncomfortable enough when I was staying in this hotel are: no elevator, many receptionists do not speak English very well, loud music of the neighboring cafe can be heard clearly at night from my room. Noisy! One more thing, I could only watch television programs on local channels. I don't speak Thai, so I didn't understand the programs at all. Where are the English channels?

it was a reasonable stay except when we exteneded for two more nights they didn't agree to the same rate (we had to pay 1100b per night) compared to other places in BKK in other parts this is high.. by Amreican standards this was cheap! Also, on the night of Valentine's day, the hotel staff and the staff from the internet cafe were so roudy that we were woken up by the noise. Otherwise, staff was friendly, hotel rate was high because of the location (great area for shopping, food, very festive, clubs etc. etc), don't count on the breakfast at the restaurant.

We stayed at the hotel only one night and this was too much. The room was dirty, had someones hair on the floor and the sheets were dirty as well. When we asked at the front desk to clean the room they said OK but never cleaned it. We have another reserved night at this hotel but we are going to find a different place to stay although we already payed for the night and the payment is not refundable. The hotel looks nothing like the pictures!!!

The receptionists weren't really nice. They seem to have an attiude and it seemed that I actually paid more than I should. The first night I have to move to another room because the faucet in my room wouldn't work and then the next room I moved into was substantially smaller and one of the light wasn't working. Furthermore, the minibar was not checked before I moved in because they wanted to charge me for drinks that I didn't consume. Overall I m very disappointed and definitely would not recommend anyone to stay here!
