Even though the hotel is located on the Kao San Road street, it was nice and calm. The room was a bit small but for that price, it was fully satisfying and it had AC and a refrigerator.

The location is quite good, in the middle of Khansan road. And the room is clean, but air conditioner is very old and noisy. And another thing is no free wifi, only free for meal or pay 100B/day.

the booking have to pay immediately. Sometimes not convenient to tourests. And too many emails to confirm just one booking, which may make people confused to find out the most important one.

Mon séjour à Sawasdee était agréable,j ai du y être deux fois quand je suis sur Bangkok. La proximité est tres interessante vu les importantes attractions ainsi qu il est situé sur Khoason Road un meeting de nationalité (origines, music, religions, couleurs, langues....) j ai bien aimé.

rooms are clean, little bit dark, no sun light. no problem with hot water breakfast is very basic. location is near to khaosan road but the place is not noisy staff is perfect They request 500 baht deposit when entering room. This is very rude attitude of the hotel owner to their customer. Hotel owner consider every customer as a potential thief that can steal towel from their place. This attitude destroy all service that staff perform.By the way i get my 500 baht back after i check out

Is t a fine hotel, difficult to find for our cap-driver :) Easy to check-in. Clean rooms, a little small, but however, we just used it to sleep, all we needed was present. Service at the restaurant was fine.

Nice cheap hotel so close to Khaosan road that you actually feel like you sleep at the road... meaning is very noisy coz its located next to 3-4 bars that is competing about playing the loudest music. we woke up about 4-5am in the morning when somebody shouting and banging the doors trying to find the room they stay in... Nice breakfast served by some friendly ladyman. receptionist very easygoing and friendly too.

Hotel was nice and clean.But the lundry service was not able to press my shirt.And ac was only passing air not conditioning.TV also have only one enlish chennel that's why TV is a bit useless. Over all the room was quite and clean and mini bar have enough to serve for passing my time.

A good, clean and tidy hotel right in the centre of Bangkok. It was just set back from the main street which made it a quiet refuge. If i find myself going to Bangkok in the future then i would definitley stay there again. very impressed for a budget hotel.

Lady at the reception was very rude and has no consideration for customers.I have never seen anybody in the reception behave like that. The location of the hotel is on such a noisy place with loud music upto 1.30 pm and hence could not sleep. Access to the hotel is also very dirty. Overall a nightmarish stay in the hotel. The staff at the reception should be taught to be gentle towards the customers. I will never recommend this hotel to anybody.

Overall very OK for a backpacker hotel. No bugs in the room, clean sheets and a shower. A little bit noisy, but if you can't stand it, don't stay at Kao San Road. We liked it here. May stay another time. :o)

I ve stayed in better for 600THB. Over priced at 1200. We had to ask for extra sheets and pillows, sheets were old and gross and seemed damp. Overpriced. Breakfast was tiny. The pool was the only good part and that was out of order half the time. I m not fussy but would not recommend. An average hotel.

This is the tinniest room I ve EVER stayed in. You can barely walk around the bed. Very noisy and we had a light shining through to our room all night. Terrible. Great spot and cheap though OK for a night or 2 but not any longer.

The hotel rooms were clean but small. They don't have all cable channels advertised but they do have HBO. Breakfast was fine as was the staff. My only complaint was that it's a very loud hotel and it wasn't the noise from Khao San Road either. The hallways are all tile and the room doors are hollow so you could hear EVERYTHING. This made it very difficult to sleep past 7 am.

This hotel was fantastic all round. We booked in for two nights to see what it was like and decided to stay for the reminder of our time in Bangkok (five days). The staff are so friendly and efficient, the rooms/hotel is clean and comfortable, the free breakfast is really nice with a choice of pancakes/toast and fruit/bacon, sausage, egg. With free toast and tea/coffee. They serve really nice food and do room service as well as a daily housekeeper to clean the room everyday. I would highly reccomend this place!

This hotel was a bargain. Room and bathroom small but adequate , clean with good air conditioning. Position, just off Khaosan, down a small alley, is relatively quiet, but within easy reach of everything. Staff thoughtful, intelligent and well trained. My parents[in their 70 s, and used to more expensive places] loved it. Breakfast simple but all you need. Hotel restaurant ok as well. Have spent another 4 days in hotel since then, before flying home.

The area surrounding is noisy, however it does stop at 1am. The location is fantastic, right on Khaosan Rd. You do have to get to the hotel via a dingy alley but we always felt safe. The hotel is ok to stay at if you re there just for a day or two.

Great spot, great location, a little hard to find because there are several SiameServices s, be careful yr not dropped off at wrong one like I was. But the hotel and staff itself were fantastic, breakfast was ok and the price was certainly good. Mini bar is very inexpensive. Only problem is I paid $500 baht deposit for room key and I forgot about it and they didn't offer it back - so remember to ask for it. But I would definitely stay again. Khao San Road is fantastic.

I recommend this hotel if you´re looking for a cheap accomondation near Khao San Road, Bangkok. Room was clean, bed ok, no bugs. They vere doing some kind of renovation in the hotel during my visit but it should be over by now. It´s about one hour from airport, nice area to stay because many travellers ´round the world stay in that area and of course there is good night life.

It is a clean hotel in the heart of Bangkok, and totally enough, if you stay there for some days. The breakfast was good, the rooms are clean, the staff are helpfull, and if you just would like to sleep somewhere for some days, it is your hotel. Only one thing what is a bit frightful, the enviroment untill you reach the hotel, that street(backstreet) is a bit dirty, but when you reach the hotel, it is good disapointment..

Really nice hotel, basic but clean decoration, and a well stockedand reasonably priced mini bar and excellent room service selection. The Free breakfast inclusion is an excellent touch and really sets you up for the day (not a fan of the sausages though). My only criticisms are that we didnt get any towels (i m sure had we bothered to mention that it would have been corrected immediately though), and that the televisison channel selection could have been a little better. But all in all excellent calue for money, and we will be coming back next year. All of the staffw ere amazing, especially the manager, thank you for your kind gift!!

Shocking! if you are not familiar with Bangkok. I thought this place was a gem. Right on Khaosan Road but inset a bit, which helps with the noise. Staff constantly cleaning and scrubbing. As a low end budget hotel, I was scared what I might find, but pleasantly surprised. Rooms old and small but I found everything clean. It is not a 5 star resort! only a place for the night. I wouldn't stay with children anywhere near Khaosan Road! Staff friendly and very helpful. I would use again! Breakfast good!
