Bin nun das vierte, oder fünfte Mal hier gewesen. Die Lage ist perfekt. Vier Minuten zur BTS Rajtaevee. 17 Minuten zum MBK zu Fuß und knapp 20 Min. Zum Central World. Frühstück kann man aus der Karte wählen und zum Glück gibt es thailändisches Essen. Auf amerikanisches Toast und Marmelade habe ich keine Lust. Das Hotel ist ziemlich sauber, habe noch nie ein Tier im Hotelzimmer gesehen. Nicht mal die kleinen allgegenwärtigen Ameisen. Die Räume sind dem Preis angemessen und bieten alles was man braucht, auch eien Kühlschrank Das Einzige das mich stört sind die Teppiche im Zimmer. Stein/Holz wäre mir lieber. Einen Pool gibt es nicht. Touren können im Hotel gebucht werden.

The hotel was okay, breakfast was poor. Unfortunatally we forgot our jackets in our room closet when we checked out, we called two hours later - they were gone forever. That should not happen in a hotel that size, where they had security cameras on each floor. WE CAN NOT RECOMMENT THAT PLACE.

It is my 2nd stay at Samran Place. The first being when it was just recently opened and I am happy I came back. Its main selling point for me is the location. Being very close to the SkyTrain, it makes commuting very easy in Bangkok. It is also located in the Shopping district so malls and markets are just a few train stops away. This Hotel is located near the BTS station Ratchathewi one station from Siam, that's why I have choosen it, but the taxi drivers couldn't find this hotel long time. At this moment I can't advise to stay at this hotel because all windows look at reconstruction building & so it's very noisily. If you would like to stay at calm & good place I could recommend Dusit Place hotel, it's not so close to the Siam, but the prices are the same all the time - 700THB for the single & 900THB for the double.Dusit Zoo & Vimanmek Mansion Museum are very close.

i had a pleasant stay in samran place. the staff were friendly and polite and the housekeeping staff were unobtrusive and efficient. the place is also readily accessible to a market, a lot of eating places, 7-11, and the skytrain. As i like to walk a lot, i can walk to pratunam, victory monument and siam center from samran. very good location if im going to nitpick a bit though, my only complaint is that my room (505) is very close to the main road hence, the noise from the traffic and construction from an adjacent building creeps into my room. just the same, I highly recommend it for its value and good service.

Samran place is a decent budget hotel. Its closer to the BTS station and huge malls at 10-20 min walking distance. The hotel is very clean and hotel staff is friendly. This is a very comfortable and clean hotel, good staff and in a handy location for skytrain. Within walking distance of all main shopping malls at Siam. All at very good price of 1000 baht per room(inc b/fast) But I was unable to get much sleep. Very noisy........music from bar opposite, traffic very loud, esp the roaring of motorbikes. Noisy air condition, also a neighbours telly. Guess he could not sleep for the noise and decided to watch telly!! It was horrible, what a racket! I did ask to be moved to another room, but apparantley there were none available, although I do not think it would make much diffirence as I think majority of rooms would hear road and music due to lack of soundproofing. Same the second night. No sleep till after 3am. Such a shame. good, comfy hotel and good value, but no use at all if you cant get to sleep. I will definitely not return.

The hotel not bad, clean and simple. This hotel near to Asia Hotel and front of Asia Hotel is SkyTrain Station, walking distance from Samram to Asia Hotel/SkyTrain took abt 5 to 10min. For me, from Samran to Platinum Fashion mall by walking quite far, took me abt 20 to 30min walk back to the Hotel. Easy to get Taxi or Tuk-tuk by the road site. They provide breakfast to us, is included in our room charges, the room rate consider not expensive(5night - 2 twin bed + 1 extra bed = around 9100bath). Just that the receptionist in the counter, not so friendly and helpful. Is a mid-age lady (on night-shift), all the time moody face!

have been at this hotel before, but this time I prefered a superior room, very spacious, bathroom looks better and semi-new, constructions of building next door have finished so it was very quiet. They have moved the breakfast room to second floor and that is much better because it's very quiet, but they should improve on brekfast choise and quantity. Walking distance to all shoppings and sky train too. Have stayed there three times, will stay again of course, in superior room for sure - room number 712 is very very very big!!

The rooms were clean, service great and the location of the hotel is excellent for getting around. Some people in the past commented about the breakfast. I thought it is fine. This is our third stay at Samran Place.The smoke free rooms are very clean and comfortable at a low cost tariff that includes a good variety set breakfast menu. It also has a great dinner,lunch and snack menu. Enjoyed their deserts and fruit drinks It is next door to a low cost massage shop after a long day shopping. No free wifi but includes a pay wifi in reception or there is a good value wifi walking distance on corner. It is not in a fancy area but there are outside Thai barbecues every night along the street which is filled with locals eating fresh foods. It is also well positioned as it is walking distance to the Rajchathewi skyrail station.

Hotel location was ideal. There are stalls selling food along the way to BTS. Day time hotel staff was more helpful. Parts of hotel were still under minor renovations (paint work mostly). Building next to hotel was under major renovation/ construction. Was unable to sleep in beyond 9 am on one of the mornings. Hotel breakfast was good though not buffet styled.

Hotel was fuss-free and simple.. Was a little worried when faced with a gloomy corridor but room turned out much better than expected. With the price we paid, it was great to know that breakfast was included, although there were only 6 choices that are pretty similar. The proximity to a BTS station as well as city also add value to the stay here.. Overall, a fantastic experience for all 4 of us and we certainly look forward to staying there again and recommending it to our friends.

Small hotel. Very friendly service - the sort of place where receptionists and restaurant staff remember your name and what you like for breakfast etc! Room (Deluxe) was basic but large and clean. However it was very noisy at night. The disco opposite the front of the hotel pumps out loud music until about 3 am, the traffic on the road never stops - and there are many very loud tuk tuks late at night. The air con in teh room is very cold - even though tehre is a thermostat in the room - it doesn't seem to work. We had to request a second blanket. Breakfast was a la carte rather than buffet, but was OK. The hotel in reasonable walking distance of Skytrain, as well as shopping areas such as Platinum, Pantip Plaza, MBK, Siam Centre, Siam Paragon etc. Despite the service I doubt we will go back again. I think I will pay a bit more for a quieter room elsewhere.

Hotel is v.near to MBK, just 2 stop away by BTS cost 20 bath/pax. But if u prefer to walk, it will take about 15 mins. Near to local market and 7/11. Breakfast is great as it has variety of food to choose from Asian to American simple breakfast and F&B staffs are polite. Reception is helpful when check in&out. The only bother me is only the free glass bottled water which taste a bit funny. U should ask for a plastic bottled water is really fine. Room is big enough for 2 persons with bathtub in it and most important CLEAN ROOM & BATHROOM. Nice..... Overall, I would be back in the future. (-) sometimes Housekeeping staff forget to give us the small towel and to knock the door when entering the room. Perhaps consider a doorbell infront of room ? one-two hole in bedsheet. I think the housekeeping dept. in the hotel should do an improvement.

A good place to stay though not a big hotel. The room is extremely clean, you can even have bath tub!!!This was suprised me when reached that hotel. In my experience, you cant even find a bath tub in a budget hotel!But Samran Place is really different! A very convenient walking distance to many place such as MBK, Siam Discovery, Pratunam Market, Panthip Plaza, Pratunam Plaza, Platinum plaza, Big C, Isetan, etc. You can easily find a stall there to enjoy either your lunch or dinner and they are very professional in service and the cleaniness is good.Just 1 bad thing is the hotel only start to serve the bfast at 630am. I had booked a tour to Floating market even from the lobby of the hotel but they refuse to prepare set breakfast for me but only sandwich.I think they should be more flexible on this. But in general, this hotel is worth to stay!

I visited this hotel already two years ago and anythings have changed. Staff is not every people friendly now, especially at the reception is a woman not just friendly+helpful. Beside the hotel they build a new house 7 meters in front of your room and so it is dark and noisy at time. Breakfast is not unforgetable great but okay. The street in front of the hotel is high frequented all time. But the location is good and public-traffic (bus and sky-train) is very closed. All in all it is a hotel a bit cheaper than any others and acceptable if you can accept any disadvantages.

The hotel service is good and the staff are very helpful. The bed can be cleaner though. The bedsheet & pillow case are a bit dirty and worn out.

My room was very comfortable and quiet even though the hotel is on a major road. The hotel is well located for travel around Bangkok. The staff were very helpful and I will stay at Samran Place again.

stayed for 3 nights room was quite clean and in walkable distance to shopping areas. Breakfast was reasonable. Value for money the hotel is excellent.

Dear Sir although we stayed just the 1 night in your hotel my wife & I have absolute praise for not only the hotel & room but the staff must get special mention for their helpful manner in everything they were so willing & nothing was any trouble.The breakfast was great plus the real bonus was the location to the markets sky train buses & Platinum Plaza we will be staying there whenever we come back to Bangkok we have also recommended Samran Place to our friends who will be travelling to Thailand later this year.So for anyone reading this we both fully endorse & recommend the Samran Place Hotel as far as value for money goes it is very very good value indeed thank you all again for an excellent stay.Dallas&Jenny Joseph QLD Australia.

I like the small family-like setup. The people are friendly and yet efficient. The rooms are clean without being extravagrant. The only thing I would recommend is to have wireless internet service available. I would gladly pay for the service. We have enjoyed our stay very much.

Samran place is a great hotel. Good service, clean, attentive and patient staffs.Though my room is right opposite the construction work, i can hardly hear any noise from there. The breakfast sets are nice, but it is a little small in portion. Location wise, about 5-10 minutes to nearest BTS station. Can find food almost anywhere around the hotel. I found quite a nice and cheap seafood restaurant nearby. From the hotel with your back facing the hotel, walk right til you see a nice little restaurant called Ratchatewi Seafood . Its quite closed to the BTS station. But it only opens during night time. All in all, good value for a good hotel.

Good, fast, and attentive. Although there are little misunderstanding in my booking, all the problems were solved without hassle. Efficient!

Nice & Clean. Location pretty good about 5 min walk to the BTS and between 10-15 min to popular shopping centres like MBK & Platinum wholesale mall & IT Mall . Staff were friendly and very helpful at most times.

I find the hotel location is very accessible only few minutes walk to BTS which is one stop to Siam Centre (or 15mins walk but it's rather unpleasant lots of cars and black smokes!)short taxi ride to Platinum under 60THB if you re rely on BTS train I suggest to get the refill ticket so you don't have to line up at peak hrs. The hotel is clean and with very helpful staffs at this very low cost right in the city very suitable for people who only stay in hotel to sleep and love to explore. Breakfast were basic so don't expect much. Beware of some tuk tuk waiting to get you on board outside hotel it's better to ask hotel staff for taxi or which direction to hail it from cos some taxi would take you on a very long u-turn!and when get taxi back tell them the hotel is on Petchburi rd corner off Rachatewi BTS.

despite the fact that the front desk staff do not speak Enlgish it was a good place to stay...close to the skytrain and public transportation. THe breakfast was very plain and not too many choices...but the location made up for that .

Extremely disappointed. Read so many good reviews about Samran Place, that while I was there, thought I was not in the same place. Requested double room,with two beds,non-smoking. Got one double bed, hard as a rock, and reeking of smoke, and a stopped toilet. Booked for 8 nights. Lucky for us, we traveled and used hotel as base. Asked for and got a double with two beds. Toilet stopped, and room not cleaned the next day. Came back late at night, and not even toilet paper. Must not been the same hotel everyone raves about. Close to skytrain, a big plus. Would never book this hotel again. Remember all, this is but my humble opinion, your experience may be totally satisfying. Also while using the internet in the lobby a young couple reported theft of a bracelet from their room. Front desk staff as efficient as they CAN be. They must do something about the rest of the staff. IMHO only. Happy traveling.

I choose this place after reading the review from others on the hotel. In fact, it was a good place and good choice in Bangkok. Very convenient and clean rooms. The only complaint I have was towards the tour service provided at the lobby. I made local tour booking at the counter and since the tour started at 6.30am, the lady promise me coffee and tea from the bar but a take away sandwhich instead of having it there. We agreed but on the day of the tour, we arrived at the bar at 6.00am and we are not allowed to have our coffee. Can you imagine, I was travelling with 4 old folks and 2 kids who need breakfast but they refuse to serve coffee as promise. We enquired their front desk but their front desk and captain of the bar doesn't seems helpful. They claimed that they have nothing to do with the tour service counter located just right in front of them. Is not the value of the coffee but is the service that matters. Furthermore, we are asked to wait no later than 6.20 at the lobby and the van only arrive to pick us up at 7.30am. 1 hour waiting for nothing. I seriously not happy with the service provided by that lady from the time I made my booking but unfortunately I am suprise that they actually serve European and Western customer 10 times better.

I had a luxury suite and I still wasn't expecting much, given the cheap price. Well, it was beautiful, and huge, much bigger than I was expecting. Flat screen tv, nice ensuite, large wardrobes, and a nice lounge area. If I have one criticism, the housekeeping staff seem to do a pretty quick job of cleaning the room. I stayed there four days and never got replacement soap or shampoo, and the bed was pretty shabbily made. But, all in all, I will definitely be going back.
