Id recommend, Nana retirement hotel, to single guys looking for a good time in Bangkok. The room was large, clean and everything worked. The buffet breakfast was good also.It's located at the top of Nana Soi 4,off Sukhumvit Road, directly opposite Nana Plaza.It's a 5 minute walk from Phloen Chit or Nana skytrain station so you can quickly escape the sleazey go-go's and bar beers if it's not your thing, but if it is your thing you ve just found paradise.

Nana hotel is Nana hotel. I like the hotel and I was happy to see that they now have safety boxes in the room in addition to the robust safe at the reception which I always recommend to use. Breakfast is nothing special but not a big deal since i always miss it anyway. Note, Nana is not a hotel for families with kids, more of a party place due to its location opposite NANA entertainment but i love it, Best ,Carl

I stayed at the Nana Hotel for 3 nights, in a Standard Room on the 7th floor, in August, 2011. The room had a large (king-sized) bed, with a bathroom with a shower/tub combination, an in-room safe, a medium-sized refrigerator, and two 63 ml complimentary bottles of water provided, daily. It was my second stay at the hotel, and I will certainly stay there again. The room was clean, and a good value for the money. The a/c worked very well - I had to even turn it down. The hotel has a 24 hour coffee shop/restaurant with quite an extensive menu. My booking included the buffet breakfast, which had a good selection of items. Also, there is a medium-sized pool, with a jacuzzi. If you want to be right in the middle of the entertainment district (the hotel is just across from the Nana Entertainment Plaza), the hotel is in a good location. Many other bars, nightclubs, and discos (including Soi Cowboy) are within walking distance from the hotel.

I like the Nana: central to the vivid areas of town, never boring, with an atmosphere of its own. Maybe a little expensive nowadays with so much competition coming up in the immediate vicinity. Still, good place.

This hotel is in the red light districk of Bangkok. If that bothers you then I suggest you don't stay here. It is central to most places in Bangkok and tthe BTS is within a few metres of the hotel. Breakfast is nice but most items were cold when eating them.

It is a definitely a budget hotel but for a short stay not too bad. The breakfast is included and it was good, the restaurant looks much better than the rest of the hotel. Rooms are a bit worn but everything worked ok. Try to get upper floor so not looking into a wall couple feet from your window. Location and a price is what makes this hotel popular I guess.

I have stayed here quite a few times over the previous years. I am a single traveler and find the famous (imfamous) Nana a great place to stay. It is right in the heart of the bar scene and is very guest friendly . The girls even hang around the car park waiting for customers. The rooms are getting very scruffy now though. It really could do with some renovation. Breakfast was great as always. Sadly this time the first room I was given had cockroaches and large ants. They changed the room without any problems. Good value for money if you aren't looking anything too fancy!

Prompt and excellent as always. Not having to pay until after the booking is confirmed is also a nice feature. I had to cancel a room recently and the cancellation process was also efficient, although I did have to pay 500 baht cancellation fee. Other booking sites dont require this

Now it has the safe deposit box inside the room make less hassle to protect your valuables. However, we need to watch out for small crawling inside moving around. Need maintenance of cleanliness in rooms. Nana Entertainment is just on the opposite side of the road. No problem in bringing in girl friend as they will have to register with the security guard at the lift level ground floor.

The Nana hotel is terrific value. I paid 1450 baht for a room with a double bed, bath and a good breakfast. The room needs decorating, but is clean and free of bugs. I have stayed there before so know that it is in the heart of the Nana sex district and am not put off by the girls selling sex just outside the hotel and even in the car park. In fact for many people who stay in the Nana, the closeness of the sex district is one of the reasons they stay there. I dont think this is a place for familes.

floor of bathroom never cleaned, room had fullcarpets, not hygienic. staff shoulod help peoople when they have problems, and not laugh with them,later they told housekeeping to do it.(i am diabetic and needed sugar or cola and thought that i was drunk-) swiiming poool very good with warm water, breakfast buffet could have more variety (like cheese and more fruits)but was ok. we will go back next year, but maybe take better room- now standard room.

Where do I start?...(1)the front counter staff are plastic and couldn't care less about the client (2) the rooms are large but very, very sub-standard (3) the advertised WiFi in every room is a blatant rip-off (4) the hotel bar is haunted by the world's oldest and most annoying hookers on the planet (5) the hotel pool is very refreshing provided you only like the sun between 11am and 2pm (6) the hotel is very conveniently located for shopping in Bangkok. I have stayed at this hotel for the past 8 years and it has not improved in the tiniest in all that time...I have now had enough of their money gouging poor business practices and will never return.

Unfriendly check-in, the woman seemed to dislike me? but the double room was as I had requested. It was clean and quite acceptable. I have stayed here many times before and this time had a room on the 10th floor over the extractor fans below - so a bit noisy. The breakfast was adequate - lots of Western food, ie: bacon, eggs etc.. and some fruit. The Nana is very good value, but beware as its amongst one of the most famous sex trade districts in Bangkok - Nana Plaza. So there are working girls in the car park and entering the hotel morning, noon and night! For me this is a welcome feature , but it may not be too everyones taste!

I was woried about some reviews about the rude staff but when I came it was fine and they were helpfull... there are a few with serious faces and attitude but shouldn't be an obsticale. Views from your room window can range from excellent to none whatsoever( I have experienced both at numerous stays.) You do experience a discount by using booking service. The room itself is nice and the location is unbeatable - plenty of opportunity to create a nice view inside your room. This hotel is well-run, guest-friendly with id card. Nice restaurant and good breakfast served until 10 a.m. If you want a room you should make a booking as it often will be fully booked.

I have stayed at the Nana hotel on many occasion, but this was the worst experience that I have had here! Not having a double bed for my wife and I was inconvenient, but could live with it! One reception lady was so rude, that I almost lost my cool, kept calm due to my wifes influence! The room was tatty to say the least! Outside was a nice view of soi 4, not bad apart from the building site immediately below our window! From 0700h to 1800h, banging, thumping, crashing and grinding noise was to be heard, not too good whilst trying to sleep off the evening before! The kids were roomed next door! They were happy, and did not notice the noise, probably due to their PS2 going night and day! Heaps of praise to the lifeguards and the room service guys, my 9yr old was looked after in the pool area, almost as if she was related to them! Bravo to theose guys! Restaurant staff, quality, as usual! The main gripe was that rude reception lady, when I suggested that I may leave a bad review, her response was that it was up to me, and I could do what i want, she is not bothered! If you stay here, insist on a room overlooking Sukhumvit, the sound of the BTS is more relaxing!!

The standard room is for one person sufficient, but two may be a little bit cramped. While the restaurant and cleaner staff was very friendly, the desk staff is mixed. Particularely on older lady is sometimes outright rude - very rare in LOS. When I arrived at 8am, I was told that I can either have a room in the 2nd story (I ordered 6th above) or wait until 2pm (I asked for early check in) I insisted on my order and got my room on the 6th floor at 9am. So sometimes you need patience. I can't complain about noise, except the occasional guest having a conversation with their girlfriends in the aisle instead of their rooms, but I m always traelling with ear plugs anyway. The breakfast is mhh, how do I put it politely? I went after the first day to the Landmark hotel and had my breakfast there on the terrasse. Altogether, if you don't expect 5 * you wont be disappointed. Don't go with your asian wife or fiance they wont feel comfortable passing the parking lot at night... But after all, you get what you pay for.

Stayed three nights, too long. Booked pool view room with double bed. Got a room overlooking a building site that started work at 6.00am. Two single beds. When reception was informed they stated that I could change rooms tomorrow Didn't bother. Room was in need of some renovations, tiles falling off, noisy air con etc. Will not stay there again but will also not stay in Bangkok again. (what a shithole) Love Thailand but give me Phuket or Pattaya anytime.

Located ideally for adult night life. Dated rooms, but clean and large enough for a party. Staff was very nice. Security after dark was not an issue. Large safe in room as well. JW Marriot is next door and 4-5 times the $$ so this is a better deal IMHO. The Golden Bar downstairs is a great place to people watch. Will stay again in the future.

Large rooms, massive bed. asked for non smoking but room was a smoking room and the smell was quite a distraction. A few of the desk staff where rather stand offish, this is the first time i have noticed what appears a certain amount of disrespect for the customers at a hotel in thailand. i witnessed one incident where one member of the desk staff was very rude to a customer. That said, i was unfortunate enough to have to be admitted to hospital and once contacted, the staff at nana held open my room until i was released from hospital with no fuss. Hotel is ideal location for the best nightlife areas of bangkok ie nana plaza, soi cowboy and early sukhumvit soi s. If you want a boutique hotel in a quiet relaxing enviroment then Nana hotel is NOT the place to book, if you want to be in the centre of it all Book it.

we stayed there for three nights. very helpful staff, nice rooms, very clean. nana hotel is at sukhumvit road were life starts at 9 pm with nana night market. nice shopping opinions near the hotel. just 3 mimutes walk from skytrain station, which is very important to get around in bangkok. in hotel you cn change money, change traveller cheques. even little shops are in the hotel. i would stay there again!!!

Hotel halls look old and musty. Room was satifactory. Tv channels good. Breakfast buffet good. Overall things were fine as long as you do not hang out in the hallways. Very convenient to bts, subway, and nightlife. Good for a budget traveler.

Quite OK for the price,clean and well-situated next to the skytrain. I cannot share the negative comments about the prostitution scene around as these girls are not aggressively offering themselves. So everyone can just pass them as any other people who stand around. The breakfast personal was very friendly, the reception clerks usually look a bit sullen (in contrast to other Thai people) but are helpful nevertheless.

The hotel is a bit worn, but still good value for the money. The location is very good, with the BTS Nana close, only 5 minutes to walk. The staff are also very helpful and friendly. The only thing I missed was wireless internet access in the room, and a fitness area. breakfast was quite standard. The coffeshop is open 24 hours, which is fine if you want to have a late meal. All in all the hotel is worth a visit.

Despite the fact that the hotel is very old, the people try their best to keep it clean. My room was very spacious and kept clean by the cleaning staff. Good cable TV program. I highy recommend this hotel to the average traveler. I would like to see them fix their AC. My AC keet me awake all night.

I enjoyed my stay at Nana Hotel, The staff were very courteous despite the fact that they were too busy beyond comprehension. Furthermore, they can go out of their way to help. They were friendly. the only problem I had was that a car was supposed to pick me up but never turned up. The cleaning staff did their best to keep the room clean. I will not choose anaother. I highly recommend this Nana to the average traveler.

Hotel a great value for the money. Has everything you need and the location is exceptional. Staff is a little aloof, but very competent. Rooms are clean and cleaning staff is A-1 rated. 25 steps from door to Nana Plaza Entertainment Center. Fantastic for mongers.

What can i say, staying at this hotel was definitely and experiance. The hotel itself is not very clean. The room had no view and had a stale smell to it. Big bed. Its basically a sex hotel. Because of the location, right opposite Nana Plaza where all the go-go bars are. Good disco in the hotel but full of working girls. Staff not very polite and misrable. Breakfast was crap. I wouldnt stay here again, but depends on what your looking for..if you know what i mean

Well, this hotel is a kind of meeting point of easy girls with old rich people. I was impressed about the way people was behaving. Luckily I was alone; but certainly I would never go with my girl friend. But I certainly recommend it for singles, looking for easy company...It's also located in the right spot of Bangkok! Very central but not a place for family with children. A lot of prostitues in and around the hotel. Old gentlemen and very young girls and business going on. The rooms are a bit shabby and we had no view from our window. ( Woman 50 year with one son 12 year )

I was surprised that such an inexpensive hotel was so well-run and pleasant. Location near skytrain is perfect for me. Breakfast was ample and included normal western-style food which i prefer in the a.m. Hot and cold running hookers were evident in hotel, in parking lot and nearby establishments, i definitely WOULD NOT recommend this hotel for a family or couple and there weren't many in evidence. They held my reservation for later in trip without problem. Pool is great early in day but no sun in mid-late afternoon.

Great Hotel, great location, and using SiameServices.com print out payment receipt's checking in was a snap, with a very friendly hotel staff. Standard room, good TV, great housekeeping staff. The walls are not so sound proof, the only negative I have to report. Great world class pool on the third floor with great Jacuzzi. All Nana hotel staff were great ambassadors for their country. Hotel Taxi driver TI #12 was a great Taxi driver. Dollar for dollar I give the place a ten. Yes, you can pay a lot more and stay around the corner in the Marriot, but my preferences is for the Nana. Great breakfast and lunch buffet. Enjoy your stay. I am 55 yrs old and single.

The rooms in the hotel are pretty run down. The air conditioner in my room leaked into my closet and onto the floor. The hotel did change my room. My room had a great view of a concrete wall which was not what I expected. I will not preferentially book this hotel in the future.
