A very pretty hotel with great staff and good rooms and food. They cleaned the room every day with fresh towels and the breakfasts were really good. The rate was very reasonable for the quality of the hotel. My only problem with it was the location. It wasnt near any of the central tourist spots so we spent quite a bit on taxis, tuk tuks and metro rail. Saying that though, the area was not bad that it was in just not near anything we wanted to see. It is right near a local train station and has night markets right round the corner. Overall I was very pleased with it.

I impressed with the quality of the room. Also made assumptions considering I saw it being built or rebuilt from being an apartment building originally. I did not expect too much and was surprised by what was there. Room was good sized and clean and neat and there is enough space to handle a weeks worth of clothes. The bathroom was very good sized and well maintained. The breakfast buffet was good, one of the better ones I have experienced. The location is okay. 5-7 minute walk to the Subway which I knew. I have stayed at the other 2 hotels along the soi and knew that Hip Hotel was the farthest from Ratchadapisek. haha It is close to the Huay Khwang night market and other night entertainment. I would stay again.

everything was good but the room 703 and 704 was kind of lousy, the toilet bowl cannot be flush, the plug in the room seem to be like falling off, there wasn't any tissue box in the room, shower shoe only given on the last night of our staying, it seem like the hotel is out of hand towel and the breakfast only seem to be the same everyday. i m quite disappointed on this trip as i was my honeymoon and i m with my parent and it given them such a poor facilities.

Very pleased with this hotel, It's very clean, modern, feels new , full array of toiletries provided and I got a free upgrade to a king size bed and large sized bath and rain showerhead. Staff is very friendly and helpful. I would stay at this hotel again when I return to Bangkok. Only downsides is the location in Ratchada if you are a very touristy/sightseeing type, however it is a short 4-5 minute walk away from the Hwai Kwang MRT.

Had a Cool Studio Rm (No 901). Very spacious, clean, new room with modern decor. Good lighting & air-con. Nice new bright & spacious bathroom & shower with all amenities. Girls in reception were very friendly & helpful, good selection at breakfast with attentive service. Htl opened July 2008. 5 minutes walk to the MRT (train) station, & 8-mins walk to Robinson, Carrefour in the other direction. Try Sambhoon Seafood Restaurant on the main rd just beside the Huay Kwang MRT entrance- excellent & reknown in BKK but accepts cash only. Abt 8 minutes by train to the touristy Sukhumvit area.

Very Hip and Jazzy but fell short of being good. Staff were exceptionally good and helpful. Breakfast had a very limited choice (compared with the 7 previous hotels) and juices were watery cordial not real juices. The bathroom showers were not great and the hotel floors were very noisy with doors slamming all night long. I had to complain around 4 am on more than one occasion of the noise coming from a party next door. With work on its noise problems and a much better breakfast this hotel could be very good. It has the great staff already there.

If you speak thai this is the perfect place. It's very hard to communicate with the ladies that do the check-in,as they don't speak (or really badly) english (the boys who take your bags speak better then them) They say it's a 4star hotel, but it didn't same like it. The pickup from the airport where we asked for didn't show up, so we were waiting for nothing... They say it's the fault of siameservices, but in the 3weeks before we didn't have this problem. And because it's a new hotel, in a street that nobody knows, the taxidrivers will drive around for hours if you don't take instructions in Thai with you. We stayed in a room at the 6th floor and good still hear the daily music from the bar that is on the ground floor. There were also people chauting every night in the hallway (but maybe that was just bad luck) But I have to say that the hotel indeed is really hip and beautifull! (but 4stars, no!)
