I have stayed in this hotel before in October and would say that overall the level of guest care has deteriated from that last stay. I would particularly highlight the breakfast restaurant where the staff were surly lazy and unhelpfull. This discouraged me from even trying any of the other food and beverage outlets in the Hotel. There is renovation work going on in the Hotel at the moment which is much more disruptive than it need be due to poor administration of the contractors by the Hotel management, I will not be staying here whilst this work is in progress. this work has also shut off the primary emergency escape route from the Hotel for those that look at these things.

BED BUGS! I have stayed at this hotel (as the Trinity Hotel and now Rooms@Silom) about 6 times over the past 3 years and have enjoyed each stay. In November 2008 however I was bitten by BED BUGS (42 bites requiring treatment with antibiotics and anhtihistamine). I was given a room upgrade and 1 nights refund. After letter and email exchange with the Hotel management, reassuring me the problem had been rectified I decided to stay again in March 2009. Guess what - BED BUGS. I presented two BED BUGS that I found in my bed to the Manager and while appologetic AGAIN I gather that they have done nothing to rectify the problem. This time only about 20 bites but treatmet required again. I will not stay in Rooms@ Silom again.

Stayed there last year no problem at all. I ordered a triple room this time because previous travel arrangements ask for it.(6month old and Grandma)When arriving no provisions where made to accomandate Grandma in a seperate bed. It took quite some arguments to make things happen. Night shift unfriendly and not coperative,you don't need that after a 20hr flight/day.Renovations in full swing not very inviting facilities.Only positive : good breakfast but that's it. After being ripped off by a speedy taximeter trip from the airport not a good start at all, no wonder lots of tourist go elsewhere.

Very nice hotel. Large room, clean, bath. Location is superb: on walking distance of skytrain and PatPong. Busy street with lots of little shops and vendors of food and stuff. Nice swimming pool and playground for children in adjacent Trinity complex. Next time we go to Bangkok, this hotel would be my first choice.

I strongly do not recommend using this hotel. The rooms are dirty, smells very musky, and infested with cockroaches. Beds are also infested with bed bugs. Pillows have cockroach eggs.

Second time we stayed in this hotel, and no special comments, except that the rooms need also an urgent renovation. Works were going on in the lobby, but this did not cause any disturbance to ourselves as we stayed in an executive suite on the 6th floor. Hope that after the lobby works they start renovating the rooms. If not, we might be looking for another hotel when back in Thailand mid next year.

Well I have been staying at Trinity Hotel for the past 6 years coming and going out of Thailand . It was conveniently located off Silom Road and the Skyway and offered the best pool in Bangkok IMO . But seems like they are always changing the lobby around . I was warned by siameservices.com of the construction and they offered me to change hotels but since i was just staying 2 nights I decided not to change . Also the breakfast buffet has gone from horrible to wonderful but now just average again . I m not sure how often the staff has changed but if it is any indication by how often they change the lobby i understand why. Also the rooms could use a facelift , nice lobby but come on guys keep up with the times in the furnishings . Bottom line for 1300 or 1400 baht you get what you pay for .

Very annoyed with the way the hotel handled construction work that was being done. I was placed in a room DIRECTLY above the work that would start at 9am and continue to 6 or 7pm. To me this showed a total disregard of their guests and I doubt I will stya at the hotel again. the location and price are good, but i value not hearing jack hammering and the banging of sledge hammers over this. i would also say the front desk staff are not as good as my last stay 18 months ago. Is it too much to get out of your chair to accept the key from me, rather than make me lean across the desk to hand it to you?

Room@Silom Hotel rate is at a good price since it includes access to a fitness center with an Olympic size pool and the stay includes breakfast. It is not located on a main street but hidden down a couple sois. To get to anything, you must take the skytrain which is only a 7 minute walk. The hotel rooms haven't been updated since it was built; thus a bit outdated.

We, my husband and our two children 9 and 11yrs, stayed for 5 nights at the Room@Silom. We had the executive suite and it was great. The bed is huge, a bit hard, and the roll-away-bed worked perfect. The room was very clean and spacious. There was plenty to choose for breakfast. The freshly cooked omelettes were really nice. There wasn't too much choice for european food, but hey, when you are in Bangkok you are expected to have that! Everyday we used the swimming pool across the road, that was very easy. The pool is a huge lap pool with diving boards - kids loved it! And the adults too for some proper swimming. This is not a resort, but still a perfect place to stay in the city. Very central and only about 5 minutes walk to the nearest Skytrain station. Nightmarket and shops and another Skytrain not very far. We would quite happily go back and stay there again.

One of the best things about this hotel was its location so close to Chong Nonsi BTS Skytrain. It's only about a short 100 metre walk. If you re relatively mobile, the sky train is the quickest way to get around. The next best thing is probably the decent buffet breakfast and helpful staff. No complaints about the room itself even though it was a bit dated, maintaing its 80s charm.

On positive side, the location was great with walking distance to cong nonsi BTS station and silom night market. The breakfast was not too bad. The price was a bargain. However, the room was old and we stayed in 2nd floor and the room faced compressor. There was no view and bit noisy. The mattress was hard and hotel gave us two single bed combined into twin bed despite our request. There was a crack in the toilet ceiling. Recommended if you are going to be out the whole day and only use the room to sleep.

We are very satisfied with the convenient location of the hotel. Chong Nonsi BTS is just round the corner and the shopping areas are within walking distance, yet it is diverged from all the noise and the traffic and the bustle. The flight of steps leading up to the reception may deter senior or incapacitated guests from staying though. It would also be helpful if there are more conspicuous sign boards directing the guests to the hotel.

I was check in really late and the reception seem not so friendly, maybe he is sleepy. I was given twin bed room on the first nite instead of double bed room. Quite a big room for deluxe but the room need some refurbishment as been done to Foodie Cafe. What a nice interior and fittings for this cafe compare to the hotel lobby. There is also a nice Japanese Restaurant in this hotel. No safety box in the room, which most of travellers required. Located very near to Chong Nongsi Station i.e about 200 meter but you'll feel bit secluded during night to walk from BTS station to this hotel. But it is safe. Breakfast, no comment since i m only take bread and butter :-). Worth to stay here with rate offer by siameservices

Great location, near Lumpini Stadium, Queen S. Snake Farm, Patpong, a good night Bazaar and Skytrain as well as subway lines easy to get to. Hotel entrance can be a bit hard to find at night, but not too much of a problem. Hotel staff is friendly, but not well trained or knowledgeable. They would help if they could. Don't use the travel agent next to check in desk. She is not very helpful and does not have a customer friendly attitude. Decent breakfast included for the price. An overall good value if you do not need assistance from the staff.

Great Location Sky train only 2 mins walk away. Pool ok and The Foodie serves good food. Trinity mall next door great for glasses about £50 inc lenses. The rooms are clean but don't expect too much they are a little shabby. Staff ok. Its location near to the skytrain makes this hotel a winner. Its ok for families we have a 7 year old and she had great fun. This hotel is not for the those who like 5* comfort

As with when we stayed here last year I cannot fault the hotel or the staff. Good clean rooms for the price and the staff always friendly and willing to help. Great location, close to transport but far enough away from the main road so that there are no problems with traffic noise.THere is also a great fitness park, Lumpini Park, at the top end of Silom Road.Would recommend to anyone.Will stay there again when next in Bangkok.

Room @ Silom was great. The hotel is very well located - 1 min walk to Chong Nongsi BTS station. The rooms were clean and comfortable and great value for the great price I paid. Would recommend it to anyone who wants a decent hotel at a good price.

This was our first visit in Bangkok and we booked this hotel after reading other peoples reviews. We stayed at this hotel 3 times, in total 6 nights during our holiday in Thailand and we liked it very much. Nice room, good service and breakfast buffé. Close to skytrain and good shopping. Nice with the pool on the roof. Next year we will be back!

It is in a good location and quiet from Silom Road but you have to walk from Soi 3 from Silom Road, turn right before the road curves to the left and see some more signs and turn right again. Letting the taxi driver talk to the hotel staff directly is better and come from Soi 3. There is a market near the hotel which you wouldn't expect but convenient. There are two 7-11 stores as you turn right from the hotel and take a fork road. I bought a sim card and a calling card for my mobile phone for the first time in Thailand but don't expect the clerk at 7-11 to really understand English. The location is good and it is near Thaniya Plaza and Thaniya Road where there are a lot of expensive Japanese bars, Patpong I and II shows but beware of hidden charges upstairs because the bill can be much larger than you expect or have been told. It is 1400 Baht per night and the hallway on the third floor has a funny smell. Breakfast is good and the staff is friendly and helpful. The third floor fire excape door is locked during the night but opened during the day. I have told the staff but they do not respond. The hotel names have changed and they provide some confusion because the old name of Trinity still appears here and there and even at the front entrance and on some documents. The room is OK. I did not get a chance to use the fitness center in the next building and I cannot tell you about it. It is near two Sky Train stations. It is OK for a short stay.

Great location. Located in the heart on Bangkok, near to all the major shopping malls, embassies, as well as several night Bazaars including Patpong and just a 5 minute walk to the nearest BTS station. Clean rooms in decent condition (although nothing fancy), mediocre breakfast, friendly staff, and inexpensive. Also, the executive rooms are the best.

Even though its in the back streets I enjoyed my stay at this Hotel The staff were friendly and helpful the hotel is clean and cool.Breakfast is good and the roof top pool was a real haven from the hot streets. As my room looked out onto a blank wall there was no view and so my room was rather dark in the day time but I wasn't in their much inthe day so not really a problem. Itys only a short walk to the Sky Train station so the location is good for exploring Bangkok, and thers plenty of good street eats nearby too!. I would not hesitate to use this hotel again.

Pleasant stay at the hotel. Hotel staff went out of the way to help us with a change of booking with siameservices.com! Great service! Rooms were simple but functional and clean. Rates offered by siameservices.com were very reasonable. The breakfast that was included was also good. Location was good as it was near the city train and city centre. A great experience in all!!

Very nice,clean and simple hotel, good break fast, and friendly staffs. What i like the most is the location, which is so convenient, just walking distance to bustling Silom. And there are 2 BTS, Sala daeng and Chong non Si.

I highly recommend this hotel if you are looking for somewhere that is clean, comfortable with a fairly decent sized room - this place is excellent value for money. A triple room cost us about £30 approx ($NZD 83). The absolute bonus for us was the use of the large swimming pool complex just across the alleyway - my girls and I checked out of room at 12pm and stayed at teh pool all day until our flight at midnight that night. We were able to have a shower at the swimming pool complex. Be aware though that they provide you with one towel each and no extra one for having a shower - so we had to dry ourselves with our clothes!! We were able to store our cases at Silom Hotel while we were at the pool. We also had complimentary breakfast in the hotel which my kids thought was fantastic and they were in seventh heaven - there was a great selection and no flies on the food when we were there! Some of the food was a little cold, but once again - I think you get what you pay for and it was still fantastic value for money. Our air con worked well, room seemed clean enough. We had dinner in the hotel cafe, which again was great value for money - Spag Bog 1000Baht ($4 NZD) and Chicken and chilli and basil with rice was the same price. Portions were small but adequate. Soda water 25 baht ($1 NZD) Downsidee: Shower in bathroom faces out not down, so bathroom did get a bit wet, and secondly lighting in room was pretty poor. I stayed here with my two girls aged 10 and 7 just for one night stopover and would definitely stay there again. Staff were not unfriendly - we seemed to be treated well. Taxi from hotel: be aware! Even though we had agreed on 450Baht I paid taxi driver with 1000 baht note. He gave me back lots of change, so I did not have time to count it before he was gone. I counted the money and he had only given us 300baht in change, when we should have received 550baht change. So - I rang taxi company and complained. He promplty returned to our hotel with profuse apology and the 250 baht extra he took. I told him he could give us 150 baht but still he gave us the full amount back. The moral of the story - have the correct taxi fare so you do not have the problem of being ripped off with the change they give you back.

Good location,200 m to Skytrain. The interior is a bit old but still OK a nice restaurant on the ground floor. We tried rooms on booth 3:rd,5:th and 6:th floor,the 5:th floor was the best. I can recommend a stay if you don´t need a new,hip hotel.

Only stayed 36 hours, but overall a good place to stay. Upgraded both rooms on arrival - thanks very much!! -don't know why, but not complaining!! Had our 17 year old lad with us, the girls on reception seem to like young brits!! Walking distance to Patpong markets etc. Taxis available outside too. Make sure taxi driver knows exactly where hotel is, it is a bit of a back street, but easy when you know.

The hotel is a little bit difficult to find but after all we found the location perfect. The staff was friendly and the rooms OK. No smoking in the room was however NOT was we asked but we could live with that small problem.

Mycket prisvärdt hotell som ligger mycket gra till för att ta BTS:en, ca 200m.Rummen var rena och bra städade. Frukosten var helt ok med mycket att välja på. Tillgång till mycket bra pool(gratis) på grann huset och bra trännings anläggning och spa.

Gjorde bokning via nätet och det fungerade bra. Servicen på hotellet var bra.

The hotel is good, most importantly clean. Don't expect too much for the price, it's basic, but it is peaceful and located closer to the sky train station. Front desk staff were very nice and helpful.

Was a bit hard in getting a hotel confirmation due to last minute bookings, but was received with alternative hotels. Convenient booking. Didn't get a non-smoking room though requested though.

Affordable room rate and near to Skytrain station,but don't expect too much.The quality of breakfast is getting from bad to worst.The staff does not top up food unless you ask. and they are empty most time. Flies are over the salad and fruits. The female staff who cooks egg omelette at the table has the worst attitude. We literally have to beg her for egg omelette! Frontline staff is friendly. So will stay at the hotel again but will just skip breakfast.

Good location, easy access to BTS and very friendly staff. Room was spacious, but bit of dirty. TV was poor, only domestic channels and BBC. Fitness center was great, big pool, reasonable prices and sunshine all day long. There's also a great barber!

We where staying in Trinity Hotel twice, in Executive suite and in standart room - both options just great: very big sized rooms incliding all needed facilites, very clean and plesant. Swiming pool on the roof very nice. Breakfast very simple, but ok. Location in Silom area great - just next to skaytral sala daeng ang chong nosi , near Patpong market, Lumpini park, 1 metro stop from Suam Lum night bazar. Great. We defenetly will stay there again and recommend it to anyone who are looking for budget price with high value.

This was my first stay at this hotel becuase it's usually fully booked. I found it to be clean and comfortable enough for the price. A bit hard to find a half block off Silom Road, behind Bangkok Bank. Good size rooms. Big pool on the 9th floor of building accross the alley. Breakfast buffet was ok. On departure day, they delivered a food box to the room because I had to leave before buffet was opened.

Hotel was not on Silom road, it was located near an alley, the room was nice and hotel was close to the BTS station, otherwise the service was very poor and they need to invest in new bed sheets as there was holes in our sheets. We don't recommend this hotel as you can find better hotel with the same price and closer to BTS station - It is recommended that you stay near the BTS, MRT stations to get to the main shopping centre.

It’s a pleasant hotel where you get what you pay for . Its location is excellent since its close to the main Silom road but well behind on a quiet inner Soi 5 lane .Close to a lively indigenous market. Swimming pool and Spa most attractive with a special coupon included in the price.You are entitled to 2 bottles of water per day but take care not to mix with the plastic bottles of water included in the minibar.The distinction between these two categories of water is not very clear –being trapped we had to pay for it. We were offered a taxi to the Airport for 750 BHT and than it went down to 400 BHT by the bell captain on the gate. Very friendly and helpful staff.We would come again.

I have stayed at over a dozen hotels in Thailand and Trinity Silom is by far the worst. The hotel itself is quite old. It seems that the upholstry and the curtains have never been changed. The TV in our room was not working properly and although we complained about it for 4 days, no one came to fix it. Room service was terrible and the prices for food were extremely high. I had booked a Junior Suite but they gave us a Deluxe room instead. After we complained, they changed our room. My advice is to stay away from this place.

My Junior Suite was large and well appointed, breakfast was quite good although it can get quite crowded and the rooftop pool is excellent. If arriving by taxi don t, as I did, tell him to take Silom Soi 5 as is is taken over by a day time market & is not passable by car. Best to come at it from behind off Sathorn. It doesn't have some of the facilities that other bigger hotels have but the rooms are excellent value and it's easy walking distance to everything in the area.

A nice hotel with a very nice and helpfull staff. Breakfast is ok, but could be better. The room was nice and clean. We found the location of the hotel perfect, skytrain and Silom road is just around the corner, which make it very easy to get anywhere you want in just a few minutes. The large swimmingpool is very nice, but the location, on top of the opposite building, is not too good. However the spafacilities at the poolarea is very nice. A hotel we definitely will come back to stay at.
