1)Once i step into the hotel , actually is not a hotel, is a inn not really comfortable... 2)i book a Grand Deluxe Room and wish this a bigger room with 2 big bed (According to the Photo), is just a King Size bed and a single bed in there, which can accommodate 3 pax..we when in 3 pax and they wanted us to pay extra 600bth per nite for a extra bed cause we have 3 pax...but we really dont need an extra bed cause is enough for us and the room is really pack..they insisted us to pay.We paid,and we waited for the extra bed to come and they said the single bed is already consider the extra bed 3)Unfriendly receptionist and they only will be friendly to Western people , helped them to carry luggage n smile to them all the time. 4)Is not a conveniet location 5)the Next morning, Toilet light spoil, the 3rd day, toilet flooded, everything is old 6) Not recomended

This has got to be the worst hotel I have ever stayed at in my life. The people who run it think they have something more special than it really is. Way overpriced for the level of accommodation and service. #1. Upon check in the lady behind the desk asking if she can keep the B500 key deposit. #2. An internet signal nightmare. #3. Non of the foreign channels on the TV worked in the 5 days we stayed there. #4. The same overworked ladies that clean the rooms are preparing the breakfast that was late every day. Poor food quality and sanitation too. The place is generally run down. It is only a one star at best. Bottom line is you can get much better elsewhere. We found a true 5 star hotel in central sukumivit for the same price as this one star nightmare.

Really nice hotel, with great service. Got a free upgrade on 2 of the rooms I booked. Convenient location for shopping (approx 10 mins walk to MBK). Also grab one of their great maps which shows all the attractions, time to get to places and approx tuk tuk price. Free snacks and wifi were also good. Very satisfied.

I don't like this hotel AT ALL! Our Grand Deluxe room looks like our standart room in Cambodia! Personal is pretty dumb and too relaxed. And there is building process under windows!!! Terrible noise from 9 a.m. till 5 p.m. I want to move out from here, but I ve already paid for it here and it's only for 2 nights, but NEVER AGAIN! And location is afull! slum! Ужасный отель! Отвратительные номера, локейшн - просто трущобы и помойка. Под окнами стройка! Больше никогда!

Уютный небольшой отель. Планировали в начале путешествия остановиться в том отеле, а в конце путешествия в другом. Но после первого посещения решили вернуться и во второй раз. Конечно интерьер не самый лучший и далеко не новый, но отличный сервис за скромные деньги, плюс отель очень удачно расположен. 5 мин до скайтрейна и речных трамваев. 10 мин до всех крупных торговых центров. Персонал очень доброжелательный и приветливый. В отеле очень тихо и уютно. В стандартных номерах окна выходят на стену, поэтому лучше брать superior. Бесплатный интернет в лобби, вода, чай, соки. Считаю, что за эти деньги более чем достойное предложение.

Everything was good especially the services but the only bad point is the bathroom. My room nos is 401 and the bathroom water keep turning big & small (most of the time is small) so the water will turn hot and cold as well. It makes us difficult to bath. It's just a feedback, beside this, everything was good, I will recommend to my friends..Thank you..

It was again (2 times this year already) a very pleasant stay at the Diamond City Hotel - like every time! The Hotel plus the whole staff is really recommendable. All mayor places are more or less within walking distance or easy reachable by the nearby situated sky train station Ratchatewi - or taxi! Some tips: Don’t use the Tuk Tuk’s which are waiting beside the hotel and if you are using a taxi on your way back, tell the driver to go to the “Asia Hotel” and then inside the “Soi Payanark”, because the most drivers don’t know where the Diamond is situated, as the street is really a side road!

my only comment was that we were booked for a superior double bed room. when we arrived it was a de luxe twin room. we informed the room attendant and he informed us that the bed at least will be changed the following day. when we arrived in the evening the following day the bed hasnt been changed, we called the front desk. we were told to be called back to update us. almost an hour passed, i called again and was put on hold. i got tired and slept. the following day before heading out i told the attendant the day we got in na dhe ust smiled. then we got back in the afternoon and told the front dest about it he told us to anonther room. its just frustrating to get it the day before you leave, not getting what you re supposed to when you re in a tight schedule.

The staff are really nice and helpful. I had a deluxe room which was quite big and clean, only the sheet are a bit old. Soi Phayanark is very noisy because of the thousands of Tuk tuks cruising there. It's full of local shops and workshops and at night countless small and very basic restaurants are set up on the street. It's a 10 minute walk to Ratchathewi Sky Train Station

The room was not bad at all, though, there was a slight problem with the slide door of the balcony, we asked for room change, I found out that they don’t provide standard rooms there, the room next door should have the same specification as our first room, though no bath tub was there! We refused and we saw almost 4 rooms, then we decided to stay back at the first room but demanded for the slide door to be fixed into position, they did after 30 minutes. At 1200 Baht per night is not bad after all, they provide a breakfast buffet, though no wide selection of food for guests, they serve the break fast from 6:AM till 10:00AM. The room was air-conditioned. No perfect view of the city since it has only 4 floors, if you would like to see some buildings, try to ask for room at the 4th floor facing the city and not facing the back yard or house walls! As they do have such rooms! The hotel staff is friendly; I would recommend the hotel for those who are looking for semi budget hotel, yet with decent service. But not for those who are too fussing about where are they staying. One thing to note, the hotel location is at the end of a narrow road that leads at one of its end to BTS sky train. It will take you average of 5 to 10minutes walking to reach that end or back to the hotel, depends on your walking speed.

Initially we booked for 2 deluxe connecting rooms, but we were given double bed room instead. We are very dissapointed. And the room smells amoniak from urine. The bath room is dirty. After arguing with the hotel staff (in broken english), we were just freak out. We have no choice to stay as we arrived late midnight. After wake up in the morning, we found pant's belt was almost broken. The hole seems animal's bite. Guess probably big rat. Total experience...disgusting.
