This is a very nice little hotel with very friendly and accomodating staff. It is at the end of the busybusy part of Nana so close enough to stroll to the busy part but not noisy or go-go. Just right. Very clean and modern and its own little restaurant is perfect for breakfast/coffee/or later night dining. I stay there every time. I strongly recommend Mr. A , the #2 taxi driver in the line right across from the hotel. Speaks great English and is a marvelous tour guide and friend.

I stayed at The Darwin for three nights. Itwas a very pleasant stay. I found the staff friendly and courteous. The room was cleaned propmtly each day. The hotel itself is well suitated in the middle of everything Bangkok has to offer,including dining ,shopping and entertainment. I would definitely recommend this hotel. I look forward to staying there again on my next trip.

A very nice Hotel. the entrance of the hotel is very nice same as the lobby. the rooms are very nice and clean. The standard rooms are a bit small, but perfect.There is a small rooftop pool,good enough to cool down a bit on a hot day. The Hotel is located just 300m away from NANA PLAZA so for people who like the nightlife,it is just a few steps away.Skytrain not far and taxi's enough.A perfect location. Friendly and helpfull staff.The Hotel Is guest friendly. I never woke up early so I can't say anything about the breakfast. A nice Hotel.

Rooms small but well furnished and well laid out. Restaurant provides good breakfasts either inside or on the front patio area. Staff very polite and helpful. Overall at 1800 bhat very good being modern and yet not top notch. If you like a modern room albeit small this is much better than some of the cheaper hotels that are older in area. Nice petite pool area. Will stay again but will also try Ibis which is next door. Near skytrain too which is good for airport transfer.

I like the location of this hotel. It's situated in a quiet section of soi 4 (near Nana and sukhumvit road). I also like the free wifi and the swimming pool. I had a corner room on the 6th floor and there was not a sound whichI liked very much. Tv has many channels including movies, sports and news. Only minor point is that the standard room is rather small but well apointed. All in all very good value for money.

The Darwin Hotel is down soi 4 about 300 meters, and about 400m from nana skytrain station , First time staying here and would stay again. Food good in resterant, Rooms of a very good standerd Location is first class for entertment, lots of bars and gogos close by but far enough down the soi to get a good sleep Shops and shopping malls close by via the sky train, lots of market stall up an down suk street. if you are not on a buget this hotel is a very nice place to stay.

The map is misleading. The hotel is further down Sukhumvit and the taxi drivers dont know it. The staff are the worst by far that I have encountered. Demanded a 500 Baht deposite for the mini bar and tea service. The tea service wasn't even in the room. When checking out the next morning, the receptionist wanted to keep the 500 baht deposite because the room key was cracked. I happened to have been given it that way. 10 minutes of arguing and I got my deposite back. Nice place if you can get a staff that is not so stupid.

Nice newly little hotel, just 500 meters from Nana Plaza. For nightsleep you have no hearing from any noice around the area, so you can sleep well. Nice and clean rooms and a flatscreen tv wich you can choose more than 80 channels. Very nice and friendly staff in the hotel wich i can recommend too all mine friends. Think for few days is this Hotel very good and price is very sharp for the area.

Excellent value for money hotel run by friendly , efficient and helpful staff . Good sized room with the best bed I have had in Thailand . Wonderful walk in shower (Don't like showers in/over baths). This hotel had a comforting warm feel to it and would not hesitate to stay again or recommend .Only negative for me was That I couldn't longer and it may be harder to book in the future as more people get to know this hotel .Thank-you to the Dawin and staff for my stay .

The swimming pool is opened during 8:00~18:00,it's hard to use. The female waiter of the bar at the lobby told me it's cost 500B+ from Dawin to the airport, but her cousin outside the hotel can send us the airport with his pick-up car by 400B. Actually, it only cost not more than 200B from Dawin to airport.

I absolutely cannot say enough good things about The Dawin. I stayed here for a total of 11 days and was extremely happy with the hotel choice. The rooms are very clean with a very nice decor. Everything is very comfortable and nice. The hotel staff is exceptionally courteous and friendly and always ready to help with any request. There is a very helpful represenative in the lobby to assist travelers with questions and making arrangements for local activities who is also very helpful and friendly. The location is fantastic and is central to many activities as well as being very close to the BTS for easy travel to various locations around the city. I did a lot of research beforehand and it paid off immensely. I was traveling with two other friends who also stayed in rooms here and all of us were very happy with the choice. When you also factor in the cost I m sure there is no better deal in Bangkok that offers similar comforts in this price range.

The booking service worked very well and all was as expected. One word of advise would be not to book the airport pickup service. It is a nice service, but for a fraction of the cost you can have a local taxi take you to the hotel.

If you come there by car there is a big disadvantage since there is no parking indoor but you have to keep it outdoor and ask the staff to open the gate there. The staff is nice. The wireless Internet is a bit unreliable but free so that's another big benefit with this place.

I am a requent visitor to Thailand and prefer to stay in the SUkumvit area since it is a very practical and central location. I have tried many hotels and had pleasant and un pleasant experiences which I have shared here. SiameServices has been my favourite and they are simply the best. Well, coming to the topic of the Dawin hotel, I purely wanted to try this hotel out simply for curiosity resons simply because I have read many positive comments . I should say that this is probably one of the best value for money deals you can get under/ around 2000 THB range (the rates when I visited). SImply amazing cute place. Centrally located in Soi4 Nana area, Calm, small but cozy and clean lobby, extremely friendly caring staff, corridoors are well lit and spanking new feeling, rooms are so clean and nice, I loved the shower cubicle,and the throne (lol)very modern. Very thoughtful of them to have a laptop size safety deposit locker in the room, closets , beds , linnen supberb, nice little pool . Oh the most practical aspect is that they have an awesome 24 hr room service/ restaurant . when you return to your room late , last thing you need to worry about is food when you don't remember if you had your dinner and wondering maybe it's time for an early breakfast In a nut shell , I have been very critical with some hotels here ( you can read my comments) when they are not up to what they boast in the website, but Dawin is simply superb and I will recommend it to fellow travellers. Good location if you are into the night life, standard room on the small side but well laid out and quality fittings inc flat screen TV and large safe. Air con controls wall mounted instead of hand held remote which would be more convenient. Time will tell if this still newish hotel ages well. Small but clean pool area. Breakfast not included in my 1780 baht per night cost but reasonably priced food in restaurant. Borderline whether it's worth 1780 but it smells a helluva lot better than the other place I stayed down the road.

I recently spent 6 nights at the Dawin and considering it's location found it excellent value for money. The hotel is clean and modern. The staff are friendly and the food is reasonably priced. I stayed in a standard room which I found ample for one person. My only small complaint is no coffee and tea making facilities in the room as a cup of tea is an integral part of my hangover cure. The hotel is guest friendly with no joiners fee if that's your thing but it's in no way sleazy. It's location on Soi 4 is excellent being just outside the edge of the hustle and bustle but still an easy stroll down Soi4 to Nana Plaza and onto Sukhumvit Rd and the skytrain. I found the bed comfortable and had no problem with noise from outside during sleeping. I ve stayed in this area of Bangkok 6 times now including some 5 star hotels and would have no hesitation in recommending The Dawin.

Very nice, new hotel just far enough down Soi 4 to be out of the chaos, but still an easy walk from Sukhumvit. Room had big flat screen TV with many cable channels. Small pool on the roof. Guest friendly.

Really lovely hotel as brand new and all done in a boutique stylie. However this hotel is bang on the go go bar street in Nana area so all guests are sex tourists which is great if you have come to Thailand for that but as a girl on my own I thought it was vile to see everyday in your face.

A small hotel, with very friendly and helpful staff, the room was very clean, with a nice size bathroom and shower. Only improvements I could suggest would be a tea/coffee machine in the room and a toilet douche spray added to the bathroom. I would most definitely stay here again and also recommend it to others.
