NOT a guest friendly hotel as advertised. Hotel charges 1000 bht for any guest at anytime for no given reasons. Security staff are glued to the lifts just to demand the 1000 bht charge regardless of who the guest is, after which the damage is already done. The internet room charges are so high for a min of 24 hrs that even frequent outages are not counted. Non-smoking rooms are meant to be non-smoking but ashtrays are offered on request with no due regard to others. TV channels are meant to almost every nationality with a single channel each without any sports channel and some channels had indonesian subtitles for only one reason....free to air. NOT recommended for the price of one single room on the new supposed tower. Recommended only for families of more than three persons who demand the least.

Excellent hotel,excellent location.If I were to be overly critical the superior rooms were a little dated, but the decor was in perfect order and everything worked and our room which overlooked the pool was very comfortable - this small critism is far outweighed by the excellent service, superb breakfast and friendly very efficient staff.Will definitely stay here again.P.S If you are in Pattaya,treat yourself to the Tower wing of the Amari - brilliant room, great view and they take you everywhere in a golf cart - no walking to the restaurants -fantastic.

The hotel is very average, (the old wing) I have stayed in many Amari Hotel's this is the worst. The front desk staff was extremely unhelpful. My son dropped his mobile in the taxi we took from the airport to the hotel. At check in we tried to take help from the front desk, they were extremely unhelpful, and were focused on collecting 10 Bhatt from us for the local call we were making on our behalf. Net-net useless staff. The rooms in the old wing suck, and they wanted us to pay 1500 Bhatt per night to upgrade.

The hotel was very beautiful and elegant. The rooms were a really good size and very clean. It is situated in a good area, right across from a 24 hour supermarket. The staff were so friendly and helpful like all the Thai people that we me. We stayed in this hotel for our first 2 nights in Thailand and were due to stay in a different hotel in Bangkok at the end of our trip, however we enjoyed our stay in the Amari so much that we cancelled our other booking and reserved a room there instead. We will definitely be back to Thailand and our stay in Bangkok will be in the Amari Boulevard. Reasonably priced and everything you could need.

Rather spacious rooms, ours on the sixth floor with a small balcony overlooking the poolarea. The bathroom was ok, pretty outdated but still fresh and clean. The room in general was clean, the bed not rock solid for once (which is a very good think) and nicely decorated. The pool and the pool area area was rather small but sufficient though. However, extra points for the nice service with refreshments. Why I would most definitively recommend this hotel is because of the excellent location, fantastic breakfast and very welcoming service (we got late check out without any discussion). The hotel is located very close to the BTS, you won't even break a sweat walking there. And the neighbourhood is pretty nice too with some shops, bars and restaurants, market stands and a supermarket very conveniently just across the street. So, I would absolutely return to this hotel next time I go to Bangkok. I have stayed at more luxurious resorts for approximately the same price (or more), but nothing will beat Amari Boulevard when it comes to the location. All this said it’s also a very nice looking hotel...once you are on the inside!

We picked this hotel based on location - very convenient to the sky train in the Sukhumvit area. We like to visit Siam Paragon and Central World while in Bangkok, especially the new Ocean World Aquarium at Siam Paragon. This hotel was a good moderately priced hotel. The breakfast buffet had good variety and the hotel owns two very good restaurants on the same street as well and they will arrange free transport to either of them. The rooms on the back tower are definitely older, but we had no problems or complaints. The staff are very helpful and friendly. Overall we were pleased.

We had a very pleasant stay at the Amari Boulevard. The General Manager was kind enough to give us a double upgrade at the cost of a single, which made a world of a difference, as the superior room that we had booked didn't look very appealing! The service was very prompt, breakfast was great - we had just stayed at the Amari Palm Reef in Koh Samui, and we figured the breakfast was almost identical in both hotels! The location of the Amari Boulevard was excellent in terms of the train station being very easy to access and enough shopping and eateries just around the corner. All in all a good stay and we would definitely reconsider staying the hotel if we were to revisit Bangkok.

As usual the Amari's have great sevice and a very nice lobby. My room was in the back(old) part of the hotel. I think it is way over priced for that room. Nothing special at all and in the same area you can find an equal room for half the price. Breakfast buffet was great but room itself was substandard for the premium price.
